Oh, my God.

The nerves have finally hit.
- I know.

- I've been so anxious.
- Mm-hmm.

- Like, meeting him is...

I'm so excited.
- Yeah.

- So I started calling him
Zach the Snack.

Hot man.

- Cheers to a new adventure
with Zach.

- Yes, yay!
- Cheers.

- He literally is everything
that you want in a man.

- What I do feel with you,

I don't have a doubt
that there's a future.

I'm ready for love!

Zach!

- He's everything
I know I'm looking for.

- Without a doubt
falling in love with you.

- I didn't know
my heart could feel that way.

- This is working.
I know my wife is here.

- I don't want
this night to end.

- Bigger, stronger emotions
are already starting.

- It's so hard to watch
other girls with him.

- We all want Zach,

so the claws are gonna come out.

- Have you ever considered

just literally shutting the up?

- True colors are gonna fly,
and they're starting to.

- She is spreading lies

and trying to play
the victim card.

- Please help me, help me,
help me, help me.

Please help me.

- This is my worst fear,

falling in love with two people.

It's terrifying.

- I'm not gonna beg for you.

I'm not doing that.

This journey has been
very difficult at times.

Dude...

It can be so heartbreaking
and confusing.

But as messy as it got,

I've found my best friend,

and it feels really good.

I just know that she is the one.

I'm gonna propose
to the love of my life,

and I can't wait.

- Good evening, Bachelor Nation.

I'm Jesse Palmer,
and I am so excited

to be back here at the mansion.

We've got the champagne on
ice, the roses are ready,

and of course, the driveway
has been hosed down.

So you know what that means.

It's time for a brand-new
season of "The Bachelor."

Now, we first met
Zach Shallcross

last season
on "The Bachelorette."

Zach never imagined himself

doing any of this.

He's just a genuine guy
who came here

looking for love,
and love alone,

and that is exactly the reason
why we made him the Bachelor.

Okay, so you may think
you know Zach.

He's a good-looking guy.

He's tall,
ready to find a wife, right?

But did you know
that he rocked a bass guitar

in a seventh-grade band
called Public Disturbance?

Did you know
he was a DJ in college,

going by the name Verzache?

See what I'm talking about?

You thought you knew him,

but you don't.

So let's take a closer look
at the man

who just might actually DJ
his own wedding

when this whole thing is over.

- Hi. My name is Zach.

I'm the Bachelor,
and that is freakin' wild.

I still feel like
this is a dream.

I know some people are saying,
why me?

I'm just really
at that point in my life

to settle down, find my wife.

Wow.

I'm not here to mess around.

This is nice.

I've lived through
this experience,

and I know that it's real.

You can find love here.

But I don't know how to do this.

I have zero idea.

Oh, I left my key inside.

I need all the help
in the world,

and there is one guy
that's willing to help me.

And that's really
all I can ask for.

- Zach.
- Hey, Sean.

- What's up, buddy?
- Good to see you, man.

- It's good to see you too.
- Come on in.

I'm so happy that Sean's here.

As the Bachelor,
he made it work.

I need whatever guidance
he can give.

He's been married 10 years
with 3 kids.

That's what I want,
and I won't settle.

I model what I want
out of my parents.

You know, they've been married
for 30-plus years.

They just got an RV
and just traveled the country.

Um, you know,
they hardly ever fight.

And they've just modeled

what, you know,

a perfect, healthy
relationship looks like.

And you know, like,
it's... it's not easy.

It's not common nowadays,
but it's something

that I'm optimistic
that I will find.

How did you come into it
being comfortable,

as much as you could,

but also showing the world Sean?

- So I think I went into it
realistically,

thinking I'm gonna have
a great experience.

- Right.

- The moment I saw
my wife, Catherine,

I knew that, like, she had
this great energy about her,

and she was someone that I
wanted to spend more time
with,

but I wouldn't have picked her
from the beginning.

I wouldn't have said,
"Yep, she's the one."

I didn't necessarily
see her as my wife...

- Yeah.
- Until maybe midway through.

I was like, "Holy cow."

Like, I continually find
myself thinking about
Catherine

in ways that I don't think
about the other women.

And that's kind of exciting.

You know, maybe
she didn't fit my type...

- Right.
- In the beginning, but...

you know, maybe the girl
out there for you

is not necessarily
"your type."

- That's interesting
because typically I've had,

like, the spark.

When you first meet sometimes,
you know,

like,
"Oh, there's something here."

And you know, I don't want
to go in with expectations

that it's going to just only
be a spark or only this.

Like, I'm very much
just open to...

- Well, you might
be surprised too.

It's gonna be really exciting.

But if you're gonna have
a long, healthy marriage,

I think you have to marry
your best friend,

right?
- Yeah.

- It's intoxicating
once you find your person.

And then you've got
a whole beautiful life

to look forward to after that.

- Yeah.

I'm looking forward to it, man.

It's been a long time coming.

- Zach is such a nice guy.

He is so genuine.

You know, he's got a funny side.

I think he's got a side
that people haven't seen yet.

- Sean L., will you accept
this rose?

- Nothing would make me happier.

Me being the old veteran,
I thought, you know,

maybe I can give Zach
some helpful pointers.

Now, being the Bachelor
may seem easy,

but there's actually
a lot to it.

There you go.

And I just want to make sure
he's completely prepared.

Your shirt's gonna be off
this whole season.

- Okay.
- Curls are for the girls.

Let's get 'em going.

I was the most shirtless
Bachelor of all time.

But I am ready to pass

the shirtless Bachelor torch
on to Zach.

- Like this?
- That's good.

- I could show a little bit
of the chest there.

- That's good, yeah.

Then hit those abs.

- There's no doubt about it.

He's ready for those ladies.

- One, two, one, two, one, two.

One, two. Ch-ch.

You got this.

- I did learn a lot from Sean.

There's no, like,
right way to do this.

Just go about it the way
that feels right to you

and who you are.

Do I deserve this?

I don't know,
but I'm pretty damn happy.

I want my forever person.

I want my partner.

That's why I'm here.

I'm nervous, but I'm so excited

for what's to come.

I can't wait to meet
all the women.

Literally, I could be meeting
my future wife.

That's insane.

- Welcome back to Los Angeles.

Of course, we are here live

with our studio audience,

and...

I can't stop smiling.

- The excitement in the air
right about now.

Look, I know you've all
been very...

- Oh, my gosh,
they're about to announce

who the new Bachelor is.

- Ooh.
- It is finally time to meet...

- My heart is racing!

- Ladies and gentlemen,

please welcome
our new Bachelor...

Zach.

- Oh, my God! Yes!

Yes!

- Whoo!
- Whoo!

- Oh, my God!

- Yay!
- Whoo!

- To the future
Mrs. Shallcross.

- Yes!

- Welcome back to the season
premiere of "The Bachelor."

Now, after announcing Zach
as the Bachelor,

we wasted no time
and immediately introduced him

to five impressive women,

each hoping
to fall in love with Zach.

- Hi.
- Hello.

- I'm Bailey.

- I came all the way
from New York just to meet
you.

, I'm so nervous.

- I was just...
- Oh, my God.

I just said on live television.

- Cheers.
- Cheers to you.

Ooh, wow.
- Whoo!

- And in an historic first,

we asked you,
the viewers at home,

to pick one lucky lady

to receive America's
First Impression Rose.

Brianna!

That went to Brianna,

the stunning entrepreneur
from New Jersey.

Now, she and the other
four women Zach met,

they're gonna be here tonight,

but only Brianna
is sure to be safe

at the Rose Ceremony.

Of course, there are other women

that will be arriving
here tonight

in the hopes
of finding love with Zach,

so who will make
his heart flutter?

- To Zach. Cheers!
- Yes. Yay!

- We're gonna find out
soon enough

when Zach meets them all
right here later tonight.

But before that,
let's get to know

a few of these women
who are hoping

that Zach will put a ring on it.

- My name's Bailey.

I'm 27.

I'm from Nashville,

but now I live in Venice Beach.

I go hiking.

I've taken up surfing.

Like, I love being outside.

I'm definitely
a relationship person.

I'm not the type of person
that just dates around

just to date around.

I'm definitely down
for meeting someone

in an unconventional way,
obviously.

I'm here.

And so I'm very excited

to get to know Zach.

I met him at the live show.

I want you to remember my name.

- Okay.
- Say this to yourself.

On the daily,

I'm gonna be thinking of Bailey.

- Okay.
I think I can learn that one.

- And then he said,

"You can't forget
the morning Baylin."

- Can you name all the women
you just met?

- There was the morning
Baylin, right?

I think it was Bailey.

- I don't know what a Baylin is,

but when I see him again,

I will make sure
he remembers my real name.

- Hi. My name is Katherine.

I'm 26 years old,
and I'm from Tampa, Florida.

I'm a registered nurse.

I work in surgical
cutaneous oncology.

I love my job,

but it's hard dating these days.

I date for purpose.

I'm not dating just to date.

I'm dating to find
a husband eventually.

So watching Zach

at "After the Final Rose"
announcement,

he looked so handsome.

And I was like, oh, my God.

Okay.

I thought I was excited before,

but now I really, really,
really am.

Zach is my type.

He has a really nice smile.

And from what I've seen of Zach,

he also is someone
who is confident

and secure with who he is.

So I'm very excited
to meet Zach.

