Hey, wait for me!

Headmaster Crane: Let's do something a bit different today, cadets.

I'm going to give you each a couple of objects

in the solar system to study,

after which I want you all to share your findings

with the rest of the class.

Oh man, I don't wanna share my findings.

Raven, is there something wrong?

Well...yeah.

Why should I work so hard learning something,

just to have to share it with everyone?

Well, if Raven's not sharing, neither are we!

Hawk: We aren't?

I mean, right -- we aren't!

I have to say, Headmaster,

I kind of agree with Eagle.

Really? Sure.

It doesn't seem right to share what we learned with Raven

if he's not gonna share with us.

Besides, my research is always much more thorough

than anybody else's.

What are you talking about?

[Space Racers arguing]

[Headmaster Crane whistles]

Hmm. What you're saying is

that you don't see how it helps you to share knowledge?

Uh-huh. Uh, well, yeah. Pretty much.

Then I suppose we should cancel that project

and do something else today.

How 'bout a game?

Something competitive, perhaps?

Now you're talkin'!

How 'bout a race!

Or a trivia contest!

I have an even better idea.

Let us combine a race and a trivia game.

Who's up for a scavenger hunt?

Oh cool!Alright! So Awesome!

A scavenger hunt!I love this.

This scavenger hunt will lead each of you

on your own epic adventure around the Solar System itself!

Cool!

So, what does the winner get?

Well, uh...

Ah! I don't want to give anything away,

but whoever solves the final riddle

will share in a reward

more valuable than any of you can imagine!

I don't know, we can imagine a lot!

Alright, cadets. This is how it will work:

You each receive a clue

that describes a different location

in our Solar System.

You must figure out what each location is,

and then follow Ava's instructions to your next clue.

Here are your riddles. Ava?

Ava: I'm first from the Sun so you think I'd be hottest.

If I tell you that's wrong, I'm not just being modest.

I'm still pretty hot,

but "tiniest planet" is the title I've got!

Who am I? Let's see...

tiniest planet and first from the Sun.

That means it's the closest to the Sun.

Hmmm...

Ava: It's true that I've got a red spot on my middle

But it doesn't hurt me, I'm fit as a fiddle!

Of all the eight planets that circle our star,

of one thing I'm certain: I'm biggest by far!

Who am I?

Biggest planet with a red spot in the middle.

Wait! I remember this.

Ava: I share my name with a goddess of love,

and I'm hottest of all of the planets above.

You'd think I'd be second,

but then you'd be wrong if that's what you reckoned.

Who am I?

Hottest planet but you'd think I'd be second

since it gets hotter the closer you get to the Sun.

Hmmm...

Ava: My moons Phobos and Deimos both orbit around me,

if you can find them, then you've certainly found me!

I may not be hottest, or biggest, or baddest,

but I'm perfectly happy to settle for reddest!

Who am I?

The Red Planet!

With the moons Phobos and Deimos.

I know this.

Excellent, Racers.

Once you have the answers to your riddles,

head to that location for your next clue!

Booster Rockets?

Engaged!

Wings?

Back!

Space visors?

Down!

Blast off!

Have no fear, adventure is near!

This is gonna be a breeze!

There's only one planet closest to the Sun!

The biggest planet with a red spot --

Oh yeah, I've got this!

Second planet from the Sun, with a love goddess's name?

Ha-ha, I wonder if everyone's clues are this easy?

The Red Planet?

It's only my favorite planet other than Earth!

Man, I've practically got this thing won already!

Smallest planet, closest to the Sun.

That can only be one place.

Mercury!

Ava: Affirmative, Eagle. You are correct.

Mercury is the planet closest to the Sun.

It is also the smallest planet.

But it's not the hottest?

Ava: No. Another planet is even hotter.

Hey, this must have my next clue.

Got it!

The biggest planet.

That's gotta be...Jupiter!

And there's the red spot, just like the riddle said!

Ha! I knew it!

Ava: You are correct, Hawk. Well done.

And that'll be my next clue!

Venus! Second planet from the Sun!

But it's really the hottest planet

in the whole solar system? Ava: Affirmative.

It has a very thick atmosphere

which traps the heat of the Sun.

In some spots on the surface of Venus,

the temperature is over degrees Fahrenheit!

Whoa. That is hot.

Ava: Venus is named after the Roman goddess of love,

and is also known, at times,

as both the Morning and the Evening Star --

though she isn't a star at all.

Hey, does that contain my next clue?

