[dramatic music]

- This season on
"The Bachelorette"...

Charity's love story is one
for the ages.

- It's like I'm dreaming.

Whoo!

I feel like a princess.

- It's a journey
filled with romance...

- My heart's swellin'.

- And love.

- I never felt like
fairy tales were meant for me,

but here I am.

- In past relationships,

I have sacrificed
my own happiness.

But not anymore.

One of these men
will be my husband.

I am falling in love with you.

[crying]

- But will her fairy tale have
a happy ending?

- I just didn't expect it
to be this hard.

- You're way too pretty
to cry over me.

- This is not what
this is supposed to be.

- Like spring break,
like, it's like vacation.

- Spring break?

Like, are you kidding?

I'm not here
for the foolishness.

I'm here to find love.

Your loyalty is with me,
and you're saying

you can't even guarantee that?

Can that rose be taken back?

Absolutely.

Who's to say I can't clip
that [bleep] off?

It just doesn't make sense.

- What the [bleep]
is wrong with me?

- Why are you here?

- I said I have to see
these jackasses.

- You're not a [bleep] man.

- I'll [bleep] whup your ass,
bro.

Get in my [bleep] face, dude.

- It's a season like no other.

- I'm sorry.

I'm really about to pass out.

- [sighs]

- I'm...[claps] Heartbroken.

[crying]
I'm [bleep] done. I'm done.

- And the surprises start
tonight.

There's something
I have to tell you.

- Okay.

- The man you're about to meet

is someone you already know.

- No. No.

- You both have
a history together.

- Here he is.

- I'm gonna throw up.

That's fine.

[suspenseful music]

[gasps]

- Charity's incredible
journey starts right now.

Hi, I'm Jesse Palmer,
and welcome

to a very exciting
and very special new season

of "The Bachelorette."

And it's special
because it's the 20th season

of "The Bachelorette."

Just think, 20 seasons

of roses, romance, proposals,

and I'm proud to say, families.

And tonight,
another love story begins.

When we first revealed that
Charity would be

taking the reins,
there was an outpouring

of support the likes
of which we've never seen.

And it really does make sense.

The Georgia native
is intelligent,

she's compassionate,
charismatic,

and she's beautiful,
inside and out.

Charity really does have it all

except someone
to share her life with.

But that's all going to change
tonight.

Now, as you can see,
the mansion looks

a little bit different
behind me,

and that's because there is
some rain in the forecast.

But they say a little rain is
good luck on your wedding day.

Hopefully, it's good luck
for Charity tonight too,

because one of the men
stepping out of the limo

could very well be her husband.

Now, Charity is gonna meet
all the guys

right here in a few minutes.

But before that happens,
let's take a look

at the incredible woman

who all of America
is rooting for.

[camera shutter snapping]

- Give us more.

- My name is Charity Lawson.

I'm 27 years old,

and I'm the newest
Bachelorette!

Whoo!

This is insane.

I'm so excited.

I still can't believe
that this is happening.

- Hi, Charity.

- It's so nice to meet you.

- When I found out that
I was the newest Bachelorette,

I was floored.

Is this for real?

No way.

- This is totally real.

- I've waited forever
to find the love of my life

and have my happily ever after.

- Wow.

I'm speechless.

- This is happening.

- We're very proud of you.

And we're with you
every step of the way.

- I can't wait
to show little girls

that look like me
being in a position

like this is possible.

I know that I'll be making
a lot of people proud.

I'm the next Bachelorette!

Whoo! [laughs]

[upbeat music]

A good time.

We grooving. [laughs]

There's no manual
to being the Bachelorette.

We're just being Charity,
and that's all that I can be.

I had a great childhood,
honestly.

I have three siblings.

I'm the baby.

So I'm a little spoiled there.

[laughs]

We are all so close.

My parents were very involved
and wanted the best for us.

I was academically oriented.

I cheered competitively.

I went to Auburn,
and I got my master's degree

in clinical
mental health counseling.

My life is phenomenal.

Like, I have the best family,
the most amazing friends,

great career, great job.

All that's missing is
another person

to start a family, a life with.

[soft music]

I was in a relationship
for about six years,

and there was
a lot of cheating.

It was always,
"Let's move past this."

But finally, I drew the line
in order to be happy.

- For me, like,
I see something in you.

And I want to learn
more about you because

I feel like there's a lot to...

- There is.

- Peel back.
- [laughing]

Zach helped me see that
there are guys that are good.

You have this, like,
special way of making me

feel really, like, seen.

Zach really pushed me,
and he challenged me.

And it allowed me
to open myself back up.

I'm honestly falling in love.

But unfortunately,
it just wasn't meant to be.

I took a big risk
obviously coming here

and putting my heart
on the line.

Yeah, it's like--
it's bittersweet, for sure.

- But you deserve all the love,
and I couldn't give it to you.

- It was a hard heartbreak
for me.

But it was a huge step
recognizing

that I'm worthy
and so deserving of love.

- I am very, very proud of you.

I truly hope that you're able
to find your partner.

Just everything that you are,
let it shine through.

- My best friend is one
of my brothers, Nehemiah.

He's everything to me.

He has been there
in all the good,

but also all of the bad.

I want this.

And it's obvious
to everybody in my life

how much I want this.

But the hard reality is

that it could not work out.

So, like, I do need to be
real with myself.

And I think
I've been honest with you guys

about, like, not being
as confident with my instincts

in the past, but...

- Mm-hmm.
- Right. Right.

- I think this is the time.

The time is now. [laughs]

- I see, as a mom,
see the growth that you have

and being able to take on
challenges

and do well with it.

Be authentic and truthful.

You don't have to settle.

- I am never settling. [laughs]

Absolutely not an option.

- Mm-hmm.
[laughter]

- Yes.

- My parents have been married
for 48 years.

And that's why
I want this so bad,

'cause I know it can happen

if two people are in the same
mindset of how they view love.

And I cannot wait
to find it for myself.

Getting to LA, I am so eager
to get started.

Ah!

This is gorgeous!

I'm open to anyone
who is ready for love

and willing
to open themselves up.

This is insane.

Truly, I want someone
who is head over heels for me.

I'm excited.

I'm nervous,
anxious, overjoyed.

I'm feeling all the feels

because I'm hopeful
for what's to come.

I'm gonna find my husband,

and I know
it'll all be worth it.

- Hi, Charity.

I am so freaking excited
for you.

I know you're about to take off

on this crazy, wild journey.

I've been in your shoes.

I'm sure you're feeling
all sorts of things,

but tonight is going to be
the start

of one of the most
amazing experiences

you will ever have.

I'm rooting for you.

I hope you find your husband
the same way I did,

and I can't wait to find out.

[upbeat music]

- Tonight is the night.

I'm the Bachelorette,
and I'm about to meet,

hopefully, what I feel
could be my future husband.

I'm feeling so good.

I'm, like, ready.

I'm like, come on,
bring on the men.

I mean, it's crazy
'cause it's happening,

and I cannot--
like, oh, my God.

I just can't speak straight.

Thank you.

I'm ready.

I'm ready to see
the first guy

and get this thing going.

We're about to have
a good night.

- Whoo!

[cheers]

- To a journey, to Charity.

all: Charity, Charity,
Charity, Charity,

Charity, Charity, Charity!

- Well, it's finally the moment
we've all been waiting for.

Charity is pulling up
right now,

ready to meet 25 amazing men.

So is she nervous?

Is she excited?

Well, let's find out together.

Here she is,
our Bachelorette, Charity.

- Whoo!

Oh, my God.

It's happening.

Ah!

I cannot believe it.

[sweeping music]

[quietly] Hi.

- Wow.

Charity...
- Hello.

You look absolutely
breathtaking.

- Oh, thank you.

- How are you?
- I'm good.

- Oh, my gosh.

It's so good to see you.
- Thank you.

So good to see you.

- I hope you feel
as good as you look.

- I do.

I'm incredibly grateful
to be standing here.

I'm excited.

I'm having all the feels--
nervous a little bit.

- In a few moments now,
limos are gonna be pulling up.

You're gonna be meeting

What are you hoping for
tonight?

- I mean, if they want
to impress me,

just be themselves,
and it'll be good.

Authenticity for me
is something I value,

and I am hoping to find that
in my person.

So I'm so excited.

- Well...
- I can't wait.

- I know you've been waiting
a long time for this.

- Yeah.

- The first limo is pulling up.

- Okay.

- So with that, Charity,
let the journey begin.

- Let the journey begin.

- Oh, there she is.

- Whoo!

- Okay.
- Oh. Yeah.

- She's beautiful, man.

all: Charity!

- Bring on my husband.
[laughs]

- This is it.

- Y'all got this.

Let's do it.

[soft music]

- Oh, my goodness.

Wow.
- Hi.

[laughs] Hi.

- Charity.

- Oh, my goodness.

You look good.
- Look at you.

- Oh, my goodness.
- Wow.

- Hi.

- Sparkles match your eyes.
- Oh, my goodness.

- You look amazing.

- Look at you
coming up with the liners.

What's your name?
- I'm Aaron.

- Aaron, nice to meet you.

- Yeah, some people call me
A-A-Ron,

but just keep it simple.

- A-A-Ron, okay.
- Absolutely.

[laughter]
- That I'll remember.

- My name is Aaron.

I'm 29 years old, and I live
in San Diego, California.

During the day, I'm
a software sales executive,

but also,
I have a lot of hobbies.

I like to take my camera,
go for hikes, and play piano.

And you can also
really just connect

with anyone at the beach.

I'm excited for Charity
being the Bachelorette

because she's very smart.

She's emotionally aware.

And of course,
she's so gorgeous.

I mean, this could be
my best friend.

This could be
my teammate for life.

This could be my wife.

Do you believe in fate,
Charity?

- I do.
- I got something real quick.

- Okay. Oh, God.

[laughs]
- I have a lucky coin.

- Okay.
- I'm gonna flip it.

If it's heads, we get engaged.

- Okay.
- If it's tails...

