It's for old doc Hogg.

This letter's for doc Hogg!

The mail carrier must have
delivered it to

the big blue house by mistake.

I'll give doc Hogg a call
on the phone

and tell him
that we have his mail.

Gee,
I hope old doc Hogg is home.

I'll give Lois a call.

She's our woodland valley
telephone operator.

We'll tell the operator
who we want to talk to,

and she'll connect us to them.

Mrs. Hare?
How are the little bunnies?

Lois gave me the wrong number
by mistake.

Hey! Mistakes.

MISTAKES.

Everybody makes them,
and it's okay...

because mistakes are just,

well, mistakes.

Like, um, for instance, um,

when you spill a glass of milk..

that's a mistake.

It's an accident

and you just have
to clean it up.

But sometimes, a mistake can
lead to a great discovery.

Like,

um, like, raisins!
Do you love them?

Well did you know that someone
created raisins by mistake?

Yeah, they left their grapes...
on the vine too long,

and when the sun came out

the grapes dried up

and became raisins!

[chewing]

I just love them.

So, see? Raisins are just
dried up grapes,

created by mistake!

Yeah, no matter who you are
or how hard you try,

everyone makes mistakes.

But the important thing
is you just keep trying.

Dust yourself off,
and try again.

♪ Alarm clock rings...
fall outta bed ♪

♪ Rip on the rug,
put a lump on my head ♪

♪ Spill my breakfast
on the kitchen floor ♪

♪ But I learned not do
that anymore ♪

♪ I say oops...
Oh well, I goofed again ♪

♪ I would toss
and tumble all night long ♪

♪ If I worried every time
I did something wrong ♪

on my humble pie ♪

Yep, even a big Bear like me
makes mistakes.

Well, what I did was,
when I was little...

It's kind of embarrassing,
actually.

[laughing]

I was playing basketball

when I accidentally dribbled
with two hands.

I accidentally dropped a plate.

I kept on telling myself,

'I won't fall down,
I won't fall down.'

I had wrote a scribble scribble
on my face and the teacher said,

‘why did you do that?'

and I fell down...

But I didn't hurt myself...
Really.

It's ok to make a mistake.
Everybody does.

But hey, you never know,

sometimes when you
make a mistake,

you might learn something new!

Well, come on.

Let's go try calling
old doc Hogg again.

Hello, Lois, this is Bear again.

Oh! Hello, Mrs. Mare.

How are the little ponies?

No, no, no, no. This is Bear...

Oh! Bear! It's you again.

Well I'm trying to talk
to old doc Hogg.

Well we were making
some baloney sandwiches,

because as you know...

We love baloney!

Yes, I did know that.

And well, I made this sandwich
right here...

And I made the sandwich
right there!

See, see, look, Bear.

He put the baloney
on the outside,

and the bread in the middle!
[laughing]

Well I meant to do that.

the baloney on the outside,

bread in the middle sandwich.

-Yes, Bear.

You know, sometimes laughing
at somebody else's mistake

can hurt their feelings.

Pop, my pal, I am so sorry.

Really!

That's ok.

Yeah, besides sometimes
making a mistake can be great!

-Really?
-Yeah.

In fact, if I hadn't
make a mistake,

we wouldn't have met.

-Us?
-Sure. You remember

one day, I was playing ball
in the woods

and I kicked the ball too far

and when I went to find it...
I discovered a beautiful pond.

-The Otter Pond!
-Right!

Yeah, I remember, Bear.

And when you went to get
your ball... there we were!

[giggling]

That's right! That's how we met
and became friends!

[exhale]

Yeah, so if I hadn't
made the mistake

of kicking the ball too far,

we never would have met!

-See what I mean?
-Yeah.

And all because of a mistake.

Hey, maybe I better
give this baloney on the outside

bread in the middle sandwich
thing another look!

-Really?
-Sure.

Hey, maybe we can make other
kinds of stuff on the outside,

bread in the middle
sandwiches too, Pip!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like tomato on the outside!

Or clams!

Let's get started!

did you hear that?

[Shadow laughing]

Hey. I know that laugh!

That's Shadow.

She's around here somewhere.

But if we look real hard
and sing a song together,

she might appear.

in the clouds,

and I tripped on a sunbeam!

That's why I was laughing.

for us today?

Why, certainly. Bear.

I've got a good one,
make no mistake!

Just watch.

peep has lost her sheep ♪

I've lost my sheep.

♪ And can't tell
where to find them ♪

I can't find them.

We're over here.

Hello? Lost sheep hotline?

I've lost my sheep.

Leave them alone
and they'll come home,

wagging their tails behind them.

fell fast asleep ♪

♪ And dreamed
she heard them bleating ♪

[bleating]

♪ But when she awoke,
it was all a joke ♪

♪ But they were still
up bleating ♪

I dreamed of bleating.

♪ Then she took up
her little crook ♪

Hi-ya.

[clearing throat]

That crook. Sorry.

♪ And vowed that
she would find them ♪

I will find them.

♪ What was her joy
to see them there ♪

♪ Wagging their tails
behind them♪

I won't make that mistake again.

Next time I'll know
just where to find them.

What a great story, shadow.
"Little Bo peep." But,

can't imagine losing
a whole flock of sheep.

She must have been worried.

Oh! She was very upset,
poor thing.

But when she found them,
she cheered right up!

She's a happy lass now!

Glad to hear it.

Well, I'm off,

but when you need another story
just try and catch me!

Hey. Sounds like somebody's
playing upstairs.

We're flying high
above the clouds!

Treelo go fast, too.

[shouting]

BEAR: Is everything ok up there?

Are you guys ok?

Yeah, yeah, we're fine. Bear!
We're okay!

You don't need to come in here.

No. Quick, under the bed,

Treelo. Push the pieces
under the bed.

Tell Bear, Ojo? Tell Bear?

But... it's okay,
he never looks under the bed.

Push them under the bed.

Gee, I think I'll go
in the bedroom now.

To see if Ojo and Treelo
are okay!

Push the last piece
under the bed there.

Okay.

Aw!

-Hi, Bear.

Hi, Ojo. Hi, Treelo.

Is everything okay?

Yeah, Bear. Everything's fine.

Well, I heard a crash.

We were flying and it fell
on the floor and it crashed,

-Bear not mad?

and I don't care about the vase.

We can fix that with glue
because these things happen.

-Okay.

I know you didn't mean
to break it.

But the important thing is that
you never be afraid

to tell me something,

no matter how bad it is.

Whatever it is, okay?

Because, the most
important thing

is to always tell the truth.

‘Cause we can handle
whatever it is together,

okay?

-Great.

Well, urn,
we've got to go, Bear!

Cause we're going to go fly
to the attic, right Treelo?

And we want to make
a very safe landing!

We want to be very careful.

Doc, I have a piece

-Is there a pretty stamp on it?
-What? Well, I guess so...

Cause I just love pretty stamp.

-A wonderful stamp collection.

Have you seen
a stamp collection before, Bear?

-Well, no. Not really.
-They're lovely.

-They have planes and birds.

All glued up and ready
to hold some flowers.

when you doctor
as many young ones as I have,

Bear, you get pretty good
at fixing things.

Well, Ojo and Treelo will be

You know. I'm kind of glad
the mail carrier got us

mixed up like that.

up and we had a great visit.

So the mailman's mistake meant
you got to see an old friend.

That's right.

And Pip and Pop came up
with a great new snack...

What an interesting idea!

as a mistake.

Mistakes certainly lead us
in interesting

and unusual directions.

And it's important not to be
too worried when they happen,

because mistakes can happen
to anybody.
