Today, Miss Elaina wants to find a bandage

that's just right for her.

Later, I'm playing with Chrissie and Prince Wednesday

at the playground!

Guess what?

Today, I'm going with Miss Elaina and her mom to--

Miss Elaina: --make some music!

[giggles]

Daniel: [to viewer] You can come too!

[giggles]

Neighborhood Music Wall is a new place

where everyone in the Neighborhood can make music!

Lady Elaine: That's right!

There are lots of things to tap,

ding, and drum-ba-dum-bum!

Daniel/Miss Elaina: [giggle]

Lady Elaine: Let's make some...

[silly voice] ...muuuuuuuusic!

Daniel: Tigertastic! Miss Elaina: Yayy!

Daniel/Miss Elaina: Can we play too?

Lady Elaine: Go ahead!

Use these.

Miss Elaina: Wait, uh...

[struggling] Umph!

Daniel/Miss Elaina: Umph! Erggg!

Daniel: It's so...high!

Ugh!

All the instruments are too high up,

for us to play.

Lady Elaine: Huh. You're right.

That doesn't seem fair.

The Music Wall is for everyone,

so the instruments should be

where you can use them too.

Daniel/Miss Elaina: ♪ When we see something that isn't fair, ♪

Daniel: What can we do?

Lady Elaine: Hmmm...

We can move the instruments

from waaaaaay up here...

Daniel: Yay! Miss Elaina: Yes!

Daniel:Thank you!

Miss Elaina: So much better! Thanks, mom!

Lady Elaine: You're welcome.

Now you can play some [silly voice] muuuuuuuusic!

[laughs]

Daniel: Listen to... [ding] thiiiis!

[giggles]

Miss Elaina: Listen to...

[tapping] [deep silly voice]...thiiiiis!

[giggles]

Daniel: [giggles] [tapping]

[bell ringing]

Woah! Look at the bell...

...dancing!

Miss Elaina: [imitating the music]

Daniel: I like making music

on the Neighborhood Music Wall.

[to viewer] Did you know all these things could make music?

Heyyy, do you want to make-believe with me?

Let's make-believe that everything

in the Neighborhood makes music!

[bell ringing]Lady Elaine: Beautiful music-making!!!

[triangle dings]Miss Elaina: I love the Neighborhood Music Wall!

Daniel: Tigertastic! [tapping]

Lady Elaine: Well, I think it's time for us to head home!

Daniel/Miss Elaina: Okay!

Daniel: I like making music like...

[mimes playing his mallet] ♪ Tap-a tap-a tap-a!

Miss Elaina: [giggles] Tap-a! Tap-a! Tap..

Ouch!

Mom, I hurt my hand!

Lady Elaine: Oh, Elaina-berry...

Hmm, looks like you have a scratch.

We should cover it with a bandage,

but I don't have one with me.

Oh, maybe we can ask Dr. Anna for help!

[knock-knock]

Hello, Dr. Anna?

Could you please help us?

Dr. Anna: Sure!

What happened, Miss Elaina?

Miss Elaina: I have a scratch.

Dr. Anna: Let's see.

A bandage will help.

I'll go get some from my office.

Lady Elaine: Thank you, Dr. Anna.

Daniel: Are you okay, Miss Elaina?

Miss Elaina: Yeah, I'm okay.

Dr. Anna: Here we go.

I'm just going to wipe your scratch, to clean it...

And apply some cream...

There.

Miss Elaina: It feels better.

Thank you so, so, so much, Dr. Anna!

Dr. Anna: [playful] You're so, so, so welcome.

Now let's cover it with a bandage

to help it stay clean

while it's getting better.

There!

Miss Elaina: [disappointed] Awww.

Daniel: [concerned] What's wrong?

Is your bandage too big?

Miss Elaina: No, it's not that.

This bandage is too...

light.

It doesn't look like my body.

I think I need a darker bandage

that looks like my skin.

See?

That's mommy's color, not mine.

Lady Elaine: Hmm, you're right.

It doesn't match your beautiful brown skin.

Maybe, Dr. Anna has another bandage.

Dr. Anna: Actually, I'm sorry Miss Elaina,

that's the only bandage color I've been able to find.

I haven't found bandages that look like me either.

Daniel: [empathetic] That's not fair.

Miss Elaina: [curious] Why are there only

light-colored bandages?

Lady Elaine: That's a good question.

Dr. Anna: Yes, it's something I've wondered about before.

Lady Elaine: You should be able to have a bandage

that looks like your skin color.

Dr. Anna: I agree.

Maybe we can help.

The Crayon Factory can make all sorts of colorful things,

even bandages!

We can go and make them right now!

Daniel: [excited] Whoa!

Miss Elaina: Can I help?

Dr. Anna: I'd also like to help.