- Mm-hmm.

- I pack my bags; I go home.

- Oh, gosh.

[gasps]
Oh, my goodness, it's heads!

Look there.
- See you inside.

[laughter]

- Very nice meeting you.
- So nice to meet you.

I'll see you inside.
- Bye.

- Bye.

- This is a good start.

Smart and clever.

I love it.

- Ms. Charity Lawson.
- Hello.

Not the last name. [laughs]

- Sorry.

- Ms. Charity Lawson,
I like that greeting.

- Ms. Bachelorette.

I'm so excited to meet you.

- Yes. So nice to meet you.

- I've been dreaming
about this moment.

- I love that.

What's your name?

- My name is Josh.

- Josh.

- Do you mind
if I take this hand?

- Oh, go for it.

- I believe that my heart
is full of warmth...

- Yeah.
- And it will be a promise

to protect and to honor
and to cherish you.

- Okay.

All right.
You just won me over.

Got it. [laughs]

- I'm so grateful to meet you.
- So grateful.

This is really--
what a great intro.

So I can't wait to talk more
on the inside, Josh.

[laughs] Great.

[laughs]

- Hello.
- Hello.

- How are we doing?

- I'm, like, playing
hide and seek with the pole.

- Yeah, I can tell.
It's a little bit in the way.

- It's a little bit in the way.
Blocking the view.

- How are you?

- I'm good.
- You look unbelievable.

- Oh, my goodness.
- How you doing?

- Good. How are you?

- I'm doing great.
- Good.

What's your name?
- My name is Joey.

I grew up
in the Philadelphia area...

- Okay.
- Kay.

But I live in Hawaii currently.

- Oh.

[relaxed music]

- Life in Hawaii is amazing.

I feel very lucky
to live there.

I moved out to Hawaii
for a job

as a teaching tennis
professional.

What I've learned most
from teaching tennis

is I'm very compassionate.

I'm very patient.

My parents split
when I was pretty young.

I wouldn't say it was easy,
but my family is just

an extremely loving family,
and both my parents

were amazing co-parents.

So the fact that
that didn't work out

doesn't take away
from romance for me.

I'm definitely
a hopeless romantic.

I want to be married.

I want to have a love
that lasts a lifetime.

[chicken clucking]

So I'm really ready

to go on this journey.

So this is a plumeria flower.

- Oh, my goodness.

- A lot of women in Hawaii
wear them above their ear.

- Okay.
- Would you mind?

- Absolutely.

- How does that feel?

- That feels great.
Oh, my goodness.

- And a little known fact
is that you wear it

above your right ear
when you're available.

- Mm-hmm.

- And you wear it above
your left once you're taken.

- Okay.

- So hopefully
by the end of this journey,

I'll be the reason why you want
to wear it above your left.

- We'll see. [laughs]

- Awesome.
Thank you so much.

- So nice meeting you.

- Yeah, I look forward
to seeing you inside.

- Yes, me too. Can't wait.

Switching it to the left.

Good game plan, Joey.

Oh.

Hi.
- Hi.

- I'm, like, leaning over.
Hello.

- How are you
- How are you?

- You look beautiful.

- It's so nice meeting you.
- So nice to meet you as well.

- Should we do a hug?
I think we should do a hug.

- Yeah, absolutely.
How are you feeling?

- What's your name?
- I'm Warwick.

- Warwick.
- Yeah.

So fun story--my parents
actually met on a flight.

- Oh, my goodness.

- Yeah, I went ahead
and booked us a flight.

Hopefully we have
the opportunity to have

something like my parents had.
- Oh, my goodness.

I love that.

Oxford, Ohio, is that right?

- Yeah.
- Okay.

Well, hopefully
we'll get there.

- Sounds good. Perfect.

- It was so nice meeting you.

- So nice meeting you too.

- I can't wait to talk inside.

- Perfect.

- All right.

One-way ticket.

[laughs] Love it.

- How are you doing?

- I'm doing good.
How are you?

- Good evening.

- You look good.
- Oh, my God.

- Spiffy!

- My name is Xavier.

- Xavier.

- I'm finishing my degree
in biochemistry.

I'm getting my doctorate.

I live in North Carolina.

I'm 27 years old,

and I'm a science nerd,

I guess I would say.

My mom suffers from
an autoimmune disease,

so I attribute some of my
interest in autoimmune disease

and science to, like, her.

When I'm not in the lab,
I like to knit.

I have, like,
many different interests.

I knit on the side.

I also play ukulele.

I definitely think
Charity is super unique,

and hopefully we have
some chemistry.

So I've dedicated my life
to understanding

different biological sciences.

But...
- Oh, great.

- There is one cure that
I have not been able to find.

And that is the cure
to a lonely heart.

- Absolutely.

Well, that's the plan.

- That's the plan.
Absolutely.

- Thank you for being here.

- Very nice to meet you.
- Nice meeting you.

We'll chat more on the inside.

- Absolutely.
I'll see you in there.

- Finding the cure
to a lonely heart.

I'm on a mission.

- This is wild.
- This is wild.

- You look stunning. Wow.

- Oh, my goodness.
Thank you.

- Hello.

- So nice to meet you.
- Absolutely.

- My name is Caleb.

I'm a doctor.

I'm in family medicine.

- Love that.

- And actually,
would you mind...

- Oh.
- Throwing this on for me?

- Okay.

- You got that? All right.
- I have never done this.

[laughs]
- Take a good listen.

Tell me what you hear.

- A heartbeat. Ooh.
- Okay.

That is a heart b*ating
just for you.

- Oh, I love this.

- Yeah? Yeah?
- [laughing]

You're already a doctor.
Look at you go.

- This is very--
literally, I already passed.

- I'm excited to be here,
excited to get to know you.

- Yes, we'll chat more
on the inside.

- Absolutely.
I'm looking forward to it.

- Absolutely.
- Take care.

- Thank you.

This is surreal.

I have already met
so many great guys,

and these guys are bringing it.

- One thing I do know
about you, Charity,

is that your name means love.

So "Khalid" actually means
"eternal" or "forever living."

- Let's put it together.

- And that's what I'm saying!

- Tonight,
I started off very nervous.

But these guys are making me
feel really good.

And wow, am I already so lucky.

- I've always been a fighter.

And I believe in
fighting for you.

- Oh.

They are all so sincere,
funny, creative.

- What's up, Charity?

- [laughs] Hi.

They're really leaving
an impression on me.

Perfect. Hi.
- All right.

So I'm a commercial diver.

You know, I just want
to dive in with you.

- Absolutely.

That's the point
of this journey

is for me to dive deeper
into all the connections

and see where things can go.

- I brought you this candle.

- Okay.

- In hopes that you
and I can make a wish

together for this journey.
- Absolutely.

- All right.

Should we do it?

- Yeah, absolutely.

Hopefully
the connections can grow

all the way
to a proposal at the end

and a love of a lifetime.

- Since I'm from Pittsburgh,
we wave our terrible towel.

- Oh, I love that.

- So I brought you something.

- Okay.

- It's a Tanner towel.

- Oh, clever.
Let's see.

- Let's see it.

- All right,
we'll get a good wave in.

Whoo!
- Perfect.

[laughter]

- These guys are amazing.

And I'm so happy.

I feel like jumping for joy.

Like, I'm feeling truly great.

- Listen, when I knew that
you were the Bachelorette...

- Okay.

Oh, [bleep].

That was so good.

- I literally flipped out.

[upbeat music]

My name is Chris.

I'm 27 years old,
from New York,

and I'm the world record holder

for the highest standing jump.

My professional
jump journey started

as a professional dunker.

People are always gunning
for me on social media.

And one day, I'm hoping
to train the athlete

that breaks my record.

That would be amazing.

I'm absolutely
excited to establish

a connection with Charity.

And I believe that
my competitive past

will definitely
shine through here.

Charity, you already got me
flipping out over meeting you.

- I'm impressed.

That was--that was k*ller!

[laughs]
- Thank you.

- Okay, I'm done.

That guy's doing backflips,
and I'm in HR.

[laughter]

- "I'm in HR"!

[laughter]

- If you can do a backflip,
why not, man?

That's cool.
That's memorable.

You get it, man.

- That was so good.

- I think it's important
to show the extra mile

that we're willing to go
to try to impress Charity.

So who knows
what's gonna happen next?

- Hi, Charity.

It's your favorite
washed up Bachelorette,

Kaitlyn Bristowe.

I wanted to, first of all,
commend you

for becoming the Bachelorette
and taking on that role

and being brave.

I think you need
to remember the reason

we all fell in love with you.

And that's because
you are not afraid to show

your true, authentic,
vulnerable self.

And I can't wait to watch you
succeed and fall in love.

- There she is.

- Oh, that's her!

- Uh-oh.
- I'm so excited.

- Whoo!

- She looks
absolutely amazing.

all: Charity!

- Oh, my goodness.

Bring on the men.
Bring on the men.

Bring on my husband.

Bring on my husband.
Bring on my husband.

Yay.

- Oh, wow.

- Hello.
- How are you doing?

- I'm good.
How are you?

- I'm doing good.

You look absolutely
freaking amazing.

- Oh, my goodness.
Thank you.

Nice to meet you.
- Hi.

Nice to meet you.
Sorry for the awkward side hug.

- No, it's fine.

You got something hiding
under there.

- Yes, I do.

I work as a nurse in San Diego.
- Okay.

- And so I figured that,
you know,

you gotta be responsible,
make sure we're, you know,

up to date on our sh*ts.

- Speaking the love language.

- Yeah, right?

My name is Brayden Bowers.

I'm from San Diego,
California.

I'm a very emotional person.

Like, I feel a lot, you know?

Like, I'm in that mindset
where it's like

I'm constantly
evaluating things,

but I also like
to have fun too.

Made it to the top
of the mountain.

There's very few experiences
that I'd say no to.

I want to live my life with
a wanderlust for the world.

You know, like Aladdin.

That's like--
that's what I want to do.

