36x08 - That's What Being Strong Will Do

Post by bunniefuu »

Previously on the amazing race...

Seven teams raced to
Montevideo, Uruguay.

No.

Vinny shined at the roadblock.

Let's go!

But later, sparks flew

between him and girlfriend Amber.

You're making this so hard.
I'm starting to get frustrated.

And you're not trying to be any better.

Stop talking to me like that.

The need for navigation
helped Angie and Danny...

We just passed them,
and so, directionally,

and hurt sunny and bizzy.

I don't see any other teams around.

I don't even see anything
that looks like a Plaza.

A stellar detour performance

put boyfriends Ricky
and Cesar back on top.

You are team number one.

Pilots Juan and Shane stumbled.

God, man, we just ate ten, 15 minutes.

But in the end, firefighters

sunny and bizzy flamed out.

Unfortunately, you have
been eliminated from the race.

That's okay, Phil.

All teams are making their way

to Bridgetown, Barbados.

This is Barbados... 21
miles long, 14 miles wide,

and home to more than 270,000 bajans.

Bridgetown is the capital
city, and interestingly,

there are only two Bridges in town.

This is the most popular... swing bridge.

After finishing in the top
two spots on the last leg,

Angie and Danny and
Ricky and Cesar will be

the first to depart.

- Route info.
- "Welcome to Barbados."

"Drive to the neighborhood
of Fairfield, black rock

to find your next clue."

- There they go.
- Bye, guys.

- Good luck!
- Have fun.

Go get 'em!

- "You'll be self-driving.
- To get to the location,

drive to the corner of
Parkinson and Fairfield road."

We got this.

There's a map. There's
a map. There's a map.

Okay, here we go.

So, this is black rock and Fairfield,

so we need to go over
there. Got it. Let's go.

- Did y'all get it?
- Do y'all know?

- Yeah, we know. Do you got it?
- No, can you help us real quick?

It's just right here. Black
rock and-and Fairfield.

- Okay, where is the...
- Somewhere around here.

- I don't know exactly.
- All right. Thank you.

- See you over there.
- Yeah.

- Okay, so, stay straight for now.
- Okay.

Today we're leaving

in the first group with Danny and Angie.

Of course, it's getting a
little more and more pressure

now that there's only six teams.

But we just keep taking
that advantage of time

over the other teams and using it wisely.

We have strengthened our
relationship through the race.

We want to have children.

We want to get married at some point.

Winning a million dollars would help us

to put that in practice.

All right, left side, so you're gonna go

straight.

I mean, I don't see Danny and Angie.

And Danny's really good with directions,

so I'm hoping that he... he'll catch up.

- I lost them already.
- They're in front of us.

- Do you see 'em?
- Yup.

Right now, we're just following the boys.

If they turn right...

Honey, I don't want to
just follow somebody.

They're turning right. Turn right. Yup.

But, honey, do you
know where you're going?

Yup.

Navigation's our strength,

and with the unique
driving today, he's gonna

have to be on his a game,
because I'm gonna be worried

about driving on the
right side of the road.

- So...
- Well, the left side of the road.

The left side of the road.

I don't like following somebody.

I know. I hate following people,

but they have a good
idea where they're going.

- I'm a little lost. Okay, so...
- Okay. Let's look at this.

It's a gas station. Gas station.

- Just stop at the gas station.
- Okay.

- There's a good turn up here.
- Nope. Just, I don't want

- to lose them 'cause I don't...
- They're turning, too.

All right. Yup. Okay.

We might need to put
the covers on our backs.

- All right.
- Okay.

- We're looking for...
- We're looking for Fairfield.

- Fairfield?
- Yeah, Fairfield street

- and Parkinson.
- And Parkinson.

- We don't know where we are.
- Get out there.

Could you help us to show
us where we are on the map?

So, here, we need to go here.

- Black rock and Fairfield.
- Should we go with this?

- I think-i think so.
- Yeah? Okay.

All right, you guys got it?

- Yeah. Here.
- Yeah, I think so.

The driving is not fun right
now because it's pouring rain.

At first it was, like, kind of drizzling.

But by the time that we're done

with the directions, it starts pouring.

Downpouring, like, a monsoon.

I mean, the island weather

you never know what to expect.

We have the cover.

- Like, you want to put it up?
- I mean,

it's gonna take two minutes.

- You fine with that? Okay.
- Yeah, let's do it.

- Yeah, all right, stop.
- Okay.

Park.

You got to get the front clip.

No, mom, it's the other way.