Daniel: Me too!

Lady Elaine: We can do it, together!

C'mon!

Trolley: [ding-ding]Miss Elaina: Let's go!

Daniel: Okay!

Lady Elaine: Trolley, to the Crayon Factory, please!

Trolley: [ding-ding]

Miss Elaina: ♪ So we can make new bandages ♪

Lady Elaine: Welcome, everyone!

Daniel: Tigertastic!

Miss Elaina: Boomerific!

Lady Elaine: We can find the color that matches

your skin in here!

Miss Elaina: Thank you, mommy!

Daniel: There are soooo many colors!

Miss Elaina: That's not it.

Hmm...

This is the color I want!

It looks like me!

Daniel: Grr-ific!

Miss Elaina: Mom! We found the color that matches my body!

Lady Elaine: You found just the right color for you!

Dr. Anna: Wonderful!

Miss Elaina: I can't wait to see my new bandage!

Daniel: Me too!

I love love love it!

[giggles]

Dr. Anna: And now we have bandages

that are just right for you.

Miss Elaina: Boomerific!

Dr. Anna: And thanks to you Miss Elaina,

now we know how to make more bandages

that are just right for me,

and our other neighbors too!

Daniel: [to viewer] Some things weren't fair today,

so we worked together to do something

to show we care!

Ugga Mugga!

Daniel: [ to viewer] Let's go see some neighbors!

♪♪

♪ [playful music]

Children: Welcome to the playground!

♪♪

Boy: This is my favorite playground,

because everyone can play.

♪♪

Parent: [off screen] You look wonderful!

Girl: Whoa!

Children: Wheee!

♪♪

♪ [gentle music]

♪♪

♪ [playful music]

Parent: [off screen] [laughs] Can you put your hands up?

Whoaa! [laughs]

Child : Push you as high as I can!

Parent: There you go. Child : Whoaa!

Child : So both of his feet go up in the air!

Daniel: [to viewer] That was so much fun!

♪ [playful music]

Daniel: [to viewer] Hi, Neighbor!

It's me, Daniel Tiger!

Today, Mom and I are going to the playground

to meet my friends.

I can't wait!

Mom Tiger: Ready to go?

Daniel: Ready!

[giggles] [to viewer] You can come too!

Trolley: [ding-ding]

Mom: Hello, Trolley.

Please take us to the playground!

Trolley: [ding-ding]

Daniel: ♪ We're going to the playground, ♪

♪ to swing and slide and play!

♪ Won't you ride along with me? ♪

Mom: ♪ Ride along!

Daniel: ♪ Won't you ride along with meeee? ♪

Trolley: [ding-ding]

Daniel: [excited] We're here! We're here!

♪♪

Daniel: Thanks, Trolley! Mom: Thank you, Trolley!

Trolley: [ding-ding]

[kids giggling]

Mom: Hi, King Friday!

King Friday: A rrrrroyal hello!

Daniel: Hi, Prince Wednesday!

Prince Wednesday: Hello-hello-hello,

to my friend, Daniel Tiiiger!

[giggles]

Daniel: I'm going on the swings!

Wanna come?

Prince Wednesday: Yup! As soon as

we're done with our snack.

Daniel: Okay. Meet ya there!

Hi, Chrissie!

Miss Elaina: [giggles] Chrissie: Hiya, Daniel!

Katerina: [giggles] Daniel: Are you waiting

for the swings?

Chrissie: No. You can go next.

Daniel: Thank you!

Miss Elaina: Sing the song again, Chrissie!

Katerina Kittycat: Pleeeeeease, meow meow?

[giggles]

Chrissie: [giggles] Okay!

[chant] Swinging back and forth so high,

Up and down to touch the sky!

Daniel: [to viewer] I can't wait for my turn on the swing!

Elaina/Katerina/Chrissie: [chanting] Swinging back

and forth so high,

Up and down to touch the sky!

[giggling]

Daniel: [to viewer] Katerina's done. It's my turn!

Katerina: Bye-bye!

[giggles]

Daniel: [upset] Ahh...

Prince Wednesday: Boop-she-boop-she-swiiiiiing!

[giggles]

Weeeee!

[giggles] Weeee!

[giggles]

Daniel: [upset] But...

[to viewer] I was going to go next.

Chrissie: Did Prince Wednesday take your turn, Daniel?

Daniel: [sad] Yes.

King Friday: Hmmm...

[calls out] Prince Wednesday?

Prince Wednesday: Yes, Dad?

King Friday: It sounds like Daniel was waiting for a turn

and you went in front of him.

It's only fair to let him have his turn first.

Prince Wednesday: I'm sorry, Daniel.

Daniel/Miss Elaina: [chanting] Swinging back and forth so high,

Up and down to touch the sky!

