- I can't wait for the robot picnic to start, Mamá!

- Yeah, it's my favorite picnic in the whole entire world!

- Mine too!

Beep, boop, beep! [kids laughing]

Are you sure everything is ready, Margarita?

- Of course! I've hosted this picnic so many times

I never forget a thing.

Ay , I forgot something!

I still need to make decorations for the tables!

- We can do it, Tía .

- Sí Mamá! Rosie and I will make something awesome.

And robot-y.

[both]: Beep boop beep, beep boop beep, boop.

- But what should we make?

I've gotta know!

[light music]

♪ I have a great big question And I just can't let it go ♪

How can we decorate the tables? Maybe...

♪ We can build a tiny purple pyramid ♪

♪ Or a sculpture of a mini baby squid ♪

- Singing flowers... [exclaims]

We can make flower decorations for the tables.

- Buena idea!

And put them in... beep boop beep!

Robot flowerpots!

- Oh! I have some flowerpots at home we can use.

- Such a creative idea!

Oh! But there are eight tables.

Can you make eight flowerpots in time for the picnic?

- i¡Claro que sí! We can do it, Tía!

- Who's ready to make robot flowerpots? I am!

Beep boop beep! - Boop! Beep boop beep!

♪ Pour some dirt into the pot

♪ Nestle the flower in its spot ♪

♪ Pour the water, a little, not a lot ♪

There you go, kids! Rosie and Javi,

one more flower for our robot flowerpot!

Beep boop beep! - Thanks, Mom!

- Hmm...

- Let's decorate!

- Foil here.

- Antenna there.

- Googly eyes here.

[both]: Stickers everywhere!

- Ta-dah!

- Beep boop beep! I'm a robot flowerpot!

[giggling]

- We just need to make one, two, three... four more!

[Javi]: Then we can take them to the robot picnic!

♪ Oh yeah Only four More flower pots to make ♪

[Mom]: Oh... dear.

- What's wrong, Aunt Liz?

- Looks like we might not have enough flowerpots.

- How many do we have left?

- Well... none.

- Uh-oh! - No more flowerpots?

But we need them for Tía's robot picnic and...

I need to fl... wait!

Rosie's rule!

Sometimes, it's just too early to flop!

There must be a something we can do.

- Hmm. Uh, actually, there is!

We can repurpose something.

- Yes! We can repurpose!

- Repurpose!

- Do you know what repurpose means?

- I really don't.

- Repurposing is when you take something

that's not being used anymore

and turn it into something new.

See this plastic bottle? We already used it,

because we drank all the water, glug glug glug.

[chuckling]

So now we can repurpose it into...

[humming]

Ta-dah!

- Mama Macaroni!

You turned a bottle into a flowerpot!

Ven Javi, we need to find more bottles

to make more robot flower pots.

[laughing]

- Chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo! - Hmm?

- Iggy? Have you seen any bottles?

- Yes!

No. - How about you, Gatita?

[meowing]

[humming]

- Ah-ha!

Crystal we need your help.

- Hang on, Rosie, I'm making a bird feeder...

The paint is dry, now I just need to pour the bird seeds.

[gasps] - A bottle!

Crystal, can we use that when you're done?

- Uh-huh.

Done! Here you go!

- Javi, we have another bottle to make a flower pot.

- Que padre! - Beep, boop, beep.

That means thank you in robot.

[both]: Beep! Boop! Beep! [Crystal laughs.]

- Listo!

[Javi]: Look! We only need one, two more flower pots!

- That means we need two more empty bottles.

[meowing]

- Looks like we found another one!

- Gatita? [meowing]

[meowing] [kids laughing]

- i¡Ven aquí!

[meowing] - Gatita!

[panting] Where'd she go?

Rosie's Rule: Sometimes you have to chase your kitty cat

all over the house to get a crinkly bottle!

Hmm...

[gasps]

[meowing]

i¡Gracias, Gatita!

[meowing]

We only need one more plastic bottle.

- Uh-oh, but I don't see any more!

- Oh, me neither!

I need to fl... Wait!

Still too early to flop!

We need to call Abuela.

[ding!]

[both]: i¡Hola, Abuela! - i¡Hola, mis niños!

I'm going on a hike in the Izta Popo Park with Vero and Lili.

- i¡Hola chiquilines! - Hola.

¿Qué pasa?

- We are making robot flower pots

for the robot picnic.

[Iggy]: Beep boop beep!

- But we can't find any more plastic bottles to repurpose!

- Ay, ya veo. Miren niños.

You can repurpose with lots of things besides plastic bottles!

I repurposed this yogurt container,

with some hiking snacks.

[chuckling]

Oh, time to hit the trails!

i¡Adiós, granitos de arroz!

[both]: i¡Ciao bacalao!

- Come on, Javi, let's go find something else to repurpose!

- Okay, kids! Tía called to say the picnic is starting!

Let's get these robot flowerpots to the park! Beep boop beep!

[sighs]

- We still need to find one more thing to repurpose

and now the picnic is starting

and now it's really time to flop.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out!

i¡Vamos a ver! We're almost ready, Mom!

Hmm...

