PINKALICIOUS: "Amazing Sled Run."

♪ ♪

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): Today has to be a snow day.

There is snow all the way to the roof.

(laughing)

Is it a snow day today, Mommy?

It has to be.

The snow is almost up to the sky.

Yes, school is canceled.

Whoo-hoo! Yay!

Snow day! Snow day!

(chuckling): But I thought you liked school.

We do.

But a snow day is special.

It's snowtastic.

Pinkalicious, let's go sledding.

Yes!

(Mommy laughing)

♪ ♪

(gasps): We're snowed in!

DADDY (chuckling): Wow.

I never thought I'd shovel snow inside the house.

Can we dig ourselves out, Daddy?

DADDY: Hmm.

It could take some time.

Aw, we really want to go sledding.

How can we get outside?

Wait, I know.

♪ ♪

We can go out this way.

Look at that.

The second floor is now the first floor.

And this hill is pinkaperfect for sledding.

Is it okay to go out the window, Daddy?

Let me see.

It's nice and firm.

Go have fun.

Yay!

Let's get our jackets.

And the sleds.

Ready?

Three, two, one...

Go! Go!

Whee!

That was way too short.

The hill's too small.

I know.

I wish we had a bigger hill,

so we could have the longest sled ride ever.

Pinkamagine that!

♪ ♪

(laughing): Whee!

Again!

Whoa!

Whee!

(laughing)

Again!

Whoa!

(laughing)

Whoo-hoo!

We need to make the sled ride longer.

How?

Hmm.

(gasps): I got it!

Let's build a sled run,

so the ride can keep going and going and going!

What's a sled run?

It's a path for our sled to follow.

Wow!

You know how to build a sled run?

No, but we'll figure it out.

Ooh!

Can I go first when it's done?

Of course.

Come on, we need shovels.

So how do we start?

Hmm.

We need a path that's high along the sides...

So the sled stays on it.

Like this.

Kind of looks like half a paper towel roll.

But it'll just stop at the end of our yard.

Well, not if we make it turn towards Jasmine's house.

Oh.

♪ ♪

See? Like this.

That'll give us a nice, long ride

into Jasmine's yard.

I think it'll work.

Ooh, we'll call it the "Jas-mania Turn."

(both laughing)

And now for the shoveling part.

You mean the hard part?

(laughing)

♪ ♪

It looks like half a paper towel roll to me.

How about we test it out?

Sure!

Whoo!

(laughing)

Jas-mania Turn works.

But we need more speed.

And it needs to be longer!

If we want to go faster,

how about we make some little hills?

So we go...

up and down, up and down.

They just need to be close together,

so we can get all the way up.

And then zoom down!

Time for more shoveling.

(sighs): More shoveling?

Come on, it'll be worth it.

♪ ♪

Let's call this one the Bumpatron!

Just when your sled is slowing down,

it hits...

The Bumpatron. The Bumpatron.

(both laughing)

Wow!

Are you building a sled run?

It's going to be the fastest run ever.

I know a way to make it even faster.

(both gasp)

JASMINE: If this is my house,

you can sled way up along this part

where the snow is really high.

See?

And that'll zip you around,

then back down the street.

This calls for more shoveling.

(groans): I knew you'd say that.

♪ ♪

We'll call it the "Pinkawow Turn."

Do you think it's high enough?

Whoa!

(both laughing)

Definitely.

Wow, excellent sled run, Peter.

Can I help?

Sure, grab a shovel.

A sled run takes a lot of shoveling.

You know, we could build a jump right along here.

You'd just need enough speed to get up it,

and then... whoosh!

Lift-off.

Ooh, Pinkalicious!

Rafael has a great idea.

We can build the snow up into a ramp, like this.

and it will send the sled...

Into the air!

Pinkamazing.

We'll call it, "The Rafael Ramp."

(all laugh)

♪ ♪

Yee-haw!

(kids exclaim)

Yay, it works!

That was awesome!

We did it!

No more shoveling!

(all laughing)

Let's give it a run.

I promised Peter he could go first.

Yes! Sledding time!

I'm going to fly like a bird.

(others laughing)

And speed like a race car.

♪ ♪

Uh-oh.

Peter, what's wrong?

(hesitantly): I... don't feel well.

Is he sick?

I know that voice.

It's not his sick voice.

It's his scared voice.

Peter, are you okay?

Hmm.

Do you know what snowmen eat for lunch?

Icebergers. (chuckles)

And where does a snowman keep his money?

Where? A snow bank.

(both chuckling)

Feeling better?

Kind of.

Ready to give it a try?

But the run is bigger than I thought.

And scary.

Well, how about we go down together?

You can hold on tight to me if you want.

It's just...

No one's tried the whole thing yet.

What if we fall?

Do you want someone else to try it,

then you could go?

