PINKALICIOUS: "Face Painting."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Tomorrow is picture day at school,

so we all have to look our best!

I'm going to wear my tiara!

I'm going to wear my hat!

You always wear your hat.

Well, it's a good hat.

(laughing)

Now remember, it is very important

that you all look presentable tomorrow.

That means neat and clean.

Your school picture is how you'll remember this year

for the rest of your lives!

Yes, Mr. Crunk!

Bye, Mr. Crunk!

I'm going to stop and show Mrs. Plum my painting.

I'll catch up to you later!

RAFAEL: See you later, alligator!

Hiya, Mrs....

(gasps)

Wow!

Oh, Pinkalicious, this is my niece Indigo.

She's visiting for the afternoon.

She wants to be an artist, too.

And a face painter!

She's been practicing on me since she was your age!

Hey, Pinkalicious!

(gasps): I like your painting!

And I like yours!

What is it?

Let me put some of the detail on,

then you'll be able to see.

I'm just using this sponge for the big blocks of color.

Now I'll do some stripes...

Oh!

You're a tiger, Mrs. Plum!

(chuckling, growling): That's right!

(giggling): A half-finished tiger.

Where's my little brush?

I need to add some details.

♪ ♪

All done!

You look tigerrific!

(laughing): I do!

Thank you, Indigo!

Oh... can you paint my face, too, Indigo?

Sure!

I can squeeze you in before I have to go.

What would you like?

Hmm...

♪ ♪

Meow!

(giggles)

Squeak, squeak, squeak.

Rawr! (laughs)

Oooh, wait, come back!

Could I please be... a butterfly?

Good choice!

Have a seat!

Great idea to stop and get ice cream, Rafael.

It was your idea.

(chuckles): I know.

PINKALICIOUS: Look!

RAFAEL: Whoa!

PETER: That's cool!

Your face looks amazing, Pinkalicious!

Who did that?

Mrs. Plum's niece, Indigo!

Isn't it colortastic?

I'm never washing it ever again!

I wonder what Mommy will say about that.

(gasps)

Itchy nose!

Careful! You'll smudge it!

(groans): But it's so itchy!

There's nothing worse than an itch you can't scratch.

Or maybe there is.

Run!

I can't believe the rain just washed it all off!

It's just...

It was so pinkamazing!

There was pink glitter here and a rainbow here

and... and...

I wish you'd seen it.

Pinkalicious, don't you have a face painting set of your own?

Do I?

I'm sure Grandma got you one for your fourth birthday.

You were a bit young for face paints then.

But now...

Now they'd be perfect!

Maybe you could use them to repaint the butterfly.

I'd love to see it.

Oh, yes!

But...

Where did I put them?

Crayons.

Pencils.

Tiara.

Sketch pad.

Markers.

Another tiara.

Books.

(gasps): Ooh!

Another tiara?

(groans): I can't find it!

Could I just use normal paints?

I don't think so, Pinkalicious.

You need special paints-- ones that won't hurt your skin.

(rustling)

A-ha!

Face painting kit!

Ooooh!

It's got brushes and a sponge, just like Indigo used!

I'm going to get started right away!

Hey, Pinkalicious, here's some wipes and a towel...

Oh!

I thought you were going to start right away.

Oh, I'm stuck!

I can't really remember exactly what Indigo did.

Just that it was a butterfly, and it was pink-credible!

Well, could you do the Pinkalicious version

of a butterfly?

I'm sure that would be just as good.

Well...

Indigo used her sponge first.

And then she used a big brush.

♪ ♪

Hmm...

It's kind of wobbly.

Do the other side...

(groans): That one's straight!

They don't match!

This is hard!

I don't think I can do it!

Well, if you're getting a bit frustrated,

maybe we should put the paints away for now.

Oh, no!

Not yet.

I'll keep trying.

Maybe if I use the little brush

to add some detail...

♪ ♪

Ooh, that looks great!

I like those colors together.

It kind of makes the wings match a little more, too!

And this brush could do lots more than dots.