- ¿Qué pasa calabazas? - Nada empanada.

Just looking for something.

- Well, that's the last of the milk.

Into the recycling bin, milk carton!

[both]: Milk carton?

- Papa! Freeze!

- Ah!

- Can we please have that?

- Aquí tienen. - Gracias.

You can unfreeze, now! - Phew!

[Rosie]: We have our last flowerpot!

But we need to hurry. The robot picnic is starting!

- Too bad we don't have actual robots to help us.

[meowing] - Boop, beep, boop!

- We do have robots!

[chuckling]

- Googly eyes here, pipe cleaners there...

- Sticker everywhere! [meowing]

[giggling]

[meowing] [Iggy giggling]

- And... done!

Good job, robots!

[all]: Beep, boop, beep! [laughing]

- Five, beep, boop.

- Six, beep, boop.

- Seven... beep, boop.

[Javi]: Eight!

- Eight robot flowerpots!

- i¡Increíble, niños! i¡Qué creativos!

- Gracias, Tía. We found different things to repurpose

and made them all into robot flowerpots!

- And just in time for the picnic to begin!

♪ When I find a jar with no more peanut butter ♪

♪ I can wash it out now it's a vase for my mother ♪

Create something new! That's what I'll do!

- It was a milk carton, Papa, but now it's a robot flower pot.

Rosie's rule:

before you throw something away,

you can repurpose it and make something new.

- Iggy wobot! Beep boop beep!

- Beep boop beep!

[laughing] [both]: Beep, boop, beep...!

Rosie's Car Wash!

- Wheee! - Zoom! Zoom!

[laughing]

[barking] Gatita meowing]

- Look at us, Mamá! [Tía]: Good job, kids.

I'll watch you some more after I walk Benito.

[Mom]: Have a good walk, Benito!

- i¡Adiós Mamá! - Bye Tía

- Wosie...

- Whoa, watch out! - Wosie!

- Whoo! [laughing]

- Wosie!

- Yes, Iggy?

- Iggy wanna ride bike too.

- Lo siento, Iggy Wiggy. But you don't have a bike to ride.

- Awww. - You know,

it's true we don't have a bike for Iggy...

But we do have... a car!

- A car?!

Mom, Iggy's too little to drive a car!

- Way too little!

- Not a real car...

A kiddy car!

- For Iggy?

- For Iggy!

- Wait a sec-a-madoodle. That's my car.

- Aww, you're too big for this car now, Rosie Posie.

- I'm not too big! Look...

[grunting]

Okay, maybe I'm too big.

Rosie's Rule:

Sometimes, you think you can fit in your old kiddie car,

but... you can't.

A little help, please?

[grunting]

Todo tuyo , Iggy! Your brand new...

[gasp] ...very dirty car.

[Mom]: Oh dear. Ah...

This could use some cleaning up before Iggy rides in it.

- We can clean it! - Yeah!

We'll get his car so sparkly.

- Iggy sure is lucky to have a sister

and cousin like you two.

- Iggy lucky!

[meowing] [laughing]

- Now how will we get Iggy's car clean?

I've gotta know!

♪ I have a great big question

♪ And I just can't let it go

How do we get Iggy's car nice and clean?

Maybe...

♪ An elephant squirts water from its trunk ♪

♪ Then add some soapy suds from a ballerina skunk ♪

♪ A hundred white bunnies will stand in a line ♪

♪ And wiggle their tails to make it all shine ♪

[trumpeting]

Wiggly bunny tail.

[gasps]

Javi!

We can make... a car wash!

- i¡Sí, qué padre! A car wash!

- Cah wash! [meowing]

- Rosie and Javi's Car Wash is open!

Car... get ready to get clean!

♪ Oh yeah, we're washing Iggy's car, with the hose ♪

- Huh? - Huh? What happened?

- Well, I turned the hose off. - What?!

But didn't you see us dancing? And see us washing?

[meowing]

- Here's the thing, kids.

The hose sprays a lot of water at once,

and that means you'll probably waste some of it.

- Oh. We don't want to waste water.

[meowing]

- No, we don't.

Not wasting water is one way we can help

take care of our planet.

- But if we can't use the hose,

how will we wash Iggy's car?

- I had a feeling you were going to ask that. So...

voila!

- A... bucket? - Yup!

I'll fill this bucket with water

and you can use that to wash the car.

That way you only use the water you need

and you won't waste it.

- It's genius!

- Well, she is Mom.

[meowing] [Mom]: All set.

Happy car-washing!

- Wash wash wash! [giggling]

♪ Wash wash wash, that's our soapy routine ♪

♪ Scrub scrub scrub till it's sparkly clean ♪

- Hi, Javi and Rosie, what are you guys doing?

- We're having a car wash!

- Here's the car. Here's us washing it!

- Ooh! Does your car wash clean scooters?

We just got back from the park and mine's pretty dirty.

- Yes! We wash all kinds of rolly wheely things!

Cars. Scooters. - Woohoo!

- We wash roller skates too!

- Thanks but my spectacular sparkly roller skates

don't need washing.

- Jump, jump, jump!

- Or... maybe they do.

You got yourself another customer!

