02x20 - The Haunted Shipyard Mystery

Post by bunniefuu »

Welcome to Plum Landing.

"The Haunted Shipyard Mystery."

- Whoa! - Whoa!

[laughing]

[pop]

OLIVER: I can't see.

BRAD: Ow, is that a mouse?!

OLIVER: That's my foot!

Where are we?

Hey, Plum, are we in the right place?

You are!

You're in the haunted shipyard.

Haunted!

Awesome!

- By what! - By what!

[clears throat]

I'll read the report.

"Several workers at the shipyard

"have seen a large flying creature

and heard strange shrieks."

"I didn't use to believe in ghosts or vampires,"

said Marcus Doolittle, a welder.

"But I do now."

Your job, Brad and Oliver, is to solve this mystery.

Because curious Blorbians want to know.

If it gets too scary, I'll bubble you back.

Ha, Brad might get scared, but I won't.

Are you kidding?!

I'm ten times braver than you, probably times!

Whatever.

We'll be fine, Plum, don't worry.

Bye, Plum!

Let's see what we got: tripod, rain gear, rope, water,

nets. [Brad groans]

energy bars.

Ghost Away spray?

Trumpet? [chuckles]

[Brad groans]

Let's do this!

[Brad groaning]

So if something passes by, the plink will record it?

Yup, any sudden motion will trigger this switch.

[loud shrieking]

What was that?

[loud shrieking]

[both yelling]

[yelling]

[panting]

Was that a vampire?

How would I know?

I saw this movie, "Vampires on Parade."

Could you not tell me this right now?

I knew it, I knew I was braver than you!

Ah! That's no vampire, that's a ghost!

With wings?

Well, yeah.

Some ghosts have wings.

It grabbed a rat.

Ghosts don't eat rats.

Well, what kind of crazy thing with wings would swoop down

and grab a rat?

I don't know, a bird?

Good thinking, dude.

Let's check the plink.

Let's try slow-mo.

Whoa, that's a peregrine falcon!

We studied them in school.

[loud squawk]

Ah!

Whoa!

I don't think it's happy to see us.

It probably thinks we're taking all the rats.

Hey, bird, you can have them, we don't eat rats!

Bull's-eye!

There's the nest.

No wonder it dive-bombed us, it's protecting the babies.

OLIVER: I don't get it, though.

I thought falcons lived on cliffs and stuff.

Why are they in the city?

It actually makes perfect sense.

Totally!

This website says falcons can handle cities just fine.

There's plenty of food.

It's probably easier to find food

with all the street lights around.

And when you've got narrow streets

with buildings on both sides, the wind makes an updraft,

and birds love to fly in that.

Awesome work, guys!

One more mystery solved, thanks to you.

Did you hear that, Blorbians?

No ghosts or vampires in the shipyard.

[disappointed groans]

I hear ya.

A vampire would've been way cool.

Oh, oh! I know this awesome movie

called "Vampires on Parade."

Can we watch it, Plum?

The Blorbians would love it!

I'm grabbing the popcorn right now.

[cheering and exclaiming]

[laughing]
