And that's another thingthat's a lot alike. Our feet.

Apes and monkeysgroom each other to say

"Hey, I like you,let me help you out".

Grooming each other makesthem all feel part of a group

and makes everybody feel good.

Have you ever had yourtoes cleaned by a chimpanzee?

-It's amazing how humans andchimpanzees are so much alike.

-But even thoughwe are so much alike,

do you realize that somepeople, hey what are you doing?

And one way you can tell is bylooking at the faces they make.

Now check out these two chimps.

Whenthey open their mouths wide,you know they are having fun.

That's called the play face.

They all wagtheir tails, jump around andmake a lot of happy sounds.

So it's easyto see that chimps and dogsdefinitely have feelings.

Because in somecreatures, feelings aren'talways that easy to see.

A chameleon is areptile like this iguana,

and sometimes it's hard totell what a reptile is feeling,

but if you look closely,you can see their feelings.

This anole lizardshows his big red throat whenhe is feeling territorial.

-You know, whenyou really think about it,so many of us creatures,

including the monitorlizard, share the same feelings.

-Yeah, we all knowwhat it's like to feel

happy, hungry,tired or even itchy.

-MARTIN, CHRIS, look at Shark,

hey what's the matter,you look different.

Brothers, Shark'scolour has changed.

Well look, he's dark now.

-He was light beforebecause he was calm and happy,

but now, he's dark becausesomething is bothering him.

colour depending ontheir mood, the backgroundor the temperature.
