[struggling grunts]

Whoa! Ugh...

Is it time for the picnic to start, Papá?

Todavía no, mija. We're still getting ready.

Mom's making a tomato salad.

I'm making a fruit salad.

And Iggy's making...

It mud salad!

[giggling]

Rosie's Rule:

Little brothers make supertastical mud salads!

Hmm... Hey!

Where are Javi and Tía?

Oh, they went to the grocery store

to buy some things for the picnic.

[gasps]

Is Tía making her watermelon monster?

With watermelon eyes and great big watermelon teeth?

Rawr!

Of course!

Tía's watermelon monster is the best part

of the Fuentes Family picnic.

And the deeyummiest!

Here they come now!

[Rosie]: Hola, Javi.

i¡Hola familia!

We got lots of yummy food for the picnic.

Even the watermelon?

i¡Claro! How else will I make my watermelon monster?

Rawr!

[giggling]

Hmm...

Primo? Do you see a watermelon?

Hmm...

I really don't.

Mamá, the watermelon's not here.

What do you mean, it should be right here in the--

[gasps] Ay no.

I forgot to buy the watermelon!

- What?! - Oh no!

It's the best part of the picnic!

Actually, I think we have a watermelon at our house.

You can use that for your watermelon monster.

We just need someone to get it.

[Rosie]: I'll get the watermelon!

Hola, Gatita!

Have you seen a watermelon?

Do you know what a watermelon is?

Whoa. That's a ginormous watermelon.

Super duper ginormous!

Hmm... How are we gonna get it all the way back to the picnic?

How are we gonna get this giant watermelon

to the picnic? Maybe...

♪ We can send it through the sky on a flying chair ♪

♪ Or jump on a seesaw and bounce it into the air ♪

♪ A group of hormigas can make a long chain ♪

♪ And carry it just like a choo-choo train ♪♪

[train horn blowing]

That would be supertastical...

Javi? We're gonna have to carry it.

[struggling grunts]

[grunting]

I think we're almost there!

We're still in the kitchen.

[both]: Phew.

This watermelon is way too heavy

to carry all the way to the picnic.

But then how will we get it there?

[meowing]

[startled meow]

[gasps] Great idea, Gatita!

[confused meow]

We can roll it!

Watermelons are very rolly.

¿Lista? Roll!

[Rosie and Javi]: Rolly!

[meowing]

Uh-oh! A little too rolly!

Rosie's Rule: If you're rolling a watermelon...

make sure it doesn't roll away!

Look out, Gatita!

[meowing]

[both]: Phew.

I don't think rolling the watermelon will work.

Nope. But what do we do now?

[both]: Hmm...

[both gasp] We need to call Abuela!

[bright music]

[chiming]

[Rosie]: i¡Hola Abuela!

Abuela? Is that a chicken?

i¡Sí mi niña! I just bought this at el tianguis

and I'm bringing it home to put it in my yard. ¿Qué pasa?

Javi and I need to take this ginormous watermelon

to the park.

But we can't figure out how to get it there!

Ay, ya veo.

It sounds like you need transportation!

Transportation? For a watermelon?

I thought transportation was for people!

It is! But transportation can also move goods

and other things from one place to another.

In fact...

I'm using this cart to move the chicken!

Uy! The road is wobbly.

i¡Adiós, granitos de arroz!

[both]: i¡Ciao bacalao!

We need to find transportation for our watermelon.

I've got it!

[Javi]: Ta-da!

A skateboard?

i¡Así es! It's flat and wide,

and rolly, but not too rolly.

It's got everything we need!

Everything but sides!

How will the watermelon stay on?

Mama Macaroni! Let's do it.

[grunting]

[grunting]

Picnic, i¡allá vamos!

Whatchya doing?

Oh, we're just using the skateboard

to move the watermelon to the picnic.

It's our transportation.

Got it.

Anyway, I brought Iggy home

to wash the mud off his hands.

And get dinos!

[gasps]

[Iggy]: Oops!

