- Hey, everybody, it's me, Gush,

and I live in Reeftown,

but today I want to tell you about a different

kind of coral reef, an artificial reef.

Normally, coral reefs start by forming

on hard surfaces naturally found in the ocean,

but sometimes, when something big like a ship

falls into the ocean,

coral polyps will fall onto it, and over time,

a whole coral reef will form right on top of it,

just like with the clubhouse.

The world can always use another coral reef!

- Hiya, I'm Bubbles, and I'm a mandarin dragonet.

We dragonets come in a bunch of different amazing colors,

and we love to make close friends.

In fact, we find partners for life,

which is great, because that means we always have someone

to swim and play with on the reef.

And, oh, I almost forgot!

The best part about being a dragonet

is we can secrete a thin layer of slime

all around our bodies to help keep us safe and healthy.

Wow! Talk about yucky!

- Well, hey there, kids, it's Flo here.

Don't you just love the one big ocean?

Me too.

In fact, we hawksbill sea turtles

love the ocean so much we even go on long swims

called migrations

headed back to the very beach

where we were born to lay eggs,

so that new baby hawksbill sea turtles can be born.

Oh, here come baby turtles now!
