(medieval electric guitar music)

(pastoral music) (birds chirping)

- [Drogo] We go down here.

- Kalem, what's wrong?

- I'm not sure, there's something in the air?

But it's not something I've ever experienced before?

Makes me anxious.

- (laughs) You're always anxious.

- This is different.

- How?

- I wish I knew?

All I know is I'm sensing something ominous.

(horse nickering)

(fires crackling) (suspenseful music)

(ominous music) (Kreel smirking)

- It's horrible!

- Barbarians!

- Xax?

- Nah, not Xax

and it's not the warriors either.

- [William] Are you sure?

- There's no scent!

- Not at all? - None.

None of the scent of the people who lived here.

- [William] How can that be, Kalem, no scent?

- I told you, Will, there's something

not quite right at the moment.

- Alvar, wait! (Alvar barking)

- Drogo, come back!

- He's found something!

(child crying)

Don't be frightened.

We won't hurt you, we've come to help.

- Oh, child! - Are you hurt?

(somber music)

- It's him!

It's him!

He k*lled them, keep him away!

Keep him away!

- What?

(Kreel laughing)

(somber music)

- Try to sleep now. - I'm frightened.

I keep seeing him.

- I know what you mean.

I remember when my parents were m*rder*d,

I was so frightened.

But one thing is certain, Will did not k*ll your parents.

- I saw him.

- He couldn't do it,

he's the kindest man in the world.

- [William] I just don't understand it?

- Neither does the girl.

She's certainly in a state of shock.

- Exactly, she doesn't know what she's saying.

- I think she knows precisely what she's saying.

- So what are we gonna do with her?

- I don't know, take her with us?

- Another child?

Princess Vara's enough to take care of, Will.

- Thank you, Leon, that's always nice to know.

- No offense, Your Highness,

it's just that we're always in so much danger.

- What else can we do, though?

- She told me she had relatives in the village of Zama.

- All right, then, we'll take her there.

- Zama's in the Canton of Casenia.

Casenia's offered its allegiance to Xax.

- But not that village, those people still support us.

- [Kalem] Perhaps?

- I don't think there's any other answer.

I vote we take her to Zama.

- Agreed.

- Yeah.

- Do I have a vote?

- No. (laughs)

What else can we do?

- Someone or some thing is tampering with the balance.

- Kreel?

- He's the only one with the power.

(somber medieval music)

(fires crackling)

(child crying)

(ominous music) (Kreel laughing)

- Wonderful, Kreel.

- Look well on me, boy, remember my face!

My name is William Tell,

remember it.

Let the people know what I can do.

Take him away.

- William Tell, to the life.

I must admit I did have my doubts, Kreel,

but for once, I think you've come up with something

that just might work.

- Tell won't last long.

I'll make him so hated

the whole kingdom will turn against him.

(ominous music)

- The village elder.

- We should contact him first, just to make sure.

- You're right.

Come on, let's go.

- I'll wait and watch, I sense danger around.

(door knocking) - I'm coming.

(door knocking) I'm coming!

Dear me, what an impatient world we live in!

Who's there?

- William Tell. - Will!

Oh, come in, my boy, come in!

Quickly, you mustn't be seen!

(wondrous music)

You're all here?

Well, normally I'd be delighted.

Princess Vara, there you are, my dear.

Oh, I am deeply honored.

- No!

- You? - Yes.

- Oh, I'm deeply honored, Your Highness.

But I'm afraid you must all leave at once.

- Why, Elder?

- It's not safe for you here.

- I have to talk to you.

- Some other time, Will, please!

Look, feelings are running very high

against you at the moment!

(Alvar barking) (door pounding)

(Alvar growling)

Don't be alarmed, it's the priestess.

(Alvar whining)

(wondrous music)

- William.

(ominous music)

- My Lord Xax, here, quickly!

At last!

- [Xax] (laughs) Tell, his ugly omen!

- We knew his soft heart would be his weakness.

- Where is he?

- The village of Zama.

- Why am I no longer welcome in the village?

- There have been a number of atrocities perpetrated

in the Canton recently.

People say you are to blame.

- Me? - That's madness!

- Of course Will wouldn't do it!

- Well, I know that!

- He k*lled my mother and father.

(suspenseful music)

- Oh, my dear, what are you saying?

- He did not!

- I saw him! (Alvar whining)

- Be quiet! - I won't!

I won't, I won't!

- Hush, child, Shush.

(suspenseful music)

There now, child, gently.