- I'm Christina, 26 years old.

I'm a Nashville native,
so born and raised.

My mom was part of the group

Barbara Mandrell
& The Mandrell Sisters.

If I have to sing, like, I will,

but it is not my passion
by any means.

What do you want to be
when you grow up?

- Work with mama.

- Work with me?

My daughter is my world.

She is 5 years old going on 15.

She is amazing.

She impresses me daily
with things she says

and how big her heart is.

She is the sassiest thing.

I don't know where she gets it.

I'm definitely down
to have more kids.

The goal for me
is to get married.

I would love to be with someone

who's gonna be my teammate,

and it's a bonus that we
would get to parent together.

I think Zach seems so sweet.

Of course, he's good looking,
and his voice is sexy,

and he's really tall,
and like, he's charming.

But beyond that, he is genuine.

I mean, I could definitely
very much see myself

falling for him and having
a connection with him

and us vibing.

I'm really excited
to see Zach tonight.

I'm ready to go.

- Okay, so what do we do first?

- We make a head.

- A head.

I'm a therapist,

and I serve primarily children
and their families.

I literally love what I do.

It definitely is rewarding,
I will say.

I am so ready for love.

I want to find my partner.

I want to be engaged.

I want to start a life
with my person.

I want someone
who treats me good

and definitely someone
who can... who can make me
laugh.

"After the Final Rose,"
when Zach came out,

he was nervous, but it was cute.

Like, he was cute nervous,

so I loved seeing
that side of him.

I am very eager to get married,

and I'm confident
in what it is that I want,

and I'm excited
for what's to come.

Bachelor, here I come.

- I've actually never popped
open a bottle of champagne.

I shake it, right?

Ah!

Hi. I'm Greer Blitzer.

I'm 24,
and I'm from Houston, Texas.

I threw it back too...

Too much.

Your dog is so cute!

Who is Greer?

Uh, Greer is bold.

Greer doesn't take.

But Greer is very kind.

Welcome to my hometown city,
Houston, Texas, baby!

Whoo!

I love my life,
but dating is terrible.

All the guys
that I've been meeting,

I don't think that
their intentions are pure,

and that's not what I want.

I'm so happy
Zach's the Bachelor.

He seems like a sweet soul.

He's tall, he's handsome,
and I think him and I

could have a real connection.

I could definitely see myself
being Mrs. Shallcross.

Yeah.

- Coming for ya, Zach.

I rodeo, so I run barrels,
and I rope.

Rodeo takes up
so much of my life.

I love it.
It's a lot of fun.

It's like having
a full-time job.

I have to keep
all the horses exercised.

I have to feed them,
make sure everything's clean.

I feel I'm comfortable
in my career.

I'm comfortable
doing things for myself,

but I want someone
to share my life with,

and I'm looking for someone
with a good heart,

someone loyal and caring,

because I do want kids one day.

Zach is 100% husband material.

And I feel like Zach has
really kind eyes.

Also, he has really nice teeth.

Oh, maybe you're jealous.

Is that... oh, see,
that was a nod.

You are jealous.

Okay.

I feel like I'm ready
for an engagement.

I'm ready to start
the next chapter of my life.

I am so excited.

I can't wait
to get to know him more.

I can't wait for him
to get to know me.

I just think this will be
such an awesome journey.

Like, literally, our kids
could watch us fall in love
one day.

Like, how cool is that?

- So frickin' excited.

Like, ah!

I literally can't even breathe
thinking about it.

Hi. I'm Brianna.

I'm 24 years old,
from Jersey City,

and I have America's
First Impression Rose.

So I have my own beauty company,

and I'm also a model.

I love it.

I don't like working
for other people,

so being able
to be self-directed

and kind of be my own boss
has been amazing.

But my family is starting
to get on my case

about, like, being married.

Caribbean culture,
they're like...

Get to it.

Hi.
- Hello.

- I'm Brianna.
- I'm Zach.

- Nice to meet you.

- I was so nervous meeting Zach

at "After the Final Rose."

Would you mind taking
a picture for us?

And then once I kind of
got out and, like, saw him,

I didn't notice anything else.

Aw.

- He just, like,
has the sweetest smile

and just, like, very kind eyes.

I was just like, wow, like,

I feel, like,
at peace right now.

I mean, I'm definitely hopeful

that we'll have
a beautiful love story,

and we'll always be able
to watch it back.

And I'm really sentimental
and nostalgic,

so like, I'll probably
watch it all the time.

- I think he's gonna love it.

- Very "Cinderella ready
to meet her Prince Charming."

- My name's Kaity.

I'm 27 years old.

I live in Austin, Texas,
right now, and I'm a nurse.

All right, Zach.

I hope you're
as excited as I am,

'cause I'm bringing you back
to Austin with me.

I think it's so cool that Zach
and I live in the same city,

and it would be crazy if
it all works out in the end.

My last relationship,
he cheated on me.

Oh, didn't expect
my ex to be here.

So it took a little bit of time

for me to heal from that,

and I feel like this
is the best time in my life

to start dating again
and find somebody

who wants to love me
unconditionally.

I am so excited
to meet Zach tonight.

He seems like
the perfect Bachelor.

He has a very open heart

and is ready
to just lay it all out there

and find his wife.

And that's what I want.

I want a husband through this.

Kaity Shallcross...
It's got a ring.

And I need the ring.

- Night one is tonight,

and it's actually insane
that it's already here.

I'm so excited.

It's like a culmination
of just the anticipation

of meeting all these women

and one of them
possibly being my wife

and also not knowing
what to expect on this side.

Like, I know what it was like
for me night one

when I came into the mansion
and met Rachel and Gabby.

But now it's different.

I'm on the other side.

And I can't wait.

I got the suit on,
and I'm ready for tonight.

I'm ready to meet the ladies.

- Oh, gosh.

- This is gonna be great.

We're all beautiful,
confident...

- That's right.
- Smart women.

- Yes.
- Cheers to that.

- And he's gonna love all of us.

Yeah.

- Cheers to Zach, of course.

- Cheers to Zach.

- To Zach!

- There's my guy.

My guy. Jesse.

What's up, man?
- Good to see you.

- You doing all right?
Great seeing you.

- Oh.

- How's everything?

- Great, man.
This is awesome.

- Dude, you're here.

- I'm actually here.

- You're at the mansion.
You're the Bachelor.

- Surreal.
- How are the nerves right
now?

I mean, no pressure, you could
be meeting your soul mate,

your wife, the mother
of your children tonight.

How you feeling?

- I am terrified.

I want it to go so well,

and I want to, you know,
find her,

but I'm just nervous
because I don't know

what the future holds.

- Dude, listen,
I've been there before.

I know exactly
how you're feeling.

- Yeah.
- So obviously,

we've already introduced you
to five incredible women

at "After the Final Rose."

Have you been thinking
of any of those women

since that time?

- Oh, absolutely.
- Oh, yeah?

- Like, having that
familiarity has been really
nice.

So knowing them already
being here on night one,

that's gonna help it make it
a little easier.

- Yeah.
- Yeah.

- Well, listen,
the moment's finally come,

and I can't wait to see
what's gonna happen for you

here on this journey.

How's the breath real quick?
Let me...

Good?

- It's actually pretty good.
- Actually pretty good?

- Yeah, yeah. I like it.

Okay.
- Yeah, a lot of Listerine.

- Look, all of Bachelor Nation
is rooting for you.

Of course, I am rooting for you.

The first limo
is about to pull up.

- Oh, my gosh.

- I wish you all the luck.

Zach, let the journey begin.

- Oh, I see him.

- You're lying.
- Oh, my God.

- You're lying.
- Oh, my God!

Y'all, Zach is such a cutie.

- I can't believe
this is real life.

- Oh, gosh.

Zach!

I am beautiful.

I am confident.

I am strong.

- Hello.
- Hi.

Hello.

- You look great.

- You look beautiful.

- Thank you.

My name is Jessica.

You can call me Jess.

- Okay.
- How are you feeling?

What's going on in your head?

- Uh, a lot.
- Mm-hmm.

- Very nervous,
but excited to be here.

- Yeah.
- How are you feeling?

- I have a million emotions
going on.

- Yeah.
- I'm very nervous.

I'm shaking really badly...
- It's okay.

- If you can't tell.
- You're good.

- Okay, thanks.
- You got this. You got this.

It's okay.
- But I'm excited

to get to know you
and chat with you inside,
so...

- I'm looking forward
to it as well.

- Yes.
- Nice meeting you.

- Nice meeting you too.

- Wow, great start.

She's very pretty.

That's how I felt.

I was nervous too.

- Hi. How you doing?

- Hello.
How are you doing?

- Nice to meet you.
My name is Ariel.

- Nice to meet you, Ariel.

- So I wanted you to know that

I missed my flight to get here,

my suitcase broke,

my dress even ripped,

but nothing's gonna stop me
from coming.

So I'm very excited to be here,

and excited to talk to you
inside.

- I love that.
- Nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you too, Ariel.
- Bye.

- Bye.

Wow.

She's very cute.

- Hello.
- Hello.

- How are you?
- Good.

How are you doing?
- Good.

So nice to finally meet you.

How are you feeling?
- I'm feeling great.

How are you feeling?
- Good.

I'm a little nervous,
I'm not gonna lie.

But I feel a little bit better
now that I'm finally here.

