[train engine chugging]

- Whoo-hoo!

[slow-motion chugging]

Have you ever seen a superfast

car do a supercool stunt?

In Australia,

I saw an old friend preparing

for a super stunt show.

[whistle toots]

All aboard for a big adventure!

[upbeat rock music][boing][Thomas]

Ace's Brave Jump.[whimsical music][Thomas]

I was on my way throughthe Outback one morningto pick up my carswhen I heard somethingvery unexpected.

[car horn honking rhythmically]

[gasps]

That's Ace!

[engine revving]

[exciting music]♪ ♪

- A wild animal!

Don't hurt me!

Whoa!

[grunts]

[engine revs]

[grunts]

[tires screech]

Whoo!

- [boing boing]

- [clank]

- Ace!

- [groans]

- Are you okay?

- Thomas.

Did you see that silly kangaroo

get in my way?

- It was only a little joey,

and it wasn't that near to you.

- Was too!

- Well, it's great to see you

again anyway, Ace.

- Ah, it's great

to see you too, mate.

It really is.

And you've come

at the perfect time.

Tomorrow's the super stunt

show.

I wanna break the record

and be the first-ever car

to jump over

double-decker buses!

- What?

I'm out of here!

- Whoa.

Jumping over

double-decker buses?

That sounds amazing.

[crowd cheering]

[upbeat rock music]♪ ♪

[train engine chugging]

Whoo-hoo!

Whoa-ho!

[fireworks whistling]

Whoo-hoo!

[laughs]

[Ace]

Thomas!♪ ♪Thomas![dreamy harp music]

Thomas.

- Oh.

[laughs]

Sorry, Ace.

I was just imagining

what a super stunt show

was like.

[boing boing boing]

- Ah!

Whoa!

[whimpers]

You might find this

hard to believe, Thomas,

but I'm actually a bit scared

of animals.

- Yeah, I know.

- You do?

I mean, they're so dangerous.

- Not all animals are

dangerous, Ace.

They can be really friendly

too.

[gasps]

I know.

Why don't you join me

on my job?

We'll see loads of

friendly animals in the bush.

- Uh, I can't, because--I...

[stammering]

Mate, I--I just can't.

- Come on!

We could race each other.

- Well,

maybe if I get to race ya.

[clanging]

[whistle blows]

[tires screech]

[engine revs]

[bright music]

Whoo-hoo!

Ace wins!

[train engine chugging]

I really am the fastest

racing car--ah!

[shrieking]

- The koala only acted

like that

because it's scared of you.

- It's scared of me?

- [chuckling]

Yes.

If you learn how

to approach it properly,

then it won't be scared

and neither will you.

- Okay, well, I'll try.

- Let's see who else we can

find to say hello to.

[curious music]

Wow, look!

Emus!

Now we need to treat them

with respect

and stay nice and--

[emu squeaks]

- Ah!

- Quiet.

- [shrieking]

Did you see that?

I'm done meeting animals.

Thanks, mate.

- But you want to break

the record

at the super stunt show,

don't you?

- Yeah, but--

- Oh, look.

Baby emus.

Okay, slow down.

Stay nice and...

- Quiet?

- Yeah.

And let them come to you.

Keep calm, Ace.

It's okay.

- Ah.

Heh.

Nice jump, little guy.

- See?

Animals aren't always scary.

- You're right, Thomas.

I'm not gonna let anything

ruin my jump.

[boings]

- Uh, Ace.

I don't want to worry you,

but you've kind of got

a frog on your roof.

[frog ribbits]

- Ah!

[panicky muttering]

Ooh-ah-ah-ooh-ah-oh-oh!

[frog ribbiting]

[laughing]

It tickles.

- Well done, Ace.

You're doing great.

[cowbells jingle]

[cow moos]

- That's it, moo cows.

Don't you worry.

- Not such wild bulls

after all, eh?

- Ah, thanks for showing me

that animals aren't

always scary.

In fact,

they're pretty awesome.

And now, I'm ready

for my super stunt show!

[upbeat rock music]

[male announcer]

Ladies and gentlemen,

boys and girls,

this is the event

you've all been waiting for!

Local boy Ace is going

to attempt the impossible:

a record-breaking leap

of double-decker buses!

[whistle toots]

- Ace!

I'm so excited to see

your stunt!

- There might not be a stunt,

Thomas.

I can't find the buses

anywhere.

I've got nothing

to jump over!

- Well, if you can't jump

over the buses...

[bell dings]

What about a few railway

engines?

I'll do it!

- And me.

[whistle toots]

- And me.

[whistle blows]

[both] And us!

- That means I'll be

the first car

to jump

the Kings of the Railway.

Let's do it!

[announcer]

Here we are again, folks,

as the one and only Ace

attempts a record-breaking leap

over the Kings of the Railway!

[exciting music]

[engine revving, tires screech]

- Whoo-hoo!

♪ ♪

- [gasps] Oh, no.

- Ah!

[dramatic music]

- Come on, Ace.

You can do it.

[air whistling]

[upbeat music]

- Whoo-hoo!

[spectators cheering]

[Thomas]

Ace, you did it!

And you didn't get scared

when the joey showed up.

You're amazing!

- I'm not scared of animals

at all now,

and it's all thanks to you,

Thomas.

Whoo-hoo!

[spectators whooping, cheering]

♪ ♪[boings]

[shrieks]

[laughs]

It tickles!

[cheerful music]

[clock tolling]

♪ ♪

[whistle toots]

- Have you ever been scared

of an animal?

[steam whooshes]

When I first cameto Australia,I didn't know how to behavearound the wildlife,and I kept scaringthe animals.Ranger Jill and Tamikashowed methat I needed to treat animalswith respect.I ended up savingmy new friend Banjo the koalafrom a bushfire.[serene music]Ace was scared of animals,but he learned they werejust as scared of him.♪ ♪Once he approached themquietly and slowly,he found they weremuch more friendly.♪ ♪

He learned that not all animals

are scary.

They just need to be treated

with care and respect.

So remember that the next time

you meet an animal.

- [Annie] Come on, Thomas!

- It's time to go.

- See ya next time.

[whistle toots]

[train engine chugging]

[upbeat rock music][upbeat music]

[whistle toots]
