Hey. Care for a eucalyptus leaf?

Chocolate covered eucalyptus leaves.

[ eating noisily]

Sorry.

What came over me?

I really shouldn't eat so many.

[ stomach grumbling ]

Okay, stomach, I get it.

[ sighs ]

Have you ever eaten too much of something?

Too much of anything can throw your stomach off balance.

Look at that table.

It's been wobbling like that all morning.

I guess the legs aren't balanced.

Hmm... that plate looks so sad and empty now.

Maybe I better get more leaves-- for everyone else.

Whee!

Hi, Wartz.

Hi, guys.

Wow, that looks like fun.

[ Tse Tse buzzing ]

Oh, I see, my friend.

You are very right.

What did she say? What did she say?

Tse Tse and I agree.

Balance is a very interesting thing.

You need to understand balance.

But... I'm just a little frog.

Ah, well, everything needs balance,

from the littlest creature to the biggest.

Balance is when things are steady

and the forces in and around you are equal.

There can be balance between things--

like balanced weight--

and there is balance in the big, big world,

and balance inside you.

Inside me?

Yes, balance inside you

can make you feel very good and calm.

If you are not in balance, you can be cranky or upset.

Everyone gets cranky now and then--

It's okay.

Even sad?

Yes, even sad is okay

because sometimes we are very happy.

That is why I do Tai Chi.

Would you like to try Tai Chi with me?

Uh, oh... okay.

But I don't know how.

Everyone can do it.

First we go down through the river.

Then we hold a coconut.

Now share it with a friend.

Oh, I love Tai Chi.

Sloths are very good at Tai Chi.

OKO: And again.

Down through the river.

Hold a coconut.

Share it with a friend.

WARTZ: Wow, that's really fun.

Ah, but it is only the beginning.

There is much more to Tai Chi,

but you are young and river and coconut are good for now.

We will have another lesson some other time.

Well, thanks, Oko.

But, uh... how does Tai Chi help me seesaw?

[ Tse Tse buzzing ]

Oh, sorry, little one.

Oko not know answer, but you will find out.

Well, well... I guess your question

threw me off balance.

[ laughs]

WARTZ: Sorry.

No, no, quite all right.

That's what shells are for.

Well, let me start by saying that frogs,

of which you are a very fine specimen,

are very balanced-- very balanced indeed.

WARTZ: Really?

In fact, frogs are some of the most finely balanced

of creatures in the big, big world.

Um... You know you're an amphibian, don't you?

An amphibi-what?

Oh, my, yeah, Wartz.

You're an amphibian.

That's what you are.

So are newts and salamanders.

WARTZ: Salamanders?

But what does it mean to be an amphibian?

Ah, an amphibian is an animal such as yourself,

capable of living on land or water.

Whoa, that takes a lot of balance.

You do well in water and on land.

WARTZ: Wow.

It's amazing to be a frog.

Yes, it is.

But why can't I seesaw with Smooch and Winslow?

Seesaw?

Oh, right.

That's what started this.

I really want to seesaw.

Oh, why can't you, dear?

Because when I get on with Smooch or Winslow, I fly off.
