Papá's on the phone.

[whispering]: Follow, follow, follow.

Ha, I can't wait. It's going to be such a fun surprise!

A surprise? I love surprises!

And now there's gonna be one right here!

[giggling]

I wonder what the fun surprise will be.

I've gotta know.

[giggling]

♪ And I just can't let it go

What could the fun surprise be?

[Papá chuckles]

So the surprise is for a sister!

[gasps]

What if it's a coolamadoodle sister surprise party?!

But who's the sister?

[giggles] You're not a sister, Iggy.

You're my little brother.

[meowing]

You are not a sister either.

You're a cutie ball cat.

We need to think.

[meowing]

[Rosie]: Thinking...

Thinking... Oof!

-Whoa! -[meowing]

Sorry, Crystal.

Rosie's Rule: When you're thinking,

be careful, or you might bump into your big sister.

[gasps] Sister!

Crystal. You are my sister!

So maybe the surprise is for you!

Well... I can't really tell you.

We need to go get ready!

Hmm...

You look wow-mazing! Oh, wait!

Wait a second. Poofy dress,

decorations, celebratory party hat...

[gasps] Am I having a surprise party?!

Well, you're right! It's a sister surprise party!

Let's decorate!

I do like decorating for parties.

Especially my own.

[meowing]

[distant laughter]

[Rosie]: It's Tía and Javi!

They must be here for the surprise party.

[excited squealing] Oh my goodness, I can't wait.

I'm so excited!

And we need to find a hiding spot!

Oof! [giggles]

[meowing]

Perfect!

[door opening]

Me encanta. So exciting.

Huh? What about Crystal?

Surprise to me!

Huh?

Well, this is awkward.

I don't get it!

Papá said it was a sister surprise.

Maybe the party's for another sister.

Well, where am I gonna find another sister?

Now I really can't wait for the surprise party,

Maybe the party isn't for me either.

But who is it for?

[gasps] I need to call Abuela!

[beeps]

I'm at the eye doctor getting my new reading glasses.

What do you think? [laughing]

i¡Muy bonitos!

Gracias! ¿Qué pasa?

We're having a sister surprise,

but it's not for Crystal, and it's not for me,

and there are no more sisters in the family!

You know, Rosalía,

there are more sisters in the family.

-[door opening] -[gasps]

The doctor is ready to see me.

i¡Adiós, granito de arroz!

[Rosie]: i¡Ciao, bacalao!

[beeps]

[Javi]: Prima?

Why are you wearing that poofy dress?

[sighs]

Because I thought there was a sister surprise party for me,

but there's not! It's for another sister,

and we gotta find her fast!

I really don't.

But I'll still try to help.

[gasps] I love your dress, Rosie!

Oh, it reminds me of my dress

Whoa! What are all these decorations for?

Isn't that the poofy dress Rosie was wearing?

[Rosie]: Because of the sister surprise!

Sister surprise?

Marco Margarita, what's going on?

[speaking Spanish]

Come in the back door with the cake!

-Now she knows! -[doorbell rings]

-[gasps] -The doorbell!

Uh, maybe you should get it, cielo?

I had no idea you were coming!

That's why it was a surprise.

[Rosie]: But Papá,

you said it was a sister surprise.

Uncle Steve isn't a sister.

Well, that's new information!

But how can you be a sister?

Because people can be more than one thing in a family.

[giggles]

And a super awesome niece.

And the best cousin.

[gasps]

Now that we know what the sister surprise is...

-[Tía]: Good idea! -[Papá]: Okay!

Okay! Come in!

[together]: Surprise!

[gasps] What?! Ah, you guys!

Did not see that coming.

[Mom]: I am so surprised!

[Mom laughing]

Now that was a good surprise!

Oh, now I get it!

[giggles]

Rosie's Rule:

You can be more than one thing in your family.

I'm a sister, a prima,

and a surprise party planner!

[others cheering]

[meowing]

Rosie's Twin Day!

[giggles, gasps]

Okay, Iggy, now we are going to jump over

the great big roaring river.

Ready?

Jump! Oof!

Ta-da!

Oh! [laughing]

Your turn, Iggy.

[grunting]

Uh-oh...

Iggy in wiver...

We can splash in the river together.

[both]: Splash, splash, splash!

Hey! I want to splash too!

-[children giggle] -Splash, splash, splash!

Rosie's Rule:

When you're splashing in a pretend river,

even your Papá will join in.

-[giggles] -Splash, splash, splash!

[Rosie gasps]

i¡Miren! There's Jun.

Hi, Jun!

Ooh, I like your clothes.

Thanks, it's my tennis outfit!

I have practice today.