This goes front.

- Okay, leave these. Leave these.
- Let's go. Let's go.

Well, we said we
wanted to get wet today.

We got wet.

All right.

That was a lot of fun.

Welcome to Barbados!

"Welcome to Barbados.
Drive to the neighborhood of."

"Fairfield, black rock
to find your next clue."

Let's go. What is it
called we going, baby?

- We're going to... - Black rock.
- Is there a map?

Yup. Aw, damn.

It's friggin' wet.

My gosh. It's drenched.

Man. I have no idea where we are.

My god, this whole thing is soaked.

- This is crazy.
- We out here in the rain.

We got to ask for directions, babe.

I have no idea where we are.

So I think we should get out of here.

I'm learning a lot about myself

through this journey, and
I'm learning a lot about him.

Just combining our two different worlds

has been the biggest
challenge in our relationship.

I kind of want to go this way

'cause I feel like it's this way.

Why do you... Why do you feel that way?

'Cause that's where
the majority of things are.

One thing in our relationship

that we've always struggled with was

how to work together,
because, alone, we do really well.

We have a singular mind,
we have a singular goal,

and, so, as long as we're
focused on that goal together,

we're destined to win.

I think black rock is this way.

Babe, I don't need you to think, okay?

Baby, let's find us
somewhere we can pull in

and, go ask some directions.

To go on the journey with my wife,

knowing how much she's not
used to this type of environment,

for her even to take this journey on

and to do as well as she's been doing

man, I give all the praise to her.

She's doing awesome,
she's a great teammate-wife.

I've realized, in competition,

every day, it's a new
play, it's a new game.

You don't have time to
worry about the last play.

The new play has already started, so...

That's what I'm talking about.

So, we gonna take
this back home with us?

- I think so.
- Yeah!

That's what I'm talking about.

- I'm gonna pull in right here.
- Yeah, that's it.

Okay, let's go inside somewhere.

Go across the street right there.

- Excuse me.
- Excuse me. Can y'all help me

with directions, please?

Can you help us with directions?

- Can we come in?
- Yeah, yeah, come in.

Where is Fairfield, black rock?

Okay. You have to... you're
going this direction, right?

- That's over here.
- Yup. I got to go around?

- Yeah.
- You want me to turn right?

You're gonna turn left,
then you turn right here.

- Right here.
- Right here, yes.

- But black rock and Fairfield is that way?
- This way...

Go straight and then
turn right all the way down.

- Just keep straight.
- Just turn right.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you.

Which way does this stupid thing go?

No, it's the other way.

My god. I can't get that one.

I got it, I got it.

Go.

"Welcome to Barbados.
Drive to the neighborhood

of Fairfield and black
rock to find your next clue."

Over here, over here. Want to ask?

Let's go, buddy. Let's do it.

- Hi. Can we ask you a question?
- What-what...

How far is the neighborhood

- of Fairfield, black rock?
- Fairfield, black rock?

Keep that... Keep that dry, keep that dry.

- Straight down...
- Straight down, and...

- And that... That's just a street?
- Yes.

All right, bro.

Okay, they're getting in
the Van? All right, let's go.

It's been a long time
since the race started.

You would think that some
people get on each other's nerves.

Shane and I have been really, really tight

since the beginning,
we're even tighter now.

Obviously, we miss our wives,
I miss my beautiful baby, but

there's no way we left
home this long for nothing.

There's only six teams
left. All the teams are gonna

be good at nav, all the
teams are gonna be good

at the basic stuff, so, we
really go to step up our game.

- Left.
- I just got soaking wet.

- We're down here.
- We're south.

What is this big thing called?

- This big tower thing right here?
- So we got to go, yeah.

- Parliament building.
- Yeah, the parliament building.

- Okay. Thank you so much.
- Thank you.

- Careful running.
- Yeah.

So, we've been dating
for three years, and

we do not currently live together.

I'm ready to move in tomorrow.

But, you know, she
wants to take it slowly.

I actually fully respect that.

Babe, look up. Where am I going?

- Straight.
- Straight, right?

One of the reasons we
wanted to come on was

just that pressure cooker,
it's taking it to another level

and really seeing how we
will work together, and so far,

we feel good. We feel good
with each other and everything.

Just nice to see how we've
been surprising each other.

That's really hard to see.

Do you know where we are?

I have no idea, so if
we can stop somewhere.

- It's right here on the right.
- Okay.

Where those people are.

- So, turn into this?
- Yeah.

- You good? Okay.
- Yup.