[giggle]

Chrissie: [off screen] I, Captain Chrissie,

will sail us across the blue ocean!

Daniel: [to viewer] I'm gonna see what Chrissie

and Prince Wednesday are doing!

Miss Elaina: Okay! I'm gonna keep swinging!

Daniel: Okay!

Miss Elaina: [giggles]

Chrissie: Ahoy, Sailor Daniel!

Welcome to our ship!

Are you ready for an adventure at sea?

Daniel: Grr-ific!

Yes!

I'm looking for dolphins!

Chrissie: Look out for whales too.

Prince Wednesday: Aye-aye, Captain Chrissie!

All: [giggling]

Daniel: [to viewer] I hope we see a whale,

or a sea turtle!

Heyyyy...

do you want to make-believe with me?

Let's make believe

we're sailing on a biiig ship in the ocean!

♪ [sparkly transition]

♪ [playful music]

Daniel/Chrissie/Prince Wednesday: ♪ Captain Chrissie

♪ Is sailing across the sea.

Daniel: ♪ A whale comes up to say hi! ♪

♪ Dolphins swim by our side

Daniel/Chrissie/Prince Wednesday: ♪ Here we go,

♪ as the wind blows!

Daniel: ♪ Ahoy!

♪ A sea turtle family, swimming by merrily! ♪

All: ♪ Captain Chrissie

Daniel: ♪ It's Chrissie!

All: ♪ Sailing on the sea!

Daniel: ♪ Yeah!

♪ [sparkly transition]

[giggles]

[to viewer] Wasn't that grr-ific?

Chrissie: Sailor Daniel!

Let's board our ship and set sail!

Daniel: Aye Aye, Captain!

Prince Wednesday: Let's go!

Daniel: Where are we sailing, Captain Chrissie?

Chrissie: [off screen] [struggling]

Daniel: [confused] Captain Chrissie?

Chrissie: [struggles]

[frustrated sigh]

These stairs are too tall for me to climb.

Prince Wednesday: Oh no!

What can we do?

Daniel: So...

you can't climb aboard the ship?

Chrissie: No...

[frustrated sigh] I can't.

Prince Wednesday: But... you're the Captain of our ship!

And we want you to play up there with us!

Chrissie: Me too!

Daniel: It isn't fair that we can climb up to the top,

but you can't.

Prince Wednesday: What can we do?

Chrissie: Well...

Let's talk to the grown-ups!

[calls out] Uncle Friday!

Daniel: [calls out] Mom!

Mom: Hey there. What's going on?

King Friday: Is everything all right?

Chrissie: No. I want to play up there!

[sighs] But the stairs are too steep

for me to climb with my crutches.

King Friday: This won't do!

Chrissie, what would help make it easier for you

to climb to the top?

Chrissie: Well...

they built a ramp at my school..

Uh!

It helps me a lot,

so I don't have to climb up the stairs.

we try to do something about it.

[official] I rrrrroyally decree that together,

we will build a ramp for our playground.

Mom: I can help with that!

Chrissie: I think that would work!

Mom: [proud] I'd love your help.

Prince Wednesday: I want to help too!

Mom: [chuckles] Well then, let's get started!

Miss Elaina/Katerina: [giggling]

Chrissie: Join me up here!

Chrissie: Ahoy!

I see...

jellyfish ahead!

Do you see them too, sailors?

Prince Wednesday: Oooh! Daniel: Oh, oh!

I think I see them too.

Prince Wednesday: Where? Where are they?

Miss Elaina: [deep voice] Down here!

[giggles] I'm a jellyfish!

[giggles]

Katerina: Me too, meow meow!

Kids: [giggling]

Prince Wednesday: A rrrrroyal hello, jellyfish!

Daniel: Whoohoo!

Miss Elaina: [giggles] Jelly-belly fish!

Chrissie: Ahoy friends!

Miss Elaina: [giggles] Katerina: Wooo, whoa!

Kids: [giggles]

Daniel: [to viewer] Now Chrissie can climb our pretend ship!

When we saw something that wasn't fair,

we did something to show we care.

And I care about you too, Neighbor.

Did you know that my favorite animal is a giraffe?

[giggles]

I love reading stories about them too.

about Ginger the Giraffe.

[reading] 'Ginger is as tall as can be.

She can eat the tallest leaf on any tree.'

'Ginger's spots are all different

from her head to her toes.

Look at this heart-shaped one,

right near her nose!' [giggles]

[laughs]

'Ginger loves running fast with her friends.

There she goes!'

[laughs]

Bye bye, Ginger!

Now, I'll add this to my bookshelf

so my patients can enjoy it.

There we go!

I keep books down on this shelf,

so that all of our neighbors can reach them.

I love reading about giraffes.

I wonder if someone in your neighborhood
