Hello?! Does no one remember

Oh! Does that mean we're going

on a treasure-finding adventure?

Does it? Does it mean it?

Yes, yes, it does, my pal!

This map will lead us to the treasure

and my cat toy Featherbee!

Let's see what the map says.

Whoa-ho-ho!

[Nature Cat]: What a beautiful map. Very artsy!

[Daisy]: It says we go to the woods first.

Then the woods is where we go!

To find Bad Dog Bart Junior's treasure!

So, we're supposed to take the path

in front of the big boulder.

But there are two paths! Which one do we take?

Oh, I'm not sure. The map only has the one path.

Butterfly has a good question.

She wants to know what those colour marks are

in front of the path on the map.

[gasps] Maybe it's a clue!

Look at the question mark. I think it might be a clue

about which path to take.

[Hal]: Hmm... We got blue, yellow, red,

blue, yellow, red, blue, yellow...

Wait, that reminds me of something.

Look, look! It's like how I was drawing the caterpillar.

[Squeeks]: The stripes. The stripes were green, black,

green, black with yellow spots, green, black, green,

black with yellow spots.

Well, the caterpillar's stripes are a pattern.

A pattern? Of course they're a pattern!

[chuckling] But one question.

Um, what is a pattern?

Remember, patterns are something that repeat over and over again

in a way that lets you know what comes next.

So, is Bad Dog Bart Junior trying to make a pattern too?

[Squeeks]: Blue, yellow, red.

Blue, yellow, red.

Blue, yellow...

[Daisy]: Red is next!

Why would she want red to be next?

Red! It's the clue for which path to take!

Look!

[Nature Cat]: That tree has red leaves!

It marks the right path!

Man-oh-man! The red tree!

That's what Bad Dog Bart Junior's map follows.

That was a clue to the right path to take!

Oh, she is so very bad!

And so very clever!

And a great artist, you know, I'm just saying.

Then our quest continues

for the treasure and for Featherbee!

[Nature Cat]: Tally-ho!

[Nature Cat laughing]

Okay, g*ng.

Me thinks our treasure quest continues

into one of these caves.

You're probably right, Natche.

What does the map say, Daise?

which cave entrance to go into!

Alas, it seems like I will never feel Featherbee's

feathery tickly feathers on mine cheek again.

Nay, nay!

I mean, I know she's a baddie,

but also such a good artist.

Ya know? Look at that little spiral thingie

before the cave. That's great.

Oh! I love it! It reminds me of Caravaggio.

Spiral thingie? Let's see that.

[Daisy]: Hey, this is like my spiral aloe plant

in my garden!

It goes around, and around, and around.

And around, and around, and around, and around?

Hahaha! Sounds like another pattern! I'm just saying.

Hal, that's it! You're a genius!

You hear that, butterfly friend?

For the first time this season,

they called me a genius!

So, if we keep the spiral pattern going on this map,

around, and around, and around.

Oh!

[Daisy]: It points to the middle cave entrance!

Featherbee, hold on!

We are coming for you!

Tally-ho!

Haha! I feel in my heart

we are getting closer to the treasure chest

and to my beloved Featherbee!

Nothing can stop us now!

[all screaming]

I gotta stop saying that!

[screaming]

Where are we?

Looks to me like we are in a cavern.

So, our treasure quest comes to an end.

Here. And I must face reality

that I will never see my Featherbee again.

[Daisy]: No, Nature Cat!

I think this is where we want to be!

[Daisy]: The treasure is here! Look!

Yes! Haha!

The dream lives! Now what?

[Daisy]: X marks the spot of the treasure!

We just need to find the X!

There's no X, man! Just all these weird symbols.

[Nature Cat]: Bad Dog Bart Junior,

you clever little baddie!

Hey, that's it, Nature Cat!

She used patterns for clues.

Hey, yeah! Maybe this is a pattern too!

Uh, I really don't see any patterns here.

Me either.

Me either neither too

too also as well.

[Nature Cat]: Wait a minute! The butterfly!

The butterfly knows the pattern?

Tell us, oh wise butterfly!

[Nature Cat]: One side of the wing is a reflection

of the other side.

[Squeeks]: Oh, yeah. The wings are exact

She's just bad enough and clever enough.

Clever girl.