She isn't the only one.

- We brought her because she said she had relatives here.

Now if we were the murderers, why would we do that?

- Come with me, girl, tell me who your relative are

and I'll bring you to them.

- I shall dispatch some troops,

they can bring me back Tell's head on a platter

for my feast. - No.

No, let the villagers deal with him.

They're angry, they want revenge.

- They haven't the skill, Kreel.

- If they succeed, if Tell is k*lled by his own people,

we're in the clear.

- Yes!

- It's best if you leave now,

I can't guarantee your safety anymore!

- No, not until I find out what's going on,

why they accuse me?

I'm gonna talk to them. (Alvar growling)

- [Drogo] Listen!

- m*rder*r! - k*ller!

- [Villager] m*rder*r!

- Sounds like you're about to get your wish.

- [Villager] Come on out, Tell!

- You monster! - Barbarian!

- [Villager] Come on out, now!

- [Villager] Come out here and fight us, you monster!

- [Villager] m*rder*r!

- Back stabber! - m*rder*r!

- Barbarian! - Justice for William Tell!

(crowd exclaiming)

- Listen to me!

No, listen to me, please!

Just hear me out!

- Off with his head!

- Make him stop!

- Thank you.

Whatever you have heard, I am innocent.

(villagers gasping)

Please believe me.

I would never commit these crimes!

- Why should we listen to a barbarian

who has m*rder*d and b*rned and pillaged

throughout the Canton?

- I have done no such thing!

These stories you have heard are not true!

- These are not just stories.

Some have seen with their own eyes.

Who k*lled your parents, child?

- He did! (villagers gasping)

- You see, she points at you, she saw!

And there are more!

Who else accuses him, who else has seen?

Who is the murderous barbarian?

- [Villagers] Him!

(Villagers yelling)

- It's just not true!

It's not true!

- You have been condemned at the mouths of your victims.

They want revenge, they deserve revenge!

You must hang!

- Hang! - Hang!

(Villagers yelling)

- And so must your accomplices!

- Look, just listen to me!

- Listen to me!

You all know who I am!

- You are the Princess Vara, the true ruler of the kingdom,

we will return you safely to the Lord Protector.

- William Tell is my protector.

He is no m*rder*r!

- William Tell has hypnotized you!

- At least listen to me!

Allow me to defend myself.

- Hang him, hang them all!

- Hang him! - Hang him!

- Get back!

- No, no bloodshed!

They used to be our friends, we're running!

- Run? - Run now!

- Hang him! - Hang him!

(villagers chanting)

(medieval dramatic music)

- Go on, go!

(villagers grunting)

(ominous music)

- [Xax] Well? (lightening flashing)

(Xax yelling)

- Don't

ever do that again!

Don't

distract me like that again!

You're likely to be k*lled.

You're likely to k*ll me!

- What was that?

- They've got away! - What?

- But don't worry, we haven't lost them yet.

Look.

(ominous music)

- Another doppelganger?

- [Kreel] (laughs) Yes.

- But why do we need two of them?

- Have you never heard?

Divide and rule.

We divide Tell's renegade clan

and destroy them.

(suspenseful music)

(dramatic music)

(wind rustling)

- Do you think it's safe to cross?

- I'm not sure?

The wind's the wrong way.

But there's somethin', I don't know what?

- We should stay in the trees, then.

- You're right.

Drogo, you guard the princess. - Yeah.

- att*ck! (villagers yelling)

- Spread out!

- [Drogo] Come on!

(villagers shouting)

(dramatic music)

(villagers grunting)

(Leon shouting)

(villagers grunting)

(villagers yelling)

(dramatic music)

(Drogo grunting)

(dramatic music)

(villager shouting)

- Where'd they go? - Why have they gone?

- Is everyone all right? - Yeah, a few bruises.

- Where's Vara?

(Drogo grunting)

- Drogo, you all right?

Where's Vara?

- I had to fight, Will, they att*cked us!

- But where's Vara?

(Vara panting) (ominous music)

(Vara gasping)

- Are you all right?

- Yes. - This way.

(suspenseful music)

- Will!

- Come on!

- What is it?

- William Tell!

- Who are you?

- I am your reputation, your good name!

- He's the barbarian? - It seems so.

(Alvar growling)

- So it's you?

You commit these atrocities!

Why?

- You have a choice, Will.

Save the Princess Vara or find out who I am,

why I do what I do.

- I'll find the princess first, then I come after you!

- How many villagers will I have destroyed by then?