But I really wanted to go first.

Hmm.

(gasps)

♪ ♪

How about...

we do a special test run?

Ready?

Hang on tight, Fred.

Three, two, one, go!

♪ ♪

(exclaiming)

(cheering)

Go, Fred!

Whoa!

They're staying on!

JASMINE: And they made it past the Pinkawow Turn.

They're heading for the Rafael Ramp.

♪ ♪

(gasps): I can't look!

(kids laughing)

Henrietta, Fred, how was it?

PETER (as Fred): Whoop-de-do!

(all laugh)

Okay, Peter.

You want to try it now?

Uh... can we go together?

You bet, Peter.

Climb aboard the Pinkasled.

Three, two, one...

Go! Go!

Whoo!

The Jas-mania Turn! Oh, no.

Whoa! Whoa!

Whee! Whoa.

(laughing)

Here comes the Bumpatron, Peter.

Hold tight. Uh-oh.

Whoo-hoo!

Next up, Pinkawow Turn.

Whee!

Coming up on Rafael Ramp.

We're going too fast!

Maybe we should stop.

I don't think we can-- hold tight!

(both yell)

We did it!

Whew!

(both laughing)

That was the best thing ever!

RAFAEL: Peter!

JASMINE: Pinkalicious!

You were going so fast.

Was it scary?

It was fun!

Wait till you try it.

Come on, Jasmine, let's ride together, too.

♪ ♪

Let's do it again.

Pinkatastic!

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): What's even better than a snow day?

A snow day with the longest sled ride ever.

KIDS: That's art-alicious!

BOY: I've made this higher,

but I still want to do one more thing.

GIRL: Pinkalicious and Peter made a sled run...

But we don't have any snow, and we don't have any sleds.

So instead we're using marbles, cardboard, and foam.

And this is where the marble's going to start.

BOY: To make the marble go,

you can make a slant so that you can give it momentum.

GIRL : And momentum means that it has enough power

to be able to push itself down something.

GIRL : To make it even go faster and cool.

GIRL : When it goes down,

it's able to go a little bit up,

and then it goes across the table,

and then it can go down again.

♪ ♪

BOY: We worked together to make the first part of the ramp,

but now we're making our features separately.

GIRL : My feature is called the "Rainbow Spinner."

Yay!

My feature is called the "Bell Ringer."

You put this at the end of the ramp,

and then it will be able to hit the Bell Ringer.

(clinking)

My special feature is to make a little road

out of rubber bands

that makes sound.

(twanging)

GIRL : I think that it's fun

because you're able to work together,

and you get to experiment with different things.

BOY: My advice is to take your time,

don't rush, and have fun.

♪ ♪

PINKALICIOUS: "Frost Fairy."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): I love dreaming about unicorns and pink cupcakes and...

(snoring)

Snoring?

Who's making that noise?

(snoring continues)

(gasps): Oh!

(snoring)

Peter, come look!

Look!

(yawning)

Oh, a fairy!

Yes!

And it doesn't look like any fairy

I've ever seen before.

I want a better look.

(snoring, snorts)

(yawning)

Ugh, where did all that warm air come from?

It woke me up.

"Woke up"?

I... I woke up?

So did we.

Because... uh...

(chuckling): Someone was snoring.

But... that means I fell asleep.

(clearing throat): What time is it?

Early in the morning.

(gasps): Morning!

But.. that means I've been asleep all night!

We always sleep at night.

But I'm a Frost Fairy.

Felix, the Pinkville Frost Fairy.

Hi, Felix, I'm Peter,

and this is my big sister, Pinkalicious.

We've never met a frost fairy before.

Um...

What is a Frost Fairy?

Frost fairies paint the patterns on windows

when it's cold outside.

Oh. Oh.

You know,

the ones that make frosty mornings so beautiful.

Like this.

(crackling)

Wow. Wow.

You humans think all this beauty just happens,

but let me tell you, it takes a lot of work.

Brr!

It's cold!

(chuckles)

That's because I paint with ice crystals,

teeny, tiny bits of frozen water.

It's lovely.

Thank you.

But that's just one window.

It's my job to paint all the windows in Pinkville

before anyone wakes up.

(sadly): I'll never do that now.

I've ruined this morning for everyone.

No, you haven't!

Because we will help you.

Mommy!

(quickly): Is it okay if we help Felix the Frost Fairy?

He has to paint patterns on all the windows in town!

Please?

(yawning): Okay.

Just, you know, be back in time for breakfast.

Yay! Yay!

(door closes)

Aren't you warm in those jackets?

Um... yes?

That's why we wear them.

Humans are so strange.

I do not like being warm at all.

It's not comfortable.

(shudders)

(clears throat)

Okay, let's get started.

Here.

