PINKALICIOUS: "Fashion Fun."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Jasmine is showing me and Lila fashion pictures!

PINKALICIOUS: Pinkatastic!

Whoa!

(Pinkalicious gasps)

ALL: Wow!

JASMINE: It's like wearing a garden!

LILA: Look at the bows on those shoes!

JASMINE: Ooh, how do they make her skirt so shiny?

They must use a lot of glitter.

What's this?

Jasmine's fashion folder.

I collect pictures

of all kinds of outfits from magazines.

Aren't they pinkamazing? (chuckles)

I wonder who makes these clothes.

A fashion designer.

What's a fashion designer?

Someone who comes up with new ideas for clothing.

See here?

It started as a sketch,

which is a drawing of your idea.

Kind of like the sketches I do

when I'm thinking of an invention.

They help me plan what I want to create.

Oh!

Speaking of inventions,

I better get back to work.

Ooh.

I really wish I could wear something like that.

Mommy has a really colorful dress sort of like this

in her closet.

We can dress up and have our own fashion show!

(gasps): I love fashion shows.

Let's go upstairs and see what we can find.

Do you like my hat?

It's divine.

Simply fabulous.

(giggling)

Uh, girls...

What are you doing?

We're going to have a fashion show.

Oh, I'm sorry, Mommy.

I should have asked first.

Well, you've got plenty of dress-up clothes

in your room, Pinkalicious.

(chuckles): Hat, please.

(giggles)

Have a good time!

Do you like my outfit?

It's great, but... (sighs)

It doesn't exactly look like the outfits

in the fashion folder.

Can you imagine what it would be like

to make clothes like those?

Totally pinkcredible!

♪ ♪

Feathers!

Ruffles!

Bows.

Oh, and the feathers are unique.

And the ruffles are so floaty!

It's an original, designed by moi, Pinkalicious!

(gasps): We should make our own outfits!

We could be fashion designers.

And have a real fashion show in our backyard.

Great idea!

Let's do it!

PINKALICIOUS: Hmm.

I think we're going to need more than this.

Oh! Don't forget sequins.

And a stapler.

(gasps): Oh, and tape.

Mommy says it's okay to use

whatever we find in the cabinet.

Let's see-- napkins,

cupcake liners,

tin foil?

They're kind of like cloth.

These coffee filters could be fun.

(gasps): And paper plates!

We can cut them into shapes.

We could use these spoons and straws.

Let's see, what else?

Hey, this pasta looks like bows.

It's just like the shoe in the picture.

Wow. Wow.

You know, we don't have to make things

just like the pictures in the folder.

We can make whatever we want.

These cupcake liners can make a pretty design.

What are you going to make, Pinkalicious?

The most beautiful pink dress you've ever seen.

With this!

A bubble wrap dress?

(gasps): Perfect.

What are you guys doing?

(bubbles popping)

PINKALICIOUS (laughing): Hey!

You're stepping on my dress.

(laughing)

Don't worry, it's not my dress yet.

I'm going to make one for our fashion show.

A fashion show?

Can I be in it?

Sure.

But you have to make something to wear.

I can do that.

We can invite everyone to the show.

We can make a pink runway.

And have music.

It's going to be pinkatastic!

♪ ♪

JASMINE: Ta-da!

What do you think?

Very chic!

Does that mean you like it?

(giggling): It means it's very stylish.

Like my pants.

(others exclaim)

(knocking)

Oh, wow, nice work, kids.

But it's getting a little late.

Time to wrap up.

But I'm not done yet.

And we didn't get to put on our fashion show, either.

That's okay, Pinkalicious-- you can do it tomorrow.

I can help set everything up.

LILA: Bye, see you tomorrow!

(glumly): Bye.

Just a little longer, please?

I want my dress to be exactly the way I'm imagining it.

Well, okay.

But don't work too hard.

Oh, thank you so much, Mommy.

(chuckles)

(yawns)

JASMINE: Oh, it's a great day

for a fashion show!