How people will I have slaughtered?

Do you want that on your conscience?

- Look, if it's me you want,

I challenge you to face me now.

- That would be too easy, Will.

I need better odds than that.

Besides, once I've destroyed your reputation,

what does your life matter?

(arrow whistling)

(ominous music)

- Did you see that?

- What was he, a sorcerer?

A supernatural?

- No, I would have sensed that.

One thing is certain, it isn't a man.

(ominous music)

- Will, why are we going this way,

the others are back there?

- We'll join them presently,

first I have to get you to a place of safety.

- Where?

- Don't talk, keep walking.

(suspenseful music)

- What do you suggest we do?

- Leon, Aruna and Drogo look for Vara,

you hunt down the barbarian.

- But that splits us up, it weakens us?

- [Kalem] Whatever that thing is, it wants Will to follow.

- Then we all go. - No!

- What's going on, Kalem?

- (sighs) I don't know?

Except that I sense the answer lies in your hands alone.

- I'm not sure about this?

- No, Kalem's right.

As long as you're certain Vara is safe?

- For now. - All right.

I'll go after the barbarian.

I don't want anymore innocent people slaughtered in my name.

- Be careful. - You, too.

- Watch your back.

You don't know whether this thing's a man, a spirit or what?

- Well, I'll find out, Leon, and tell you, now go.

- Come on, Leon, Drogo's waiting.

- Alvar, you stay with me.

I need someone to watch my back.

(Alvar grunting)

Unless you're coming with us?

- No, I can be of more use elsewhere.

- Kalem, what's going on?

- We may be facing the ultimate challenge, Will.

More deadly than any we have known so far.

- Then come with me, guide me.

- No, you're best on your own.

I want to find out what Kreel has to do with this.

- Kreel?

Kalem, you stay away from him.

- [Kalem] Don't worry, I've grown stronger

since we first met.

I'm strong enough now to block out Shaytana's Eye.

- I don't believe it.

- It's all right, Will.

I know what I can do, or can't do.

- Stay away, the Eye can destroy you!

- So long as I don't directly confront it, I'll be safe!

Now, concentrate on your own danger,

and don't waste energy worrying about me.

(mystical music)

- Come on, Alvar.

(mystical music)

(wind rustling)

(suspenseful music)

(horse neighing)

What's he playing at, Alvar?

He's making this all too easy.

- I'm making it easy for you, Will.

Just don't think about it.

(suspenseful music)

- Stand aside, Sir. - Prepare to die, Renegade!

- Who are you? - I am your nemesis.

I seek justice! - Justice?

Hm, how boring.

k*ll him!

- You hide behind a body guard!

You hide behind a death wand

and you call yourself a warrior?

- I am a warrior!

- Fine words, but have you the courage to prove them?

- I certainly shall.

At your expense. (suspenseful music)

- You're hurting me! - We must hurry.

- [Vara] There's no reason to hurt me!

- [Will] Stop complaining!

- Why haven't we met up with the others?

- We will soon!

- We should have done by now!

Why have we come back here?

- [William] We're safe here.

- They tried to k*ll us! - Don't argue!

- Will, what's going on?

(sword whistling)

- Let's see what sort of warrior you are then, shall we?

(Xax yelling) (metal clanging)

(Xax laughing) (dramatic music)

(Kalem and Xax yelling)

(metal clanging)

(dramatic music)

(Xax yelling)

(Kalem gasping)

(Xax yelling)

(dramatic music)

Well, my friend, you put up a good fight,

but not good enough. (laughs)

So prepare

to meet

your spirits.

- No one has ever defeated me before.

- You?

You're a wo- - A woman?

(ominous music)

- Who are you?

- Thalestris of Maranon.

Do with me as you wish, as much as I despise you,

I belong to you now.

- You belong to me? (romantic music)

- You defeated me.

It is a law of our tribe.

- And if, if for curiosity's sake, you had defeated me?

- I would have k*lled you.

- Well.

I am doubly lucky, then.

- So,

exercise your right.

k*ll me and be done with it.

- (sighing) Why do you despise me?

- Everyone despises William Tell

for the atrocities he commits.

- You think that I am William Tell?

- [Kalem] You are William Tell.

- How do you come to that conclusion?

- You're a great warrior.

- I am.

- [Kalem] You live in the Citadel.

- I do.

- I'm told the Citadel belongs to William Tell.

- No, it doesn't!

I am not William Tell!

- No? - No!

How ever did you come to that conclusion?