♪ ♪

I'll do the icy patterns up here.

You do the icy patterns down there.

Ready, set, go!

(crackling)

I said, "Ready, set, go,"

not, "Ready, set, don't do anything."

You did say, "Go."

We just... don't know how to.

Oh.

(chuckling): That's easy!

Paint a pattern of leaves and ferns and spirals.

Off you go!

Um...

Still not clear?

Uh... no. Okay!

Well, the secret to a good pattern

is that it repeats.

Repeats.

Well done.

One picture on its own is pretty.

But if you draw it again...

and again...

and again,

then it's a pattern.

I actually like to alternate, draw one thing,

then another.

I think I get it.

One thing...

and then another.

Nice.

Now repeat that, and you've got a pattern.

Okay.

So one thing...

and then, another!

(crackling)

What?

Oh, is this okay?

It's amazing!

I never thought of doing baseball caps.

I usually just do the same things.

But this,

this is new.

This is cool, very cool.

In fact...

It's frosty.

What else can you do?

♪ ♪

(crackling)

PINKALICIOUS: We can paint zigzags.

And blocks.

(crackling)

And circles.

(crackling)

FELIX: You two have so many ideas.

Oh, this is so much fun.

I never want to stop.

Although it might be nice to have more than one color.

♪ ♪

(crackling)

♪ ♪

(crackling)

Well, if I can't paint with color,

maybe I can paint on color.

♪ ♪

(crackling)

Oh!

Pinkamazing!

I have to paint roses here.

(crackling)

FELIX: We did it!

The whole town is so frosty.

Thank you so much.

That was funtastic!

But it's actually nice to stop.

My arm is so tired.

Would you like to come in?

(chuckling): Oh, no.

It looks far too warm and cozy in there.

I'm off to my nice, cold fairy house.

Bye, Pinkertons!

Bye, Felix! Bye, Felix!

Oh, no.

Felix the Frost Fairy forgot one of his paintbrushes.

I wonder how this works.

Oh, that was cold!

PINKALICIOUS: Ooh.

The paintbrush is turning the floor frosty!

You better pick it up.

(struggling, frost crackling)

It's stuck.

(skidding)

Whoa, frost is really slippy!

Whew, I've got it.

Ouf.

No, I don't.

Help?

I'm coming!

(frost crackling)

Here.

Whoa!

Ouf!

(laughing)

We need something to hold onto.

Then we can pull ourselves up.

PETER: The table!

Slide me over there.

Whee!

Oh, no, that's slippy, too.

(shivering): And it's getting colder.

Brr!

(yawning): Hey, kids.

Have you seen the beautiful patterns on the window...

(yelping)

I've never seen anything so beaut...

(Mommy and Daddy yelping)

Whoa!

Whoa! Whoa!

ALL: Ouf!

Pinkalicious? Peter?

Why is our floor now an ice rink?

And why is the house getting...

(shivering): So cold?

(shivering): Well...

It all started when I heard the snoring...

(knock on window)

Hello!

Oh, who's this?

That's Felix, Mommy.

He's the frost fairy we told you about!

(shivering): He's why the house is so cold!

Hello, Pinkertons!

With all that rushing,

I completely forgot one of my paintbrushes.

(shivering): Yes, we know.

(shivering): Can you help us defrost our house?

But...

It's so lovely and cold in here.

Why would you want to defrost?

Oh!

Felix, imagine you had a big warm coat on.

(shivering): And you were sitting down by a crackling fire

with a mug of steaming-hot tea.

(shudders)

No, thank you.

That sounds very uncomfortable.

(shivering): Well, that's how we feel when we're cold.

Oh, really?

Huh.

Oh, well, defrost yourselves, then.

(shivering): But how?

That's easy!

Think warm thoughts.

(shivering): Hot chocolate?

Warmer than that.

Slippers.

Mmm.

Warmer.

Oh, soup.

Warmer!

Pancakes!

Warmer!

Hugs!

ALL: Yes! A group hug!

♪ ♪

(frost cracking, water dripping)

(gasps): We didn't slip.

The frost and cold are all gone.

Yay!

Thank you, Felix!

Eh, don't mention it.

(shudders)

It's getting far too warm in here now.

Goodbye, Pinkertons!

I wonder if we'll ever see Felix the Frost Fairy again.

I'm sure we will.

Next time it's really cold out.

(murmuring in background)

Did you hear something?

(snoring)

Snoring!

(snoring)

(snorts, starts)

Oh, it's all right.

You've got lots of time.

We haven't even gone to sleep yet.

(sighs)

Will you help me paint the frost in the morning?

There's going to be a big freeze.

Yeah! Yeah!

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover): I can't wait to paint more frost patterns with Felix.

They're so beautiful and so much fun,

even if we have to get a little bit chilly to do them.