You ready, Pinka...

(gasps)

That is the best dress ever.

You look like a pink bubble princess!

Thanks! (knocking)

Everyone will be here soon for the show.

You guys ready?

ALL (giggling): Yes!

Hey, nice dress!

I love your designs.

They're pinkcredible!

I just have to put on my shoes.

(groans)

(straining)

(giggling): Phew!

(bubbles straining)

(gasps): My bubbles!

Oh, I worked so hard on this dress.

I can't wait to show everyone.

PETER: Showtime!

Everyone's here,

and I'm ready to show off my silver spaceman hat.

(girls exclaiming)

You guys!

Wait for me!

Here we go.

Welcome to our pinkariffic fashion show.

The latest fashions straight from Pinkville.

We used things from around the house to make our clothes.

Enjoy the show!

Please welcome Jasmine.

This is my original creation:

a paper fringe skirt that's light and flowy,

and a tissue paper vest with cupcake wrapper flowers

to remind you of spring.

(exclaim and applaud)

Flowers and fringe-- what could be better?

Next, we have Lila.

Tell us about your one-of-a-kind outfit, Lila.

Um...

I made it with construction paper chains

because I like all the colors.

(applause)

And check out those coffee filters

on her newspaper pants!

(gasp and applaud)

Way to go, Lila!

Peter's hat is also one-of-a-kind.

And if you guessed it's made from tin foil,

you're right!

That's why it's so shiny.

(exclaim and applaud)

♪ ♪

PINKALICIOUS: Next up is...

Oh, me!

(exclaim)

(applauding)

My dress is truly an original, because I designed it!

It's made out of pinkariffic bubble wrap.

(exclaiming)

(applauding)

(bubble wrap straining)

(yelps)

(gasps): Uh-oh!

JASMINE: It's okay, Pinkalicious!

(softly): You're doing great!

Just keep going!

(gasp)

(gasps): Oh, no!

(gasp)

Pinkalicious!

♪ ♪

(knocking)

MOMMY: Pinkalicious?

It's Mommy.

Oh, I'm sorry, Pinkalicious.

(crying): I-- I broke my dress.

I'm so sorry that happened, sweetie.

But you really did design a great dress.

You should be very proud of yourself.

I was.

I came up with the idea for it, I made it all by myself.

And then I just ruined it.

Don't worry, Pinkalicious.

It's going to be okay.

It was an accident.

It's just...

I was up all night working on this dress.

I just wanted it to be pinkaperfect.

You know, it won't be hard to fix this.

I have some extra-strong tape in my workshop

that should do the trick.

I kind of like the way it looks.

It's definitely more interesting this way.

It is pretty original.

At least I can walk.

And it's not so hot under all that bubble wrap.

I can feel a breeze on my legs!

(laughing)

In fact...

(gasp)

What if I make a shorter skirt?

Then I definitely won't trip on it.

And it's so much more comfortable!

Does that mean you'll come back to the show?

You know what they say.

The show must go on!

(cheering and applauding)

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Playing dress-up is fun,

but designing your own clothes is fashion-tastic!

KIDS: That's artalicious!

GIRL: Today we are designing fashion

onto the cardboard people.

A cardboard person

is cardboard that is shaped like a person.

There, a purple and green headband

will do nicely.

We're taking materials

like fabric and paper

and designing clothing.

This one is very complicated,

because I had to wrap around two strings for the leggings,

put the necklace on, put the shirt on.

And now this one, I just had to wrap it around

and put the shirt on.

It's simple.

This is a parachute shirt,

because if you, like, pull this string off first,

then the parachute comes undone.

BOY: My idea of fashion design isn't really ordinary.

At all.

So this is kind of a summer thing.

It's actually a little water costume.

The life jacket is coming in a new color called sparkles.

What I do when I make fashion design is,

I try to make it

as unusual and as unique as I can.

If you want to have a little fashion on you,

you can wear these clothes

or different clothes that have fashion.