So my name is Charity.
- Charity.

- And that also means love,

and I figured...
- Mm.

- What better place to find love

than here
at the Bachelor mansion?

- Aw.
- And I could not be

more excited that
it's you who's the Bachelor,

and I hope we get to chat
a little bit more inside.

- I would love to.
- Yes.

- Nice to meet you, Charity.
- You too.

- Hello.
- Hello there.

- Hi.
- How ya doing?

- I'm doing good.

So my name's Davia,

and I thought
we'd get the party started off

with a bang, so...
- Yeah.

- You want to pop
some champagne?

- I would love to.

- Okay, ready?
- Oh!

- Opa!
- Opa.

- Here we go.

- Wow, you're a pro.

- Thank you.

I thought we'd do
a little toast.

So to the start of something new

and possibly finding love.

- I love it.
- Cheers.

- This is crazy.

I definitely blacked out,

not because of alcohol,

because of love.

Hello!

- You look beautiful!

I brought gifts!

It felt really nice being
there with him in that moment.

- Whew.

- And I hope that Zach
thinks I'm cute,

'cause I think he's cute.

- Thank you. Oh.

- Hello.

- Hello. How are you?

- Good. How are you doing?
- I brought you a little gift.

- Oh, you did? Okay.
- But we can hug.

I'm Gabi.
- Nice to meet you, Gabi.

- It's nice to meet you.

I am from Vermont,

so I brought you
a little bit of home.

It's my Vermont right

to force you to drink
this maple syrup,

so here you are.

Here's your maple syrup.

- Okay.

- You got this.

Okay, what do you think?

Mapley.

- Okay, but I didn't like
that face.

- No.

- The look on his face
just didn't look like

it resonated well
with his palate,

so I'm hoping I resonate better.

- I can't wait to...
- Thank you.

- Get to talk to you more.

- It might have left a bad taste

in his mouth, like, mm,

that was Gabi from Vermont.

Yeah.

Go, Gabi.

- Hello.
- Hi.

I'm Greer. Nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you, Greer.

- So I live in New York.

And I brought this coffee
all the way here

because we have a long night
ahead of us,

so you're gonna need
that energy.

You want to have a sip?

Be careful.
It might be piping hot,

just like you.

- It's still hot from New York?

How does that work?
- I don't know.

- How do you do that?
- I'm magical.

- That's very impressive.

- Thank you.

- Thank you so much.

So nice meeting you.
- Nice meeting you.

- This is beyond
my wildest dreams,

and it's really starting
to feel real.

I started the night
with a lot of nerves,

but those nerves
are slowly going away.

- I'm from Vienna, Austria.

And in Austria,
what we usually do,

we usually give two kisses.

- Okay.
- So I was wondering

if we can, like,
switch up our tradition

and give four kisses.

- Sure. Yeah.
- Yeah? Are you ready?

- Let's do it, yeah.
- Okay.

- It's a little long,
but I like it.

It's...
- Adventurous.

- I mean, they're so funny.

They're so beautiful.
They're so sweet.

- You are looking mighty fine.

- Oh, stop.
You are too kind.

- And in North Dakota, we say,

"Uff da,
he's looking mighty fine."

- "Uff da"?

It is really crazy that

I could be meeting
my future wife tonight.

That actually boggles my mind.

- So I'm Aly.

I'm originally from Houston,

but I now live
in Atlanta, Georgia.

- Okay.

- So I'm so excited to meet you.

- I'm one lucky guy.

I'm just so excited.

Like, there's no other way
to put it.

How are you doing?

- Um, good, actually.

I'm really glad it's you
standing here

because otherwise, I probably
wouldn't be here, so...

- Really?
- Yeah.

- It's early, but I feel
this newfound confidence,

so I'm ready to meet
some more women.

- Hi!

- I recognize you.

- Remember me?

- I recognize Cat.

Come up here.
I remember this time.

- Aw, you remember me!

- Good to see you.

Cat's here.

- Well, I'm Cat.

You remember me
from the live show.

- I do.

I immediately recognized Cat

from "After the Final Rose."

It's really exciting and nice
to see a familiar face.

I see you looking
at the mansion.

It's kind of scary and big
in person, huh?

- Not to me, no.
- No?

Okay.
- I'm from New York.

You know this.
- Oh, okay.

- Come on.
- The New York, yeah.

- Exactly! New York!

- Boppity, boopity, bop.
- Ah, the gabagool!

Am I right?
- Well, how could I forget

the gabagool?

My bad. My bad.

- Well, we'll talk inside,
all right?

- All right.
- All right.

- Bye, Cat.
- And remember, love ya!

See ya, Cat.

- She's funny.

Ey, where's the gabagool?

- I recognize you.
- Hi.

- Hi.
- I'm Cat.

- Nice to meet you.
- Hi, Cat.

- Nice to meet you.

- It's tough
to watch people come in

who have already met Zach
at "After the Final Rose."

That gabagool.

- You know,
they do have a leg up,

because they've had
more interactions with Zach,

and he's only heard
that I'm from Vermont

and like maple syrup, so...

- Hello, there.
- Hi.

How are you?
It's good to see you again.

- Good to see you again.

- Yeah.
- Oh.

- So I know we met
at "After the Final Rose,"

but I'm Brooklyn.
- Yeah.

- A fun fact about me, like
you probably already know,

I spew profanities on live
television when I get nervous.

- Mm-hmm.
- So sorry about that.

That was my bad.

- It's all welcomed.

Like, don't hold it back.
- Great.

Thank God everything went well.

It was just very comforting.

Like, I saw a familiar face.

Hopefully he saw
a familiar face too

and, like, that comforted him.

- Yay, yay.
- I can breathe now.

- Second time's a charm.
- Yeah, yeah.

Much better than the first time.

- The first time was great.
- Oops.

- Yeah.
- Yeah.

Like, it was just so much

more relaxed this time

than, you know,
when I blacked out

on screen on live television.

- I came on the live finale.

I really wanted you
to remember my name.

So I brought this,
and I hope that it helps...

- Bailey.
- Remember who I am.

- I will remember,
and I feel so bad about that.

- Do you?

- Yeah.

- Thank you.
- Just a little...

- That makes it a lot better.
- No, 'cause...

That makes it so much better.
- I was just so in my head.

I was in my head.
I was freaking out.

But that was very sweet,
and I enjoyed that time...

- Thank you.
- Talking to you, so...

- Yeah, me too. All right.

I'm freaking out.

He leaned in, and he kissed me!

I was not expecting him
to remember my name,

much less a kiss, so I am
literally on cloud nine.

I'm so excited.

- Gorgeous eyes.

Good old Bailey.

It felt right.

You know, there's a little bit
of a spark there,

and I want her to know
that I felt that spark.

Wanted to give her a kiss
when I saw her here

and let her know
I do remember her name.

- On the daily,
be thinking of Bailey.

Hopefully he doesn't forget
this time.

- Can I just say,
how good did Zach look?

- Oh, my God, yeah.

- He's such a cutie.
- Yeah.

- Very calm, cool, collected.
- Yeah.

- I feel like I'm dreaming.
- I know.

- Oh, wow.

- Hello.

- You are so handsome.

- Well, hello there.

- Hello.

- How are you doing?
- I'm doing well.

How are you?
- Good, good.

What's your name?
- Kaity.

- Kaity, okay.

A fun fact
you should know about me...

- Yeah?

- Is that I'm also
from Austin, Texas.

And judging by
what I can see right now,

I can confirm that everything
is bigger in Texas.

I had a feeling that was coming.

I loved it.

- You like a good Texas joke?
- I did.

I did.

Nice meeting you, Kaity.

- Nice to meet you, Zach.

- Wow, that was good.

That was a really good entrance.

- Zach, hi.
- Hello.

- How are you?
- Good.

How are you doing?
- Uh, it's good to see you.

Can I have a hug?
- It's good to see you too.

- Oh, my goodness.

You're so much taller in person.

- So nice to meet you.
See, I've gotten that a lot.

- You look amazing.

- Thank you very much.
- Yeah.

Are you nervous?

- Terrified.
- I'm terrified.

You know, I literally have
already blacked out,

but my name is Genevie.

I literally don't think
I told you, but...

- Wait, wait.

You know, I forgot my name
on my limo entrance,

too, so you're totally fine.
- It's good.

- It's totally fine. Yes.
- I'll remember.

- All right.
- I'll remember.

- It was good seeing you.

Talk to you inside?
- I'll talk to you inside.

- All right. See you soon.
- See you.

- Hello.
- Hi.

- What is your name?
- My name is Katherine.

- Katherine, nice to meet you.

- Nice to finally meet you.

So I am a nurse.
- Yeah?

- And I specialize
in dermatology.

- Okay.
- And I was just wondering,

would you want to SPF me?

- SPF you? Uh, yeah.

- Sunscreen, silly.
- Let's...

Let's do it.

- You know, the moon,
it's a little intense tonight.

The rays are
a little aggressive.

- Yeah, I think you can
totally get burnt by the moon.

- Perfect.
- Am I spraying you?

- You are.
- I'm spraying you.

- But go light.
Go light.

- Okay.

Oh, what?

Oh, just one more, one more,
for good measure.

- Perfect.
- Perfect.

- If you're gonna be
my husband one day,

you better get used
to the fact that, like,

sunscreen is a must.