Got it, Iggy!

We got it.

Gracias.

Uh-oh.

- Gah! - Ay! No!

[Rosie]: Stop! [Crystal]: Oh no!

Ooh, yeah!

That was a good block!

Well, I am .

But you might need

a different kind of transportation,

so the watermelon doesn't fall off so easily.

[sighs] I just wanted to help Tía

and bring the watermelon to the picnic,

but it keeps rolling away, and...

I need to flop.

Breathe in... [inhaling]

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out.

i¡Vamos a ver!

Hmm... The watermelon needs transportation

that has sides so it doesn't fall off. Like...

[Rosie]: A wagon!

i¡Sí! A wagon has sides

so the watermelon won't fall off!

But it for dinos!

How if the dino stuffies ride in the wagon

with the watermelon?

And Lote?

And Lote.

[gasps]

And pinecone?

[Rosie and Javi]: And pinecone.

[giggling]

Almost there!

I see the picnic!

Oh yeah, over there!

i¡Hola everyone!

Watermelon delivery!

Ah! [chuckles]

Looks like a dino and Lote delivery too!

And pinecone!

Muchas gracias, niños.

[grunts] Now I can make

my watermelon monster!

- i¡OÓrale! - Yay!

[both]: Elbow bump,

silly jump,

Rosie's Rule:

Transportation can move goods

from one place to another.

And it's extra-supertastical

when you end up at your family picnic!

[Iggy]: Rawr! [giggling]

Rawr! Dinos love watamelon monstah!

[laughing]

Dino Cave!

[growling meow]

[giggling]

Ah... Isn't it a nice day, Gatita?

[meowing happily]

The sun is shining,

the birds are chirping...

[Iggy]: Rawr!

The picnic table is roaring?

[confused meow] [Iggy]: Rawr!

[giggling] Iggy?

What are you doing under there?

Iggy make dino cave!

Rosie's Rule: Sometimes you think it's a picnic table,

but it's a dino cave!

Rawr!

Here comes the Rosie-asarus!

And the Kitty-saurus!

[meowing]

[inhaling] Ah...

Qué hermoso día.

[Iggy]: Rawr!

Ahh!

- Oh... - Hola, Papá.

Iggy and I are being dinos!

[meowing]

And Gatita too.

This dino cave!

I see...

Pero, miren niños,

I'm setting up lunch outside today at the picnic table.

And I don't want to step on any dinos by mistake.

Maybe you can find another place for your dino cave?

Maybe here by the sandbox!

Hmm, I think I'm out of ideas.

Well, that didn't work.

Hi, Rosie and Iggy. Whatchya doing?

I'm trying to make a dino cave for Iggy.

But I think we're gonna need bigger rocks.

And a lot more.

I'll help make rocks for the cave,

and you get the rest of the materials

from the garage?

- Got it! - Got it!

Uh, what are materials?

Materials are the things you use

to make and build things, like cardboard, tape...

Got it! Let's get the materials!

[giggling]

[Rosie]: Flat box. Other flat box.

Sticky tape.

We've got the materials for the dino cave...

[gasps] ...and the transportation

to take them to the backyard. i¡Vamos!

i¡Amos! [meowing]

Ah, permiso, Gatita.

[meowing]

[bright music]

Let the dino cave building begin!

[giggling]

[upbeat music]

[struggling meows]

Rosie's Rule:

When you're using sticky tape,

make sure your brother and kitty cat

don't get stuck together!

[grunting]

Now, where were we?

[Crystal]: Dino rocks!

Come get your dino rocks!

And lots of other dino stuff!

[both]: The dino rocks are ready!

Oops! [meowing]

[excited meowing]

[grunting]

OÓrale...

Look at all the dino rocks!

[Crystal]: I made dino eggs too.

And some shrubs, and some flowers.

Oh, once I started I just couldn't stop creating!

Now we just have to figure out

how to get everything downstairs.

I know how!

I can roll them down

and Iggy will catch them in the wagon!