Like, I want to, like--

I want to go
on a magic carpet ride.

I want to find someone
that's gonna experience

all these things with me.

And I hope that's Charity.

I've been cheated on
in the past.

And she knows what it's like
to be hurt like that,

so it makes me
a little bit more hopeful

for this whole thing.

I just want that connection
with someone, you know?

[laughs]

- What are we cheersing to?
- sh*t at love.

- sh*t at love.

Love that.

All right.

- Oh, God.
[coughing]

- You didn't take your lime.
Come on.

- I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie to you.

Old tequila is not my friend.

- Oh, my goodness.

Okay, well,
we'll figure it out.

- We'll get there.
We'll get there.

- We will get there.

It was so nice meeting you.

- I'll see you inside.
- This way.

- Oh. This way.
Thank you.

- That way.
- All right.

- Good job.

- All right.

- That's a good one. [laughs]

Keep 'em coming.

- Thank you.

- Hello.

- Hi.
- Hi. [laughs]

How are you?

- Terrified.
- Don't be.

[laughs] We can hug.

Absolutely.

- You look beautiful.
- Thank you.

What's your name?
- My name is Spencer.

- Spencer, nice to meet you.

- Charity?

- Yes, that's me.

That's me. [laughs]

- Um, well,
I'll tell you more about me.

- For sure.
- Um...

I--I guess, for instance,
me, I'm Spencer.

- Yes. You're Spencer.

[laughs] You're Spencer.

- Like, my hobby thing,
I've been doing

a lot of, like, martial arts.

- Okay, fun.

Maybe you can teach me some,
perhaps?

- Can I?
- Yeah.

- Ready?
- Yeah, okay.

- All right, so this is, like,
a somewhat dicey...

- Dicey? Okay.
- Move, okay?

- Oh, God, please.
- So the big thing here

is that, like, if anyone, you
know, like,

gets out of line with you...
- Okay.

- Right?
- Yeah.

- You're just gonna kick 'em
right in the nuts.

- Okay. [laughs]
- Okay?

- Okay.
- And we're gonna--hold on.

We're gonna--
we're gonna practice.

- Okay.
- Are you ready?

- Yeah. Wide stance?

Oh, I don't know if I can
do that in this dress.

Oh, God. What's happening?
- Let's go. Let's go.

Let's go.
Come on, let's practice.

- I'm not gonna kick you.
- You're not?

- There's no way
I'm doing that.

Are you kidding?
- Thank you.

[laughter]
Thank you.

I was--I was worried
that you would.

- No way, no.

- I thought maybe
I could get you to.

- Oh, no.

I would never do that.

And I don't have much freedom
in this dress, so it's okay.

We'll save that for when
I actually need to do it, okay?

- You would never need
to do that with me.

- Okay.
That's all that matters then.

So nice meeting you.

We'll talk more inside.

- Thank you.

- Yes, of course.

Oh, my God.

What a wild card.

- I think my first interaction
ever with Charity

seems like maybe we did
have a bit of a spark there.

I--we had a moment.

- Oh. We got a cowboy.

I love this.

Howdy.

- Howdy.
- Howdy.

- Hello, Charity.
- Hi. Nice to meet you.

- My name is Caleb.
- Can we hug?

Nice to meet you.

- It is absolutely wonderful
to finally meet you.

[rock music]

- [grunting]

Hi, I'm Caleb Balgaard
from Orlando, Florida.

And I'm a professional
wrestler.

My wrestling persona is
a self-loving douche.

- Ugh!

- But it's the opposite
of my personal personality.

I wear my heart on my sleeve.

And I think what Charity
is gonna be looking for

is authentic men
that are being themselves.

Charity has a great head
on her shoulders

and absolutely massive,
beautiful heart.

I can definitely see myself
falling in love with Charity.

It was wonderful
to meet you, Charity.

- So nice meeting you!
- I'll see you soon.

- All right.
- All right.

Bye-bye.

- Cowboy.

Love that.

How are you?
- I'm doing great.

How are you doing?
- Good.

So nice to meet you.

- So nice to meet you finally.

- You're tall.
[laughter]

I'm, like, on my tippy-toes.

- Okay. Well, my name is Joe.

- Okay.

- This dude's tall.

- Yeah.

- There are a bunch
of tall dudes.

- Why is everyone so tall?

They're huge.

[quirky music]

- Hi.

- Hi, Charity.

- Hello. [laughs]

Tall. [laughs]

- And I'm just like, damn.

I'm gonna be the shortest guy.

You guys are all so big.

I gotta pick smaller friends.

I'm probably the entire time
just looking like this.

- My name is Adrian.
- Adrian?

- Yes.
- Nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you as well.

- You're very tall.

[laughs]
- [laughs] Yeah.

- It's intimidating
with all these guys here.

- Well, I mean, most of the
guys seem really cool so far.

- Yeah.

- We're an eclectic group,

and they're all great dudes,

super successful.

- I'm James.
- James.

- I'm an attorney in Chicago.

- Okay.
- Very good-looking.

And every dude's got
their own game.

- As an airline pilot,
maybe we'll be

each other's co-pilots...

- Perhaps.

- On the journey to love.

- Love that.

- I mean,
everyone's trying to make

that good first impression.

- It is a charm bracelet
with a pendant...

- Oh, my God.
- Of a boat.

- Okay.

- Because I am
a captain in Chicago.

- Oh.

- What's up with the helmet?

- That's what I do for
a living, commercial diving.

- Man, that's dope, dude.

- Everyone's bringing
these gimmicks.

But there's so many guys
with a lot of good qualities,

Charity needs to see
that we are

making an effort to stand out.

- All right, kids.

I'm meeting your mom
for the first time.

- Oh, God.
This is great.

Not a home video already?
- Oh, yeah.

It's already on video.

[laughter]

- There's no way she remembers
every single one of us

walking in here, man.

Real women don't remember
pickup lines.

- This process made me feel
very grateful,

and I wanted to make
a donation to Charity.

- Thank you. [laughs]

- And I was thinking
what could be big enough,

and I figured, my heart.

- Do you think you left
a good first impression?

- I think so.

I was trying to be
memorable, right?

- So this is a fortune cookie.

- I love fortune cookies.
- It's a little Chinese,

a little American.
- Yeah, I love it.

- I'm a little Chinese,
a little American.

- Yeah, absolutely.
- So I think it's fitting.

- Okay.
- Do you want to open it?

- Oh, you want me to...

- There's a little something
there for you.

- Look there.

"You will meet the man
of your dreams tonight.

His name is John."

- I'm just as shocked
as you are.

That's a--you picked
a good one.

[laughter]

- This is great.

Oh, my goodness.

- See you.

See you.

- Bye.

- So cute.

Love it.

[upbeat music]

Hello.

- Well, well, well.

- Well, well, well.
What do we have here?

- Yo, you need to chill.

- No, I don't think I need to.

- My word.

- Oh, my goodness.

- It is such a pleasure.

- Greatest hype man.

- It is so surreal to meet you.

Two weeks ago,
I got a phone call

that turned my life
upside-down.

And that was the opportunity
to be here

standing in front of you today.

My name is Dotun.

I'm 30, and I live
in Brooklyn, New York.

I work as an integrative
medicine consultant.

I've always been seen
by my friends and family

as, like, the cool kid.

I don't feel cool,
but I guess, you know,

I guess I am to them.

[laughs]

I was born in Nigeria
and came here when I was four.

We came here with nothing,
but my parents took on

whatever job they could.

They've done really well
to give me

a life that I'm happy to live.

So it's been
a really humbling experience.

When I was watching
"The Bachelor,"

Charity really stuck out
to me.

I remember just looking at her
and being like,

"Okay, now that's the type
of girl where

"I might actually be able
to fall in love

in, you know,
a short amount of time."

And so I'm really, really
excited to get to know her.

When I want something,
I go for it.

I'm super nervous and uncertain

that this was something
I can do.

And all that kind of changed
once I laid my eyes on you.

- Aw.
- So here I am.

- Yes, you are here.
- Following through.

- So glad.

- And I wholly look forward

to getting to know you,
Charity.

- I cannot wait.

Absolutely. Thank you.

All right, stay dry.
- Will do.

You too.

Stay warm.

- All right, bye.

- Whoo!

- He's a charmer.

That's for sure.

Gotta keep my eye on him.

- What's going on, everybody?

- Hey.
- This is it.

- We can cut it off right now.
- Lock the doors.

Lock the doors.
- Yeah.

- The men to women ratio here
is not ideal.

Having to compete with

I would say
I'm really confident.

But when you get
in this situation, like,

it's a little bit
of an ego check.

- What do you think?

You feel like your husband's
here tonight?

- I really do.

And that's crazy to say.

- Everyone's happy,
smiling, cracking jokes.

But it's dog-eat-dog.

Your true personality shines
when you're under stress.

- Yeah.
- I mean,

it doesn't need to be
overly competitive.

- Yeah.
- Right?

- Yeah.

- Until the plot twist comes.

- Well, Charity,
there is a limo

that's about to pull up, okay?

The man you're about to meet
is someone you already know.

- No. No. [laughs]

No, no, no.

Wait. [laughs]

- The truth is,
this guy reached out to us,

and he was adamant that
he be here tonight.

So we decided to give him
that opportunity.

- What is happening?

My heart is b*ating
out my chest.

- The limo's pulling up
right now.

- Oh, my gosh.

- And here he is.

- Okay.
- Good luck, Charity.

- I'm gonna throw up.
That's fine.

Thank you.

[dramatic music]

Okay.

All right.

Doing this.

Oh, God.

What is happening?

[gasps] Oh, my God!

Ah!

[laughs] Oh, my God!

- [chuckling]

- So--oh, my God.

What are you doing here?

- How are you?

- Oh, my God.

[laughter]

My brother is here.

I can't believe it.

I cannot believe it.

Like...whoo!

Oh, my God. I'm gonna cry.

- You look so beautiful.

I'm so excited for you.

- Thank you.

He's the best brother,
my best friend, and my rock.

