-[both grunting]
-Ha-ha!

-[all] Huh?
-[sneezes]

-W-What's that noise?
-It's my sneezing.

-[whooshing]
-[all gasp]

-No, that noise.
-It's coming from that direction.

[all] Wow!

-What is it?
-It's a work of art.

I invented it. It's a crick-ta-pult.

It crick-ta-pults things into the air.

[all] Hmm?

[creaking]

Whoa.

It's fran-tabulous.

-Awesome.
-Amazing!

Belly-lisimo.

What's that mean?

[grunts] It... It means awesome.

It is awesome!

I wanna go for a ride on it!

Scientifically,
all my projections suggest that--

-I'll be fine.
-But you might go too high.

-I want to go too high.
-The highest!

I-- I don't think this is a good idea.

Of course it's a good idea.

-It's the best idea.
-The bestest ever-est idea!

-I have real safety concerns that--
-Let me go.

-Let me go.
-Wait.

[grunts] I'll make a soft landing zone.

And I'll make a helmet for your head.

[grunting]

-I think you need our help.
-I don't need anybody's help.

Just let me go!

[sighs]

Whoo-hoo!

Okay. One, two, three.

[yelling]

Oopsie.

[continues yelling]

[grunting]

[groaning]

Uh-oh.

Help.

Help.

Help.

♪ Help ♪

-[stammers] Where'd he go?
-I can't see him.

Hmm.

[all grunting]

[sighs]

We've got to find Jay.

♪ Help ♪

♪ Help ♪

[chorus] ♪ Help ♪

♪ I need somebody ♪

-[chorus] ♪ Help ♪
-♪ Not just anybody ♪

[chorus] ♪ Help ♪

Hmm.

From looking at this,
I'd say that he is...

-Uh, very far away from us.
-The further-est.

He needs somebody. Not just anybody.

-We need to get somebody's help.
-Mm-hm.

But who would be best to help us?

[all] Hmm.

[buzzing overhead]

Huh?

Oh.

Ugh.

[grunting]

Oh.

Yes!

Oh, whoa.

[Buzz] Postman Bee!

Oh, hello.

We lost Jay!

-He lost himself.
-But we found a plan.

And, uh, well, we would like you
to be part of it.

-Oh, wherever did he go?
-[all] That way.

[all] Oh.

-We don't know where he is.
-Not even a little bit.

We need a bird's-eye view.

We need... We need a bird's-eye...

We need a bird's eye's view...

from a bee.

-Could you help us?
-[chuckles] Well, well, yes.

I'll give you a bee's-eye view,

and when you find him,
I will deliver you to him.

I am a postman bee, after all,
and that's what I do: deliver things.

-Which one of you wants to ride with me?
-I'll go.

I want to come, too.

-Hold on tight.
-[laughs]

We're off to find Jay's new address.

[Jay] ♪ Help ♪

Jay's trapped in a jam jar.

He's in a jam.

[grunting]

[Jay] Postman Bee!

Hello, I have a special delivery
for you, of your friends.

-Jay!
-I knew you would find me.

Really? I thought you never
needed anybody's help in any way.

I'm sorry.
But those days are gone and now...

Now I find I've changed my mind.

[both gasp]

We better get you out.

[grunting]

[all yell, then grunt]

[all grunting]

Whoa.

-Whoa!
-[all grunt]

Does this mean I'm stuck here?

I think I have an idea.

Postman Bee, can you take us
back to the others?

-I can deliver you back.
-Awesome.

Uh... Guys, don't be too long.

[squeaks]

[sighing]

[gasps]

-At last.
-Another delivery for you, Jay.

Presenting the amazing...

Crick-ta-pult.

What?!

You'll never get that in here.

I don't need to get it in there.

-Just stand back.
-You sure this will work?

-[grunting]
-[laughing]

Whoo-hoo!

[grunting] Whoa.

[all sigh]

[gasps] Let's just push it.

[yelling]

[all grunting]

Whoa! You did it!

I never would've got out of there
without you.

Are you hurt?

Oh. [chuckles]

Just strawberry jelly.

Mmm.

Belly-licious.

Mm-hm. Delicious.

Everybody ready to fly home?

[all yelling excitedly]

[all] Thank you, Postman Bee!

Bye, b*at Bugs.

Thank you, everybody.

Thanks for all your help.

That was the best-est day ever!

Yeah, and we all learned a lesson.

Sure did. Crick-ta-pults are awesome!

And getting stuck in a jar
can be a real jam.

[all laughing]

[Jay] Let's go, come on!

[Walter speaking indistinctly]

Right in the front.

And so I say, "Oh, my goodness.
I have ruined everything."

But the audience started cheering.

I was a star!

[all cheering]

-Great story, Walter.
-Yeah, awesome!

According to the, uh, star movements,
it's past bug time.

But... But I'm not sleepy yet.

One more story, please?

Okay.

Yeah!
And, bugs, let's make it a scary one.

