- Just take a look at this fierce creature!

Now who knows what else the lion is called?

- Oh, I know!

The king of the jungle!

- That's right, Bali.

And when he roars... Raar!

It can be heard for miles and miles around.

[ Roaring ]

- Ah!

- Bali, he scares--

- No, no! There!

Look down there!

- Aw, come on, Lou. It's only a spider.

You scared of a little spider? I'm not.

Watch me.

- No, Bali!

- [All]: Oh!

We must never harm little bugs

if they can't harm us.

- But spiders are creepy!

- You just need to learn about them. They're clever.

For example, they can build huge, complicated webs

to catch flies.

- Ha ha!

Well, hello there, you little spider!

You look pretty cool.

- All creatures are interesting, Bali.

Now I've got a little surprise for all of you.

- [All]: Cool!

Wow!

- Well, I bought you all disposable cameras.

One between two.

Now this weekend you'll work in teams of two

and go out with your parents

to take pictures of the animals you see in your neighbourhood.

- [All]: Wow, that's great!

- We'll be explorers!

- Exactly, Bali!

And on Monday, we'll display all of your pictures on the wall.

So here you are, OK?

- [All]: Oh wow, that's cool!

- I want to team up with Bali.

- OK.

- I'm working with Charlie. - That's cool.

- [All]: Hooray!

- Say cheese, Spotty!

He's facing the wrong way!

- He's turning!

- Got him!

- Good job!

Now we have to go to Tito's and get his hamster's photo.

- Sure!

Then we'll go over to Madame Olga's

and take a picture of her little birdie.

But that means we'll only have pictures all together.

It's not a lot, is it? - You're right.

It's too bad we don't know anybody who has a lion.

That would make a great picture!

- Hey, wait a minute! We can pretend!

And I know how! Come on!

It's in here somewhere.

Got it!

Look, with this mask

I look just like a lion, don't I?

Raar!

- Ha ha!

- Oh, my dad just came back.

Ha ha! I'm going to scare him!

Good, you take a picture.

- Hee hee! OK!

- Raar!

I'm a big, hungry lion!

Raar!

- Oh no!

Oh, please don't eat me, Mr. Lion!

Ah!

- [Both]: Ha ha!

- Why are you dressed as a lion, Bali?

- It's for school!

We have to take in pictures of animals.

- But I think that Miss Chang was talking about real animals.

Not just kids dressed up.

- I know that. But there aren't many animals here.

- We could always go to the zoo.

There are lots of animals there.

Lions, elephants, even penguins!

- Wow! Penguins, huh?

Will you, Dad? Will you take us to the zoo?

Will you please, Dad?

- Sorry kids, but the zoo's too far away from here.

- Oh, I knew it!

- But there are other ways. We don't have to go to the zoo.

There are so many animals right out here.

The only trick is in finding them.

Hey, how about after our snack,

we all go for a walk in the park and I show you both.

- [Kids]: Oh yeah! Great!

- Your snack's ready, you guys!

- Yippee! - Yippee!

Hee hee!

- Oh, we looked everywhere, you know?

And we haven't found a thing.

- What do we do now?

- Um...

Oh wow, a swing! Super cool!

Whoa!

- Ha ha!

Well, hello there! And what's your name?

- Oh, well hello yourself.

My name is Bali. What's yours?

Me? I'm Bloub!

- Uh, Bloub, you were that swing there?

- Ha ha! Yeah!

See, I have the power to transform into whatever I want.

Ha ha!

- Wow!

- Well Bali, what about playing a little game?

- Oh yeah! What game though?

- Hide and seek!

- Yeah, that's one of my favourite games!

I'll count to , OK?

- Yes, Bali! Ha ha!

- One... Two...

Three...

Four...

Five...

Six...

Seven...

Eight...

Nine... Ten!

Oh, where is he?

I can't see him anywhere!

No, no. I'm not behind there either!

But you still could have found me

if you had been a little more observant

and taken your time to really look about!

What do you say we try again?

And this time, look all around you! Ha ha!
