Man [ on television]: believe it or not, each of you

Left his greasy, grimy fingerprints

On the m*rder w*apon

And each of you had his own twisted and pathetic motive.

And that, my friends

Is why I've called you here this evening.

You see, through careful examination of the facts

And consideration of the evidence

I have deduced that the k*ller is none other than...

Both: hmm...

Hmm...

Huh.

Mm-hmm...

The blood-sucking electric company!

Just because I can't pay the bill

Doesn't mean they should shut off the power!

[ Buzzing]

I'm going to give them a piece of...

Dog: firefly! Firefly!

Firefly! Firefly!

Firefly! Firefly!

Cat: down, boy!

Firefly! Firefly!

Firefly! Firefly! Firefly! Firefly!

Firefly... Come back here

You firefly.

Man! News flash, cat:

When you don't pay your electric bill

My tv don't work and that's unacceptable.

I've already ordered the fight.

Don't start with me, freeloader.

[ Dog babbling]

[ Panting]

Geesh, look at that dog.

What a dynamo.

He's just bursting with energy.

No kidding!

Hey... No kidding.

Great idea, winslow.

Eh... What is?

You'll see.

And it better work

Or I'm going to have to have a lot more bright ideas

To keep the house lit up.

Keep running, dog.

You'll get that turkey leg sooner or later.

Okey-dokey, cat.

Oh, my two favorite things: running and food.

Throw in some garbage and this would be heaven!

[ Panting]

Good thinking, cat.

What a fight!

Ahh...

No more electric bills ever again.

Hey, I could sell electricity

At a fraction of the power company's prices

And still make a profit!

[ Chuckles evilly]

[ People murmuring]

Cat: plug in, my good man.

[ Cash register ringing]

[ Electricity crackling]

[ Panting quickly]

[ Electricity buzzing as dog pants]

[ Playing loud chords]

[ Music begins playing]

[ Adding machine clicking]

[ Panting]

Almost there!

Oh, if I just had a pair of tongs.

[ Straining]

Far, but still running.

[ Panting]

[ Gasping]

That's my boy.

[ Crash]

I'm from the electric company.

Mind if I plug in?

Why, sure.

[ Giggling]

Go right ahead.

[ Electricity crackles]

[ Machinery starts humming]

Oh, I'm rich.

I'm rich!

And I'll be rich forever!

Still running...

[ Panting slows]

Dog loves to run.

Ho-ho-ho, dog, what are you doing?

Keep moving, come on!

Everyone's counting on you!

[ Weakly]: can't catch meat.

Oh, sure, sure you can, just run faster.

Very tired... Kind of bored.

Okay, okay.

What we need is some live bait.

Yes!

[ Chuckles]

Don't worry, eddie, my boy.

You'll be perfectly safe.

All you got to do is egg him on.

No problem.

Egging on is my specialty.

Leave it to me.

I am the albert einstein of egging on.

[ Dog panting]

You call that running?

It looks like you're crawling

Through melted marshmallows

So pick up those puppies, puppy!

[ Blowing raspberry]

[ Panting faster]

Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel

Squirrel, squirrel!

I got to get the squirrel!

[ Electricity crackling]

[ Appliances rumbling and whirring]

Stick your head in a...

Dog: you can't talk to me like that.

[ Growling]

[ Snoring]

Hey, dog, what's the rumpus?

No rumpus-- I am about to catch the squirrelly.

What are you, nuts?

Take a look around.

The squirrel's asleep

And you still can't catch him.

But...

You're cat's prisoner.

But, cat said...

It doesn't matter what cat says.

It's what you see.

You gots no freedom

And you're never going to catch that squirrel.

What? Huh?

Get the squirrel... Watch me do it!

Um, one... Two...

How many cups in a whole bag?

[ Doorbell rings]

Hey, cat, that must be your friend sally.

[ Yelps]

Sally can't see the house like this!

Okay, then I won't let her in--

Yes, good thinking!

I can take her out on the town instead...

[ Yelling]

Which way

To the front door?

Don't you worry, safari boy, I will lead you there.

Dog: I don't think we'll be able to squeeze through.

But not to worry, I'll have it done in a jiffy.

[ Laughing]

[ Heavy thudding]

We're almost done, cat.

Sally! Come on, dog, chop-chop!

No, no, no, no, wait!

But my friend cat has to get to the front door

So he can...

Leave, or me feed you to animals.

Dog, let me take care of this.

[ Huffing angrily]

Yeah?

What animals?

[ Screams wildly]

[ Thud]

Oh.

That's right.

Go home to your mother, scaredy cat.

[ Chuckling]

Cat, I think that there may be snakeses around here.

Oh really, do you think?

[ Doorbell rings]

Dog, we got to get the door!

You betcha, cat.

Uh, me think me hear something.

Get him!

You're k*lling me!

Oh, no.

No, ooh, no, stop!

Ooh! E-a-i-o, please!

Winslow needs our help.

Sally![ Doorbell rings]

Dog, I have to answer the door.

But winslow's in trouble.

But sally is waiting.

He needs our help.

[ Screams]

We're coming to get you.

Just hold on there, little buddy.

It's going to be...

Winslow: oh, you're k*lling me!