It could do stripes...

(gasps): Ooh, and spirals!

Oooh! And look!

This foam brush can do circles!

♪ ♪

Oooh... dizzy...

Look, Mommy!

Pinkalicious!

That looks fantastic!

You know, I'm kind of glad the first one got washed off.

You are?

Yeah!

Well, this way, I get to see you with your own butterfly face.

You're really good at face painting, Pinkalicious!

Hey!

Can you do me?

Of course, Peter!

Great! Can I be...

Uh... what should I be?

Well, what do you like?

Pirates!

(laughs)

Sounds about right.

Brave, adventurous...

Always up to mischief.

And I like parrots.

Okay!

Hmm.

A pirate with a parrot.

Hey, everyone!

Wow!

Did you do that?

Could you do me?

I'd love to!

Avast!

What'll ye be havin' painted on yer face?

Squawk! Squawk!

(giggles)

Hmmm.

I want to be a tropical fish!

They're so beautiful,

and I'd love to swim around in the warm sea all day.

I'll start with this brush just to make your face blue.

And then I'll use this to paint on some scales.

Sounds fishy!

(all laughing)

Hey, Pinkalicious.

Your mom said you were in here.

What are you doing?

Face painting!

But what about school picture day?

It's tomorrow!

Oh, face paint comes off.

Too easily, if you ask me!

Thanks, Pinkalicious!

I could do you, too.

Um... if you're sure it comes off.

Can I be... a cat?

Sounds purr-fect!

(laughing)

Argh!

Who would like some of me treasure?

JASMINE: Mmmm!

Chocolate!

Oh.

But maybe I should have asked

for something bigger and more colorful.

Like a fish or a pirate.

I know how to do a tiger.

Oh, yeah!

I'd love to be a tiger!

Okay!

Wipe that off and I'll repaint you.

Mmm, Pinkalicious?

Do I need to use a special soap or something?

I don't think so.

Try this.

Shiver me timbers!

It's not coming off!

Mommy!

It's kind of coming off a bit.

A really little bit.

Oh, dear.

This says the paints do come off.

Just that it takes a few days.

But school picture day is tomorrow!

Mr. Crunk said we had to look presentable.

What are we going to do?

Don't worry.

I did this.

So... I'll... make it better.

Somehow.

Uh-oh, did you guys forget it's school picture day?

You better go wash that off!

We can't!

Mr. Crunk is going to be so angry!

You said you'd make it better, Pinkalicious.

I'm going to try.

I've got a note from Mommy,

and I'm going to tell him what happened

and say I'm sorry.

And it'll all be okay.

I hope.

And Lila, brush that hair!

Um...

Mr. Crunk?

Oh!

I'm so sorry!

I painted my face and I didn't know it wouldn't come off!

Your face!

And I only realized

after I did Peter and Kendra and Jasmine and...

(stammers): Pinkalicious!

Your face, it's...

Awful, I know, I'm so sorry!

I never wanted to ruin the picture.

It's wonderful!

Excuse me?

Your face painting looks wonderful!

You really took to heart what I said

about looking your best.

I wish everybody had their faces painted!

In fact...

Maybe you could paint everybody's faces!

I think that would make a truly memorable photo.

Oh, yes!

I'd love to do it!

Who would like to have their faces painted for the picture?

(kids exclaiming)

Ms. Penny has face paints in her room.

And they wash right off.

Okay-- ready, everyone?

And one... two... three...

Smile!

(camera clicks and beeps)

Now everyone make a funny face.

(chuckling): Oh.

You already have funny faces!

(laughs)

(camera clicks and beeps)

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Face painting is funtastic!

I wonder what colorrific designs I can do

for our next picture day.

KIDS: That's pinkatastic!

(giggling)

HAYLEY: Today we're working with Eric from Behind the Mask.

ANORA: Eric is a mask maker.

(snarling)

And when we walk into his studio,

we feel, like, "Wow."

Wow.

Today we're making masks.

We're going to start with this shape base.

I am making a unicorn.

Well, I'm just gonna try to make a bunny.