I'm so happy.

Oh, God.

I'm gonna cry.

No, I'm not. [laughs]

I'm so grateful
that you're here.

You don't understand.

Like, everyone knows
how much you mean to me,

and this is great.

- I'm in your corner.
- Thank you.

- I love you.
- Love you.

- And I can't wait to see

what the rest of this night
holds for you.

- Thank you.
- Okay.

- It's gonna be great,
hopefully.

- It's gonna be amazing.
- Yeah.

- It's gonna be great.
- Thank you.

- Love you.
- Love you.

- My sister looks absolutely
beautiful as the Bachelorette.

She's gonna do amazing.

But there are
a lot of guys here.

She's not gonna be able
to hear and see everything.

- This is insane. [laughs]

- So Charity thinks
that I'm just here

to be supportive
of her journey,

but she has no idea
that I'm going to be

watching out for everything
these guys say and do.

I have a plan.

It involves a disguise,
and it's gonna help me

really find out more
about these guys.

Reality is, there's always
a bad apple or two.

So I'm gonna be
a bartender tonight,

and my job is to make sure
I can kind of spot that out

without being
a little too obvious.

So tonight, I'm about
to become undercover brother.

This is gonna be fun.

- Hey, Charity.
Ali here.

Here's my advice for you.

Here's what you should do.

Figure out
what guy you like night one,

and then ignore him. [laughs]

Like, push him to the side.

Don't, like,
play games ignore him,

but just give yourself a chance

to give the other guys
a chance.

[thunder rumbling]

- Don't ever say I won't
keep you on your toes.

- Okay, that was it.

That was the best
surprise ever.

Like, are you kidding?

- What an amazing moment
to see Nehemiah come here.

- That was great.
- What was that like?

- That was everything
I actually needed.

You know how much
he means to me.

He's my brother,
but my best friend truly.

And I was kind of
in my head a lot

that he wasn't gonna be able
to share this moment.

That's insane that he's here.

I still can't get over it,
but yeah.

- You know what?
You are so lucky

to have such an amazing
family like that.

- I am. I am.

I don't take it for granted.

I realize how blessed I am.

- I know you've waited
a very long time for tonight.

- Yes. Yeah.
- So what do you think?

You ready to head on inside,
get this party started?

- I think so.
I am more than ready.

- Okay, but before we do,
let's quickly talk roses

for a second, okay?
- Okay.

- I know you know about
the First Impression Rose.

- Yes.

- Obviously,
it's really, really important.

And tonight,
you're gonna hand that rose out

to a lucky gentleman
who stands out to you the most.

And it can be for anything
whatsoever.

It's totally up to you.
- Mm-hmm. Okay.

I'm so excited.
- You ready to head in?

- Absolutely.

- So excited for you.

I'm gonna chaperone you inside.

- Okay, perfect.

I'm overwhelmed.

I'm excited.

I'm happy.

But in all honesty,
I am incredibly nervous.

I have to give a speech.

I want to speak
from the heart, but boy,

am I freaking out right now.

- The second you saw her,
it was just like...

- She looked unreal.

- My heart was legit, like,
pounding.

- I'm so nervous.

- You might be meeting
your future wife.

That is so special.

- Charity!

[cheers and applause]

- Ms. Bachelorette!

- Hello. Thank you.
- For you.

- Thank you. Thank you.

My goodness.

Wow, y'all, I'm--I'm shaking.

I'm nervous.

- We're all nervous.

It's okay.

- I am so incredibly lucky
to be here.

I'm so grateful to have
a funny, sincere,

creative batch of men.

And I cannot wait to get
to know you all more tonight.

I remember when I was
announced as the Bachelorette,

I honestly had
so many different emotions

running through me.

I was terrified.

And I'm sure you guys are
feeling the exact same way.

[laughs]

So we're good.

But honestly,
I can't thank you guys enough

for putting your lives on hold

to see what could be here
with me.

This is a crazy way
to find love,

but I know that
this process does work.

Although my happy ending didn't
happen, I did fall in love.

- Yet.
- Yet. That's right.

There we go. Yeah.
[laughter]

But I did fall in love.

And I know that this can work

if you truly lean into it.

So with that being said,

cheers to a crazy adventure
up ahead.

And let's let
the journey begin.

all: Cheers!

[glasses clinking]

- Seeing Charity,
it's surreal.

You imagine this moment
over and over again,

but like, nothing compares
to the actual situation.

So it begins.

Yeah.

She almost seems like an
out of this world experience.

She's just floating.

All right.

You're gonna have to be
nice and close with me now.

- Yeah. Yep.

- Charity looks unbelievable.

I'm extremely eager
to connect with her

and get to know her better.

It's just--really,
it's awesome to be here.

I'm so excited.
- I'm so glad.

- I'm grateful.

- That really does mean a lot.

And I know, like, it's--

this is crazy,
but I can't express

how happy I am
to be in this position...

- For sure.
- And to have you all here.

- Yeah.
You're worth it.

- Thank you.
- You truthfully are, though.

I hope you understand that.

- Yeah, and it means a lot,
honestly,

hearing that from you, so...

- No, I hope that if you can
take anything from this night,

to see all these guys are
really happy that

you're the person that's here
and just stoked

to get the opportunity
to know you more.

- I'm so happy.

- How's everything
been feeling for you

with this whole--stuff?
- It's been good. Yeah.

- Yeah?
- Yeah.

- Is it feeling, like,
weirdly comfortable?

- Yeah, that's what I was--
- That's good.

- Yeah, I have, like,
peace about everything,

which I was, like, so terrified
coming into all this.

- Well, it's tough, right,
coming out from the experience

that you've had.

I can totally understand that.

So--but I mean, again,

I've never really watched
the show before.

- Yeah.

- But it was just--
it was really nice

to be able to see
how genuine you were

about everything, like...
- Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

- For me, it's important to be
unapologetically yourself.

And it's just very obvious
that you were.

And you can tell when
people are real, I guess.

For me, it's just
a very apparent thing.

- Mm-hmm.
- And it's just--

it's a breath of fresh air.
- I love that.

- It really is.
- I love that.

Thank you.
- I know. It's freezing.

- It is freezing. [laughs]

We're just gonna snuggle.

- That's good by me.

- Joey gives me butterflies.

I'm not gonna lie.

Um...

it's just something
about his smile

but also, like, his presence.

Thank you.
- Yeah, of course.

I appreciate
the time you gave me.

- Oh, great.

You're great.

I am the luckiest girl
in the world tonight.

- So I know that family is
really important to you.

- Oh, absolutely.

- And it's super important
to me.

So my parents have sent us
something for tonight.

- Oh, wait.

That's too sweet.

- And I figured we could
open it and check it out.

- Let's do it.
- Okay.

- Okay.

- You got it?
- Yep.

[gasps]

Oh.
- Oh.

- Okay, this is sweet.

- Um, okay.

The box has a note
from my mom.

I didn't assume that my mom
would be writing Charity

a letter that
she was going to then open

on our first meeting together.

Like, it's definitely strange.

- You okay?
You're crying?

- I didn't know that
she would do that.

- No, it's okay.
I love this.

This is great.
Should I read it?

- Yeah. Yeah, okay.

- Okay.
You want me to read it?

I'll read it aloud. Okay.

"Dear Charity, we are beyond
excited that you were chosen

"to be the next Bachelorette.

"I saw you on
'The Bachelor' last season,

"and you're the reason
I became a fan.

"I can tell from watching you
and finding out

about your life and goals
that you are very special."

This is so sweet.

"You are actually
exactly the kind of person

"we have been praying
that James would find someday.

"We wish you all the best
as you begin this new journey

"to find your forever guy.

Of course, we hope it's James."

[laughs]
- Thanks, Mom.

[laughter]

- "Whoever you choose
will be very blessed.

"We hope you enjoy
a little taste of home

"with the cider and donuts
fresh from our farm.

Love, Shannon, AKA Mom."

[laughter]

- That's a lot.

- No, this is so sweet!

- No, so I grew up working

on my family's
apple orchard in Indiana.

- Indiana.

James is a precious lamb,
like...

Just a sweet soul.

That handwritten letter
from his mother,

ooh, I'm not gonna lie.

It was--almost brought me
to tears reading.

It's so sweet.

- This is super good.
- I know.

They're so good.

Tonight is off
to a great start,

and there is so much
to look forward to.

- Dang, you're so pretty.
I'm not gonna lie.

- No, not me.

- I'm trying to talk
about myself,

and I'm trying to--mm.

- What do you feel like
are some qualities

that you're looking for?

- Beautiful, great--
- Great. Check.

- Just being--
being able to be honest.

- Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
- Genuine, vulnerable.

- How do you feel like
you are when it comes

to, like, vulnerability?

Like, is it hard for you

to, like,
express your emotions?

- No, it's not hard for me
to express my emotions.

I feel like any time
I have the opportunity

to tell somebody how I feel...

- Mm-hmm.
- I definitely do that.

- Yeah.
- And that's what I want to do

on this journey.
- Mm-hmm.

- Hopefully, you know,
you see that in me.

I know there's a lot
of people out here,

but you know...
- Mm-hmm.

Yeah.
- I think that maybe...

- Maybe. Perhaps.
- We can explore.

- I think so.

I definitely do.
- Mm-hmm.

- Do you feel like
there's anything

that you're scared about?

- Scared about?
- Mm-hmm.

- Hmm.

- You can be honest.

[laughs] You definitely can.

- I'm scared somebody about
to walk through that door.

- You--[laughs]
- Yeah.

- That's a good one.

- Yeah, but nothing really,

because you know, I feel like
I'm a pretty open person.

And I like to be open.
- Mm-hmm.

- And so, yeah, I just
need the opportunity--

- It's so loud, sorry.

- It is.

I just need an opportunity.

You know what I'm saying?

- Yeah.

I'm happy that you're here.

- Thank you.

I appreciate that.

I'm happy to be here.

Definitely.

- Good.
- Yeah.

[romantic music]

- Xavier, Xavier, Xavier.

