Hmmm. This is going to be one tough game of hide and seek.

Yadina: (giggles)

Brad: Uhhh?

Brad: Hmmm!

Yadina: This could take a while...

Yadina: Who's there?

Brad: Aghhh. This is too hard.

Yadina: You usually search way longer.

Brad: That's the problem.

Yadina: Cool.

That's who we're going to meet.

Yadina: In New York.

Brad: Do you think Kate Warne can help me

get better at hide and seek?

Xavier: Only one way to find out.

Yadina: Here we go!

Brad: It's happening! Yadina: Hang on Doctor Zoom!

Yadina: Wearing only one sock?

Kate: Missing. It's a real problem.

You see, I always use what I know

And I know Tommy loves cuddly things

like teddy bears or soft blankies..

I mean, sure, I like to cuddle stuff, but socks go on feet.

I wouldn't cuddle them.

Yadina: He makes a good point.

Brad: Well, I guess that's that.

Kate: We can't give up.

Maybe Tommy knows something that will help.

Tommy: You want my help?

Kate: Actually, I was hoping

Xavier: Wooh, fancy title..

Yadina: ..and a fancy badge.

Tommy: Now, that I think about it,

I did see Eggerton sniffing your socks earlier.

Kate: Eggerton! Of course.

He loves to chew on things like wool socks.

Kids: Ewwwww...Yuck!

Brad: Who would chew a sock?

Kids: Ohhhhhhhhhh.

Xavier: Eggerton's a dog.

That makes a lot more sense. Brad: Oh, much more sense.

Kate: Now the question is, where is Eggerton?

Not there.

Xavier: Not under here, either.

Kate: Knock-knock. Yadina: Who's there?

Brad: (sigh) Not Eggerton.

Yadina: (laughter) That's so funny!

That wasn't a knock-knock joke.

...Sorry.

Brad: This is as bad as playing Hide and Seek.

You look and look and you look,

but can never find who you're looking for.

Kate: Don't worry, we'll cr*ck this mystery

by using the clues we know to solve the problem.

Brad: Oooh, ok!

Kate: And I know Eggerton's a really loud chewer.

Tommy: He sounds like this: nom-nom-nom.

All: (laughter)

Brad: Ahhhh, I've heard that sound before.

It came from out here.

Eggerton: (munch-munch)

Kate: Eggerton!

Eggerton: (slruuuup)

Brad: And the missing sock.

(sniff-sniff)...Ew.

Kate: (laughter) Mystery solved.

Brad: Agh, aside from the slobber, that was pretty great.

Probably Kate Warne's best detective work.

Berby: (blarp) Xavier: I think Berby disagrees.

Berby: (wooo)

Brad: Whoa.

Where are we? When are we?

Berby: (bleep blarp bloop) Xavier: At a train station.

Twenty-one years later.

Yadina: And there's Kate Warne.

Xavier: Wearing the same badge from the Secret Museum.

Brad: Kate. Are you a real detective now?

Kate: I sure am.

I solve big problems for The Pinkerton Detective Agency.

Xavier/Yadina/Brad: Woah

Xavier: Awesome! Brad: Oh, that's so cool.

Kate: And right now, I'm on a really big case.

I have to secretly sneak President Lincoln to Washington

without anyone seeing him.

Yadina: President Lincoln? The President Lincoln?

President Abraham Lincoln?

He's here?? Where, where, where?

Train: (whistle blowing)

Yadina: Ahh, I see his hat.

Hi, Mr. President. Hi...Hi Hi

Not Mr. President. Ha-ha.

Kate: Nope.

You see, I always use what I know to solve a problem.

And I know that anyone looking for Mr. Lincoln

will be searching for his big black hat.

So I used that hat as a decoy.

Something to confuse people.

Brad: So you put him in a different hat to disguise him.

Xavier: Oh, nice move!

Yadina: But where's the real Abe Lincoln?

Kate: I'll never tell.

Train: (blowing whistle)

Brad: That Kate Warne is one sneaky detective.

She also gave me some great Hide and Seek ideas.