Excuse me. I'm trying to get to the corner

of Fairfield and Parkinson.

- This is black rock?
- Yeah, you're here at black rock here.

Could you show me on Google maps?

Could I see the directions?

Fairfield road... Is right here.

- Thank you.
- Thank you so much.

Okay.

Sorry. The rain really...

It's okay, we just have to slow down.

I know.

- Fairfield shop?
- Is this Fairfield shop?

- It's... That clue's right there.
- Where?

Right there, straight ahead,

but we need to find the
parking. Parking right there.

- Do you have the keys?
- Yup.

Roadblock.

"Who wants to get into
the swing of things?"

While pickleball is
exploding around the world,

bajans were 30 years
ahead of the game,

coming up with their own
innovative racket sport

road tennis... which plays by
the same rules as ping-pong,

except they use these larger
wooden paddles, rubber balls,

the court is twice as big,

and they play the game on the streets.

This roadblock requires
one team member

to rally against a talented local.

If they can score 11 points
against one of these hot sh*ts,

they'll be served with a clue.

Me. I'm gonna get
into the swing of things.

You.

- Okay. Come on, come on.
- Okay.

All right. Who wants to play?

You all look really good.

All right, let's play. Yeah?

The roadblock was road tennis.

- Go, Ricky. I love you.
- Love you.

It's like a miniature

tennis, pickleball, combined
with racquetball and ping-pong.

Thankfully, we're the first ones here,

but I know Ricky's a little
more sportsy than me.

And, hopefully, he will
get it right, fast enough.

I mean, again, I don't want this bench

to be full with the other five teams.

I'm gonna serve first.

So I serve down and then over.

The idea is to have it bounce on yours,

and then to your opponent.

And if they either get two
bounces, you get a point.

If it hits the net and stays
on their side, you get a point.

My point. One.

If they hit it out of your
side, you get a point.

I needed to get to 11,

and I think once we
volleyed back and forth

a couple of times, I was
kind of getting a hang of it.

My point?

Seems like tennis, pretty
much. There's no net,

but there's this white board
that divides the section.

He doesn't like when I cheer too much,

so I'm just gonna zip it up.

Just keep going, keep going, keep going.

He seems to be getting it, thank god.

My god.

It's gonna be a lot of running

to get those loose balls.

- So I have three?
- Good job.

All right, we're gonna
turn here, go this way.

And then go left, right?

And then, no, we're
gonna take one more right.

That's where we just came from.

- Isn't it?
- No, no.

Is it?

We're headed back to where we started.

- So we obviously took a wrong turn.
- Yeah.

I've never, drove through a flood before.

My wife driving straight
through a flood. My map is done.

Man, this is crazy, man.

But we're gonna figure this
out. We got no other choice.

It's a real struggle right now.

It is probably... Map is soaking wet.

It looks like the road is closed ahead.

The road is closed.
They got it blocked off.

But that might be where we have to go.

Is that where the shop's at?

The Fairfield shop?

Keep straight. Talk to him!

- Keep straight.
- Thank you.

- Go ahead.
- Stop yelling at me.

But I'm saying you got
to talk to people, baby.

- Well, I'm trying to drive!
- I know, but I need you...

Stop yelling at me!

Look, there's nobody here
that I can actually lay down.

There were two strategic
things I was trying to do.

One was trying to hit at sharper angles

so he had further to travel.

And the other one
was trying to hit the ball

just over the net,

so that way, it's closer to the ground

and easier to get a second bounce.

But they're getting closer to the 11.

Out.

I'm hoping to not see any other teams.

Okay, Ricky, come on. You can do it.

He's one point away.

I got 11 points.

- Did you get it? My god.
- Yeah.

Good work.

There's the clue box. Thank the lord.

- Okay, let's go.
- All right, let's go.

- Here we go. Good job. Great job.
- Yeah.

Route info.

"Drive to the childhood home of Rihanna

to find your next clue."

Let's go. Come on, come on,
come on, come on. Come on.

Roadblock.

- I'll do it.
- All right, mom's gonna do it.

"Play road tennis
against a local...". "...And"

"score 11 points to earn your clue."

- Okay. All right.
- Miss tennis player, let's go.

I was super excited 'cause

when I first started
teaching, I-I coached tennis.

- Okay.
- I am smiling

ear-to-ear because my mom
played tennis all in high school,

mom coached tennis growing up,

mom put us in tennis lessons.

So to have a tennis challenge right now?

I'm over the moon.

