One day on Sodor, we heard

there was going to be

a huge one

in Tidmouth Town Square.

Listen up, everybody!

It's the grand unveiling

of the sand sculpture

in Tidmouth Town Square.

I need you all

working in pairs.

Ahem, now.

Rebecca and Gordon,

you'll be transporting

the extra passengers.

- [both whistling]

I'd like you to collect

a special delivery

from the iron works.

- [both whistling]

- Percy and Thomas, you'll be

shunting at the docks.

- [both whistling]

- And Emily, you've got

a very important job--

delivering the final load

of sand to the Town Square,

so they can finish

the sculpture.

- And who am I

working with, Sir?

- You've never needed

an extra pair of wheels

to help you out, Emily.

- Race you to the docks, Percy!

- Don't let me regret letting

two best friends work together.

some sand cars to Tidmouth?

So Emily went to thedocks to pick up the sand...by herself.

- [whistles] My turn, my turn!

- Cars away!

What cars are those?

- They're the sand cars I have

to deliver to Tidmouth.

- For the sand sculpture?

- Come on, lazy wheels!

We've got shunting to do!

- Emily was about to collectthe sand cars...when she saw Henry.

- Yoo-hoo, Henry!

What about giving

your old best friend,

Emily, a hand

taking these cars

to the Town Square?

- Best friend?

the grand unveiling

of the sand sculpture.

There can't be a sand sculpture

without any sand.

Sir Topham Hatt's gonna

be so upset with me.

- Yeah!

Thomas, I lost the sand.

The sculpture won't

be finished.

It's going to be a disaster.

The Tidmouth Sand Sculpture!

- I saw you left your cars

at the docks,

so I brought them here.

- Oh, thank you, Thomas.

You really are a good friend.

- Well, we all are.

Aren't we?

[cheering, whistling]

- That's right!

- Oh, I'm sorry everyone.

I was so busy trying to find

a best friend,

I didn't realize I was

surrounded by them all along.

[cheering and clapping]

you had a best friend?

When Phillip first saw Tobywas the same shape as him,He wanted themto be best friends...but Phillipwas loud and noisy,and didn't think aboutwhat Toby wanted.Which wassome peace and quiet.Just because they werethe same shape,didn't mean theyliked the same things.Emily was so keento find a best friendthat she forgotabout her important job,but when I helped her out,like a good friend should,she realized she didn't needto find a best friend,as they were all around her.

It can be nice to have

a best friend.

But it's just as nice to have

lots of good friends, too.
