I have a terrible... A-a-a-achooo...

I've been sneezing all day long.

That's no fun.

So I started reading this really cool comic book...

[ Moan ] thanks.

[ Sigh ] but I just finished it,

And I don't have any more comic books to read.

[ Blowing nose ]

Oh-h.

Hey, I've got an idea!

I'll be back soon.

I'm going to make jack another comic book!

Hmm, I don't know what to draw.

[ Sigh ] I don't even know where to start.

This is a super big problem.

And a super big problem needs us...

The super readers!

We need to call the rest of the super readers!

But I don't know what it should be about.

Oh no! That's a problem.

How can I figure out what to draw?

Good question, whyatt.

When we have a question, we look...

Peas and carrots, carrots and peas.

Book come out, please, please, please!

Let's read the title of this book.

We know what to do.

We need to jump into this book...

And find the answer to my question.

Just like I don't know what to draw for jack!

And that, super readers,

Is why we are in this book.

We both don't know what to draw.

We need to talk to that boy.

Let's roll!

[ ♪♪ ]

[ Giggles ]

Hi. We're the super readers,

And we want to talk to you.

Maybe we can help you figure out what to draw.

Really? That would be great!

'Cause I don't even know where to start.

Hmm.

Well, first you need something to draw with.

Where are all of your art supplies?

Over here...

In this closet.

But i... [ Grunting ]

Can't... Reach what I need.

How will get my art supplies

So I can make my picture?

[ ♪♪ ]

Alpha pig, to the rescue!

With my lucky letter lasso,

I can get the art supplies you need.

You'll help me, right?

Phew!

First we need something

That begins with the letter "p".

Which one of these things starts with "p"?

Children: paper!

Alpha pig: paper starts with "p"!

Here's the paper you need.

Now, what do you see that begins with "m"?

Children: markers!

Alpha pig: markers begin with the letter "m".

And here are some markers for you.

We used our alphabet

To help get the boy his art supplies.

And now he can draw his picture.

He's kind of scary.

I don't want to draw anything scary.

But I don't know what else to draw.

The goblin's back!

[ Gasps/wails ]

[ Chittering ] ahhhh!

Oh, my chinny- chin-chin!

We've got to get that scary goblin out of here!

[ Meowing ]

Maybe the cats can frighten the goblin away.

Okay, cats, meow as loud as you can.

[ Loud meowing ]

That didn't scare the goblin away.

The cats aren't scary enough.

Draw something else! Draw something else!

What about something big...

And green and...

Scary!

Oh no!

This isn't going to work.

I have to draw cats!

See? It says so in my story!

[ Chittering ] [ gasps ]

How will I get rid of the goblin now?

[ ♪♪ ]

Super why to the rescue!

With the power to read,

I can change this story and save the day!

[ ♪♪ ]

Let's change the word...

"Cats" in this sentence.

Maybe "dragons".

I drew dragons and they came alive.

We changed the story and helped the boy scare away the goblin.

Is... Is the goblin gone?

Yup!

[ Meowing ]

Now, I just need one last favour.

Dragons, cats,

Can you go back into my picture?

I have to finish my drawing for the emperor!

[ Meowing ]

Hmm, okay.

A few more lines, um...

And a square on the bottom...

Uh, then connect the lines together...

There!

Hey! I doodled and made this shape into a throne.

Let me try doodling some more.

Doodling is giving me lots of ideas.

Ta-dah! My picture is done.

The emperor is coming!

Well, at first I wasn't even sure what to draw.

But I just started to doodle,

And my doodles turned into a picture.

Hey, I think I have an idea.

I'll call it...

"att*ck of the mean sick monster!"

[ ♪♪ ]

Jack is captured by the mean sick monster,

Who gives him a terrible cold.

But jack knows what to do.

Jack sneaks up to the sick monster...

Mm... With orange juice!

The sick monster is scared of orange juice!

[ Roaring ] "aaah, orange juice!"

The sick monster ran away,

And jack feels all better.

I'm finished with my comic book!

[ ♪♪ ]

Here you go, jack. [ Moan ]