I'm getting ready to
play a little street tennis,

it sounds like.

Be nice to my mom.

You got it, mom.

- Go, mom. Let's go, mom!
- Okay.

- Come on. You got this, mom.
- All right.

I'm warming it up.

Mom, you're doing so good.

Let's go, mom.

- Let's go, mom.
- All right.

- Rihanna...
- So, Rihanna is from Barbados. -Yeah.

- Just keep your eyes peeled.
- Okay.

It's right there, right there, -Ricky:

- Straight ahead.
- Straight ahead.

- Okay.
- Let's go, let's go, let's go.

Let me see. Yay.

"Route info. Drive to long bay beach

in Christ church parish and
search for your next clue."

- Okay.
- Okay.

- Let's go.
- Long bay beach.

Good job.

Let's go, mom. You got this.

Mom, you're doing so
good. You got it, mom.

- Let's go, mom.
- Okay.

- All right. Thank you.
- Come on.

I loved it. I was super excited

because on race days,
when it's mom's day

to do the roadblock, I
always get extremely nervous.

I don't want to be the one

to hold us up because of a roadblock.

So when I saw that one
today, I was very, very excited.

This is where I got my
ping-pong skills... my mom.

- Yes, mom.
- Ten.

Yes, mom, one more! Come on, mom!

Let's go.

Come on, mom. You got this.

Yes! Mom, come on.

Come on, mom.

You got this, mom.

- Yes!
- Yes, mom! Come on!

- Yes!
- Okay.

She got to 11 before any
other team showed up.

- Yeah. Okay.
- Yeah. So good.

Follow this down a little bit more.

Look for street signs.

This is not spring garden.

Let's stop. Let's stop
and ask somewhere.

Like, right in here? How
about, like, a shop over here?

- You know what I mean?
- I'm here for it. Let's do it.

Customer parking only.

- That's fine.
- Great, okay. - Hi.

How are you? We need some help.

We're looking for the corner
of Parkinson and Fairfield road.

- Can we look it up on your phone?
- Okay.

- Would that be okay?
- That would be...

- Thank you so much.
- Thank you so much.

- Fairfield road.
- And now, where's Parkinson?

- What road it this?
- I think this is Brighton.

Yeah, Brighton road. Okay, let's go.

- Okay. Thank you so much.
- Thank you so much, ma'am.

- You're amazing.
- Thank you.

Remember, left hand traffic.

Sorry. I'm just gonna
keep saying that all day.

Good. No, no, I want you
to. Thanks for reminding me.

Yeah, 'cause I know...
'Cause I know I would.

Like, you know what I mean?

She's gonna do it.

Yvonne's gonna do it. Let's run.

- Score 11 points.
- You got this. You got this.

- Who's no good?
- All your intensity.

Yeah. Who's the worst?

Glasses.

I picked him 'cause he had glasses.

I was hoping he couldn't
really see, you know, if I was...

You're the best one,
aren't you? I'm scared.

- You got this, bobo.
- I'm only a little worried.

No, you're not. You got this.

I'm more of the tennis
player of the two of us.

We play tennis together at home,

and there's a standing bet
that if she ever beats me,

I'll buy her the nicest steak in San Diego.

- I've gotten close once.
- She never has beaten me.

- Zero-zero.
- You got this, bobo.

That's okay. You got this.

Too aggressive. Little too aggressive.

- Okay, that's good. Okay. Sweet.
- Good job.

Hustle, hustle. You got this.

One, two.

Okay.

Good job.

"Who wants to get into
the swing of things?"

- Me. Let's go.
- Look at you.

- Let's go, baby.
- My god.

You got this.

She's doing really well so far.

No!

That's okay. You got this.

- Okay.
- Yeah.

I don't like that serve.

He's getting aggressive now.

Nice!

- Who wants to play me?
- Let's get it.

You. Let's do it.

Hopefully she can knock it out quick.

And I mean, it's some-some
ground tennis on some concrete.

I don't know what's
happening, but I believe in her.

That was wrong.

Baby, get in serious mode. Let's go.

Shh. Don't talk.

- Dang.
- Let's get it, baby.

- Good.
- We in competition mode right now.

- I know, but we're...
- We're in comp mode.

- But we're not the ones doing it.
- No, we're not, we're not.

We're over here relaxing ourselves...

We're so competitive in teams.

Seeing how things can do.

Hopefully, my wife knows
how to play table tennis.

When I think about it, I was actually

- pretty good at table tennis.
- I know.

I'm talking about slicing
the ball and everything.