- Who are you then?

- I am the Lord Xax.

Lord Protector of the peoples of Kale.

- Xax?

You're Lord Xax, William Tell's deadly enemy?

- Yes, I am sworn to k*ll the outlaw.

- My Lord,

I am doubly yours.

- Well then, we should talk some more.

- We shouldn't be here, Will, this is madness!

- Shut your mouth! - What?

Whatever's the matter with you,

you've never spoken to me like...

You're not wearing the pendant?

- What?

- The pendant, you're not wearing it!

- [William] What does it matter if I'm wearing it or not?

- [Elder] Princess, Will?

- I've never see you without it?

- What brings you back here?

- I've brought the Princess Vara, you're to look after her.

- Am I? - What?

- There's been a change of plan.

- I'm very proud but-- - What change of plans?

- Kalem told me!

- She didn't tell me!

- She doesn't have to!

- A change of plan can be very dangerous!

- What about the others?

- We'll join them here, just wait!

(ominous music)

- Put down your weapons!

(stone whistling)

He comes as a friend.

He has changed sides.

- What?

What's she saying?

(ominous music)

- I have seen the error of my ways.

(villagers exclaiming)

I come to confess to you and to ask your forgiveness.

(villagers gasping)

- Don't listen to him, he's not William Tell!

- Silence.

- No, I will speak, I am your princess!

- Seize her!

(ominous music) - No, no!

- He's determined we don't lose him, isn't he?

Well, let's not disappoint him.

(ominous music)

(ominous music)

- My lady.

- Thank you.

- To what shall we drink?

To my birthday.

No,

no,

to your health,

your

beauty

and our future.

(romantic music) (glasses clinking)

- [Kalem] If only we could know that, My Lord.

- Oh, I think I do. (laughs)

When you said you were mine, what did you mean exactly?

- You own me, My Lord.

- Then let me tell you of our future.

- But, I can't be fully yours

until William Tell is dead.

- Another rule of your tribe I suppose?

- A vow.

William Tell destroyed my village,

slaughtered my children,

I want revenge.

- Then let's see that William Tell dies

as quickly as possible.

(glasses clinking)

(suspenseful music)

(hooves pounding

- Inside.

- Smells like a trap, Alvar.

(suspenseful music)

But what else can I do?

Come on.

(ominous music)

(suspenseful music)

- Don't hold back now, Will.

Not now that we've so nearly got you.

(ominous music)

- My advisor,

Kreel,

has invented a w*apon.

- What sort of w*apon?

- Hmm, no, I shouldn't say anymore, really.

- Why not?

- Kreel says that by divulging a secret

one can diminish its power.

- But surely you can tell me?

- No, now please don't ask anymore!

- I'm sorry, it should be enough to know

that William Tell faces his death.

Except,

I want to see him die.

Is it possible, for me to see him die?

- It may prove difficult.

- But you're the Lord Protector,

you only have to say the word.

- No, it's not quite as simple as all that.

- And I thought you were a man of power?

A man of strength?

- I am.

- Then show me, prove your power.

I would only believe it if I saw him die with my own eyes.

Only then will I be released from my vows.

- I will,

I'll arrange it.

Whatever Kreel says,

you shall be present

at William Tell's

death.

- My Lord.

- How dare you interrupt me!

Out, before I have you flogged!

- My Lord, the Master Kreel sent me.

You're to come at once, William Tell faces his death.

- Does he?

Well,

tell Master Kreel

I shall be along soon.

Come with me and we'll see.

(suspenseful music)

(water splashing)

- Come out and face me, Will!

- [William] Stay Alvar.

- You're not honestly gonna k*ll me are you?

- Why not?

- I'll show you why not.

(dramatic music)

(Kreel laughing)

- At last, I understand why the people blame me

for the atrocities.

- Atrocities?

That's your problem, Will, you're much too soft hearted.

- Who are you?

- Who do you think I am?

- Tell me!

- Could it be that I'm your brother?

Your twin brother. - Brother?

(Alvar growling)

- Control the dog, Will, or I'll be forced to destroy it.

- Quiet, Alvar.

- I offer you peace.

- What?

- How can we talk, how can I explain?

How can we learn about our lives

when you're pointing your w*apon at my throat?

(ominous music)

- I don't trust you.

- It's not part of my purpose to k*ll you, Will.

On the contrary, it's my purpose to keep you alive.

Let me explain,

put down the w*apon.

- No.

- So sad.