Xavier: Berby? Let's go home.

Berby: (bleep blarp bloop)

Brad: ... eight, nine, ten.

Ready or not, here I come.

Okay. Now, I know,

that Berby makes little burr noises,

so if I listen...

Berby: Burr...burr... bleep blarp bloop

Brad: Found you, Berby!

Next up, Yadina,

who I know can't resist a good knock-knock joke.

Berby: Mmm hmm.

Brad: Knock-knock...?

Yadina: Must.

Brad: Now to find Xavier

using the art of disguise...

I knew you'd try to sneak to different a hiding spot.

Brad: Thanks. Turns out, I know a lot about you guys.

Yadina: Now that was a great game of Hide and Seek.

With some particularly good seeking.

Brad: Almost as good as the seeking Kate Warne did

as the very first female detective

in the United States.

Brad: Who used to be a kid, just like you and me.

Yadina: So kids like you can change the world.

It's story time!

Wapow, The Adventures of Bradman and Berby.

And the Banana Mystery. Berby: Wooo.

Brad: The day was hot, too hot.

So Bradman and Berby went for ice cream

But on the way, something mysterious happened.

Someone had taken all of the store's bananas,

but left the peels..

Kids were slipping all over the place.

What could have done such a thing?

Bradman and Berby followed the clues,

and found the evil, Doctor Zoom.

Brad/Berby: (laughter)

Brad: But why would an evil turtle genius

want so many bananas?

Turns out, even super villains like ice cream.

But Dr Zoom had no spoon

Berby: Ooo. Oh!

(bleep blarp bloop)

Overjoyed Dr Zoom shared the banana split with everyone.

Another heroic day for Bradman and Berby!

Xavier: Hi. Welcome to the show.

Yadina: Today we're meeting someone very clever:

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Xavier: He was a doctor.

And he wrote stories about an amazing mystery-solving

detective named Sherlock Holmes.

Yadina: Elementary, my dear Zoom.

Brad: Does this thing work?

Xavier: Hello? Brad: Uaaah!

Yadina: I believe that's a "yes".

Now let's start the show.

(zap)

Xavier: Ugh!

Yadina: Hey, Xavier... what's wrong?

Brad: You feelin' tired, too?

(YAWN) Cause I could really go for a nap.

Xavier: (sigh) If only it were that easy, Brad.

I'm not tired. I just have a gigantic problem.

Massive. Huge.

Yadina/Brad: What is it?

Xavier: This.

Brad: A birthday invitation?

Yadina: Birthday parties are the best!

There's cake, balloons, games, streamers...

Did I say cake? Because there's usually cake!

Xavier: But this party is for a new girl in my class, Harper.

And I have no idea what to get her as a present.

Yadina/Brad: Oooooh. Brad: Ok, got it.

Xavier: What kinda stuff does she like?

Hmm.

Xylophones?

Mustaches??

Parrots? Parrot: (squawk)

Brad: They're a bit.., you know. Yadina: Uhm..

Xavier: (Sighs) See? Big problem.

Yadina: Don't worry, Xavier.

Yadina/Xavier: To The Secret Museum!

Brad: Or maybe a toy store?

Yadina: And where we'll go?

We're getting something.

Brad: A... two-sided hat?

Xavier: Is that what the Secret Museum thinks

I should give Harper?

I mean it's a nice hat and all, but...

Berby: (bleep blarp bloop)

Xavier: Arthur Conan Doyle, that's who we're going to meet.

Yadina: In Scotland. Brad: In .

Over years ago. Berby: Mmm.

Yadina: I wonder if Arthur thinks a hat you can wear

backwards or forwards

will be the perfect birthday present for Harper?

Xavier: There's only one way to find out.

Ready for adventure? Yadina: Sooo ready.

Brad: (yawns)

Sooo-rta ready.

Berby: (bleep blarp bloop)

Yadina: Here we go!

Berby: (bleep blarp)

Brad: It's happening! Yadina: Hang on, Dr Zoom!

Xavier: Wooohooo! Brad: Woaaaah!