I'm just waiting for my tennis partner.

Who's your tennis partner?

Woo-hoo, it's tennis time!

Oh, Quinn's your partner 'cause he's your twin!

Well, mostly because we both like tennis.

But we do have twin tennis outfits.

And twin water bottles!

That's supertastical!

And we have a twin tennis warm up routine!

[both]: Reach up high then touch the ground,

grab your hands, twirl upside down!

Whoa!

[whistle blowing]

[Jun]: Oh! There's coach Singh.

Come on Quinn, practice is starting.

[both]: Catch ya later! Bye!

[giggling]

They even have twin goodbyes?

Wow-mazing!

And they had twin tennis outfits,

and twin water bottles, and even a twin warmup!

Can you believe it?

[meowing]

It went like this!

Reach up high, then touch the ground,

grab your hands, twirl upside-- whoa!

[sighs] It would be way easier with a twin Rosie.

[meowing]

[sighs]

I wish I could be a twin like Jun and Quinn.

[gasps] Maybe I can be!

I can find a twin,

and then we can do all of those coolamadoodle twin things!

[meowing]

[Rosie]: Now what kind of things would I do with my twin?

I've gotta know!

A twin needs to be a brother or sister. Hmm...

Crystal can be my twin!

i¡Ay! ¿Qué pasa, calabaza?

Nada, empanada. I'm going to find a twin!

Muy bien.

-Hi, Crystal! -Rosie, check it out.

I'm doing a tie-dye project.

Then I'm going to do that too!

You really need a twin for a twin warm up routine.

[giggles] Okay, Rosie.

But first, I need to finish my tie-dye t-shirt.

And my matching tie-dye shorts, socks,

oh, and headband.

How long will that take?

Hmm... a few hours.

A few hours?!

I can't wait that long to be a twin!

Sorry, Rosie. You can't rush tie-dye.

[sighs] I guess I need to find

someone else to be my twin.

[meowing]

[giggles] Not you, Gatita!

[gasps] Look how high up we are!

[gasps] Nice!

Whoa, the cars look like toys from up there!

[Abuela laughing]

Sí. ¿Qué pasa?

I really wanna be a twin like Jun and Quinn.

But I can't find anybody to be a twin with!

-[meowing] -Hmm...

[gasps] Abuela!

Maybe you can be my twin!

I wish I could, Rosalía.

But twins are the same age,

and we are not the same age.

Although I am young at heart.

[gasps] I know someone who's the same age as me.

Gotta go, Abuela!

[doorbell ringing]

What's up?

What's up is we're gonna be twins!

But we are not brother and sister.

But we are primos!

We're the same age,

and we like all the same things!

[both]: Huzzah!

[giggles]

And doing our hooray dance!

[both]: Elbow bump, silly jump!

It's gonna be supertastical being twins.

the same... forever--

Uh, Rosie?

The thing is, I have to go to soccer practice.

What?! But didn't you hear my song?

We're gonna be twins

and do everything the same forever!

Also, I kind of like being an only child.

It's fun with Mamá and me.

i¡Vámonos, mijo! Time for soccer.

I tried to be twins with Crystal,

and Iggy, and Javi,

and even Abuela!

But no one can be my twin and--

I guess you're gonna do more fun

twin stuff together now, huh?

I like looking at roly polies with my magnifying glass.

And I like to climb trees and zoom on my scooter!

We might be twins, but we're two different kids!

Even if we do sometimes finish...

...each other's sentences!

[giggles]

My tie-dye outfit is complete!

That's wow-mazing, Crystal!

Can you teach me how to do that?

Of course I can!

That's one of the best things about being a big sister!

running away from the Rosie-saurus!

Today's story is Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

[Mom]: Once upon a time,

Goldilocks was skipping through the woods

when she smelled something delicious

coming from a cottage.

[sniffing]

It was porridge.

Goldilocks tasted the first bowl of porridge.

Yowza!

This porridge is too hot!

But...

All it needs is some cold milk.

[Goldilocks]: And a happy face made of blueberries!

Ahh... perfect.

Huh? That's not what the story says!

Moving on...

Next, Goldilocks saw three chairs.

[Mom]: She sat in the first chair and said...

This chair is too hard!

And you know what? This room has no... pizazz!

Pizazz?

Much better!

Anyway...

[Mom]: Just then, the three bears came home.

We're home!

Hey, this lava lamp is really cool!

Thank you!

Thank you? Okay, this isn't right.

Goldilocks is supposed to run away because she's scared!

Scared? Of these cuties? Never!

[Papá]: Anyone hungry for dinner? I made enchiladas!

-Yes! -Me, me, me!

Enchiladas? I'm in!
