It looks like this Sport-y-thon
is going to be an intergalactic event.

This'll make the games real interestin'

because the folks from Mars

have never played
any kind of sports before.

the Sport-y-thon team,

are warmin' up for the game.

Let's listen in.

Oh, this looks like fun! How do we play?

Well, we're trying to make a basket.

You aim at the hoop and throw, like this.

[grunts]

[chuckles] Let me try that again.

[grunts]

Gosh! Missed again.

What's wrong, Earth Mickey?

Well, this is Handy-Hoops.

I'm trying to get the ball
through the hoop.

Let me try.

[Mickey] Okay. Now remember,

bend your knees, flex your elbows

and keep your eye on the basket.

[grunts]

Does that mean we've won the game?

[giggles]
Oh, we're just getting warmed up.

When the game starts,
we'll be playing against another team.

That's right, Minnie.

In the game of Handy-Hoops,

the Sport-y-thon team will play
against a team of Handy Helpers.

To win, the Sport-y-thoners
only have to make one basket.

But making even one basket won't be easy.

Ha! Not with those Handy Helpers

doin' their best to block every sh*t.

Yes! In fact...

[horn blows]

Oh! The game's startin'.
Let's get right to it.

Remember, to win,

Well, somethin' in my brain is tellin' me

usin' a jet pack to make a basket

net to catch it.

to be chased by a jet pack.

those pesky Handy Helpers.

The Sport-y-thoners
are really tying up the defense.

the Sport-y-thoners win the game.

we bring you the next event, Volley Bop!

Let's go down to Donald on the court.

What the duckster wanted
to say is that in Volley Bop,

Mickey, Pluto, Daisy
and Pluto from Pluto play as one team.

To win, they have to bop
the ball over the net

one, two, three, four,
five times in a row.

And to make it interestin',
they cannot use their hands.

The players are warmin' up.

Mickey likes to use an elbow bop.

Pluto's nose knows how to bop.

Daisy uses both her arms
to do a forearm bop.

Whoa, here's a twist!

Pluto from Pluto
has a style all his own-o.

And look how fast he is!

Okey-dokey, now. It's boppin' time!

[inhales] [still no sound]

[bell dings]

[Pete] That's one time over the net.

Whoa, Nelly! Pluto from Pluto's
playing both sides of the net.

over the net.

Hey! That was my turn!

The space doggy did it again.

-[bell dings]

[Pete] Four!

This is mine for sure.

[buzzer sounds]

Now hold on there, space pooch!

You can't play the whole game by yourself.

[beeping]

-We want to play, too.
-Yeah-yeah-yeah.

That's right, Pluto from Pluto.

Team players don't try to do
everything all by themselves.

They give their teammates
a chance to play.

Yup, that way everyone gets a turn.

[beeping]

So let's play some more Volley Bop.

And this time,

when the Volley Bop ball
goes over the net,

count along with us.

-[Daisy] Go-go-go!
-[bell dings]

[Pete] That's one.

[laughs] Back at you!

I love playing Volley Bop!

at the Clubhouse Miniature Golf Course.

But we're not here for golfing,
no-siree-bob.

This is the starting point
for the next Sport-y-thon event,

the Rockin' Roundabout Relay.

Goof, are you there?

No, I'm down here, Pete.

Well, we cleared that up.

Tell the fans at home all about
the Rockin' Roundabout Relay.

Why, I'd be glad to.

It's a big ol' race
that goes all around Mickey Park.

And there are, uh, one,

two, three parts to it.

I'm doing the first part,
the runnin' part.

Then I do the swimming part.

[bell dinging]

And I finish the race on a bicycle.

[honks horn]

Say, Goofy, what is this?

Why, that there is an hourglass.

We need it 'cause
the Rockin' Roundabout Relay

is a race against time.

We have to finish
all three parts of the race

before the sand runs through it.

Say, shouldn't there be sand in it?

[muffled] I don't think an hourglass
will work without sand.

Well then, it's a good thing
we're on a golf course.

I bet there's a sand trap
somewhere around here.

There's one! I can tell
'cause it's chock-full of sand.

[Mickey] And golf balls.

Uh-oh. An hourglass will never work

with sand that's full of golf balls.

We gotta get 'em out.

And I know how.

With a Mouseketool!

through the strings of the racket.

The golf balls are too big
to go through the strings,

but the tiny grains

the sand through the strings.

The golf balls can't get through.

The sand's runnin' down
just like it's supposed to.

Well, you'd better get a move on, Mickey!

Accordin' to the rules,
the Rockin' Roundabout Relay

has to be finished before all the sand
runs to the bottom of the hourglass.

Gosh! Pete's right.

Come on, Mickey! I gotta get you started!

Okay! On your mark, get set... Go!

Mickey! Here's some water!

all the way across Star Lake.

motorin' along to cheer Daisy on.

than a Neptunian Lungfish.

Let me help you keep up the pace

I'm not used to pedaling a bicycle.

to do all the hard work.