PINKALICIOUS: "Welcome, Pinka Bear."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): A baby pinka bear is about to be born at the Pinkville Zoo.

I can't wait to meet it!

Can you believe it?

A real, baby pinka bear, right here in Pinkville!

(as Henrietta): How pinkatastic!

It sure is, Henrietta.

Are you excited about the baby bear, Fred?

(as Fred): Very!

I used to be a baby bear myself!

(laughing)

I heard on the radio

that the baby could be born tonight.

(gasping): Tonight?

This calls for a super Fred flip!

Bear in the air!

Yay!

Do you think the baby's born yet, Mommy?

(chuckling): Maybe.

I'm sure we'll hear soon.

Night-night.

(flips light switch)

♪ ♪

Any news?

(yawns)

(mumbles)

It's : in the morning, Pinkalicious.

I'm gonna need some coffee.

I'll go listen to the radio.

Yay! (laughs)

I believe a bear has been born in Pinkville, honey.

(Pinkalicious cheers)

It's a girl! It's a girl!

Oh! Wonderful!

What's wonderful?

Pancakes? (giggles)

The baby pinka bear was born!

It's a girl and we can see her at the zoo tomorrow.

Can we go, pinka-pinka- please, please, please!?

And miss a chance to meet a real baby pinka bear?

Never.

I want to see the monkeys, too.

Peter, how can you think about monkeys at a time like this?

We need to come up with a way to welcome the pinka bear.

How do you welcome a bear?

Well, we can tell the pinka bear how happy we are she's here.

We could say, "How pinkamazing to meet you!"

Oh!

And we could sing a welcome song.

And, I know!

We could make her presents.

What would a baby pinka bear want?

I don't know.

But we better figure it out fast.

Hey, did you hear?

The pinka bear was born!

I know.

Peter and I were just trying to think of some presents

to bring her.

And we're going to make up a welcome song.

JASMINE: Great idea!

I wonder what a baby pinka bear would want.

I can give her some blocks.

That's more what you'd want, Peter.

(giggling)

Rusty loves chasing a ball.

But Rusty's a dog, not a bear.

And not a baby.

Maybe I can make a really soft ball.

Hmm, what do baby bears like?

(giggling)

She's too young for a pogo stick.

(giggles)

She's too young for a pony!

(horse hooves clomping)

Ooh!

(giggles)

♪ ♪

Aww!

I know what a baby bear would like.

Oh, it's your old baby blanket.

I'm going to give it to the baby pinka bear.

Are you sure?

You really loved that blanket.

That's why I'm giving it to her.

I'll sew on a big heart so she'll know I love her already!

What do you think?

Does it say "Welcome, baby pinka bear" to you?

Definitely.

Do you think she'll like my stuffed pinka bear?

She'll love it.

Aww, that ball's just right for a baby!

I filled it with cotton balls so it's really soft.

I know what I'm doing for the baby.

Come and see!

I made a pinka bear out of blocks.

(all giggling)

Pinkaperfect, Peter.

Now we just need a song.

(monkeys chattering, elephants trumpeting)

KIDS: ♪ Welcome, welcome, pinka bear ♪

♪ We're so happy that you're here ♪

♪ We've got lots of love for you ♪

♪ And some pinka presents, too ♪

♪ Little pinka baby girl ♪

♪ Welcome, welcome to the world! ♪

Thank you, folks!

You can put your presents right by the fence

and I'll bring them inside.

(cheer)

Now, let's see if our new addition

wants to come out with her momma.

Come on out, pinka bears!

Hmm.

Maybe they need a little encouragement.

♪ ♪

(sighs): That ought to do it.

Pinka bears just love bamboo.

(sniffs)

(gasps): There's the momma bear!

She's coming right toward us.

And the bamboo.

What'd I tell you? Bamboo works every time.

But where's the baby?

Maybe she doesn't want to come out.

Well, let's sing the song again.

