Look! It's princess pea and her mom and dad.

I'm looking at this picture of my friends.

There's something different about it.

Different?

Don't you see it?

No, I don't see anything different.

I'm different from red, princess pea and you.

You're people and I'm a pig.

That's pretty different.

Well, that's true.

But that's okay, pig.

No, it's not!

I want to be like everyone else, whyatt.

I don't want to be different.

This sounds like a super big problem.

And a super big problem needs us,

The super readers!

We need to call the rest of the super readers!

I'm so different from the kids on land.

They have legs, I have a tail.

I don't want to be different!

I want to be like them.

So, how do we get to land?

Well, I heard that there's a magical treasure chest

Far across the ocean.

Maybe the treasure chest will have something

That can help us get to land.

Cool!

Let's find the treasure chest.

Fish: oo-ooh!

Hey, mermsy!

Want to play hide-and-go-swim?

Aw, sorry.

I can't play right now.

I'm going to find the treasure chest

So I can get to land.

[ Squeaking ]

Oh, okay.

I have no idea where it is!

Let's head that-a-way!

And found the treasure chest.

That tail sure is handy.

Super readers, I see something else

Inside the treasure chest.

[ Gasp ] it's a key!

A cave.

This is a picture of a cave.

Maybe this cave will lead us to land.

We made it to land.

And there are the kids in my picture,

I want to play too.

But I'm so different from them.

I have a tail and they don't.

What if they won't want to play with me?

I have to hide my tail before they see it.

Little mermaid, if you hide your tail,

Then you won't be able to play with the kids.

But that's what I do in my story.

See? I have to hide it.

Oh my chinny- chin-chin!

We need to do something.

Super why to the rescue!

With the power to read,

I can change this story and save the day!

You know, actually, I do.

I have a big strong tail

And I can do fabulous flips.

[ Laughter ] wow!

And that makes me really happy.

Even though I'm different,

I'm proud to be a mermaid.

I have hands and legs

And I can spin!

[ Giggle ] and I'm proud to be a kid!

[ Chuckle ]

Hey, maybe we can be friends,

Even though we're so different?

Absolutely!

Wow, nice kick!

[ ♪♪ ]
