I wonder where my monkey is!

[POP! / GIGGLES]

So that's where you've been hiding!

Oh!

Oh no!

[GROAN] Grandpa, Grandpa!

What's the matter, Franny?

My jack-in-the-box is broken!

I can't play with him anymore.

Don't give up on him too soon.

A dab of glue should do the trick!

Okay.

Grandpa, I can still see the cracks!

Sorry, Franny, your Grandpa can't make cracks go away.

But let's see what happens when the glue dries.

[SIGH]

[BELL RINGS]

A customer!

And what can we do for you.

Looks like your shoes could use a good clean-up!

Oh, don't bother.

I'll just splash paint on them again!

Then how about two new heels?

Yes, please!

These ones are worn down to the ground!

I'll heel them in no time flat!

Could you put these shoes in the fix-it-box?

I hope all this paint is dry!

Where will my feet take me today?

[TWINKLES]

[FRANNY HUMMING]

AAAhhhhh! Oh no, I'm going to get splashed!

Huh?

It's just a picture!

Hmmm...

Hello!

Hi.

I guess I need to be quiet!

My name is Franny.

Hold it!

[GASP]

It looks like you're telling Penny a secret!

That's just what my painting needs!

You're an inspiration, Franny!

You gave my Dad an idea of something to paint.

Huh?

Ohhhhh!

That's why there are so many paintings here!

He's an artist.

Yes, and artists are always

looking for inspiration!

Now, now, wiggle-bunnies!

Try not to move.

You have to stay as still as a statue!

[GIGGLES] It's hard to stay still!

I know! I pose for my dad all the time.

But today I'm extra excited!

He's going to trade a painting

for a bicycle -- just for me!

I never had a bike before.

Wonderful wheelies!

Getting your very first bike is frantabulous!

[GIGGLE]

Can you two stop wiggling and

giggling so I can paint your picture?

[MORE GIGGLING]

Okay, squirmy-wormies,

I think it's time for a break.

Yay! Let's look at the painting!

Wow! It looks just like us!

Your dad is a frantastic artist!

Come and see his other paintings!

That's me in front of the lighthouse.

That's a funny colour for dirt!

It's red!

Rusty red.

The dirt really is red here on the Island!

I like this one the most.

Hello, cow!

Helloooo, Franny!

It talked!

Moooo!

[LAUGHTER]

That's the painting our neighbour wants to trade for a bicycle.

[CAR HORN HONKS]

That must be her now.

I hope our neighbour brought my new bike!

Me too!

Penny! It's here!

Yay!

[LAUGHING]

[GASP]

It's not a new bike!

It's an old bike.

Somebody has been riding it a lot!

Our neighbour's daughter grew too big for it this year.

Isn't that lucky?

I suppose so.

Yessirree, these wheels have

lots of kilometers left in them.

If you don't grow too fast,

you'll be able to ride it for years!

Oh great.

What a nifty trade, eh Penny?

Sure, Dad. Thanks.

Penny looks sad. Hmmm.

I know!

Why don't you try out your new old bicycle!

Fine idea, Franny!

Where to, Penny?

That red dirt path looks nice.

It is! It goes to the park by the seaside.

I'll bring my art things along

in case I get an inspiration!

I don't want to ride that bike.

Don't worry, Penny.

It has training wheels.

You won't fall over!

[SIGH]

Hmmm...

I want to ride my old tricycle.

Are you sure you don't want

to give your bike a spin?

I'll ride the bike.

Then we can take turns at the park!

Okay, then. Let's roll!

[GIGGLE] Wheeee!

Ahhh, blue sky, sparkling ocean, green trees!

There's plenty of inspiration here!

[GIGGLING]

Penny, this bike is frantabulously fun to ride --

even if it is old!

I can ride in a line.

I can ride in a circle!

You're a good bike rider!

You try it!

[SIGH]

What's the matter, Penny?

I wish that old bike was a new bike.

But it still rides really well.

Uh-oh!

Pen-ny! Fran-ny!

Let's head home before we're soaking wet!

Okay, Dad!

[LAUGHING]

Dry yourselves off!

And don't forget to wipe down the bike and trike!

[GIGGLES] Looks like it's been splashed with red paint!

Hmmmm.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

If we give this old bike a paint job,

maybe it'll look like a whole new bike!

I can't wait! Let's paint!

What colour do you want it to be?

I can't decide!

Look!

Oooo! Wow!

A rainbow! That gives ME an inspiration!

It's not an old bicycle anymore.

It's a new work of art!

I love it! Thanks, Dad.

Thanks, Franny!

Ready to give it a whirl?

Yes, please!

Have a wheely nice ride, Penny!

See you later, Franny.

Bye, Franny!

Yahoooooo! [Laugh]

Bye! Bye!

[TWINKLES]

That was painteriffic! [GIGGLE]

[GIGGLE] Wow!

[GIGGLE] Another treasure.

Wait a sec-eroonie!

I have another inspiration!

[GIGGLE]

The glue is dry,

but I'm afraid the cracks still show.

That's okay. Ian traded his cow painting for Penny's bicycle.

They live on an island where the mud really IS red.

We painted a rainbow!

Sounds colourful!

It was, Grandpa.

Then the old bike looked like a new bike!

Could I please have my paints?

What for, Franny?

You'll see! [GIGGLE]

Ooh! Nice paint job, Franny.

Where did the cracks go?

They're still there, Grandpa!

They're between the stripes!

And your jack-in-the-box is more colourful than ever!

Oopsie! So are my hands!

mom and dad come to pick you up.