Berby: Whoohooo!

(zap) Brad/Yadina/Xavier: Uaah! Upf!

Mrs. Doyle: It was nighttime in the castle

and all was quiet.

So, the brave knight

opened the castle gates...

and heard...

... the roar of a dragon!

Rooooaaar! Kids: Uaaaaaa!

Yadina: Oh, Brad!

Brad: Um, I was just, ah...

Yadina: Surprised? We all were.

Xavier: Except him.

Berby: (bleep blarp bloop)

Yadina: Hey, that's Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Mrs. Doyle: That's all for today.

I'll read more tomorrow.

Xavier: How come you weren't surprised

at the dragon part of the story?

Yadina: Yeah. Did you hear it before?

Arthur: No, it was the first time.

Brad: Could you see the page?

Wait...

Do you have super vision?

Arthur: No. I knew that part was coming

by paying attention to how my mom tells stories.

You can learn a lot by looking and listening.

Xavier: What do you mean?

Arthur: Before an exciting part,

my Mom always leans forward...

And gets really quiet...

And then...

Gets really loud! Brad: Uaaaaah!

Xavier: Hey, I wonder, if Harper likes stories.

Or dragons.

Arthur: Like I said, you can learn a lot

by looking and listening.

Like... what's in that tree?

Brad/Yadina: Uah!

Xavier: That's easy, a bird.

Because birds live in trees. You're welcome.

Arthur: Good guess. But no.

Look.

The branch is moving a lot.

So it must be something heavy.

And look.. a furry tail.

Hmmm, definitely not a bird.

Now listen.

(purrrrrrr-purrrrr)

Yadina: Oooh. Oooh. I know what it is.

Something big, with a long furry tail that purrs...

A cat!

Cat: (meow)

Yadina: Yes! Xavier: Whoa! You were right!

Brad: Ahh-ahh, ahhhh-chooo.

Yup, definitely a cat.

Cat: (meow)

Arthur: (chuckles) See?

You can learn a lot by looking and listening.

Cat: (meow-purrrr)

Xavier: That's super neat, but,

how does it solve my problem?

Unless...(gasps)

can you give someone a cat as a present?

Brad: Aaaah-chooo!

Definitely not. Yadina: Nope!

Xavier: (sighs)

Berby: (blarp)

Xavier: Hey it looks like Berby has a clue of where to go next.

Berby: Yaaaahooo!

Yadina: Whoa.

Where are we?

Brad: Hm. Table, stethoscope,

creepy skeleton...

(gasps)...eeeeh!

We're in a (a-a-a-h-choo)

...doctor's office.

Arthur: Yes. I'm a doctor now.

And it looks like I have a patient...

Brad: It's just my cat a-a-a-chooo.

Xavier: Brad, are you ok?

Brad: Uhmmm...

(blows his nose)

Arthur: Allergies?

Hmmm... I don't think so.

Mmm Hmm!

Hmm...hmmm...

Yes...

Ok...

You're clearly very tired.

Brad: (yawns)

Xavier: Just, how Arthur figured out, you have one.

Just like the main character does in this story I'm writing.

Brad: Like from the Secret Museum.

Arthur: Sherlock is a detective,

who uses his powers of observation,

that's looking and listening,

to solve mysteries.

Like... oh, what's in a tree?

Or, what's wrong with a patient?

Or, what to get your new friend Harper for her birthday?

Yadina: Heeeey, that's just like your problem, Xavier.

Xavier: How did you know?

Arthur: By looking and listening.

I heard you wondering,

if Harper would like stories,

or dragons.

Then, you asked if a cat would make a good present.

It wouldn't. Finally,

you dropped a party invitation for Harper's birthday.

Xavier: So you put that all together..

Arthur: To figure out that you were going to a birthday party

for a girl named Harper,

who you don't know very well,

and therefore

don't know what to get her as a gift.

Brad: You are exactly right, Arthur.

Xavier: Whoa. You really can learn a lot

by looking and listening.

Maybe looking and listening can help me figure out,

what to get Harper for her birthday.