Yes! The scariest.

Oh, that is so not a good idea.

I mean, not that'll it'll scare me.
Oh, my goodness, no,

but what about, uh, you-know-who?

I've got a scary story.

It's kind of a crazy story...

about a crazy relative of mine,
my weird Uncle Wilbur.

And I'm telling you, no little old
blue light never scared me none.

Bad blue is more than just a light, buddy.
It's your worst nightmare.

That's nothing but a fairy tale
made up to scare little bugs.

[zapping noise]

There it goes.

If you're so brave, why don't you fly up
to bad blue right now?

Go on. I dare you.

[Kumi] Uncle Wilbur was terrified,

but he never, ever turned down a dare.

[chuckles]

Okay, Roachie boy, you're on.

Hey, pal, I was only kidding.
Just-- Hey! Stop!

[Kumi] Nobody really knows for sure
what happened next.

[zapping noise]

Oh, well. Guess he won't be needing this.

[Kumi] And weird Uncle Wilbur
was never seen again.

Not ever.

So, what's the happy ending?

Um... Well, there...

There isn't one. Sorry, Buzz.

[sighs] Okay. That's bug time.

Sweet dreams, everyone.

Sweet dreams.

Must turn back.

Must...

[screams] I'm a big bug now.

I'm not scared.

[Buzz screams]

I know, I just...

I just can't sleep 'cause bad blue,
he's all sparky in here.

Uh, I hate to be the slug
who says I told you so, but I did say--

Sorry about my story, Buzz.

Uh, hello? I was just saying,
this is exactly what I predicted.

The important thing is,
we have to find a way to help Buzz sleep.

-Any ideas?
-[sighs]

Actually, I think
I have the perfect invention.

I call this the crickto-pat-omatic.

And I calculate, uh,
it will pat a bug to sleep

in, uh, 17.26 seconds, approximately.

[moans] That's nice.

[yawns]

Ouchie!

-It may need some, uh, fine-tuning.
-Ouchie!

Ah! I'd better, ooh, take it
back to, ooh, to my workshop.

Actually, Buzz, I have
a sleep-making machine of my own.

Welcome to the softest, most jelly
belly-est bed you'll ever sleep on.

Climb aboard, Buzz.

[laughing]

It's like-- It's like swimming.

It's so much fun.

That tickles. [laughing]

[laughing]

[Buzz yelps, then groans]

Buzz, are you okay?

I feel a bit... seasick.

Huh. Sometimes the squish is just
too squishy for the squeamish.

Jay, why don't you play Buzz
a nice lullaby?

What's a lubba-ly?

Oh, it's a nice peaceful song
to soothe you to sleep.

One lullaby coming right up.

-A one, two, three, four!
-[electric guitar screeching]

[rooster crowing]

[all snoring softly]

-[zapping noise]
-[yells]

Bad blue, bad blue!

It's all right, Buzz. You're safe with us.

[all yawning]

She's still in a bad way.
We have to do something.

And I think I know what.

We have to take her
to see Lucy, the sleep doctor.

You mean Lucy
with the kaleidoscope eyes?

-Lucy the dragonfly?
-But-- But she's not a real doctor.

-Everyone says she's amazing, Crick.
-Yeah. Uh-huh.

And anyway, no one knows where she lives.

[sighs]

Wait a minute, isn't she near a bridge?

Oh, wait, wait, wait. Just wait.
I'd better draw a map.

And isn't there a fountain?
With amazing flowers?

-[Jay] Yeah, that grow incredibly high.
-Hang on, guys.

I'm getting all jumbled up.

♪ Follow her down to a bridge
By a fountain ♪

♪ Where rocking horse people
Eat marshmallow pies ♪

♪ Everyone smiles
As you drift past the flowers ♪

♪ That grow so incredibly high ♪

♪ Newspaper taxis ♪

♪ Appear on the shore ♪

♪ Waiting to take you away ♪

♪ Climb in the back
With your head in the clouds ♪

♪ And you're gone ♪

-Are you sure this is the place?
-Mm-hm.

-Maybe she's out.
-Oh, well, heh, we tried. Let's go home.

-She must be here somewhere.
-[sighs]

What's that?

Hello, Buzz. Don't worry.

We'll get rid of those nasty nightmares.

-How's you know?
-[giggles] Just something in your eyes.

-[both] Aw.
-[sighs]

[Lucy] Buzz, I want you to paint me
a picture of an imaginary place,

a place where you feel happy and peaceful.

A painting?

So, uh, how is that going
to help her sleep?

You're a very clever bug, Crick,
but you need to use your imagination.

-Close your eyes, Buzz.
-Mm-hm.

[softly] Yep, I'm just going
to close my eyes.

-[zapping noise]
-[yells]

Bad blue's still there.

Remember what I told you.

-Fly to your imaginary place.
-[Crick groans]

-This has nothing to do with science.
-Shh!

-Lucy, can you help me go there?
-Of course.