Louder this time, so she knows we really want to see her.

♪ ♪

KIDS: ♪ Welcome, welcome, pinka bear ♪

♪ We're so happy that you're here ♪

♪ We've got lots of love for you ♪

♪ And some pinka presents, too ♪

♪ Little pinka baby girl ♪

♪ Welcome, welcome to the world! ♪

(groan)

(Pinkalicious gasps)

PINKALICIOUS: There she is! (whimpers)

Look! (kids exclaim)

Hello! Aww, you're so cute.

Hi, pinka bear!

Welcome!

Hello!

Come on out!

You can do it!

Aww, she's so cute!

(kids groan)

Uh-oh.

Oh, I think we scared her.

(gasps)

It's okay, we're not scary.

Well, maybe we are to a little bear.

Come see all your presents!

We want to meet you!

Oh, she's not coming out.

Maybe she's scared by how loud we are.

What if we use our softest, sweetest voices to call her,

so she knows we're not scary?

It's worth a try.

(softly): Looky, little bear, a pink ball!

(softly): See the stuffed bear? I made it just for you.

(whispering): I made you a picture from blocks.

(softly): Here's a pink baby blanket.

Come feel how soft and cuddly it is.

♪ ♪

That didn't work, either.

Aww, the bear's a no-show.

Well, she is a shy one.

Hey!

What if we check out some of the other animals?

(imitates monkey)

Oh, yeah! Yes!

Like the monkeys?

RAFAEL: Yeah, let's go!

PETER: Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! I want to see the monkeys!

RAFAEL: Oh, me, too!

Ooh, then we could see the tigers.

And then the jaguars!

Yeah! Let's do it.

But the baby might still come out.

We can try another day.

(groans)

It's okay, Pinkalicious.

We can go look at the other animals

and you and Daddy can wait for the bear.

Okay!

See you later, Pinkalicious.

I'll tell you all about the monkeys.

(imitates monkey)

(laughing): Oh, Peter.

Maybe the little bear will feel less shy with just us here.

I hope so.

Please come out, pinka bear.

I really want to meet you.

(Daddy snoring)

Where are you, little bear?

(snorts, gasps)

Ooh, any sign of the baby?

(sadly): No.

You know, Pinkalicious,

I think she might not be coming out today.

How about we go join up with the others?

I guess you're right.

But I really wish I could see her.

Let me just try the song one more time,

as soft as I can, so she won't be scared.

I'll whisper-sing.

Okay.

(whispering): ♪ Welcome, welcome, pinka bear ♪

♪ We're so happy that you're here ♪

♪ We've got lots of love for you ♪

♪ And some pinka presents, too ♪

(whispering): Daddy.

(whispering): Your song worked.

(gasps): She's so adorable!

Look.

She has your blanket. (bear chirps)

I knew you'd love it,

just like I did when I was a baby.

(chirping)

Look at that!

Your persistence paid off.

PETER: Hey, Pinkali...

(shushes)

(bear cooing)

How did you get her to come out?

All of our singing scared her.

I had to whisper-sing.

(whispering): Hi, did you see your picture?

I made it out of blocks.

(sniffing, cooing)

PINKALICIOUS: She likes it, Peter.

You've all been so nice to our new arrival.

Would you like to come inside and watch me feed her?

(gasps loudly): Really?

(whispering): That would be pinkamazing!

ALL: Aww!

She's so cute and sweet.

Hi, my name is Pinkalicious.

What's yours?

She doesn't have a name yet.

How about you give her one?

Oh, wow, okay.

Maybe Cuddles, since she's so huggable.

Or Rosa-- that means pink in Spanish.

How about...

Pink-Pink?

Because that's how my heart sounds when I see her.

It goes, "Pink-pink, pink-pink"!

(all laughing)

Pink-Pink it is!

(bear coos)

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): It took some time,

but I'm so glad we finally got to meet Pink-Pink.

She's the most pinkadorable baby bear ever.

It was definitely worth the wait.
