It helps us find things that are made of metal

like jewelry, forks and spoons, and tools.

The closer we get to something metal,

the faster it beeps.

Let's see how fast it beeps by the rocks.

[slow beeping]

Now let's listen over there by those flowers.

[fast beeping]

Did it beep faster by the rocks or the flowers?

The flowers. Yeah, come on.

[beeping]

Hmm, there must be something metal in there.

- What did we find?

A coin. Cool.

[beeping]

- Whoa, I think I found something else.

[fast beeping]

- There's definitely something metal over here.

- Let's check it out.

- [gasps]

What is it?

A spaceship.

- Wow.

It must've crash-landed right here in Umi City.

- Guys, this is an alien spaceship.

- Oh, I've always wanted to meet an alien.

- Me too.

Let's look for him.

Where's the alien?

Oh, yeah, there he is by the tree.

- Glip gloop gleep.

- I think he's saying hi to us.

- Hello, little alien.

We're Team Umizoomi.

What's your name?

- Gloopy.

- Gloopy? - Mm-hmm.

- Cool name.

- According to my Robot Computer,

Gloopy is from a planet far, far away:

Planet Gloop.

Planet Gloop is a very friendly place...

- Gleep, gleep.

- Where aliens play games...

- [laughs]

- And eat alien food...

- Yum, yum, yum.

- And sing alien songs.

all: ♪ Gleep gloop, gleep gloop, Gleep gleep gloop ♪

- Planet Gloop sounds like an amazing place.

- Gloop.

- Aw, poor Gloopy.

He really wants to go home and see his friends.

- Mm-hmm.

[gasps] Gloop gleep gleep.

Gleep gleep.

- Gloopy can't go home

because his spaceship is broken.

- [grunts] Gleep gleep.

- Hey, Gloopy's pointing to those star-shaped holes

on the spaceship.

- I wonder what belongs there.

- Gleep gloop gleep.

- [gasps] Look!

Gloopy's holding a bright green star--

a space star.

[whooshing]

- Whoa, part of the spaceship turned on.

- I bet it's the space stars that give his ship power.

- Gleep gleep!

- But, Gloopy, you need more space stars

to fill all the holes. - Gleep gleep.

- Let's count to see how many more stars we need to find.

Count the holes with us.

- You need to find more space stars

to fix your spaceship.

- Where are the other stars, Gloopy?

- Gleep gleep gleep.

- The rest of his space stars are missing.

- Aw, don't be sad, Gloopy.

We'll help you find the missing space stars.

- Yeah, then your spaceship will be fixed,

and you can fly home.

- Gleep gleep!

- But to find the space stars and fix his ship,

we're gonna need your help.

Will you help us fix Gloopy's spaceship?

Great!

- Team Umizoomi...

all: it's time for action.

[surf rock music]

- Hey, look.

Gloopy's antenna is lighting up.

- It glows whenever he senses a space star nearby.

- Gloop gloop.

- It's pointing that way toward Umi City garden.

- Come on.

Space star's this way.

- Gleep.

[bear blossoms growl]

- [squeals]

- Uh, guys, I think those flowers are growling at us.

- Uh-oh, those are bear blossoms,

and they're blocking our path.

[bear blossoms growl]

- I don't think they're gonna let us pass.

all: Mm-mm.

- Hmm.

Well, if they won't let us go past them,

we'll just have to go over them.

- Over them?

- Yeah, these mushrooms can help us bounce

over the bear blossoms.

They're called number mushrooms.

What number is on this mushroom?

, right.

That means it can bounce us units high.

- Come on.

- Let's see if that's a big enough bounce

to get us over the bears.

Boing!

- Uh, nope.

- Yikes! - [squeaks]

- We need a mushroom that can bounce us higher than .

Let's look at these mushrooms.

, yeah.

Here we go.

- Gloop gloop! - Whoa!

- Wee-hee-hee-hee!

Hoo, we made it.