Um...

definitely takes me
by surprise.

He is one I gotta keep
my eyes on.

That kiss is just almost
too good to be true.

Like too good, too good.

I'm hoping that all the guys
are this great.

- All righty.

How many guys have we got?

Watching each
and every one of you.

So I surprised Charity
by coming here tonight.

She had no idea I was gonna be
here, which was amazing.

And she was totally
caught off guard.

But that is not
the only surprise.

I am going to be at the bar
as a bartender.

Strategy as the night begins
is to take it easy

and see how the guys
are feeling.

How are you feeling?

- Like right now?
- Yeah, right now.

- Oh, yeah.

Well, you know,
got the excitement

plus, like, the anxiety.

You gotta try and, like, find

your moment to find Charity.

Like I said--

- Have you talked with her?

- No, I would love to.

I've been waiting
for this moment.

I wanted to be able
to see her so I can say hi.

- Because I'm the older
brother, I'm on the lookout,

because men can be dogs.

- Is anyone planning
on kissing her tonight?

- If the vibe's there,
for sure.

- Yeah.
- Yeah, I agree.

- I think that's really
what it is.

- You can't rule it out.
Why would you rule it out?

- I heard about

talking about wanting
to kiss my sister.

- She wouldn't kiss
anyone but me.

[laughter]

- Hearing guys talking about
my sister like that is weird.

Oh, my God.

What did I sign up for?

Why am I doing this?

Why did I think
this was a good idea?

Oh, man.

I just--this--this is a lot.

- Hey, Charity.

Congratulations on

your Bachelorette journey.

I am so excited to watch,
and I am just hoping

and praying that you meet
your Prince Charming

and that you have many,
many years of wedded bliss.

[soft music]

[thunder rumbling]

[both screaming]

- They're gonna be like,
"What's happening?"

[both laughing]
- She's okay.

She's okay.

- I can hear her laugh.

She's up there with somebody.

- What's up, guys?
- Hi, gentlemen.

How you guys doing?
- How are you?

- What's your drink of choice?
What can I get for you tonight?

- I'll just have water.
- Water? Okay.

Being the bartender,
I ended up working a lot more,

and I think there was
a very delicate balance

between making these drinks,
making it seem believable.

I am observing
all of these men tonight,

just kind of catch on
to what they're saying,

what they're doing.

And as the night progresses,

really kind of lean in
to certain questions.

Do you feel like something
like this is realistic,

falling in love
in this type of scenario?

- 100%. So I'm hopeful.

- All right.

- We'll see.
- Well, cheers to you.

So far, it looks like
a really good group of guys.

But I really want to see
if there's something

that kind of gets spilled,

some information
or some things that are said

from the guys today
that might be

a little bit questionable.

- So dating-wise, I don't go
after the petite type, right?

I definitely like
the more curvaceous type.

That's not a problem,
you know what I'm saying?

That's just based on--

I was in the South...
[laughs] For 10 years.

You know what I'm saying?
So you get what I'm saying?

[laughs]
You get what I'm saying?

- I will come put these guys
in their place

if I need to in a heartbeat.

- Looks like somebody is
getting time over there.

I'm trying to read
her body language too.

- I am so close with
all of my siblings,

but especially my brother.

I am the baby, so he's
two years older than me.

- Yeah. Yeah.

- Nehemiah is his name.

But he's my best friend,
and I don't know

where I would be without him.

Family bond is incredible.

- Yeah.
- Yeah.

- It's very important.

- So I hopefully can't wait--

- I saw your family,
honestly, on TV.

- I was gonna say.
Like, I'm sure you...

- They looked so cute together.
- Got a glimpse, yes.

- And I also saw how much
your brother cared for you.

- Oh, my God, yeah.

- And like,
I saw that in myself.

Because even though my sister
is six years older...

- Yeah.
- Like, I'm very protective

of her, and she's protective
of me, you know?

- Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
- And like, if things progress,

you're gonna have to go
through her.

- Absolutely.
- And I know

I have to go with your brother.
- Yeah, we both--yeah.

- But I wouldn't have it
any other way.

- Yeah, absolutely.

- Because I value
her opinion the most.

- Mm-hmm.
- She isn't...

blinded by love
like I might be.

- Yeah.
- And in the past,

that's happened, and...
- Mm-hmm.

- She's the only one who's,
like, talked sense into me.

- I love that.

That is actually
so similar to me,

and I love that
we kind of share that.

So I see a lot of good in you.

- Yeah, I really appreciate it.

- You have, like,
the best energy.

- Thank you.

- So calming.

And I have had the best,
best time.

- Thank you.
- Yeah.

[romantic music]

Like, that's the definition
of a spark to me.

I literally am
buzzing right now.

I don't think--
I actually don't think

that could have gone better.

I'm just gonna pretend like

that wasn't one of the best
moments of my life.

[laughing]

It's gonna be really
freaking hard to do,

but like,
everything was perfect.

And I think I made a really
good first impression.

- Gentlemen, how are we doing?
- Jesse.

- Hey!
- Good.

Have a little something
for Charity right here.

Hope you all enjoy
the rest of your evening.

See you, fellas.
- See you.

- Okay, [bleep] just got real.

[laughs] First impression.

- We all want this.

That's a big deal right
there, though, man.

- Yeah.

- That's that validation
I think we're all looking for.

- That rose puts
a fire on my ass

to, like, go see her
and talk to her.

- I think you're definitely
not getting

the First Impression Rose
if you don't get time with her.

- I'm watching
these guys squirm

because they're realizing
that time is ticking.

And there's only so many
minutes tonight

where one can go up to Charity.

- Hey.

- Hi.

- Hey.
- What's happening? Hi.

- I have something to show you.
- Show me.

- Now the pressure's really on.
- Yeah. [laughs]

- Y'all ain't gonna hype me up?
- Let's go!

[cheers and applause]
- Let's go, baby!

- I am so scared right now.

Oh, [bleep].

- There we go.
- Oh, my God.

- It is a full display
of mating season

here on Animal Planet.

[quirky music]

- Too easy.

That was good.

- The male suitors are
doing their best

to woo the only female
in the home.

all: Oh!

[applause]

- That was intense.

- You're seeing every man
in heat, twisting their wings,

showing off their testosterone.

- Oh, no.

Here we go.

[laughter, cheers]

- In hopes to woo the woman.

- All right.
- Ready?

- Yep.
- You count.

- 1, 2, 3.

Oh, God.

Oh, ahh!

Oh, that was easy.

Whoo!

- But I pulled out a dope-ass
first little date.

So I feel like I'm winning.

- And where's Charity at, man?

- Yeah, where is she?

- I'm getting a little antsy.

- [laughs]

I feel more anxious
than I thought I would.

I think the stakes are higher
for me because I have a son.

I haven't told her yet.

That could potentially be
a deal breaker for Charity.

I'll find out, I guess.

- How are you?
- I'm doing good.

- Good.

- I'm probably a little warmer
than you are.

- Yeah, you can
hold my hand is it.

- Is that okay?

- You can absolutely
hold my hand.

- Maybe help warm you up
a little bit.

- Please, a little.

[both laughing]

- But you're hanging in?

- I'm hanging in.

And it's been
a good night so far.

- Weh...

you're in health care?

- Yeah.

I'm a child
and family therapist.

- Rewarding?

- So rewarding.

Oh, my God.

I cannot see myself
doing anything else.

- I--

- Mm-hmm.

- I--I know exactly
what you mean.

- Yeah.

- I'm in health care as well.

But kind of the other side.

- Yeah.

- I'm a medical device...

- Okay, so do we love that?
- Sales director.

- Oh, do we love that?
- I love it.

- Okay. Good.
- A lot.

- That's good.
- A lot, a lot!

- That's what matters.
- A lot, a lot, a lot!

- You need to love what you do.

- To see, like, your impact--
like...

- Yes, it's the best feeling.
Mm-hmm.

- You're awesome.

- Oh, thank you.

- I mean, I didn't know
when I was gonna tell you this.

- Okay.

- And this--this could be
a deal breaker.

- Okay.

- So I have a little boy.

I have a son.
- Aw.

You're a dad.

- I'm a dad.

- That's beautiful.

That means you really
sacrificed a lot being here.

- Yeah.
- Yeah.

- Um...

[soft music]

Is it weird that I...

- No.

- I fear so much
to tell you that?

- No. Because I understand it.

It's like--obviously, like,

for some people,
it's a lot to take in.

But like, I think it's
beautiful that you're here,

and you also are a dad,
and you have a son.

Like, that's huge,
and I know, like,

that's a very important
part of your life.

So I need to know that.

And I want to know more.

Yeah, so it's not like--

I'm sure it's, like,
scary for you, but like,

I'm all ears, and I'm open
to, like, hearing about that.

Mm-hmm. [laughs]

- You're awesome!

- Yeah. [laughs]

- Going into that conversation
with Charity,

I was terrified.

Coming out, I could tap dance.

I can't tap dance, but if
I could, I would tap dance.

You're making my absolute year.

- Oh, good.
- Month, decade, everything.

- Yeah. Yeah.

- All the potential pain

that conversation
could have caused, and instead?

Cloud nine.

[laughs]

[piano music playing]

[thunder rumbling]

- Aaron's got a keyboard
set up over there.

- Who?
- He got a keyboard, Aaron.

- Oh, really?

- Yeah, he's sitting there
ready to go.

They got the cameras
next to him over there.

Wanna go check it out?
Let's go check it out.

- Yeah. We--yeah, yeah, yeah.
- What?

This man got a keyboard?

What?
[indistinct murmuring]

What?

[soft music playing]

- Charity,
you're an incredible woman...

- Oh.

This is beautiful.

- Who has gone through
so much for love.

You deserve the world
and so much more.

- Not the--hold on.

- Like warm bubble baths
and foot rubs.

- Mm.

Speaking my language.

[clapping]

That was so good.
Oh, my goodness.

- We'll roll with that.
Warm bubble baths?