That you and I, brothers, should so distrust each other.

(Alvar growling)

- Brother?

(mystical music)

- That's better. - Stay where you are!

- I am not gonna hurt you!

We are brothers! (Alvar growling)

- Get back!

- The dog, Will! (Will gasping)

Don't move, just don't move!

(Alvar barking)

Keep the dog quiet or it'll be the worst for you!

- Alvar, sit, quiet! (Alvar whining)

- This is the place,

the Shrine of Shaytana's Eye.

Oh, (laughing) don't be afraid.

Come! (suspenseful music)

Wait here.

(throat clearing)

- At last, My Lord, we have him!

- Let's k*ll him. - Patience.

k*lling Tell is only half the battle.

First and foremost, I want Kalem,

she is the power behind Tell.

He is just the bait and when I have hooked her,

then you can k*ll Tell.

- Then where is Kalem?

- Don't worry, she'll turn up,

she wouldn't let her champion,

the kingdom's hero, perish.

- I want to bring someone in

to witness this momentous occasion, Kreel.

- What?

Who?

- [Xax] A friend.

- A woman?

- She wants to see Tell die very much.

- I hold this power uneasily, sometimes it flows well,

but others I have to work hard to right it!

At these times I need all my concentration.

- You allow me?

- Yes, but you're part of the energy.

A stranger would upset the balance

and would put us both in danger.

- Yes,

well,

very well.

- And now I'm gonna surprise you some more, Will.

- Shh! (suspenseful music)

- I just wanted you to know

that I could k*ll you if I wanted to.

Now can we talk?

Brother to brother?

- There's Will. - How did he get down there?

- What's he doing down there?

- Wait! - What?

- I don't know? - What is it, Drogo?

- I'm not sure, it looks like Will, but?

- What's wrong with you, it's Will down there?

- Aruna,

Leon, Drogo!

- Come on!

- Why are we hiding? - Hold your tongue!

(suspenseful music)

- Will, what are you doing here?

- Kalem gave fresh instructions.

- [Leon] This village is dangerous.

- There's no scent?

- What? - Leon, it's--!

- Vara? - Yeah, I heard her, too.

- Now! (villagers yelling)

- No, no, no v*olence!

Don't struggle, don't resist.

They used to be our friends.

(suspenseful music)

- If they're our friends why are they tying us up?

- You will see, Leon.

All will become clear.

(suspenseful music)

- You betrayed them!

- Another word out of you and you'll join them!

(ominous music)

- [Xax] You are brilliant, Kreel, absolutely brilliant!

- I've been telling you that all along!

(Xax laughing) Look!

As you see, we have him.

- If you really are my brother,

why has it taken you so long to find me?

- I could ask you the same question?

- I didn't know you existed?

- Now you know.

- I only know what you tell me.

- Don't you believe me? - I'm not sure?

- Don't I look like your brother?

- If we only take into account appearances, yes.

- Well, believe your eyes, Will.

- I'm not sure that I want to.

- Why do you reject me?

Your own flesh and blood?

- Because you have done things

that I wouldn't want my brother to have done.

- We live in a hard world, Will,

one full of brutality and barbarity.

- And one that also has love and humanity.

I know which I prefer.

- You're too sentimental.

But you'll learn.

- I am the real William Tell, the true William Tell,

created by Kalem for the purpose of destroying the kingdom.

(villagers gasping) - He's lying!

- Hush, child, be careful!

- I was created by Kalem for the sole purpose

of destroying Kreel and Xax. (villagers gasping)

The true friends of the kingdom.

And above all, I was created to m*rder the king and queen,

the father and mother of the Princess Vara.

- What?

- And in k*lling them, to bring w*r

and pestilence to the kingdom.

Thanks to the priestess, I have seen that I am wrong,

that Kalem has tricked me. (villagers gasping)

I have seen that Kreel and Xax are

the true saviors of the kingdom.

(magic buzzing) (Kalem gasping)

And that I must return the princess to their protection.

These are the people who have led me astray.

Through them, Kalem has held me in her thrall.

But I am free from her devilish influence now.

And to prove this,

I place myself at your disposal.

I will do

whatever you ask me to do.

(villagers gasping)

- Rid the kingdom of these barbarians once and for all!

Execute them here and now!

- Give me a sword. (villagers cheering)

- No! (dramatic music)

We cannot do this, this makes barbarians of us all!

- You defend these monsters?

- They are our friends! (villagers gasping)

They have protected us,

they have risked their lives for us!