- i¡OÓrale! Now it's a car-scooter-roller-skate wash!

- Don't forget about my robot dino!

- Robot dino?

- I left it outside last night in the mud

and now it's pretty slimy.

- Now it's a car- scooter-skates-robot-dino wash!

- Let's get washing! [cheering]

- Uh, Rosie? Tenemos un problema.

No more water!

[gasps] - How are we gonna have

a car-scooter-skates-robot-dino wash with no more water?!

I need to call abuela. [ding!]

- Hmm! [Rosie]: i¡Hola, abuela!

- i¡Hola mi niña! I'm just finishing up my breakfast.

Fruit and eggs. ¿Qué pasa?

We're making a car- scooter-skates-robot-dino wash.

But we don't have any more water to use!

[meowing]

- Ah ya veo. Mira, Rosalía.

Maybe you can reuse water you already have.

- Reuse water? [meowing]

- i¡Así es!

I used this water earlier to boil my eggs.

And now that the water is cool...

I'll reuse it to water my plant!

i¡Bebe plantita! Gulp, gulp! [laughing]

i¡Adiós granitos de arroz!

- i¡Ciao bacalao!

Vamos Gatita. We're on a mission to find water to reuse!

[humming]

i¡Hola! Anyone boiling eggs in here?

Mmm...

[father hums] [Gatita meows]

- i¡Nada empanada! But guess what?

I need water to reuse for our

car-scooter-skates-robot-dino wash.

And you have water!

- Uh, sí. I was using this water to make lemonade.

But I'm not using the rest.

- So can I reuse it? - i¡Por supuesto!

i¡Gracias, Papá!

[meowing] [laughing]

[Crystal laughs.]

- Be right there with fresh water, Dragon!

That should do it.

[hums] - Ah-ha!

We can reuse this water too! [meowing]

- A bit more water here. All done!

[hums]

- Ah-ha! More water to reuse!

[grunts with effort]

Come on... [meowing]

Ta-dah!

- Whoa, where'd all that water come from?

- Lemonade pitcher... swirly cup...

and... water bowl.

- Good job, Prima! - i¡Gracias!

Rosie and Javi's car- scooter-skates-robot-dino wash

is back in business!

- Alright! [cheering]

♪ Wash wash wash that's our soapy routine ♪

♪ Scrub scrub scrub till it's sparkly clean ♪

- Seriously? My skates have never looked this clean.

The sparkles have sparkles!

- My scooter's so shiny I can see myself!

Hi, Jun! [laughing]

- Robot dino is very happy to be clean.

Thank you Rosie and Javi! Roar!

[ Tía]: i¡Hola a todos!

Benito wanted to say hello to everyone!

[barking]

[gasping]

- Dat not good.

- Ay , Benito!

Whoa! Lo siento, niños.

- I'm all muddy! - Me, too!

- I cannot roller skate like this!

- Argh!

I finally cleaned all of the ridey wheely things,

but now we're all muddy,

and... I need to flop.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out.

Vamos a ver.

[father hums]

- Aguas , everyone,

I'm turning on the sprinkler for a little while

to water the grass! So stand back

unless you want to get splashed.

- Splashed? Everyone, I have an idea!

[laughing]

- Woohoo!

[laughing and cheering]

- Cheddar cheese Louise, what's all this?!

- We made a car wash by reusing water.

And now we're using Papá's sprinkler to have a kid wash!

- Where is Marco?

- Whee! [laughing]

i¡EÉpale!

[cheering, laughing]

♪ Save water to reuse in another way ♪

♪ Fill up the pool come on let's play ♪

♪ Then we'll give Benito a bath and say ♪

♪ Reuse it in a whole new way ♪

♪ There's a rain barrel in our backyard ♪

♪ It holds the rain so I can use it tomorrow ♪

♪ The bucket in the shower it fills up fast ♪

♪ I take it downstairs and water the plants ♪

- Water those plants!

♪ It helps make the world a better place to play ♪

♪ It's easy to do and we can do it today ♪

[all]: Hey!

Rosie's Rule:

you can reuse water for lots of things.

Like washing your brother's brand new car!

[horn tooting]

- Who's ready for some crispy, crunchy, munchy tostadas?

[cheering]

Ah, ah, ah! Espere, niños.

Before you take a bite, I must show you how to eat a tostada.

- Marco, we already know how to eat tostadas.

- Cierto , but eating tostadas can be very messy.

One bite and splat! Tostada bits everywhere!

The best way to eat a tostada is like this...

[crunching]

- Hmm...

How's that? - Perfecto.

That is excellent tostada eating!

- My turn! [drum roll]

[crunching]

- i¡Muy bien, campeona!

- Iggy turn!

- Okay, Iggy... you must be very careful!

- Iggy very careful!

Aaah...!

[gasping]

[crunching]

[cheering]

i¡OÓrale! Iggy!

[Iggy laughs]

- Whoa. Well...

All of you are fuentastic tostada eaters!

I guess I was worried for nothing.

Let's eat! Buen provecho.

[crunching] Hmm! Oops...

[laughing]

I guess the one who had to learn

how to eat a tostada was me!