- Right, Iggy? - Wight, Wosie!

Here comes a rolly dino rock and dino egg!

i¡Ahí van!

Ooh!

[meowing]

Dino wok all smooshed!

Maybe rolling them down wasn't the best plan.

Yeah. Because we've got a lot more to go.

I need to call Abuela.

[chiming]

[Rosie]: i¡Hola Abuela!

[construction work clanking] It's very noisy!

i¡Hola mi niña!

The construction workers are fixing the sidewalk outside.

¿Qué pasa?

Crystal made lots of coolamadoodle stuff

for Iggy's dino cave,

but I don't know how to get them down the stairs!

Mira, Rosalía. Why don't you use transportation?

Transportation on the stairs?!

i¡Sí! There are different kinds of transportation

that can move materials from one place to another.

Things like...

[gasps] This chute!

It's moving concrete from the truck to the ground!

Ooh! I need to go put in some earplugs.

i¡Adiós granito de arroz!

i¡Ciao bacalao!

Iggy, Crystal, we're gonna make transportation

on the stairs!

- Ta-da! - i¡OÓrale!

This chute is wow-mazing!

Now, let's see if it works.

Here they come!

[all cheering]

Oh yeah! We made!

A chute! And it worked!

Oh, sorry.

Muy bien, Iggy.

I'll put the rocks outside the cave,

and you can put the dino eggs inside.

Okay! Here I go...

[giggling]

[thuds]

Oh, Iggy, the wagon

is not going to fit through the...

...door.

Dat not good.

i¡No te preocupes! I've got this!

I'll fix the cave with my...

Huh?

[gasps] There's no more sticky tape!

No fix dino cave?

[sighs]

I finally got all the materials

and made a dino cave for Iggy,

but it fell apart and there's no more sticky tape and...

I need to flop.

Breathe in... [inhaling]

Breathe out... [exhaling]

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out.

i¡Vamos a ver! Hmm...

[Jun]: Hi!

Ro... Rosie!

Ooh, what's that?

It's a dino cave!

Well, it was a dino cave.

Cave went splat.

And we don't have any more sticky tape to fix it.

Well, I've got sticky tape.

- You do? - Uh-huh!

Oh, but I can't bring it over

'cause my Grandpa said to wait right here for lunch.

Ooh! Maybe I can throw the tape over the fence.

I don't think you should do that. It might bonk someone.

Oh, you're right. Hmm...

I wish there was another way to get the tape over the fence.

Hmm...

Wait a secamadoodle!

I have the most supertastical, terrifical,

wow-mazing idea ever!

Aren't you gonna ask me what it is?

- What it?! - Tell us!

We can use...

This fishing pole as transportation!

i¡Miren!

I'll hang the pole over this fence...

Lower the string down...

Got it!

Now tie the tape on, Jun!

It's tied!

Now I bring it back over!

Bye, tape! Have a fun trip over the fence!

[giggling] [Iggy]: There it is!

Thank you!

That was pretty clever, campeona.

You used the fishing pole as a crane

to get your tape from one side of the fence

to the other!

[laughing]

I'm gonna get you! Rawr!

Rosie's Rule:

There are so many ways to move materials

from one place to another.

[Papá]: Lunchtime!

And I decided to use transportation for our food!

Ah?

Wow-mazing!

It's like a slide...

for our lunch!

Mmm!

Okay, Iggy. We've got our paint,

we've got our paint brushes, we've got our paper.

Now we have one more thing to do.

Look for inspiration!

Yay!

Do you know what inspiration is?

No.

Inspiration is finding something

that makes you want to create!

So let's get going!

Look at those fluffy clouds, Iggy.

Wee! Leaves!

Hmm... Let's look somewhere else for inspiration.

[giggles]

[gasps] It's a cute little caterpillar,

Iggy a dinosaur! Stomp, stomp, roar!

Iggy. How will you find inspiration

if you keep jumping in the leaves,

digging in the sand, and being a dinosaur?!