I mean, it's cold.

- Warm bubble baths
and foot rubs.

Like, that's what stood out.

- That would be--
- Wait.

That was so beautiful.
- I appreciate it.

- I did not know you knew
how to play the piano.

- Well, I play by ear,
so it's definitely--

- Really?
Did you train yourself?

- Just for you.
That was it.

- Oh, great.
- Literally.

I mean, I don't know
if you noticed,

but like, how the song started
high and it just got deep?

- Yeah.

- That's kind of how
I want to go with you.

- Oh.
- You know?

- I'm excited.
- Um...

my parents just had their
anniversary last week.

- Oh.
- 32 years.

- Wow. I love that.
- Yeah.

So I mean, that's one thing,

before, you know,
I came and did see you,

they did talk about advice and
what I should be looking for.

- Mm-hmm.
- And definitely said

unconditional love.
- Yeah.

- You know, 'cause
a lot of things do come up.

And you have to be there
with your person.

You have to stay down
in the trenches.

You have to, you know,
communicate.

- Mm-hmm.
Absolutely, all those things.

- Also, you remember
that coin from earlier?

- Oh, where is it?

- So I'm feeling
my luck tonight.

- Okay.

- We're gonna switch it up,
okay?

- All right.

There we go.

- If it's heads, I get a kiss.

- Mhm, yeah.

- If it's tails,
you play the piano.

- Okay.
- Yeah?

- I'm just--

- Oh, you are too good!

All right.

- I guess so.

[romantic music]

- Very good.
- That was nice.

That was nice.

- That was good.

Aaron B, he is a charmer.

- I've been Team Charity,
so definitely want

to explore more with you.
- Absolutely.

- Absolutely.
- I'm so excited.

- I'm excited too.

- That's very good.

- Absolutely.

- He is here for me,

and that makes me feel
really good.

It's honestly a feeling that
I haven't felt in a minute.

And so things just keep
getting better.

- How's the night going
for you guys so far?

- So far so good, man.
- So far so good?

- Yeah.
- Yeah?

- Why do I feel--

I feel like--

I feel like I recognize you.

Do I know you from somewhere?
Like, are you--

- Know me?
- Yeah, you.

- From where?
- I have no idea.

I don't know.

- I am extremely nervous
right now.

This disguise is
semi-ridiculous,

and I'm sure that
at least one of the guys

will recognize me
or know who I am.

But the hope is
that no one will.

- You look so familiar.

- I look familiar?
- I can't peg it.

- Can't peg it?

- Yeah.

Is that a fake mustache?

[thunder rumbling]

- Did you wrestle in college?

- I did in high school.

- Dude, I just swear
I know him.

[quirky music]

- Somehow I've made it
through the whole night.

No one's figured it out,

or at least no one's
called me on it.

- Oh, yeah, dude.
We're doing sh*ts, man.

- I'm back there listening
to these guys...

- Line 'em up, baby.
- Okay.

- Who say they're here
for my sister's heart.

- She looks like
a Disney princess.

- There's an extra layer
of defense here: me.

And if there's any guy that's
here for the wrong reasons

and I even smell just even an
inkling of that, they're out.

Do you think it went
well enough for you

to get a First Impression Rose?

- Who knows, you know?

You can hope.

- Do you guys think
you feel like something

like this is even realistic?

- You come in here
with your doubts for sure.

I was thinking about
pulling out, dude.

- I had a red flag pop up
'cause I was like, okay.

Why are you here?

- You're looking at the face
of San Diego right here.

- This is probably someone

that you need to pay
close attention to

and maybe already consider...
[clicks tongue]

Other than all of that,
I did not hear

anything that made me
second-guess,

at least at this part
of the journey,

them being here.

- Looks like somebody
is getting time over there.

- How are you?
- I'm amazing.

I was stoked when I heard
you were the Bachelorette.

I was like, I saw you
on your Hometowns,

and I heard your story.

And I have a very similar
story to that.

- Mm-hmm.

- A really hard relationship

that, like, you know...

- Mm-hmm.
- Really sucked.

Like, that pain of being
cheated on and stuff like that

and having to open yourself
back up to love again?

It's really scary.
- It is so scary.

- [sighs] Sorry.

- No, you're good!

- I still have that hope,
you know?

- Yeah. I love that.
- I still have that, you know.

Yeah, come on now.

- Hope, me too.
- It's like--it's a hope.

You got to hold on to it,
you know?

- You do, for sure.
- It's like, life tries

to take it away, but you know,
it's there.

- For sure. Yeah.

I do have a question,
since you said

you were so happy
that it was me.

- Yes. Yes.
- What was maybe

a quality that stood out to you
that you were looking for?

- I think it was the empathy.

I think a lot of people
are so concerned

about themselves
that they forget to be

considerate of other people.

- Mm-hmm. Yeah.

- And I know for me, like,
sometimes in a relationship

I could be over-considerate,
like, to the point

where it's like self--
like, like, almost like

hurting myself,
you know what I mean?

- Yeah. Yeah.
- And so it's like,

I know that I need to find

someone that's just as
considerate as that,

because otherwise it's--
- I relate so much to that.

- Otherwise, they just take
and take and take, you know?

And it's like--and I mean,

and it's hard to, like,
speak up.

And it's hard to say, like,
"Hey, I need this," you know?

Because it's like,
you want to be seen.

- And that's the thing
with me too is like--

I mean, you've heard
a little bit of my story

on Zach's season,
but it's like,

that was me in my relationship.

And that's also me as a person.

Like, I always give to others.

And you know, for that--
I know.

- Well, hopefully I can give
a little back to you

this season.
- Hopefully!

- Hopefully.
- But yeah, no.

Like, that's, like, something

that I constantly
overextend myself,

and just learning
to, like, kind of set

those boundaries of how much I
need to give in a relationship

and how much, like, I need to
sit back and also allow myself

to let that happen to me, so...

- Definitely.
Well, you deserve it, though.

- Thank you.

- And I'm really excited to be
able to hang out with you.

- I'm so happy
that you're here.

- Are you?

- Yeah, I really am.

- Thank you.

[sweeping music]

- With Brayden,
we immediately hit it off.

I mean, it was almost
instantaneous.

[laughs] I'm already giddy.

Like, I'm laughing.

That's evidence.

[laughing]

- Oh, my God.

Wowzers!

- Got to wipe the lips.
- Don't.

Leave it on. I'm gonna--

it's my badge of honor.

Come on, now. Dude.

- Oh, my God. Okay.

- Oh, my God.
- Not me.

- Wow. Wow.

That just happened.
- It happened.

- That was so nice.
- It was good.

- You want a little more?

- Mm-hmm.
- Mm.

- Brayden's a good kisser,
a good person...

A good all--
all the way around.

He's good with everything.

Check.

Gets a check.

That's my little check mark.

- Dude, that kiss was amazing.

Like, she's amazing.

Damn.

Her lips felt amazing.

She did a little--
she did a little--

a little lip bite on my lip,
and I was like, ooh.

[laughs]

But I shouldn't kiss and tell,
but whoo!

[laughs] I did kiss her.

She kissed me.

We kissed! Ah!

- Brayden went for a kiss.

Look at that.
- Really?

- Oh, yeah.

He went for it.

[laughs]

Damn.

I wish I wasn't watching,
to be honest.

- So--
- Damn.

Why'd you point it out to me?
- It was right in front of me.

I don't know.

- Brayden's making out
with Charity.

I'm kind of pissed.

It's a [bleep] feeling.

- He's still going?
Oh, he's still going.

- I'm not looking.

- Brayden is one that

I'm watching out for,
for sure.

- You're happy.

What just happened?

- Bro, I got a kiss, bro.
She kissed me.

We kissed.
- Okay, okay.

- Bro, she's so cool.

We had some b*mb conversation.

Like, dude.

- You went back
for a second one.

- You saw that?

- Brayden making out
with Charity,

that's tough because we're
all chasing the same girl.

- Yeah.

- The [bleep] gets real
real quick.

- I heard you got a little--

- A little kiss?
- A little kiss.

- I did get a little kiss.
- Wow.

Bro, it just--it was like
it just happened, bro.

She was there.
It felt organic.

It was awesome.

Like, it was like--
it was a good kiss.

Sorry, I'm, like--

I'm, like, cheesing right now.

I feel so good right now, man.

[blubbering]

I can't even talk, bro.

Oh, my goodness.

- Your tongue wasn't tied
back there, though, was it?

[laughter]
- No, it wasn't.

- Bro, oh, my God.

And I mean,

I think she's such
a good kisser too.

Like, her lips felt so nice.

Like, so freaking nice, dude.

I don't even know what I said.

I said something like, oh,
I definitely need another one.

And then she pulled me back in
for a second kiss.

And I was like, ooh.

- Brayden?
Brayden has a lot of energy.

He's very extroverted.

- Can I just steal away
from the rose?

Has that ever been done before?

- He struck me as confident,

kind of trending
towards arrogant.

- Did you guys kiss her?
Because Brayden did.

- No, I didn't.
- I don't kiss and tell.

- Yeah, no--

- Yeah, we had a good time.
- Good.

- I think that humility
is gonna be key,

especially this early
in the journey

for any of the guys
that my sister talks to.

Are any of y'all feeling
bold enough

that you think you're gonna get
the First Impression Rose?

- I mean, there's a lot
of great guys here, you know?

I don't know
what kind of connection

she has already with,
you know, these men here.

- The connection I felt like
I got, like, you know,

in the moment we shared,
it was like--

coming after that,
it was like--

I was like--you know, I--

I felt like I would.

- Brayden has a huge ego.

I see it in his body language.

I hear it in the way
that he's talking.

- I kissed her,
and I was like, you know,

trying to be like
Humphrey Bogart type, you know?

- Very smooth.
[laughter]

- Don't get too cocky,
'cause it's night one.

- Oh, such a beautiful kiss.

Oh, my goodness.

I'm just ready for that First
Impression Rose, though.

- And it's time to go tell my
sister what's been going on.