So, hopefully, my wife
can be a table tennis genius.

I know.

Baby, let's be great!

Yeah, let's go!

Nice.

More like that, please.

I'm gonna get tired.

You want to go in the gas station?

- For what?
- To ask.

You don't feel confident where we're at?

No, I don't really know.

So we're kind of flying blind right now.

The map is destroyed.

Our paper's destroyed.

I'm trying not to be negative.

Well, babe, if we get
eliminated, it was a nice run.

It's early, baby. It's early.

This is crazy. Look at the roads.

So, we don't know where we're at.

We don't know where spring garden is.

We're trying to find it.

- Do we want to ask again?
- Yeah, I think we should.

- Yeah, we got to just...
- We're so lost.

Can you help us with directions?

We're trying to find black rock.

Black rock?

Turn left?

- Okay, thank you.
- Okay, thank you. - All right.

Yvonne's doing great. You got this.

There you go.

You got this, bobo. There you go. Hustle.

Damn.

It's always hard for me, watching my wife

on the sideline, 'cause I just feel like

anytime it's something
dealing with sports,

I always want to be involved.

So me watching my wife over there

volleying and smiling, and I'm like, "baby,

you need to spike the ball and destroy."

She was not in that mode.

- She was over there enjoying herself.
- I had fun.

I actually had a lot of fun today.

See, she was having fun.

Me, I would have been
in competition mode,

trying to score and get out
of there as fast as possible.

- Dang.
- Damn!

It's kind of fun, but it's... It's-it's a lot.

Let's go, baby.

- My goodness.
- Dang.

It's definitely harder than it looks.

Nice. Nice.

- Nice!
- Okay.

You got this.

Let's go, baby. You got this. Be great.

My point.

We're headed which direction?

- You don't know.
- I don't know, Ricky.

It's just, if we make it to
the errol barrow highway,

would be ideal.

I don't feel like we're near a highway.

I-I know. I mean, we're not near.

I don't know where we are.

We see that on the map

that it's a long distance
to our next destination.

And it's just a little stressful because

not all the streets
have names on the map.

We're heading somewhere.
I don't know where.

Ricky wants a specific

on knowing, like, where are we going,

where are we exactly in the map,

and I don't have an answer for that.

It's hard, I know.

- Okay, we'll...
- We'll try to catch up.

If we find the water,
we just stick to the water,

and that's it.

What does it say on the clue?

It says go to the birth house of Rihanna.

Who's Rihanna?

Mom. Mom.

Who is she?

Mom, Rihanna is one of
the most famous pop singers

- okay.
- That ever has existed.

What does she sing?

She sings...

A lot of really good
songs that are on the radio.

Sing me one.

- Come on, Danny Butler.
- Yeah.

- Why can't you think of a Rihanna song?
- Yeah. Right.

I'd probably know it if I heard it.

- You would.
- This is Burrows gap.

So keep going to the left here.

Can't miss it. Rihanna drive right here.

"Welcome to Rihanna drive."

- Just pull behind that car right there.
- Yeah.

It's right here.

- Rihanna lives here.
- All right, Rihanna.

Do you got a clue box for us?

- You do.
- All right. Here we go.

"Drive to long bay beach

found in Christ church parish
and search for your next clue."

Okay.

Nice.

Good, good.

Nice.

Come on. Get this point. Get this point.

Good job, baby!

Spike it on 'em, baby. Let's go.

"Who wants to get into
the swing of things?"

- I'll take it.
- That's you.

Ten. Okay, last... game point.

- That's it.
- That's it.

- That's 11. Thank you so much.
- Yep. Good. Good job.

- Come on, let's go.
- Good job.

- Congratulations.
- Thank you so much. Thank you.

Here go the green boys.
Here go the pilot boys.

- Pilot boys are here.
- All right, who's the best one?

I think Juan kind of crossed the line

right off the bat when he said,

"hey, who's the best one?"
And somebody raised their hand.

'Cause I thought they were instructors.

And I was like, "what is going on, dude?

What are you doing?"

At that point, I wrote
us off, and I was like,

"you know what, Juan?
We're gonna talk about this

to our wives, and I'm not
taking the fall on this one."

- When are we going home today?
- You picked the best one

because you asked.

Let's go, honcho. You got this, buddy.

Let's go.

Go, go, go!

I saw Rihanna's street passing by, but...

That guy's serve was vicious.

Then I got real cocky. I was trying

to slam 'em, like ping-pong style.

- Yeah. You did.
- It wasn't working.