- She is stunning.

- I think he liked it.

It was just funny,

and then we'll have
our conversation later.

So I think this is a good start.

- Catch!

Whoo!
- New Orleans!

Whoo!

- Hello.
- Hello.

- Hi.
- How are you doing?

- This is crazy.

I mean, I do feel
like all the girls are

trying to stand out tonight.

- I'm obviously from Louisiana.

- You know,
this is make or break.

You either show him,
or you go home.

- Hello.

- Girls are going big today
to try and impress Zach.

- As I was packing, I actually
found two pennies heads up.

Hopefully,
it'll bring us good luck.

- Oh, I love that.
- Yeah.

- I mean, there's a lot
of people coming in

with really creative ideas.

- I find your voice
incredibly attractive,

and I was hoping that you
could read this out loud for
me.

- That dress looks amazing
on you.

- I was really hoping
you would say that.

- Oh!
- He went with my joke.

It was cute.

I feel like he was receptive
to my sense of humor,
hopefully.

- Look at you, 6'4",
tall, burly man.

I made him laugh.

That's good, 'cause I am funny.

- Can I ask you a favor?

- Sure?

- Can you bend down
for a second?

I licked it, so now it's mine.

I marked my territory.

I hope he "licked" it.

Liked it.

- My name is Holland.

Last season,
you had a date in Holland.

I think the reason
why things didn't work out

is just because you were in
the wrong Holland.

- That went great.

I'm sorry, Mom.

I'm sorry to my father.

But I don't know
how I could one-up that one.

- Oh, my gosh.

Come on, Henry.
- Hello.

- Hi.
- Hi.

- How are you?

- I'm Zach.
- I'm Mercedes.

- Mercedes? Nice to meet you.
- Yes.

- Who's this?
- It's nice to meet you.

This is Henry.
- Hi, Henry.

Do you want to walk, Henry?
- Come on.

So I am a pig farmer, okay?

I am from Iowa.
- Okay.

- I grew up on a farm,

and I actually showed pigs
growing up.

- Oh.

- Hence, why we have him
with us.

- I love it.

- Henry honestly stole the show.

He wowed Zach, I think,

so hopefully that'll lead
to a First Impression, maybe.

I don't know.

- Wait, what is this?

It's a bus?
- Party bus.

- Shut up.
- Oh.

- This is like the ones
that you go

to the strip club in, right?
- Yeah.

No, I'm serious.

- Hello!

- Hello.

So good to see you.

- Good to see you again.
- Oh, my God.

- Hello.

You look amazing. Hi.

- You look stunning. Wow.

- Just in case you don't
remember, my name's Christina.

- I know Christina.
- Okay.

I'm actually just coming
from my bachelorette party.

I thought it went so well
last time

that I would go ahead
and get that out of the way.

- That is awesome.

I was gonna say, you were
bumping some tunes in there.

- Oh, yeah.

No, we were actually,
like, partying.

Maybe we could, like, check
it out later or something.

- I'm interested.
I'm interested.

- I was in the party bus.

Uhn-tss, uhn-tss,
uhn-tss, uhn-tss.

Oh, my gosh.
You guys look amazing.

- Hi.
- I owned it.

So hopefully,
he remembered me tonight.

- I like it.
- I like to party.

- I love that.
- I'm a party animal.

- We were like, is she,
like, a bus driver?

Like, a party bus driver?

- Do I look like
your average bus driver?

- No.
- No.

- I don't see why not, girl.

- Oh, my gosh.

I feel like
there's so many new girls

every time I turn around.

- There's so many girls.

It's a little bit overwhelming.

They're all beautiful.

Like, what in the world?

I'm like, wow, how do you get

so many beautiful people
in one room?

- Hi.
- Hello.

- Hello.
- What's your name?

- Sonia.

- Literally everyone
is so beautiful.

- Oh, my God.
- So pretty.

- It is crazy.
- It's insane.

- Honestly, when I heard
you were the Bachelor,

I was just ecstatic.
- Okay.

- And I can't wait to share
this adventure with you

and just have an amazing time.

- Everyone's so pretty,
and I'm so intimidated.

- Don't be.
- Yeah.

- I've actually been on,
like, let's say 30 first dates

or something like that,
and I'm really hoping

that you're my last first date.

- He has a really good
group of girls.

Like, you think it's over,
and then,

like, another beautiful girl,
like, comes in.

And you're just like,
holy crap, she looks good.

- You're cute.
- I'm cute?

- Yeah, you're cute.
- You're cute.

- Oh, my God.
How many girls are here?

- 28, 29 so far.

- Hello, hello.
- I love it.

- You look gorgeous, girl.

- Who has champagne?

- Oh, my God.

We have, like,
almost everyone here.

- Almost everyone here.

- Wait. Brianna.
- Brianna.

- She's not here yet.
- She's not here yet.

I'm excited to see her.
- Yeah.

- No, the fact
that we haven't seen her

means we're still going.

I feel like she's
gonna come in last.

- Hi.

- I think I recognize you.

- Do you?

Do you remember my name,
by any chance?

How could I forget, Brianna?

Oh, my gosh.
I'm actually...

- How could I forget?

Good to see you.
Oh, my God.

- Look at you.
- You look beautiful.

- You look so handsome.
- Wow.

How does that rose feel
in your hand?

Honestly,

it does feel amazing
to have America's

First Impression Rose,
but I do want you to know,

like, I'm not here
for the roses.

I'm here for your heart.

- She'll probably do
something big.

- You think?
- Yeah. Yeah.

Because no matter what,
she's... she can do anything,

'cause she's safe.

- We'll chat inside.
- Yes.

So I'll see you later.
- All right.

Awesome. Good to see you.
- Good to see you again.

- Very confident.

I like it.

- She's gonna come in
walking on air.

- There she is!

- Oh, there's Brianna.

- Queen!

- Okay!

- Whoo!

- Not a care in the world.

- Brianna, she comes in,

and she has the rose already.

So I am a little jealous,

and she's wearing
a beautiful red gown,

and it has roses on it.

- Congratulations.
- Aw, thank you.

- And your rose is still
alive. That's exciting.

And your dress is roses?
- My dress is...

- Okay, really?
- It's a coincidence.

- No, it's not.
- It's a coincidence.

- This was rigged.
- I had no idea.

I swear.
- Um, I know, I know, I know.

You look beautiful.
- Girl, you too.

I love this pink.

- And I hate you.

- I cannot stop gushing...

- So I wonder
if she was the last one.

- I think she was.
- I thought she was.

- Yeah.
- All right, man.

- Jesse.
- You did it.

- You've got 30 incredible
women in there right now.

- Yeah.

- And they're all talking
about you.

You okay with that?
- No.

- All I'm wondering
is where is Zach?

- There's beautiful
women everywhere.

I'm like, I don't know how

I'm gonna compete with all this.

I mean, I will get jealous
very quickly.

- 30 women in one room
and one guy?

What could go wrong?

- Oh, my God!
I love your dress!

- Thank you!
You guys are all so sparkly!

- You're sparkly like us!
- Wait!

Is that my dress
in a different color?

Actually, though.
Wait, actually.

- Is it?
- Actually, actually!

Oh, my gosh!

We're wearing the same dress
but in a different color.

- How do I check?

- Open your legs.

You know, we gotta find out.

Ah!

- Oh, my God.
I need a drink.

- You know, what can I say?

She's got great taste
in men and dresses.

- Zach, you've now
just finally completed

the all-important first step
of being the Bachelor.

So how does it feel?
- Incredible.

I mean, all the women
impressed me so much.

- Do you feel like
you may have met your wife?

- You know, my gut instinct

is actually telling me...

that I might have.

It's getting really real.

- I'm so happy
to hear you say that, man.

- It's so awesome.
- Honestly, man,

you might have to get inside
pretty quick...

- I think I do.
- Before they come running

out here and physically take you

and drag you inside the mansion.

But before we do that...
- Yeah.

- Let's talk roses for a second.

Obviously, Brianna was given

America's First Impression Rose

the night that you were
announced as the Bachelor.

She's gonna be safe
at tonight's Rose Ceremony.

But you also
are gonna be handing out

your own First Impression Rose
tonight.

And that could be given
to any woman

that really stands out to you.

It could be for any reason.

That's totally up to you.

Zach, get ready...
- Yeah.

- For the night of your life.

- Go have some fun.
- I think so.

- The night is yours.

I wish you all the best.

Go find a wife.
- Will do.

- So who else thought
Zach was pretty sexy?

- Me.
- So cute!

- Ow, ow!
- Cutie!

- Where is he?

You're like, where is he?

Where is he?

- Look who it is.

- Hello, hello.

- Finally.

- Hello!
- Ooh.

- For you!
- I'll take this.

Thank you very much.

- You're welcome.

- Wow.

This is overwhelming.

I'm freaking out right now.
This is awesome.

Wow.

You are all so incredible
and beautiful.

Holy.

I should not be cussing
right now.

I'm freaking out. Oh, wow.

- You look hot too.

- Yeah. Amazing.

- But, wow,
like, those entrances,

kudos to y'all,
'cause I forgot my name

when I came out, and you guys...

- We almost did.

- I think
all remembered your name.

But really, thank you,
everyone that's here.

I'm so grateful to be
in this position right now.

Like, I never would have
thought in a million years,

like, I'd be standing right here

in front of all
you incredible women.