She might be really upset.

We're gonna find out.

Gentlemen, can I have your
attention for a second?

How's everybody feeling?
[cheers]

Good?
Awesome.

Good, good, good.

Well, I've been serving
you guys drinks all night

and listening
to your conversations.

And I think there's something
that you really need to know.

Okay.

You guys know me as Charles,
serving drinks.

[laughter]

- No way!

- It's a fake mustache.

- I am Nehemiah,
Charity's older brother.

- Oh, I knew I recognized you!

- What?

- I recognized that guy.

[laughter, applause]

- Bro!

- Shocker.

Whoa.
- Dude.

- No wonder this bartender
was asking me

so many questions,
about his sister!

Gosh, dang it.

- It means the world
that I could

be here for my little sister.

We are very, very close.

I've heard some good things
from you guys tonight.

And I've heard
some other things that

I'm a little
questionable about.

Okay.

So with that being said,
I'm gonna talk

with my sister
for a little bit.

Best of luck to you guys, okay?

[dramatic music]

- I was wondering why--

- I'm like, what did I say?

Oh, I didn't say anything bad.

- [bleep]!

- If you showed your colors,
you're in a world of hurt.

You might be going home.

- They were definitely
looking out for red flags.

- Some of the conversations
with the bartender

might have made some people
a little nervous.

Specifically Brayden,
I'm like, good job.

You got a kiss
but told everyone,

including her brother.

So see you, dude.

- Charity, can I steal you
for a second?

- Oh, my God. Absolutely.

- Hey, did anybody know that
that could have been

somebody other than
just a bartender?

- I was taken aback
by his questions, for sure.

- It just blew my mind.

- Is anyone nervous that they
might have said something?

- That's what I want to know.

- I feel like he definitely
heard a lot of great things,

'cause there's a lot
of great people in here.

But he said it.

He heard some things
he didn't really like.

- Yeah.
[laughter]

- Seeing their relationship,
I feel like

that First Impression Rose
could 100%

be from what he says.

Everybody in this room
is shocked.

The bartender's Nehemiah,
Charity's brother.

And right now,
he's talking to Charity.

- Dude, the suspense, man.

- I think there are
some people that are

maybe shivering in their boots
a little bit.

- I don't remember what I said.

I remember I was coming
over there on cloud nine.

- Brayden was definitely
mouthing off at the bar.

- It made my heart drop
for a second

'cause I was like, I don't
think I said anything dumb.

- He was feeling cocky,
really putting their time

out there in the public,

which doesn't really
make it special.

So I wonder what
Nehemiah thinks.

- The night been going well?
- It's been going pretty good.

- Yeah?

Don't k*ll me.

- More surprises?
- This is--yeah.

Uh, I had this idea,
'cause I love you so much

and I don't ever want
to see you in a situation

like you've had in the past.

I had this idea
to disguise myself

as a bartender...
- Please.

[both laughing]

- And listen to conversations

of pretty much all these guys.

Had a whole disguise
and everything.

- Oh, great.

- So I just had to be here
as an extra layer

of protection, just in case.
- Mm-hmm.

- I heard something suspicious.

Uh, have you done
the First Impression Rose yet?

- I have not.

- Do you know possibly
who you're gonna give it to?

- [sighs] I think so.

- You think so?

- I think
there's a reason why

that hasn't gotten put on
anyone yet until he did that.

So I have a feeling
that is going to make

a huge impression on her.

- I have a big sister,
and like,

if I was in his shoes

and I'm watching all of us,

I'm like, all right,
this is truly

who these guys are
when my sister is not around.

- I've heard good things
and some interesting things.

- Interesting things?

- Yeah, interesting things.

Everything from beautiful,
gorgeous,

real life Disney princess.

- Aww.

- I was very
pleasantly surprised

by Aaron B.

It seemed like
he was coming from a very

authentic, genuine place.
- Yeah.

- Somebody else that had
a conversation with you...

- Uh-huh.

- That was skeptical
of the process, Aaron S.

- Uh-huh. As they should be.
I mean, hell, I was.

- But I get that
if you haven't been

through something like this
before...

- Yeah.
- So, like, I understand that.

- Yeah.

- We just got duped
by her brother, you know?

I honestly don't remember
what I said.

- I totally hope that he's okay
with a total dork

like me being interested
in his sister, to be honest.

I was over there giddy
like a freaking schoolgirl.

So hopefully
he's okay with that.

- Let's talk about Brayden.

So I talked with him
before he had

his one-on-one
conversation with you.

He was very hopeful
for the night.

He's very energetic,
very extroverted.

- Yeah, he is. Very.

- And to see him come back
in even more energy,

boldly crossing that line
from confidence

to arrogance and cockiness,

that's problematic.
- Yeah.

- He seemed even so emboldened
to be like,

he might get a rose.

- Okay.

We'll see.

- Only you know.

- Only I know.

- Only you know
the answer to that.

- Yeah, okay.
- Now, I realize

that you are more than
capable of making

your own choices and decisions.

And I trust you.
- Yeah.

- Any time you feel like
things are funny

or people are here
for the wrong reasons

or you get a whiff
of something that's not right--

- Listen.
I'll carry the luggage out.

- Yeah.

- Hearing what I heard
from my brother,

like, it honestly made my--
the hairs on my arm stand up.

- It's gonna be okay.
- Yeah, I know.

That's okay.
- It's night one.

- I know.

So I want to sit down
and find out what's happening.

Hello.

Hi.

So I don't know
if you guys know,

but my brother was indeed
here tonight.

And I had no idea that he was
gonna be the bartender.

But I actually got
a chance to talk to him,

and he told me some things
that were wonderful

but also some things that
were interesting to hear.

So, Brayden,

can you come with me?

[tense music]

- How's it going?

- It's going.

- Uh-oh.

- It's going.

- Sheesh!

- Oh, that's gotta be your
worst nightmare right there.

- Bro, the last thing
you want is your name

called out at that point.

- And there's no doubt that
that came

from Nehemiah, right?

And she trusts him
wholeheartedly.

If I were in Brayden's shoes,
I'd be worried.

- Okay.

So--yeah,
so my brother was here.

- Yes.

- And I got to chat with him.

And he basically said
that you were overconfident

about being here

and about getting
the First Impression Rose.

So you can kind of tell me.

- Yeah, no.

I mean, I honestly felt like

we had a really good
connection.

- Mm-hmm.
- And I mean,

I wasn't trying to be cocky.
- Yeah.

- But the kiss that we had
was really amazing.

- Mm-hmm. Yeah.
- And it was like,

if I was in your shoes
and I had that connection,

like, I would've given you,
like, my First Impression Rose.

- Mm-hmm.
- And so it was just like,

the feeling that I had,
I was like, you know--

I don't know,
I was just like, I was giddy.

I was like, I thought it was--
- Yeah.

- I thought it went great.
I thought it went amazing.

And that's--that's kind of
where I was at.

It wasn't like--
- Yeah.

- I wasn't really in a place
of trying to brag

or in a place of like--
- Yeah.

- You know, but I mean--

- Okay. Um...

thank you for explaining that.

Um...
- Yeah.

- If you could just
give me a moment,

I'm gonna take a breather.

- Yeah, no. Totally.

- Yeah, you can stay put.

You can stay put.

[sighing] Okay.

- You never want to come off
like a cocky [bleep].

I was just excited.

And it was like, you know,
in the moment,

it was like, you know,
you're talking to a bartender

just about how you're stoked
and you're excited.

And I didn't know
it was her brother.

And so, I mean,
I'm definitely nervous.

- Based on her tone
and the way that she came out,

I'm kind of nervous for him.

- I think all of us
start to think,

it's been long enough that
the words have been said,

and he got caught.

Yeah, he's gone.

He's done.

- [sighs]

[thunder rumbling]

[tense music]

- As soon as Nehemiah
revealed himself,

Brayden was a little nervous.

Like, right away.

I was like, you're okay, bro.

Everything will be fine.

But no. [laughs]

- When Charity grabbed
Brayden, man,

I did not want to be
in his shoes.

Obviously if he said
some bad things,

then he deserves to go home.

But, man, to be taken away
from the group

without the rose,
and you just assume

that conversation is gonna end
with him going home.

- [sighs]

I just feel like [bleep]
right know.

Like, I never want to make
someone feel like

I think they're easy.

My intention is never
to make anyone feel bad.

Like, that's not me, you know?

Like, my intention is never
to hurt anybody,

but you know, whatever
impression I gave her brother

made her, you know,
feel sad enough

to, like, have to take--
take a moment away.

So yeah, I don't know.

A whole bunch of I don't know.

[inhales, exhales sharply]

- How are you?

- Sorry.

- No, you're good.

All right.

So I had a lot of time
to think.

Um...

the First Impression Rose
for me

is something that
I don't take lightly.

And so for you to share that
with my brother

about how strongly you feel
about our connection,

for me, um...

Yeah, it--it meant a lot.

So you have every single right
to feel that because--

[laughter]

- [bleep].
- I'm sorry.

- Oh, my God. I was like--

- No, deep breaths.

Um...yeah, um, you--

you have truly been
a breath of fresh air for me.

And I feel the exact same way.

[laughs]

So, Brayden,

will you accept
the First Impression Rose?

- I would absolutely love
to accept.

- Perfect. Okay.

I give Brayden
the First Impression Rose

because I'm feeling
super happy about him.

Oh, God.

- Oh, my God.

- My brother's intel was
extremely insightful.

Breathe, breathe.

[light music]

- Oh, my God.

- And Brayden has every right
to feel confident,

because I want someone
who's here for me,

someone who is excited
about me,

and someone who doesn't have
a problem of making that known.

I feel so bad.
I feel so bad.

You don't understand.

- I was so confused.

- I love seeing you squirm.

- Oh, my God.

Charity is making it harder
on me over here.

Come on, you know?

Give a guy a break.

But you know,
to be able to say that I got

the First Impression Rose
and I stuck out to her,

that's what's got me giddy.