Pinkalicious had a butterfly on her face,

and I'm gonna make one, too.

We can modify these mask blanks with foil and cardboard.

And I am adding foamy stuff to make the eyebrows look poofy.

ERIC: Now we're gonna get messy.

ANORA: Next, we're gonna do papier-mâché.

ERIC: Brown paper papier-mâché,

when you're just trying to strengthen something.

ANORA: The second kind of papier-mâché

is colored tissue paper.

So instead of painting the whole mask,

you can get tissue paper and get the colors that you want.

ERIC: And we're creating this unique texture

that you can't really even get with paint.

KINGSTON: Right now

I'm adding the colored papier-mâché to my ears

so it can look like an actual bunny.

Should that be tighter on you, or is that good?

♪ ♪

Kingston looks like a real bunny.

Anora looks really cool.

Hayley looks great with her unicorn mask, too.

I actually feel like a unicorn.

(Eric laughs)

Look at you guys!

PINKALICIOUS: "Sailing Away."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Today, Peter and I are making boats.

Out of paper!

♪ ♪

And then one more fold like this.

There!

Now for the final touch.

Ta-da!

Ooh!

♪ Sailing, sailing over the ocean blue ♪

(giggles)

I want to try!

♪ ♪

Aw.

I don't think I'm doing it right.

Hm...

Okay, I see what you did here.

You just need to fold this top corner down...

the other side...

then fold the bottom part up...

Now fold this part up...

Like this?

You got it!

Okay, now pull the pointy parts open...

I did it!

Yes, you did!

BOTH: ♪ Sailing, sailing over the ocean blue ♪

(giggling)

Huh, paper boats, eh?

I used to make those when I was a kid and sail them in the pond.

(both gasp)

Paper boats can float?

(laughing): They sure can!

Can you take us to the park to sail our boats?

Please, Daddy?

I want to see them float!

Hmm... Ah, sure, why not?

We'll make it a Pinkerton family adventure!

Yay!

Thank you so much, Daddy!

Yes!

(gasps)

Let's bring some passengers!

(in high-pitched voice): I've always wanted to go sailing, Fred!

PETER (in low tone): Me, too, Henrietta!

(chuckling in low tone)

(giggling)

I'm not sure this boat is big or strong enough

to hold Henrietta.

Hm.

(gasps)

Maybe we should make another one using thicker paper.

I can ask Mommy if she has some in her work room.

But what will we do with these boats?

Well, sailors need...

sailor hats!

(kids laughing)

Ready for your big trip, Henrietta?

Whoa, hold on just a moment.

We don't want Fred and Henrietta floating too far away from us.

♪ ♪

BOTH: Thanks, Daddy.

♪ ♪

Bon voyage!

Have fun, bears!

Happy sailing!

Have a nice trip!

Make sure you put your bear life jackets on!

(laughing)

Well, looks like you two are all set.

Oh, did you bring the blanket?

And our books.

(chuckling): Wow.

Honey, you thought of everything.

We'll just be right over here if you need us.

Okay!

(frog croaking, Peter gasps)

Hey, there, froggy frog!

(laughing)

(frog croaking, Peter laughing)

(gasps): Peter! Your boat!

(croaks)

(cries out)

(laughs, water splashes)

Oh, no!

No, no, no, no, no, no!

What are they doing way out there?

Uh-oh.

Oh, no!

Oh, no, I'm sorry!

♪ ♪

Fred!

Henrietta!

Oh, no, what happened?

Is everything okay?

We dropped the strings, and now the boats are getting away.

Poor Fred and Henrietta!

PETER: Maybe we could swim out and rescue them!

Well, not without your swimsuits.

And besides, it's too deep.

DAD: Ooh, and too chilly.

But how are we ever going to get them back?

♪ ♪

BOTH: Help, help!

HENRIETTA: Please save us!

Teddy bear boat to the rescue!

♪ ♪

Stay calm, bears!

The teddy bear rescue boat is here!

Gotcha!

You did it!

BOTH: Hooray!

