02x09 - AIM Stalker

So you won't sell out your friends?(Start match to episode .)

No, my tongue's just num—

Well, can't say I blame—

Transferring the sisters should be the last step after calibration.

The sudden transfer and fear of external att*ck means decreased security on the inside.

This is my only chance to set it in motion.(End match to episode .)

The S Processor? The laboratory for the analysis of neurosynapses?

Sorry to call you so suddenly, but if you could come here immediately...

We'll fill you in when you arrive.

There are more than facilities involved in the project.(Start match to episode .)

Are you going to do this alone?

Just who do you think I am?

I sowed the seeds.

I'll clean up the mess alone.(End match to episode .)(I wish Monsanto would clean up their mess theirselves.)

She'll clean it up herself, huh?

It was way too quiet.(More match to episode .)

I was starting to think you'd gotten fried.

That was a close call, wasn't it,

Frenda?(End match to episode .)

Mugino!

Thank goodness!

Good grief.

You were supposed to just keep her busy until we arrived.

Instead you chased her too far and gave her the upper hand.

Were you that obsessed with the takedown bonus?

It's okay, Frenda.

I like you the way you are.

And what way is that?(Like what?)

So you're the intruder they told us about?

She blocked it?

No, she blew it away...

Fancy tricks you've got there.

Running around on the walls?

You're just like a spider.

Damn it...

Takitsubo!

Use them.

Did you find her?

No, not over here.

Where on Earth did that girl go?

Sheesh. We're already so busy.

Should we tell the cleaners?

I just hope it doesn't become messy.

Yeah.

Well...

Let's get started.

She dodged it?

No! She's deflecting the lightning!

Wahow, crayfy.(At least include the numb tongue.)

Crap.

I don't know why, but she smells like danger.

Trying to make a smokescreen?

It'll hardly buy you any tim—

She got away.

Takitsubo.

Don't worry.

I've memorized her AIM dispersion field.

I'll be at a disadvantage if I take them all at once.

I should prioritize destroying the facility.

Crap!

I used my powers too much!

My legs...

Huh? I was running around at random.

How...

Was it a lucky sh*t?

No, that's not it...

She dodged it.

The search subject is still present.

She must've jumped onto the ceiling.

Three degrees of freedom makes it hard to hit her.

Takitsubo!

Phew... She's amazing as always.

The fourth-strongest Level of Academy City, The Meltdowner.

And, even if the target is on the other side of the Earth,

Takitsubo's AIM Stalker will still find them.

They're the great Level -Level duo ITEM's famous for.

Escaping the two of them

ish afshoshuteshy impoffifle!

I can calk again!

Testing, testing, one, two three.

I don't know who she is, but it's only a matter of time until we get her.

Let's drive her into a corner that she can't escape from.

Misaka Mikoto's att*cks on the facilities...

Destroying them all won't halt the experiments.

The shadow of the phrase "Level " is too dark and deep.

All the human emotion data I've gathered during my research...

I'll install this into their brain...

Of course, I doubt such a primitive program could awaken true emotions in them,

but it should probably trigger some similar reactions at least.

I don't know if this can thwart the plan,

but I'm sure it can show them that there's a path which won't lead them to hopeless death.

The Sisters have believed that death was only natural,

but now some of them might bemoan such a fate.

Maybe some of the researchers will see them as more than mere guinea pigs.

And, as slim as the chances may be,

their voice as they weep, "I don't want to fight,"

may move someone's heart.

Maybe I'm naive.

I know that there might be no point in doing this.

However...

What I felt in that instant...

I thought you were an employee, so I checked with the bosses.

This place is super-out-of-bounds until all the data has been transferred.

They suspected that the culprit worked alone,

but there was a possibility that an att*ck on one facility could just be a super-distraction.

So even if both facilities get att*cked, the offense team handles the attacker,

while the defense team keeps both facilities super-safe.

Looks like Mugino was super-right.

It's coming!

Frenda!

Righto!

I was right to set them up all through the building!

They can pinpoint my location exactly.

No doubt about it. Psychometry or clairvoyance...

One of them has the ability to locate me.

All right!

Crap.

I couldn't be at more of a disadvantage.

But...

Stop struggling.

We'll hand you over to the client.

Resistance is super-futile.

Futile resistance...

Maybe... it is.

The project isn't the only problem.

Even if we managed to end the project,

could the clones live normal lives?

Eyes that hold no emotion...

Short lives...

Maybe an even harsher fate could await them.

Maybe I should just...

And yet...

She tries to shoulder it all by herself.

She's such a foolish girl.

Yes. This is a sin we were meant to shoulder.

We must give them a chance to break free of their fate!

What?!

What did she do?

It's pointless.

The installation was complete.

What on Earth...

I don't really get it, but it looks like your plan just super-failed.

That can't be...

When did they install this security?

What should we do with her?

Super-take her upstairs.

Got it.

Come on, stand up!

Now get walkin'!

You...

Don't move!

I don't want to use this.

Do me a favor and leave.

I super-can't do that.

Super-respect for aiming away from the vitals in this situation,

but a g*n can't break through my Offense Armor.(Check on this power name. yep it's offense armor)

Take her upstairs super-fast.

Got it.

Damn it.

Hey, there's someone in that capsule...

If you super-stare at stuff that's not part of your job,

then I'll super-erase you to keep your mouth shut.

Sorry!

Come on.

Pick up the pace.

What's gonna happen to her?

Who cares?

We just did our super-job.

If she's useful, they may let her live.

But...

She'll lose everything except her super-crappy life.

The target has moved meters northwest.

I can't seem to hit her.

She doesn't just have three degrees of freedom.

She seems to be able to detect my att*cks.

What esper could do that?

You okay?

Yeah, I'm fine.

Takitsubo's AIM Stalker is useful,

but it's accomplished by forcefully inducing a power overload.

She can only use it for so long.

The intruder's covering less ground with each att*ck.

She's reaching her limit too, that's for sure.

It isn't worth it to keep using Takitsubo.

She hasn't tried to escape even after being cornered.

Meaning she has a reason to risk her life to destroy this place.

So if I wait for her at her final destination,

she'll come to me.

I'm up against a wounded animal that's completely exhausted.

Her composure's on a thread.

Dangerous, but so long as I stay calm, there's very little risk.

But...

Waiting for a target isn't my style!

Frenda!

Come on... Move, Misaka Mikoto!

You don't have time to rest.

How stubborn can you get?!

Come on, come on, come on!

Bye-bye, spiderwoman.

It's coming.

I can't dodge it!

Thought so.

I had a feeling ever since she deflected my lightning.

Her power is fundamentally the same as mine.

My Meltdowner...

What's wrong, Mugino?

I see!

It all makes sense!

H-Hey, Takitsubo!

Are... you... okay... Takitsubo...

Frenda.

Take Takitsubo and meet up with Kinuhata.

Huh?

I'm still going strong.

It's not just for your sake.

Frenda took a good bit of damage from that spiderwoman.

You're trying to hide it, but you can barely move.

Once Takitsubo hits her limit,

we won't be able to sense counterattacks.

It'll be difficult for me to protect both of you.

Sorry that we're dead weight.

I'm not blaming you.

In fact, you did a good job.

Thanks to you two, she's on her last legs.

Put Kinuhata on rear guard and rest.(As in Kinuhata's in charge of keeping them safe.)

Was Mugino just...

kinda nice?

I'm not much for getting crap about outnumbering the enemy.

Third-strongest Level in Academy City...

Tokiwadai's Railgun!

Tokiwadai's Railgun!

How about a one-on-one?

I've come this far!

And while I'm doing this, they're...

Out of my way!