Like, I'm just a dude
who loves family,

football, and frozen pizzas.
- Whoo!

- Amen to that.
- And...

- Whoo!
- Cheers to that.

- Cheers to that.
- Yeah.

But, really, who is
someone that's looking

for his forever best friend.

And you know, for me, I grew
up with two loving parents

that have been married
for over 30 years.

And you know, they love each
other more and more every day.

And that's something
I strive for.

And one thing that's
really important to me

for forming the relationship
that I want and am looking for

and that I get off my parents
is honesty,

honesty with your emotions

and honesty with, like,
your feelings.

It's so important.

So all I ask is, you know,
you're open and honest with me

about everything
and your feelings

because I will be open
and honest with all of you.

So enough with the speech.

Let's get the party started.

- Whoo!

- Let's get some drinks going.

Cheers to y'all.

Cheers.

- Cheers.
- Cheers.

Cheers. Cheers.

The night finally begins.

We're here, baby.

I'm getting...

- And so it begins.

- This is insane.

I feel so happy, so grateful.

But at the same time,
I'm freaking panicking.

I don't know how to do this
whatever the Bachelor way,

but I'm just going to be myself,

be Zach, and you know,
enjoy the night.

How are you doing?

Like, is this something

that's a little out
of your comfort zone?

- It's very out of
my comfort zone.

- Yeah?
- Yeah, it is.

- Yeah.
- I came very last minute.

And then when I found out
it was you, I was like,

Okay, this is great.

- Okay, okay.
- It'll be worth it, you know?

- Okay, yeah.
- But something

that really stood out about me
that you've been saying

is, like, you keep referencing,

like, having, like,
a best friend and a partner.

- Yeah.
- That's definitely something

that aligns with me.
- Yeah?

- Having that foundation
is very important.

- Right.
- Before all else,

like, you have to be, like,
my friend.

- I think that's, like,
the most important thing.

- I can tell
you're gonna be fun.

- Yeah, I'm excited.
I mean, this is cool.

- Are you down to be,
like... are you, like, goofy?

Like, are you, like,
weird sometimes?

Yeah, weird.

- Okay, 'cause I didn't know
if you thought

I would be weird
'cause I can be, like,

kind of weird.
- I hope you're weird.

- I'm very weird.
- I'm not looking...

The last thing I want
is, like... like, stuck up

or, like, very professional
or formal or...

- I feel like I'm, like,
being, like, so stiff,

but, like, in real life...
- No, no, no.

You're doing great.

- I'm, like, very, very goofy.

- You're doing great.

- Katherine,
it's like, jaw drop.

Like, absolutely stunning.

Like, whoa.

- It was so nice to talk to you.

- So nice to talk with you.

I think with Katherine,
there is definitely

something there between us.

A little connection.
I don't know what it is yet,

but it's getting me excited,

or it's getting exciting.

That sounds weird when I say

it's getting me excited.

It's get...
There's something there

between Cat... or Katherine and I

that's very exciting.

- He gave such a good speech.

- Yeah.
- I was like, wow.

- It was super cute.

- Like, it was very,
like, at ease.

- He's like a teddy bear.
Like...

- He is like a teddy bear.

- Like, you just want
to go in and hug him.

- Yeah.
- It does not feel real.

- No.
- It doesn't.

- Mostly because I haven't
gotten to talk to him yet.

Like, I can feel
my heart racing.

I just want to get that time
to get to know him

and, I don't know, see if we
connect on a different level

because I think we could.

- Where is he even?

- I see him.
- Oh, I see him.

- Who is he with?

- This is beautiful.
- Isn't it?

- We have to watch
if he kisses someone.

- No, yeah.

Is he gonna kiss her?

- I don't know.

I'm, like, kind of getting
the vibes.

I'm getting nervous.

- No, he wouldn't dare.

- This is pretty wild,
and I'm...

- This is literally wild.
- Getting used to this.

- How are you?
- Uh...

- This is a crazy position
to be in,

and I can't...
- Yeah.

- Imagine the shoes
that you're in right now.

But how is it for you?

- It's weirdly... it's
really difficult, you know?

It's like, I don't know when
it'll ever settle in that I'm,

like, holy, I'm here.

Like, I'm the Bachelor.

Like, it hasn't settled
in yet, but it is such

a great feeling now
having my sh*t to have this

because it didn't...
- Absolutely.

- For me, obviously.
- Absolutely.

- And now I get to meet

all of you incredible women,
and...

- Mm-hmm. Aw.
- It was...

I mean, it was great seeing
you guys come out of the limo.

Like, it was...

- Like, literally, I think...

- The roles have reversed.

- The... yeah, yeah.

And it... I mean, the color
in my face drops.

I...
- No, you were great.

- Yeah, I don't know.
- You were great.

- Yeah.
- And I honestly...

I want to just say how lucky
I feel right now.

Being beside you,
I honestly feel

like the luckiest girl
in the world.

- That's very sweet of you.
- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- It's been a great feeling.

- It has been
a pretty great feeling.

Yeah. Wow, that was...

- You're a good kisser.
- You're a good kisser.

I kissed him.

Kissing Zach feels
like fireworks.

He's a great kisser.

And he's so genuine,
so down to earth.

I see him being a great husband,

a great father,
everything that I hope for.

And he's got very soft lips.

- So I couldn't get you
the whiskey,

but can we play a game?

- Sure.

- I've made Christina's
Compatibility Questionnaire,

'cause this is, like,
a fast process.

- Yes, it is.
- And I feel like, you know,

why, you know, waste time?

Let's see if we're compatible.

And to do so...

- Oh, my... all right.

- I have these rapid-fire
questions,

but I also have drawn
the illustrations.

- Oh, boy.
Here we go.

I'm sure this is gonna be good.

- Okay.
- You go.

- Mountains or beach?
You ready?

- Mm.
- 3, 2, 1.

Mountains.
- Beach.

- Oh, no.

But do you like
the mountains as well?

- I love the mountains.
- I love the beach as well.

That's the problem.

Do you like my shark?

- Is that, like, a sardine?

- It's a really manly shark.

It's a really ferocious...

- You know what?

Your artwork is incredibly...
- Not good.

I do have mountains tattooed,
though, right here

that I could have copied,
but I...

- Oh, wow.
- Did this instead.

- What does that...
What does that come from?

- So actually,
I'm from Nashville.

But whenever my dad moved
when they split,

he moved to Telluride, Colorado.

- Mm.
- And it's my happy place.

- I love that.
- I love Telluride.

All right, a few more questions.

How do you even answer this?

- Which ones are cooler,
dinosaurs or dragons?

And make sure you look
at that dinosaur.

- They're both so cool.

- We're gonna answer on 3, 2, 1.

- Dragons.
- Dinosaur. Why?

- Um...

- Okay, but dinosaurs are real.

- I'm watching a show
with dragons in it.

- That makes sense.

Okay, this one,
I really don't know

how it's got in there, but...

- Oh.

- Giving me a kiss.

What do you think, yes or no?

- Uh, I...

- And that's...
I did draw that with...

- I think yeah.

- Yeah?
- Yeah, I think so.

- Is this the party bus?

- Is Zach on here?

Ahh!

Hi!
- Hi.

- Welcome.
- Welcome.

- I have to sit.

- Yes.

- Zach was talking
to another girl,

and I decided to put myself

into the position
to talk to him.

- We heard that there
is a dance party.

- There's a party.

- Let's go, let's go.
- Whoo!

- I like to party.

- When I know what I want,
I will fight for what I want.

Whoo!

- The girls are absolutely
fighting for Zach tonight.

- Whoo!

- I don't think
they're understanding

that this is about to get,
like, intense.

- Zach has a lot of girls
to choose from.

It's gonna be like
a very big competition.

- 30 beautiful women
in one room,

and it's...

- Whoo!
- I'm surprised

that some of us are
still gonna have our eyebrows

and eyelashes tomorrow.

- How many meatballs
can you fit in your mouth?

- There you go. There's one.
- One.

- And then one.

- One.

- Can I eat them as I go?
- Oh, you're chewing it.

- I'm sorry.

- You're not supposed
to chew it.

- Aw. Two.

- I got two.

Uh-uh.

- Mm-hmm.
- Uh-uh.

- Mm-hmm.

- Uh-huh.
- Uh-huh.

- Oh, God.

You b*at me.

You b*at me. I only had five.

Oh, 'cause you're eatin' 'em.

That's cheatin'.

I can't believe how great
tonight has been.

I'm, like, having
an absolute blast right now.

This is beyond, like,
anything in my wildest dreams.

It's like, just be yourself
and try to find your partner.

It's been a blast,
but it's a lot.

There's a lot of people here.

- So many.

- There's too many women here.

- Buckle up, buttercup.

- Oh, my gosh,
the man of the hour.

Oh, my gosh.

- I feel like it's been so hard

to, like, just get a second
to see you.

I didn't want you to feel
like, because I had a rose,
like,

I wasn't gonna make an effort.

Like, I definitely want
to show that I would,

like, you know, fight for this
and fight to talk to you
and...

- Oh, I appreciate that.
- Get to know you.

- I appreciate that
because, yeah, we, like,

had a brief time on stage...
- Yes.

- Where we did not get to
really talk to each other
much.

- Yeah.
I want to know about you,

so, like, tell me, like,
who is Zach?