Ava: Affirmative, Cadet Robyn.

Raven: The reddest planet. Ha ha! That can only be one place...

Mars!

Ava: You are correct, Raven. Nicely done.

No big surprise there. Hey, what's that thing?

Ava: The location of your next clue.

Oh. Cool!

Ava: Now because the answer to your next clue

is so far away, once you figure it out,

you just need to enter it here.

All right!

Nothin' wrong with a little shortcut!

Let's hear the clue.

Ava: As you wish.

I may not be farthest from our sunny star,

but if you're looking to chill then I set the bar!

Because I've been told of all eight solar planets,

I've got the worst cold!

Who am I?

Let's see.

Not the furthest from the Sun, but the coldest.

Ava, can you please bring up a model of our Solar System?

Ava: Certainly.

Let's see.

I'll bet it's the second furthest planet,

which would be...Uranus!

Ava: That is correct answer.

Yeah! Woohooo!

Ava, may I hear my next riddle again?

Ava: You'd think I'd be coldest,

a big ball of ice that's least near to the Sun,

but that's not my prize, that's not what I've won.

So don't be mistaken 'cause windiest planet is the prize that I'm taking.

Who am I?

Windiest?

Hmmm...

Wait!

Least near to the Sun.

I know that...Neptune!

Neptune is the farthest from the Sun!

Ava: You are correct, Cadet Robyn.

Okay, let's hear my next riddle, Ava. Ava: Of course.

I warm them all and I'm quite the go-getter.

I'm also a very good riser and setter.

I put the "sol" in "solar"

I am hottest by far,

but it isn't conceited to say "I'm a star!"

Who am I? Wow!

What rises and sets in our Solar System,

warms everything,

and is a star?

Wait! I know...

The Sun!

The answer is THE SUN!

Ava: You are correct, Hawk. Yes!

Ava: I'm second in size and second in moons,

of all the spheres' music, of all of those tunes,

mine might be the sing-iest,

because of eight solar planets you could say I'm "ringiest"!

Who am I?

Just let me think for a sec.

Second in size... That means second biggest.

And second most moons...

And ringiest.

Wait! That means it has rings!

I know this! Saturn! It's Saturn!

Ava: Correct. And here is your next clue:

You've all come quite far, you should really be proud,

but now's not the time to claim victory out loud.

There's still one final riddle that needs to be solved

and to find it go now, just as fast as you can,

straight back to the spot where our hunt first began.

All: Earth!

Hey, how'd you guys get here so quick?

Us?

How'd YOU get here so quick?

Now pay close attention, cadets.

The final riddle is about to be revealed.

Ava: I might not be largest, or coldest, or windiest,

nor smallest, nor hottest,

and I'm sure not the ringiest.

You can't call me reddest, I'm no shining star,

but when looking for me, you don't have to look far.

You're lost if you lose me, you'll see what I mean.

And I'll need four heads plus eight eyes

and one team to be seen.

Who am I?

Eight eyes? Four heads?

What does that even mean?

Hey! If you put all four of us together...

...we've got eight eyes and four heads.

Yeah.

So, maybe none of us has the answer alone.

Four heads, eight eyes -- we make up one team!

I don't know about you,

but I only have enough information

to cross a couple of places off the list!

Me, too.

Me three.

What?

Maybe if we all share

what we've learned about planets and stuff

in the Solar System,

we'll all be able

to figure it out together.

Oh, alright.

Everybody say what they know it can't be.

I know it's not Venus or Neptune.

Or Jupiter or the Sun.

Or Mercury or Saturn.

[softly] Or Mars or Uranus. What? What?

Or Mars or Uranus. It can't be them either.

So that just leaves one place!

And if we lose it, we'd be lost!

Earth!

Wait a minute! Earth again?

Ava: That is correct. It is a trick question.

Ha-ha, ha.

Hear ye, hear ye,

the winners of this scroll

have journeyed the spaceways today to discover

one of the most important truths of the universe.

And their prize for this discovery is...

that from this day forward,

they will remember how important it is to share knowledge,

because what we learn alone is most valuable

when it is added to the knowledge of others.

[Raven laughing]

If I may ask, what is so funny, Raven?

Sorry, Sir.

It's just that I thought if we got the final answer right

we'd win something, you know, great.

Hmm. Perhaps you should consider this:

without this truth,

there would have been no winners here today at all.

Oh, and you've also won

brand-new Orb-O orbs for everyone!

Awesome!

We needed a new one!