- Glip gloop gleep. Hoo!

- That was awesome.

Let's keep going.

- [laughs]

[flowers growling]

- Wa-oh, but now look what's ahead of us.

[flowers growling]

- What animals do these flowers look like?

Lions, yeah.

They're lion lilies.

[lion lilies growling]

- Last time we bounced on a mushroom.

But to get over the lions,

we're gonna have to go even higher.

[laughter]

- That was an Umirrific bounce.

- Gloop gleep.

- Come on.

[flowers growling]

- Ah!

- [gulps]

What animals do these flowers look like?

Tigers.

- They're tiger daisies.

[tiger daisies growling]

- We're gonna have to go higher than

to get over the tiger daisies.

- Weee!

- Umirrific!

Let's keep going.

- Okay, team, all we need to do now is get over those...

[gulps]

Panther posies.

[panther posies growling]

- To get over the panther posies,

we're gonna have to go even higher than .

Here we go.

- Whoa! - Whoo-hoo!

- Hopping hard drives, we made it!

- And look, Gloopy, there's your space star.

- Gleep gleep!

- To fly home, Gloopy's ship needs space stars,

and we just found .

Let's keep looking.

- Remember, whenever we get near a space star,

Gloopy's antenna lights up.

So when you see Gloopy's antenna light up,

say, "Antenna!"

- [gasps]

- Antenna!

It's pointing that way.

- One of Gloopy's space stars

must be in that construction site.

- Gleep.

- Come on, team, let's go look.

- Let's use our Umi goggles to look for the space star.

Umi goggles on.

When you see the space star, say, "Space star."

Space star!

There it is at the top of the building.

- If only we had some way to get up there.

- Oh, I see a way.

Look!

I can hop on those beams to get up to the top.

- Gloop gleep.

- Okay, here I go.

Yah!

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

This beam's not balanced.

Steady...

Ah, there we go.

Nice and balanced.

Hey, look, I'm balanced

because I'm standing in the middle of the beam.

Which number is in the middle?

, yes.

Now let's jump onto that next beam.

Ah-ha, I'm balanced.

Let's keep going up.

Just a little higher and we can reach the space star.

We got the space star.

That was tricky.

All right, going down.

- Ah! - Way to go, Bot.

- You got it.

- Now, let's see.

We found of the missing space stars.

How many more do still need to find?

- Then you'll be able to fly home to Planet Gloop.

- Gloop Gloop!

[beeping]

- Ooh, I'm getting a signal.

It's coming from Planet Gloop.

- Gloop?

- Gloopy! - Gloopy!

- That's Gloopy's family.

- Gloopy!

- Look! There's his dad.

- Gloopy!

- And his brother.

- Gloop Gloop?

- And his little sister.

- Gloopy Gloop!

- Who do you think that is?

His mom, yeah.

all: Gloopy!

- They're looking for you, Gloopy.

They really miss you.

- Gloop gleep.

- Aw, you miss them too. - Mm-hmm.

- Don't worry, Gloopy.

We're gonna get you home where you belong.

- [gasps] Gloop?

- ♪ Far away out in space ♪

- ♪ There is a special place ♪

- ♪ Where family and friends play all day long ♪

- ♪ That is your home ♪

♪ It's where you belong ♪

♪ We'll get you home ♪

- ♪ Don't matter how far it is ♪

- ♪ We'll get you home ♪

- ♪ 'Cause home is where the heart is ♪

- Let's keep looking for more stars, Gloopy.

- Gleep gleep.

- If you see Gloopy's antenna light up,

say, "Antenna!"

- [gasps] - Antenna!

It's pointing that way.

- There must be a space star inside that popcorn shop.

- Gleep, gleep gleep!

- Crackling kernels, look at all this popcorn.

- We'd better spread out

and start looking for that space star.

[popcorn rustling]

- It's not in the buttered popcorn.

- It's not in the caramel corn either.

- Glip Gloop.