- Uh, that's a good question.

Zach is...

just a regular dude
who lives in Austin,

who really does want to find
his forever person

and spend his life
with someone forever.

I love the third person.

- And I'm speaking
in third person.

I just realized it.

He's just the cutest.

Being around you just
reinvigorates me, I guess.

- Reinvigorate... I like that.

Reinvigorated me.

Our chat was really brief,

but like, I know
that I at least did my part

to, like, show that effort.

Like, I'm here for him,
so even though

I am safe
because I have America's rose,

I still would love to get

the First Impression Rose
from Zach.

- Oh, no.
- Oh, my gosh.

Are you serious?
- Right on cue!

- Ladies, good evening.

- Oh!
- Looking great, Jesse.

- I got a little something
for Zach.

- Oh.

- I'm gonna leave that
right there.

- Jesse, go back to ESPN.

- Have a great
rest of your night.

- Thank you.
- We'll see you.

- ESPN.
- Oh, snap.

- Seeing the rose makes me think

that it's going to someone else,

and I haven't even had a
chance to talk to him,

which sucks.

- Well, I think
it's obvious that it's going

to someone else,
because none of us...

- Yeah.
- Have talked to him.

- Well, yeah, no, I got that.

Jesse brought out
the First Impression Rose,

and I thought to myself,
"Oh, sh**t.

Is it too late
to talk to him?"

Like, it just made things get

a little more real
than they already were.

- It is so frustrating.

And it's like, okay,
we're waiting,

and then three hours later...

- About to bust up in there.

- Like, I mean, I'm trying
not to be that girl,

but it's fine.

- I want that
First Impression Rose so bad.

Oh, my gosh.

I would be so excited

if I got
the First Impression Rose.

I would be a puddle.

- So I have
our future baby here.

One of the biggest things...
- Oh, my...

- That a dad has to do

is learn how to change
a diaper, right?

- Oh, my...
- So this is all you.

Like...
- Okay, so I, like, just go?

- Just go.
The baby's crying.

You know what I mean? Like...

- Okay, you ready?
- Like, Mom's out.

Like...
- Okay.

Oh, Mom is out?
We're having a...

- Mom's gone. Like...
- We're having a party.

- We're having a party. Like...

- Yeah, we're getting
pizza tonight.

Okay.

Oh.
- You're losing him.

- Oh, he really filled
this diaper up.

All right. It's okay.

- There you go.
There you go.

All right, getting in there.
- Oh, it's on his leg.

- Oh.
- This is so wrong.

Okay, a little clean-up,

clean-up.
- Yep, clean up, clean up.

- Clean up.

- All right,
this is the big finale.

Come on.

- If you would have...

- Trust your instincts.
- Told me

I'm changing
a fake baby diaper tonight,

I'd say you're losing it.

- Wow.

Good with kids, I see.

- Of course.

Look at this.

- I got to give claps
to this man.

Like...

- Baby's fresh.
- Like, wow.

That was a very good job.

I'm very impressed with that.

Zach does give
husband material vibes.

I think he is very genuine
and very sweet.

And he changed the diaper,
like, perfectly.

I was really impressed.

- But it was so great
talking to you.

And thanks for letting me
change the baby's diaper.

- I definitely could feel
our chemistry

and, like, a spark with Zach
after our conversation.

I would like to get
the First Impression Rose.

I'm hopeful.

I'm feeling good.

- So how are you doing?
- I'm good.

I'm excited to be here.
- Yeah?

- Honestly, like,
your speech that you gave

when you first walked in
really resonated with me.

When you said, "I'm looking
for my best friend,"

I... like, your mom, like,

who's been with your dad
for so long,

like, I was like, "Oh, my God,"

because my parents have been
together since they were 25,

when they got married.
- Wow, okay.

- Mm-hmm.
- Yeah, yeah.

- And both sets of
grandparents are still
together.

- Wow.
- Yeah.

So I really want a
traditional, long-lasting
love.

- Right.

- And so when
you mentioned that,

I... that just really hit home
for me.

- Yeah.
- Like, I'm originally

from Houston, Texas.

I live in New York now.
- Yeah.

- So it's very, very different.

I'm sure you know.

- A little different, yeah.
- Yeah.

- Just a tiny bit.
- Slightly.

- Yes, it's...
- But you live in Austin,

right?
- Different way of life.

Yeah, yeah.
I live out in Austin.

- My brother went to UT, so...

- Oh.
- Yeah.

- Then, yeah,
you definitely know.

- Yeah, I know Austin
super well.

Like, I'm... I actually, like,

wanted to move there growing up.

Like, I made a PowerPoint
for my family listing...

- Stop. You did?
- Yes.

I made a PowerPoint
listing, like, every reason

why we should move to Austin.

And I'm not saying this just
because you live there now.

My end goal is Austin.

- Really?

- Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
- Wow.

- Yeah.
- Okay.

- That's where
I want to settle down.

Like, that's where I want to be.

- Yeah, okay.
- Yeah. 100%.

- It seems like a great spot
to, like,

actually raise a family...
- Exactly.

- And still have fun.
- Yeah.

- Like, you're not
sacrificing anything.

But...
- Yeah.

- I really enjoyed my time
with you, and...

- I really enjoyed
my time with you.

- And I kind of want
to kiss you,

if that's okay with you.
- That's okay with me.

- Is that okay with you?
- Yeah.

Uh-oh.

They're kissing!

Oh, stop it.
- Who is it?

- I don't want to see that.

- It's that girl.

- Um, Greer?

- Okay, they're,
like, making out.

- Yeah.
- Not just a kiss.

- She went in, though.

- I'm screaming.

I am about to rip
the curtains off the hinges.

- They're, like, making out.

I'm...

- Ah!
- Ah!

- I didn't know how this would
feel until, like, this moment.

- Really, though. Me too.

Oh, my God.

They're still going in.

- That's tough.

- Anybody else here getting...

- They're kissing right now.

- Shut up.

Yes.

- Ope. Ope!

- Oh, that's a good kiss too.

- That is a long one too.

- I want to kiss Zach so bad.

And I can hopefully get a kiss
before the night is over.

Okay, so we're gonna hang out
for a little bit.

- Nice little twirl right there.

- I know.
You did that well.

Can I just say,

I am so excited
to finally meet you?

- Really? Is that so?
- Yeah.

I could 1,000% see myself
falling in love with Zach.

Very excited for you
to potentially meet my people,

which happen to reside
in Fargo, North Dakota.

You have to be prepared
for the winter.

Ooh!

Oh, he's so great.

Wait.
- Wow.

- That actually looks
so good on you.

- No, I...
- It's getting a little
toasty,

I bet, for you.
- A little bit?

Yeah, I'm cooking.

- Yeah, I just want to be in
his arms and, like, cuddling.

- It was so good talking to you.

- Thank you so much, Zach.

- I'll talk to you later.
- Sounds great.

I think the attraction
between us

initially was electric,

if there is one word
to describe it.

And I want to kiss Zach.

Oh.
- How was it? Tell us.

- It was amazing.
- Can you tell us? Yeah.

- Yeah?
- Oh, my God.

- What was your conversation?
Fill us in.

I would love to hear.

- The second you look
in his eyes, you're lost.

- Ooh.
- I promise you, you will...

- Aw.

- Not remember
what you were gonna say.

- Oh, my God.
That's so exciting.

- I am on cloud nine

after being able
to talk to Zach.

He is everything that I could
have hoped for and more.

It was so exciting, you guys.
- Yeah?

- What?
- Like, he is so genuine.

- Is he sweet?
- He... oh, my gosh.

He is so sweet, you guys.
- Aw.

- He seems like
he's really sweet.

- I have this weird feeling
that you could

sound like a chicken
really well.

No, that's so terrible.

Don't...
- That wasn't it.

- Don't tell anyone I did that.

- That was not it.
- Don't tell.

Yeah.

- Why is he touching her?

- I know that was really...
- Ugh!

He didn't touch me.

- I think someone has to go

and interrupt this, like,
beautiful date.

- I'm gonna go.
I'm gonna do it.

- All right. Go, girl.

- I'll be back.

I know for a fact
he kissed other women,

and, like, I'll fight for that.

I'll fight for the chance
to talk to Zach again,

especially if it means
to get a kiss from him.

- What team do you cheer for?

- So I played for Cal Poly,
but I root for USC.

- Okay. I'm a Buckeye.

- Honestly,
I admire her boldness.

- That was bold.

Ooh.

- Who's he talking to?

- The girl who spoke to him
already.

- Madison.

- How are you doing?

- Better now that
I'm sitting next to you again.

- Did she get to talk to him
twice, though, tonight?

- Yes, she's talked to him
twice already.

- So Madison stole him again.

I was like, what the?

Honestly, it's like...

I mean, I know,
go after what you want.

But at the same time,
like, don't be that girl.

- Ready?
- Sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So it's like... so we...

What the hell are we...

Okay, that's it. That's it.
That's it.

That was enough.
That was enough.

- That makes me so happy.

- I... so you know I can Griddy.

- You can Griddy.
- I can Griddy. I can Griddy.

I can Griddy, and we can Griddy.

- And you are welcome... ready?

We're gonna Griddy back.

I did kiss him.

Um...

I wish... I wish it was more.

The kiss was subpar.

It was literally a peck.