- All right. Let's head on out.
- Let's do this.

I hope I get all
the First Impression Roses

of every single week.

It just has me excited
for this whole experience.

Like, I'm like, you know,
this could work.

Oh, my gosh. You scared me.

- We gotta be good. Okay.

[tense music]

- Hello.
I'm gonna squeeze in here.

- Uh-oh. Uh-oh.

He got the rose, huh?

- Come and sit.

- Sure.

- Come hither. [laughs]

All right. Okay.

Yes, Brayden...[laughs]
Got the First Impression Rose.

It's obvious.

- You know, when he came back
with the First Impression Rose

on his lapel,
set me off a little bit,

which is something
I didn't anticipate.

I really felt like that First
Impression Rose was mine.

You know, Brayden, you know,

he's definitely
competition for me.

And I mean,
it's gonna be a w*r.

[clinking glass]

- Gentlemen,
I'm sorry to interrupt,

but the cocktail party
has now come to an end.

Brayden, congratulations.

Now, if you'll excuse us,
we do now have to get ready

for the Rose Ceremony.

Gentlemen, thank you.
We'll see you soon.

[dramatic music]

- Going into
the Rose Ceremony,

I'm really hoping that
she decides to keep me here.

- Good luck, everyone.

- I wasn't able to get time
with Charity.

So I genuinely feel like
I'm going home.

I truly believe that
I could be the person

that she's looking for,

but there's no way for her
to feel that

without actually
speaking to me.

[birds chirping]

[tense music]

- Hello.

all: Hi.

- Hi. [laughs]

I just want to start off
by saying,

thank you guys
for such an incredible night.

It truly has blown me away.

And...ooh,

we're starting off already

making some very difficult
decisions,

but I truly am just following
my gut and my heart.

And I hope you guys
can respect that.

Okay.

[dramatic music]

- It's a pretty heavy feeling,

being in this setting,

in this room
with all these guys.

It's unnerving.

I've just barely begun, and I
could already be going home.

- Aaron B.

- Excuse me.

- Aaron, will you accept
this rose?

- Absolutely.

- Thank you.
- Thank you.

- John.

John, will you accept
this rose?

- Always.

Thank you.

- I'll be honest. I'm nervous.

I really want a rose.

I mean, this woman's
unbelievably beautiful.

Why would I not want her
to give me a rose?

Why would I not want another
chance to get closer to her

and stare in her eyes?

- Xavier.

Xavier, will you accept
this rose?

- Of course.

- So if I don't get a rose
tonight,

I'll be crushed,

'cause I genuinely felt
a connection.

I genuinely felt
chemistry with Charity.

- Joey.

Joey, will you accept
this rose?

- Absolutely.

- Caleb B.

- I don't want to go home.
I want more time with her.

I want a rose.

- Caleb, would you accept
this rose?

- Yes, I sure will.
- Perfect.

- I mean, we didn't even start
the relationship yet

at this point.

So I'm just looking
for a--for a start.

- Warwick.

Warwick, will you accept
this rose?

- Yes.

- I think there's so much more
to me than a big check

and saying I'm donating
my heart to Charity.

- Aaron S.

- Oh. Aaron S.

- But I haven't had the chance
to really speak to her.

So I am trying to speak it
into existence,

saying to myself,

"I will get a rose,
I will get a rose."

- Caleb A.

- It's really tough.

I've never had this little
control of something

in my life where right now,

my relationship with Charity
is completely in her hands.

- Adrian.

Adrian, will you accept
this rose?

- Of course.

- Charity is looking at me
every now and then

as she gives out these roses.

- James.

- But they're never
coming to me.

- Sean.

- And I kind of hate being
in this position.

- Michael, will you accept
this rose?

- I will.

- Because I feel like
I came here

because I was called here
for a reason

to get to know Charity.

- Tanner, will you accept
this rose?

- Of course.

- But there's a big knot
in my stomach

because without having
talked to Charity,

there's a real good chance
that I'm going home right now.

- Dotun.

Dotun, will you accept
this rose?

- I definitely will.

You almost k*lled me there.

- [laughs] Don't.

- Charity's understanding
of the fact that I have a son

speaks so much
about Charity's character.

- Kaleb K.

- So if Charity gives me
a rose tonight,

I will feel
so greatly encouraged

about the future with her.

- John Henry.

- I feel like I did
the right thing to earn it,

tell her the truth, to be open.

- Josh.

- I'll feel more validated
as a good guy.

- Josh, will you accept
this rose?

- I will. Thanks.

- I struggle with being,
like, validating to myself

that I'm a good father,
you know?

So I'm really hoping that
she decides to keep me around.

- Gentlemen, Charity,
it's the final rose tonight.

When you're ready.

[dramatic music]

- Spencer.

Spencer, will you accept
this rose?

- Proudly.

- Perfect.
- Thank you.

- Gentlemen, I'm sorry,

but if you did not receive
a rose,

please take a moment
and say your goodbyes.

[somber music]

- Thank you so much.
- Thank you.

Thank you so much for being
here and taking the time.

- Good luck, okay?

- Thank you.

I hate this.

This is hard.

It's hard sending people home,
and I will always carry that.

But I want to stay true
to the fact

that I am following my heart,
trusting my gut.

- Thanks so much, Charity.

- Thank you.

The end goal in all of this
is to find my person.

Thank you so much
for being here.

[muffled speech]
- Thank you. Same.

- It's to find someone
who I know is gonna be

the best fit for me.

I am so incredibly grateful
for all of you all

that are standing here with me.

I feel confident
in that my husband

is inside of that room.

Cheers.
all: Cheers.

- Clink, clink, clink.

- And I feel really good
about what's to come.

[dramatic music]

- Stay tuned
for a sneak peek...

At Charity's journey
to find love.

- [laughs]

Whoo!

[dramatic music]

- This season on
"The Bachelorette"...

- Whoo!

[screaming]

- Join Charity on a romantic
fairy tale for the ages.

- I'm here to find a husband,

someone who's truly
gonna show up,

love me, and be there for me.

I've never had that.

all: Charity!

- Charity is
the whole package.

- Such an empathetic,
passionate woman.

both: Best day ever!

- Every time she walks into
a room, she is captivating.

[cork pops]
both: Whoo!

- It is fun to be
around this girl.

both: Whoo!

- Whoo!

- Bring on my man!

- Yeah! Bring on the men!

- Bring on my man!

I have such a great group
of guys.

all: Oh!

- They all bring something
different to the table.

I see myself
with each of them.

- Oh, my God.
This is nuts.

- I definitely am
crushing on you.

- Crushing?
- I am.

Ooh. [laughs]
- I--hey.

- With past relationships,

I have sacrificed
my own happiness.

But not anymore.

[cheers and applause]

- Before I met you,
it never felt like

fairy tales were meant for me.

But here I am.

- Tanner,
every time I'm with you,

I am on cloud nine.

[train horn blaring]

- Honestly,
I'm falling in love with you.

- Same here.

Joey, you're someone that
really makes me feel so seen.

- I would be crazy
not to tell you

that I am falling in love
with you.

- Everything that I've prayed
for is right in front of me.

I am falling in love.

But it's with
more than one person.

I just, like, don't know
what I'm gonna do.

[crying]

Oh, my God.

I'm, like, losing my mind.

This is not what this
is supposed to be.

- We all really, really,
really want Charity.

I can't tell you
how tough it is

watching people go on dates.

- Human nature,
there is jealousy.

- We all had to sit there
and just watch them kiss.

- The beehive just exploded.

- Adrian, did you bring
my name up?

- I'm gonna speak the truth.

- Your truth.
- No, the truth.

- That's my time.

- That's just fake [bleep].

- I've never been
so disrespected in my life.

I don't feel bad at all
about taking Charity first.

- I know you don't feel bad.

- Sean is getting too cocky.

You're at a point
where you're pissing me off.

Your rose is on the chest,

but who's to say
I can't clip that [bleep] off?

all: Oh!

- Brayden's toxic.

He's playing her
like a puppet.

Brayden's getting time
with you.

He's not ready
for an engagement.

- Aaron, you did me dirty

because you felt threatened
by me.

My relationship with her
has nothing to do with you.

- You are not a man, Brayden.

You're not a man.

[bleep] worm, bro.
[bleep] gnat.

- Bro, I'm not a man?
I'll [bleep] you up, bro.

- Are you kidding?

Like, we are a week away
from you being on one knee,

and you don't even know
what you want.

[sobbing]

I'm...[claps] Heartbroken.

[crying]
Just like I expected.

It's not fair.

This is not right.

Like, this isn't even right.

This whole journey has been
extremely hard,

but I am madly in love.

It's terrifying,
because I'm, like, so fearful

of sending my person home.

You are not supposed
to say goodbye

to somebody that you love.

[crying]

Oh, my God.

- So imagine me...

- This is it.

- With--this is--
- [laughs]

Put it on right now.

[quirky music]

You look like Steve Harvey.

[both laughing]

You look like Steve Harvey.

- You look like Steve Harvey.

Go tell some jokes.

It's very much
a Steve Harvey mustache.

- Why are we doing this?

Let's go down a little bit.
- I tried to--

- It's okay. There we go.

- There's still residual glue
on my lip.

- Yeah, let's put this on.

- And then there's--yeah,

put it on here.

- I don't know where this goes.

- This was on my head, so...

Like this.

- I'm surprised it fit.

I'm kidding.
That's me being mean.

- What you say?
- I'm surprised it fits.

- Me too.

Yeah, I'm surprised too.

- Noggin.
- No, it was cutting off--

it was cutting off
my circulation.

- [laughs]

- That was it.

Oh, not the jacket.
I just had the shirt.

- I would have been
at that bar all night

questioning the hell
out of you.

Like--like--
[both laughing]

- I think--I think ladies are
a little bit more...

- For sure. For sure.

- Intuitive than men are
at times.

- This is great.
This is a look.

- Except it wasn't falling off.
It was glued.

- So glad this is gonna be
documented forever.

[both laughing]