- And m*rder*d, and b*rned and pillaged!

- Let us show some compassion!

(villagers gasping) We are not savages!

- But they are and still you defend them!

(dramatic music)

It seems to me the time has come

for us to elect a new elder.

What do you all say? (villagers cheering)

And what shall we do with this one?

- k*ll him! - k*ll him!

(villagers chanting)

- Put him with the others then!

Seize him!

(villagers yelling)

- Will,

join me.

Together we will be unstoppable.

- Join forces?

What do you mean, Kreel?

- Xax.

- I thought he was supposed to be bait?

- There's more than one way to trap a wolf.

- But I don't like it!

- Don't feel threatened, My Lord, watch!

(Kalem panting)

(ominous music) (Kalem gasping)

- Together we could rule the kingdom.

Power,

riches,

fame!

(dramatic music)

With such power you could do whatever you wanted to do.

- Could I give the kingdom back its freedom?

Could I free the people from their sl*very?

Could I defeat Kreel and Xax?

- I'm glad we didn't spend our lives together,

you would have driven me mad!

- (laughs) And you me.

(ominous music)

- The time approaches, My Lord.

(Kalem gasping)

(crossbows clicking) (suspenseful music)

- I can't say I'm disappointed,

your goodness is tedious.

If I had to spend anymore time with you

I think you'd bore me to death.

k*ll him! (Alvar barking)

(dramatic music) (water splashing)

(dramatic music)

(Alvar barking) (arrows whistling)

Get him!

Get him! (Alvar barking)

Don't let him get away!

sh**t him!

You're dead, Will!

(ominous music)

(dramatic music) (Vara crying)

You can't escape, Will!

If you don't surrender to me

I'm gonna k*ll this dog of yours!

(dramatic music)

- Oh, stop this!

Please, stop it!

- [Priestess] If you don't be quiet, Your Highness,

you will join them!

- Well take me, too, then!

(crying) No, no!

You're not William Tell, you're not! (crying)

(dramatic music)

- You're time's running out, Will!

- All right! (suspenseful music)

- What are you waiting for, k*ll him!

k*ll him while we have the chance!

Kreel! (Kalem gasping)

- I suppose you're right, I'm disappointed in Kalem.

- Let me give the order.

What do I say?

- [Kreel] Just one word.

- I have waited for this moment for quite some time!

- No!

- What?

- Thalestris?

(dramatic music)

- No! - Kreel, what's happening?

- Kalem!

I was right, I knew you couldn't resist!

(suspenseful music)

(doppelganger gasping)

(glass shattering)

(dramatic music)

(people screaming)

- Kalem?

(dramatic music)

- It was Kalem all the time?

It was

Kalem?

(somber music)

- [Warrior] Let's get outta here!

(somber music)

(Alvar whining)

(dramatic music)

(glass breaking)

(doppelganger gasping)

- Are you all right? - Of course, I'm all right.

(ominous music)

- Is he dying? - How can he be?

He hasn't any life?

Now let me finish the job!

(doppelganger gasping)

(Vara crying) (suspenseful music)

(wind whistling)

(dramatic music) (villagers gasping)

- [Villager] It's witchcraft!

- Will!

Will!

- Imposter! - No, he wears the pendant!

- k*ll them, k*ll them!

(dramatic music)

(arrow whistling)

(glass breaking) (priestess screaming)

(dramatic music) (priestess sobbing)

- Here is your traitor! (villagers gasping)

She works for Kreel.

Look. (stone buzzing)

- So near,

so near!

- She wears a crystal!

- But we did get Kalem, that justifies everything.

Without Kalem, Tell is powerless!

He's finished!

(wind whistling)

(somber music)

- Your destiny is to find the crystal arrow.

That is Kale's only hope.

(villagers muttering)

(somber music)

- Will?

- Yes?

- They're all waiting for you inside?

- I know.

(sighing) I'm not really in the mood for a celebration.

(wind whistling)

- I'm sorry.

- I didn't realize how fond I was of her.

- All of us were.

Are you certain that she's? - She's dead.

I heard her cry out as she d*ed.

(Kalem yelling)

So,

even Kalem's not immortal.

- No.

(sighing) So, what now, what does it mean for us?

- I haven't even thought about us?

- Hey, we should go inside, it's you that they want.

Come on.

(somber medieval choir music)

- [William] Come on, Alvar.

(medieval pipe music)

(arrow whistling)

(apple splitting)

- You are learning, William Tell.

(somber music)