- Well, thank you so much.

- I appreciate it.
- Well, I'll let you go.

- Thank... no, thank you so much.

- Yeah. That was fun.
- I appreciate it.

- Madison,
I think she's very sweet,

but I don't know
if I was feeling that kiss.

Didn't feel right.

The kiss sat wrong with me.

I'm feeling overwhelmed with
my conversation with Madison.

- How was your second time
with him?

Was there a little...
A little peck,

a little smooch-a-looch?

- There was a peck.

- Did you want it to be more?

- Yeah,
you can only hope, you know?

- Exactly.

That is so embarrassing.

- What are you drinking?

- Not enough.

- Are you okay?

- I don't think that
conversation was a good one.

- I don't think so either.

- I want to be wanted.

It's so embarrassing.

It's embarrassing.

- Uh-oh.

- What?

- No.

Madison.

It is so disappointing.

You know,
you give so much to be here.

- Yeah.

- I want to be wanted.

- I feel like
everyone seems very tense.

- Tense.
- It's late.

- I just don't know what to do.

- 'Cause you have to remember,
like, you're the prize too.

It's not just him.

So...
- If only he knew.

You know, what...
- Yeah.

Hold your head up high.

You makeup is still on fleek.

- These girls are getting
a little crazy.

I feel like
I'm just seeing, like,

the very beginning of it.

- We're all hoping to get
the First Impression Rose,

and I see their anxiety
coming out.

- Not having, like,
a moment with him all night

is, like,
a little bit frustrating,

especially when, like, the
rose is right in front of us.

- It is really nerve-racking.

- Vibes have changed.

It's so frustrating.

I want to talk to him,
and, like,

there's girls who are, like,

speaking to him multiple
times, and it's hard.

- What's happening?
Like, where is Zach?

I'm devastated that
I'm not getting time with him.

He's building connections
with other people.

He's obviously kissing
other people.

Ugh, I'm so annoyed.

I want
the First Impression Rose.

But at this point,

he's not gonna remember my name.

- Charity.
- Hi.

- I mean, first off, great name.

But, like...
- Yes, yes, yes.

- It feels really easy
talking to you.

- Mm-hmm.

I'm glad you remembered my name.

I was gonna ask, like,
did you remember my name?

- It's real hard to forget
a name like Charity.

- Right. Right.

Well, I'm glad you did.
But yes.

- So I want to know, like...

Like, who is Charity?

- Yeah. Yeah.
- What's up?

- So I'm originally
from Columbus, Georgia,

so a small town.
- Okay.

- I got my degree in clinical
mental health counseling.

My specialty kind of focuses
on kids with trauma.

So it's very intensive work.
- Wow.

Wow. That's very sweet of you.

Like, that's not easy,
I imagine at all.

- No, it's not.
Mm-mm. Mm-mm.

It's like,
the things that I hear

are really, like,
you know, hard and rough.

But, like, knowing that
I get to wake up every day

and, like,
pour into these kids' hearts,

it's life-changing, for sure.

- Wow.
- Mm-hmm.

- So, like, I don't know
if you know about,

like, my mom...
- Yeah.

- She is a special needs
teacher...

- Oh, that's beautiful.

- For the most severe
of disabilities.

- Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
- So she's been doing that

for, like, 20-something years.

- That's amazing.
- But it's very difficult.

- It is. Yeah.
- And there's, you know,

only a certain type
of person that can...

- Exactly. Yeah.
- That can do it

and keep a smile on their face
and treat them great.

- For sure.
- And you're, like,

that person.
- Yes.

- Like, I see that in you.
- Mm-hmm.

- And you seem like
an incredible,

awesome woman.
- Mm-hmm.

- And you are
absolutely stunning.

- Oh, thank you.

- And I'd like to kiss you,
if that's okay.

- Oh, my goodness.
Of course.

I cannot contain
my excitement right now,

because he asked to kiss me.

And I was just like,
"Absolutely."

Like, yes.

That's good.

Wow.

- Solid, solid kiss there.

I'm feeling hopeful
for what's to come.

If I was to get
the First Impression Rose,

it would mean so much to me,

just 'cause, like,
he sees me for who I am.

I can only hope,
but obviously, like,

there's so many
incredible women here.

So, like, anyone
obviously could get it.

But I would... I would be
on cloud nine if I got it.

- This is crazy.
- Yeah.

So obviously,
it's nerve-racking.

- Mm-hmm.
- But, you know,

how are you getting through it?

- I've just been eager
to talk to you.

I feel like time is going by,
like, so fast.

So it's a lot.
- Yeah. Yeah.

It's okay. It's okay.
- But yeah.

- Yeah.
- But it's crazy.

Um...
- Yeah.

- And you're really cute.

A lot cuter... I mean,
you're cute on TV,

but really cute in person.

- You are too flattering.

You are too flattering.

- But yeah.

So...

- You are very cute as well.

- Oh, thank you.
- Um...

and you didn't look too
nervous coming out of the
limo.

- Oh, thank you.
- And that was very
impressive.

You were the first one out.
- Yeah.

- So I was...
- I wasn't prepared.

- More nervous, probably,
than you were.

- Yeah.
- And you k*lled it.

- No, you were very comforting.

Like, you kind of bent down
a little bit to talk to me.

And that was nice,
'cause I was like,

"Oh, my God, you're so tall."

And you just... you have,
like, a warm presence.

So I appreciate that.

So thank you.
- Oh.

- You're calming me down.
Thank you.

- I got you.
- My shakes are...

Have gotten less.

Smitten.

Okay, I think
he thinks I'm cute.

Check.

I did not expect that at all.

I hope I made
a really good impression.

- Getting that rose,
like, changes everything.

- It is gonna break my heart
if I see him pick it up

and, like, walk away.

I'll be like, "Ah!"

- I'm, like, so curious to see
who it's gonna go to.

- Mm.

- Where is he?

- Yeah, you tell us.

We have no idea.
- Oh.

Oh.
- Hello.

- Hello, hello, hello.

Greer, can we go talk?

- Yes, we can.

- It's, like, a bummer.

But I'm happy for her.

So...
- Mm-hmm.

- I'm sure the decision
wasn't easy.

- Yeah.
- We're all, like,

really good girls, I feel like.

- We're a good girl group.
- Yeah.

- How are you doing?

- I'm very flattered right now.

I feel really good knowing
that, like, it wasn't just me.

- No, no.
- Yeah?

- It definitely
was not just you.

- Okay, I felt, like,
this zing with you.

- Yeah. Yeah.

- And it just felt so real.

- Yeah. Yeah.

And it like...
- You know?

- It was one of, like,

the easiest conversations
I've had.

And I really enjoyed it,

and I can't wait
to get to know you more.

- Yeah.

- So, Greer,
will you accept this rose?

- I will.
- Yeah?

- Thank you. Thank you.

- Okay, that's enough of that.

I don't want to watch.

But I can't not.

- I feel amazing right now.

I really do.

And I wasn't...
I wasn't expecting that.

We just hit it off.

He's so clear
with his intentions.

He seems like a sweet soul.

I'm not even kidding you,

I felt a firework
when I kissed him.

I wanted to get
his First Impression Rose.

I'm so heartbroken.

I thought he was giving me...

- I'm feeling like I got
some slim chances right now.

I didn't get any chance
to talk to him tonight.

So I don't feel great.

I'm disappointed.
Just, like, kind of down.

Like, I'm really concerned.

Like, I don't want to go home
on the first night

'cause I didn't get a chance
with him.

I'm just praying
that I get a rose.

Oh.

- Ladies,
I'm sorry to interrupt,

but the cocktail party has now
come to an end, finally.

- I haven't spoken to him once.

I'm freaking out.
Like, I can't go home.

I literally need a rose tonight.

Dude, a lot went down tonight.

- A lot.
- Yeah.

- I am more than optimistic

that, you know,
my future could be in there.

Like, I... hard to put into words.

But, like,
incredible connections,

like, from just one night.

So I'm feeling really good.

- I don't know what he wants.

And I don't want to sit
through a Rose Ceremony.

- Ladies, to the Rose Ceremony.

- I have some decisions
to make, for sure.

- How scared are you
that you might

send the wrong person home?

A lot...

Hello.

- Can I disrupt you guys?

- You're almost there.

You're walking into
your first Rose Ceremony.

- I have some decisions
to make for sure.

- How scared are you
that you might

send the wrong person home?

A lot...

Hello.

- Can I disrupt you guys
for a little bit?

- Absolutely.
Take all the time you need.

I'll see you soon.
- Absolutely. Absolutely.

- Thank you so much.

- Hello.

- How are you?
- Good.

How are you doing?
- It is so good to see you.

- So good to see you too.

- I wanted to disrupt
your conversation.

- Yeah.

- I don't want to force things.

And I want things
to come natural.

And whatever this either,
A, might become

or, B, could have been,

um, I just want to make sure

that you want me
on this journey.

Um...

- Yeah.

Yeah.

Well, Madison, I... I appreciate

you coming to me right now
and talking to me about this.

And...
- Yeah.

- You know, I...

I...

I really do thank you
for being here.

And I...

I really appreciated
getting to know you.

But you know, like, as I said,
I never want to lie.

And I always...
- Of course.

- Want to be open and truthful.

But you know,
my heart wasn't feeling it.

