MR. HUDA: Oh dear, do you see that?

RAFIA: See what, Baba?

MR. HUDA: This machine's too full.

Maybe the three of you can help me with that? Eh?

MR. HUDA: [chuckles] I know!

Kids: [Cheering, laughing]

RAFIA: Me first!

RAFIA: Ouuu, I wonder what's inside!

ALMA: Alright, Lucas, your turn.

LUCAS: Yesss! A whistle.

[whistling]

MR. HUDA: Ee-e-e!!

[whistling continues]

[dogs howling]

RAFIA: [shouting] Okay, Alma, your turn!

[whistling stops] [a single whistle]

ALMA: Here goes!

ALMA: [gasp] Sa-weet! Friendship bracelets!

RAFIA: Nice!

One's for you and the other's for your best friend. So...

LUCAS: That's me!

RAFIA: Ah, sorry, Lucas, if anyone's Alma's best friend, it's me.

LUCAS: No, I'm sorry, Rafia.

I've known Alma since forever. So, that makes ME her best friend.

ALMA: I don't like where this is going.

RAFIA: Well... Alma and I are always playing basketball together,

like best friends do.

LUCAS: Welllll... Alma and I are always singing together...

[sings] Like best friends doo.

RAFIA: So...who's your best friend, Alma?

LUCAS: Yeah, who?!

ALMA: Yikes! Umm, you're both my friends...

LUCAS: Yeah, but who's your BEEEEST friend?

ALMA: Ahhh....

RAFIA: Let's race you around the block,

and the winner is Alma's best friend.

LUCAS: Deal!

ALMA: Hey, wait! Hold up, I should decide this!

RAFIA/LUCAS: Okay!

ALMA: [gasp] I can't decide this!

Uhh... I'll get back to you later.

RAFIA/LUCAS: Okay!

ALMA: Uhmm... much, much later.

RAFIA/LUCAS: [disappointed] Okay.

LUCAS: [whistles]

ALMA: This ones for me, but who do I give this one to?

ALMA: Rafia or Lucas?

How am I going to decide who's my best friend?

ANDREÉ: Whoawhoawhoa. Watch the masterpiece.

ALMA: Whoops! My bad, André.

ANDREÉ: No worries. I can fix it.

ALMA: Heeyyy, if anyone knows who my best friend is, it's André.

Can you help me with something?

ANDREÉ: Sure, what's up, Alma?

ALMA: I got these friendship bracelets from Mr. Huda's toy machine--

ANDREÉ: Ouu! Mr. Huda always puts good stuff in there.

ALMA: Totally. But now I have to give one to my best friend.

But I can't decide who that is.

ANDREÉ: [laughing] Well that's just silly.

ALMA: It is?

ANDREÉ: It's obvious that I'm your best friend!

We're always doing art together. Am I right, or am I right?

ALMA: Yikes! He has a point.

ANDREÉ: I am your best friend... RIIIIGHT??

ALMA: Um, I'll get back to you on that. I've, uh, gotta get home!

We're always dancing, sharing snacks...

Aaaaaand I've known you since you were born.

that means I'm your best friend, right?

And we share snacks and lots of other things!

Like Mami, Papi, Abuelo, the house, the TV, the toothbrush...

ALMA: Toothbrush?

JUNIOR: [chuckles] Just kidding!

EDDIE: Okay, okay. But I'm Alma's faaaaavorite primo. Right, Alma?

JUNIOR: But I'm her faaaaavorite brother.

ALMA: Junior, you're my only brother.

JUNIOR: Yeah! You're favorite only brother!

EDDIE: Maybe we should let Alma decide who her best friend is.

EDDIE/JUNIOR: It's me, right?!

ALMA: Now I have to pick between Rafia, Lucas, André AND Eddie and Junior?

Ah! Um, I'll get back to you.