(grunts)

They're floating away!

We need to do something!

What we need is a rescue boat.

Then we can sail out there and get them!

A rescue boat?

(scoffs): Where are we going to get that?

Same place we got the other boats.

We'll make one.

A really big one!

I found these supplies in my workroom.

A really big boat needs really big paper

that's thick and strong.

Ah, thank you so much, Mommy!

Whoa!

Folding time!

Everybody take a corner.

♪ ♪

(all exclaim)

Nice boat.

That's so cool.

Pink-amazing!

Nice job, Pinkertons!

(grunting)

Ready to board, Pinkerton Crew?

Yes! Yes!

♪ ♪

We did it! We did it!

The S. S. Pinkerton to the rescue!

Anchors aweigh-- here we go!

Oh!

Why aren't we moving?

(wind howls, Pinkalicious gasps)

I think we need a sail to catch the breeze!

Back to shore!

(grunting)

Hey, what if we used this blanket for a sail?

That should catch the wind!

Now we just need a mast.

What's a mast?

It's a pole that holds up the sail.

(gasps)

Let's use this stick for a mast.

Aw, good thinking, Pinkalicious!

♪ ♪

It's pinkaperfect!

Great job.

Ready, crew?

Let's give it another try!

♪ ♪

It's working!

PINKALICIOUS: Hold on, bears!

We're on our way!

(boat thuds, family cries out)

(Mom gasps)

What happened?

Oh, looks like we hit a rock.

Whoa.

I didn't know rocks could swim.

(family gasps)

It's not a rock.

It's a turtle!

(gasps): Oh, my!

Stop, turtle, stop!

Uh, oh-- no, no, no, no, no.

Stop!

Go back!

♪ ♪

(boat thuds)

Aw.

We can't seem to catch the wind.

Looks like we're pretty stuck in these reeds.

♪ ♪

Great, what do we do now?

Don't worry, we'll figure something out.

We sailors can handle all kinds of challenges.

That's the spirit!

Hmm.

(grunts)

These reeds seem pretty strong.

What if we use them to push out of here?

Hey, that might work.

(gasps)

Yeah, the water here, it's not too deep.

(both grunting)

(reeds snap)

Yes!

Ready for push-off?

Aye, aye, Captain Pinkalicious!

(Pinkalicious giggles)

(both grunting)

♪ ♪

(all cheering)

All right!

MOM: Kids, you did it!

Yay, we're free!

PINKALICIOUS: We did it!

(wind blowing)

This wind sure isn't making this easy.

I'll help!

Oh, no!

Phew!

That was close!

PINKALICIOUS (gasps): There they are!

Hold on, Fred and Henrietta!

We're almost there!

Hmm.

Pinkertons, we have a problem.

We do? What is it?

Well, I don't think we're going to fit

under the bridge.

PINKALICIOUS: Oh, no!

The mast is too tall.

We need to lower it!

(grunting): It won't budge!

(Mom grunting)

I can't look!

♪ ♪

(wind howling)

Oh, no!

(all moaning)

Hold on tight, Pinkertons!

(grunting)

♪ ♪

(all cheering)

We did it!

We're so close!

Go, Pinkerton crew!

(chanting): Pinkertons, Pinkertons!

We are sailors!

(cheering)

♪ ♪

Permission to come aboard!

Thank you!

Yay!

Woo-hoo!

Yay!

(in high-pitched voice): I thought we were lost for good, Fred!

(in low tone): No way, Henrietta!

I knew Pinkalicious and Peter would save us!

(both laughing)

Well done, sailors!

We better get going!

It's a long way back to shore.

♪ ♪

Whew!

That was quite an adventure!

Next time, maybe we should leave the bears safe at home.

No, what we need is a canoe for next time!

Ooh! Or a speed boat!

That would be super-fun!

Or we can make the biggest boat ever!

Big enough to hold all our stuffed animals!

And Jasmine and Rafael and Frida!

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): One day, I'd like to sail around the world on a paper boat.

Now, that would be pinkamazing!