- Yeah.
- I never want to force that,

and I don't want
to put you through something

that's not real,

because I know what
it feels like to be led on,

and I don't want that for you.

I'm sorry. I just...

I don't... don't see
a future with us,

but I still think
you're awesome.

I just want to tell you
the truth.

And I...
- I know. I appreciate that.

- And I hope you understand.

- I appreciate that.

- Thank you so much, Madison.
- Yeah.

- Nice to meet you.

- So nice to meet you too.

Oh, I literally want to...

I cannot believe
that I gave up my life for
him.

And I know what I deserve,
and it's not that.

And I know for a fact

he does not know
what he's missing out on.

What wa... what was wrong?

What did I do wrong?

- I want to start off
by talking about the fact

that maybe you all saw
that Madison's no longer here.

You know, wanting
to stay true to myself,

with being honest
and open with my feelings,

I never want to lead anyone on.

So I want, you know,
nothing but the best for her,

but she went home.

Madison is beautiful,
and I think she's very sweet,

but she's not my person.

I'm not doing her any favors
by keeping her around.

I take this very seriously.

I always want to act
with intention

on what my heart
and gut's telling me.

That's, you know,
full transparency.

That's honesty.
It's being open.

I lived through this
experience with Rachel,

and I didn't get that honesty
and clarity I needed.

And I'm going about this
different.

I'm really following
my heart with this

and making
those tough decisions,

but it's in the name of love.

- It's been a really
chaotic night.

Madison is now sent home.

But also, there's still
only 20 roses to hand out.

So that means Zach wants to
get rid of a lot of people
tonight,

and it's a scary feeling.

- I can't go home.

Zach is here
to find a best friend,

and I think
I am his best friend.

He just doesn't know it yet.

And so I literally need a rose.

- Christina.

Christina...
- Yes?

- Will you accept this rose?

- I accept. Thank you.

- Charity.

- Excuse me.

- Charity, will you accept
this rose?

- Absolutely.

- I would be
absolutely devastated

if I didn't get a rose
just because

Zach is such a great guy.

He checks all the boxes.

- Bailey.

- But I didn't get time
with him.

- Bailey, will you accept
this rose?

- Of course.

- So I'm just praying
that I get a rose.

I basically just have to hope

that the 29 other women
that he's also met,

their connection's not stronger

than our brief interaction
at the limo.

- Jess.

Jess, will you accept this rose?

- Of course. Thank you.

- Zach is everything I need
and more.

And so hearing
all the names being called

and not hearing yours...

- Genevie.

- Every emotion
just runs through your body

when each rose is given out.

- Davia.

- You're just like,
is this my time to go?

- Aly.

It's not a good feeling.

- Brooklyn.

- I want him to know me.

- Brooklyn, will you accept
this rose?

- I will.

- And I want to get to know him.

I want to see his good,
his bad, his ugly.

And I didn't give everything up

to just be sent home
the first night.

- Kaity.

Kaity, will you accept
this rose?

- Of course.

Thank you.

- Anastasia.

- Pardon me.

- Girls keep getting called
and called and called.

- Kylee.

- So I'm freaking out.

- Gabi.

- I have not felt flustered
or worked up ever,

and I am flustered.

- Gabi, will you accept
this rose?

- I will, obviously, clearly.

Thank you.

- The time that I spent
with him tonight was amazing,

but at this point,
I could go home tonight,

and I need to start
preparing myself now.

- Katherine.

- Excuse me.

- Katherine, will you accept
this rose?

- Yes, of course.

- So Zach's calling names,

and I start to get
more and more nervous

as the roses dwindle down.

- Mercedes.

- And I'm just waiting for him
to call my name,

but he's not.

So I'm just really, really,
really nervous.

- Ariel.

- If I have to go home tonight,

I'll be really sad.

Like, I didn't even get
a chance with him,

other than, like, putting
meatballs in our mouth.

- Victoria J.

- You know how
people have layers?

Like, I only got to show him
the top layer tonight.

Like, I want to get on
and get deeper

because Zach is a great guy.

- Kimberly.

- And I think he could be
my future husband.

- Kimberly, will you accept
this rose?

- Absolutely.

Thank you.

- So if I don't get a rose,

I'm burning this house down.

- Ladies, Zach,
it's the final rose tonight.

When you're ready.

- Cat.

Cat, will you accept this
rose? - Yes.

Yes?

- Ladies, I'm sorry,

but if you did not receive
a rose,

please take a moment
and say your goodbyes.

- Okay.
- Bye.

- Bye.

Don't cry.

- Becca, don't do this to me.

- Bye.
- Bye, Sonia.

It was nice meeting you.

- It was nice
to meet to you too.

- It sucks that I couldn't
see it through with Zach...

So nice meeting you.
- It was so nice meeting you.

- 'Cause my ultimate goal
is to be a good wife

and mom one day.

- Bye.
- Bye.

It was nice meeting you.

- And I was hoping
to find it here

'cause I thought Zach wanted
the same thing,

but he didn't want it with me.

- So nice meeting you.
-
So nice meeting you too.

- So all I can do is, like,

be a better version of myself.

Yeah.

- Zach, good luck
with everything.

You deserve the best.
- Thank you so much, Holland.

- Take care.
- Thank you. You too.

- Like, I literally care so much

to, like, put my all out there.

It's sad that
I didn't even get, like,

the chance to do that.

- Let's go!

- I just know that I'm ready

for love, commitment,

and I know that that's
what, like, Zach was after.

- This night was
once in a lifetime.

I really can't wait to
continue this journey with
you.

- I wish that I could have had
a chance to show that to him,

but he didn't want it.

- I truly do feel like
my best friend is in this
room.

So cheers to you all.

Cheers.

- Stay tuned for an exciting

sneak peek of Zach's journey...

- Please help me.
Help me, help me, help me.

Please, help me.
- Oh, God.

- Coming up right after this.

- This season...

- I'm ready for love!

- It's an unforgettable
adventure...

- Whoo!
- Whoo!

- Filled with love...

- Every time he holds me,
my heart skips a b*at.

- Passion...

- I feel, like,
that magnetic pull with her.

- And romance.

- I truly see Zach
as my husband.

- Bring on the women!

Zach!

- It's so exciting
to be the Bachelor.

It feels literally like a dream.

- Okay, ladies. Let's go!

Spice it up! Oh!

I love it.

- I'm here to find
my best friend

and spend the rest of my life

with someone that loves me
and I love them.

Zach the Snack!

Zach, Zach, the Snack!

- And I know my wife is here.

- Zach is the most genuine,

emotionally intelligent,
sweet soul.

All of us want
the guy like that.

- This is so cool.

- Unreal.

- After today,
I definitely see myself

falling in love with Zach.

- Whoa.

- I am definitely falling
for you.

Sparks are literally flying.

- I'm falling in love with you,

and I can see a future with you.

- I've waited.

I've really waited
for this moment,

to truly experience
authentic love.

- I'm falling in love with you,

and I can tell you
ten million times

again and again.

- Before I met you,

I honestly didn't think
that I could be this happy.

Zach seems like the perfect guy.

Those are hard to find
these days.

- It's like,
I care about him so much.

Doesn't he miss me
as much as I miss him?

- I'm terrified

that at the end of this,
it's not me.

- We all want Zach, so
the claws are gonna come out.

- I'm, like, already jealous.

- Where's Zach?
- This is so awkward.

It's so awkward.

- What I have with Zach
is amazing,

and I don't want it to go away.

- I'm upset that
I haven't gotten a one-on-one.

- I don't trust Jess.

She's manipulative.

- Are you here for me?
- Yes.

- I don't know
if I believe Anastasia.

- Why are you making this
about you?

Christina is spreading lies

and trying to play
the victim card.

- Please, help me,
help me, help me.

I don't want to lose you.

I'm being set up.

- Oh, my God.

I just... so confused right now.

I like him so much.

I just hope he still wants me.

- I'm falling in love with you,

but my heart's torn.

Why is this happening?

- I've caused pain,

and I've made mistakes.

I just hope,
at the end of the day,

it's all worth it.

I'm so sorry.

What the?

How does this happen?

It's just, like, shocking.

I didn't ever think
it was gonna be like this.

I still love her,

and it might be too late,

but true love
is worth fighting for.

- Do you girls do Kegels?

- It reminded me of clench...
- No!

- Yeah.
- Clench... clenching?

- You have to do Kegels.

- You have to do the Kegels.

- Clenching!
- Clench...

- Do you guys know
what a Kegel is?

- Of course.

- When you put those balls
up your you-know-what...

- No!
- And, like...

Isn't that what that is?

- Christina,
we need to run away.

- It's for, like, grandmas!

- Really?
- Kegels?

- Okay, so, like,
think of, like,

if you could flex
your, uh, hoo-ha.

You know you can.
You know what I mean?

- I think I'm doing it
right now!

- Look... yeah, you might be.

Look.

You... okay, so like,
flex it, and you hold.

- Like, from the inside out?
- Sure.

Yeah.
- There's no "out."

- So hold, like...
- You just do it...

- Clench.
- If there's an "out,"

then you need to go
to the emergency room.

- It's like a clench.
It's like a clench.

Three seconds on
and then five seconds out.

- Hold it, then stop.

Yes.

- And then out.

Right now, we're just...
- Are you Kegeling right now?

- You know what? I am.

- Everyone can...
- It's for health.