- Ah, wha-hee!

[popcorn rustling]

- Not in here.

[munching]

- Look, Gloopy's antenna is pointing to that big machine.

- Ooh-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo, that's the super popper.

- Let's look inside to see if we can find the space star.

When you see the space star, say, "Space star."

[kernels popping]

- Space star!

There it is.

- Gleep gleep!

- It's up there at the top of this tube.

Whoa, ha, wah! [sighs]

- Yikes, that popcorn is really popping.

- We can't run up the tube with

all that popcorn sh**ting at us.

- I can do it.

I'll get past that popcorn with my...

♪ Pattern power ♪

First, I can break a small piece of popcorn

with a chop!

Then I break another small piece

with another chop!

Then when a big piece comes,

I'll smash it with a kick!

Chop, chop, kick!

That's the pattern.

Now, quick, let's get out of here.

- All right, Milli.

- You got the space star.

[beeping]

- We've found space stars for Gloopy's ship.

How many more do we need?

more, yeah!

- Come on, let's go get that last space star.

Whenever we get near a space star,

Gloopy's antenna lights up.

So when you see Gloopy's antenna light up,

say, "Antenna!"

- [gasps]

- Antenna! Right.

It's pointing that way.

Come on.

- Murky mouse pads,

the space star's on the other side of that lagoon.

- Gloopity gleep gleep.

- Gloopy's gonna try and jump on rocks

to get to the other side.

- [growls] - Gloopy Gloop!

- There's something strange about that rock.

- Yeah, it's got eyes and teeth.

- That's not a rock.

What is it?

A crocodile.

- Oh, no, this lagoon has rocks and crocs.

To get across, we need to figure out

which ones are which.

- According to my robot computer,

the rocks have triangles and a heart.

Anything that doesn't have those shapes is a croc.

- Stick with me, Gloopy.

I'm great at finding shapes.

Remember, the rocks have triangles and a heart.

Where do you see triangles and a heart?

Right there.

That must be a rock.

Come on, Gloopy.

Let's jump.

- Gloop!

- We made it.

- [groaning]

- Phew, good thing we didn't jump on those crocs.

Okay, which of these has triangles and a heart?

That one, yeah.

- Gleep!

- All right, we're safe.

- [groaning]

- Oh, no, look!

One of the crocs is swimming toward the space star.

He wants to eat it.

- Gloop!

- Come on, we've got to get there before the croc.

Which of these has triangles and a heart?

Yeah, it's a rock.

- [groaning]

- We're almost there, Gloopy.

Quick, where should we jump?

Right there!

Come on, let's grab it.

- Gloop.

Gloop Gloop gleep!

- Way to go, Gloopy.

You got the last star. - Mm-hmm.

- Come on, let's get this back to Milli and Bot.

- The last space star!

- Now we can fix your spaceship.

- Gleep Gloop.

- Let's put the space stars back on Gloopy's ship.

[whooshing]

[beeping and whirring]

- Did we fix Gloopy's spaceship?

Yes! - Yeah-ah!

- Gleep Gloop!

Mmm. - Oh.

- Glip Gloop.

- We're gonna miss you too, Gloopy.

- Here, take this, Gloopy. - [gasps]

- It's a super shape from my shape belt.

Now, you'll always remember your trip to earth.

- Glip gleep.

- Bye, Gloopy!

- Glip Gloop!

- Good-bye, Gloopy. - Gloop Gloop!

- What a fun little guy.

- Let's make sure he got home safely.

[beeping]

Look, there he is.

- Gloopy!

- They're back together again.

- Aw, they look so happy.

- Thanks for helping us fix Gloopy's spaceship

so he could fly home.

- Yeah, you were great at finding all those space stars.

- We're really glad you're on our team.

- I feel a celebration coming on!

all: ♪ , , , ♪

♪ Let's do the crazy shake ♪

- Whoo-hoo!

- ♪ Let's celebrate ♪