And I had to slow my roll.

Nine.

She's over there being
like Serena Williams,

and I'm over here like... Like
the husband in the stands.

Keep going, baby. Keep
pushing. Good job. Let's go.

- You have one point.
- Yes. So...

Eleven.

That's it. Lord! Good job, baby.

Thank you, sir.

- Yeah.
- Got it.

Yeah.

Good job.

- You whupped him. Let's go.
- Whatever.

Okay. "Drive to the
childhood home of Rihanna"

- "to find your next clue."
- Let's go, baby. Let's get it.

"Who wants to get into
the swing of things?"

- I'll do it.
- Vince is doing it. Let's go.

Attaboy.

Usually, the only experience

I have with table tennis is if there's

ten cups on the other side.

So... So it was more of just,

"hey, let's make this thing happen."

Be an athlete about it.

Attaboy.

Come on, babe.

You got it, babe.

Last team's here.

It's okay, though.

We'll make a comeback.

Come on, juancho. You got this, buddy.

Attaboy, Juan.

At this point, we're trying
to get every single minute

that we possibly can back

because we're at the bottom of the pack.

- Attaboy, Juan.
- All right, babe. Come on.

Come on, babe.

It was a lot more
pressure being in the back

with Juan and Shane,

and as we're boiling
down to the top five teams.

And so, yes, I'm putting
a lot more pressure

on myself physically and
mentally and emotionally.

Babe, take your time.

You got this.

Just like ping-pong.

I'm actually pretty good at ping-pong.

Probably should have done it, but...

- Can you stop talking, babe?
- Yep.

Attaboy, Juan.

You got this, juancho.

- One more, Shane, one more.
- All right, buddy.

That's it, Juan. Let's go!

Let's go! Let's go, let's go, let's go!

- Congratulations.
- Thank you so much.

All right, let's go, buddy.

- There you go.
- We're heading to Rihanna's house

- and home.
- Yup.

- Ready?
- Yeah, let's go, baby.

All right, let's go.

Good job, babe.

- Game.
- Nice.

- Yay!
- Congratulations.

- Thank you. Thank you.
- Good job, babe.

We're heading downtown.

We're looking for the water.

If we have the water, we're good.

Okay, we're doing a lot of
talking. I want more certainty.

- Okay, listen. Just stop.
- Let's stop.

I mean, I know, but I cannot

I don't have the resources
with me right now.

Okay, -either you park, and we ask

these people.

Well, I can't go over
on this side of the road.

I think the anxiety

from the car comes from knowing

that there are other strong
teams right behind us.

Every minute is precious.

So every minute that we're wandering

is one minute less that we
have to complete the task.

That little cushion clock is ticking down,

and then we're gonna be even.

So now we're just even,
and if it gets to that point,

then some other teams
might be faster than us.

You want to just go?

I don't know where Togo.

- I don't know, Ricky. Go straight.
- Okay.

And, like...

You're-you're making me a little anxious.

But I don't know how to help you.

- I need you to be certain.
- But i-i...

How can I be certain if I
cannot find this in the map?

Okay, then we need to pull over.

That's okay. Just keep going.

- Keep going.
- I'm not sure!

Okay, I need to calm down.

Okay. And we can stop and ask

at any point if you feel like.

There is a person here.

Can we ask you for directions?

We're looking for errol barrow highway.

You guys are actually
on here kind of, this...

- So, kind of here? Okay.
- Yeah.

Keep straight up to the roundabout,

- and go that way.
- Yeah. Okay.

- Just keep straight...
- Okay. Got it.

- Okay.
- Perfect. Okay.

- Thank you very much.
- Thank you.

So now we're on the highway. Perfect.

We have a lead. Let's just not lose it.

Sorry, I don't see it.

- Do we open that box there?
- Maybe. Stop.

- It says "Rihanna" right here.
- Yes, it's here.

- Excuse me.
- Know where Rihanna's house is?

- Come on, babe.
- I'm right here, babe.

"Drive to long bay beach
in Christ church parish."

- You see the box?
- You see the clue?

Let's go. Let's go.

- Where's the clue?
- Where's it at, y'all?

- You're close. Very close.
- Where's it at?

- My gosh. Where?
- You're right here.

- Did you pass it?
- Dang.

I don't know. I don't see it.

Right here, baby.

This is Rihanna's childhood town?

- Yes.
- Cool.

That was so hard, babe. I'm so sorry.

Babe, I don't want you to get
frustrated. You did really well.

I think it's important for him
to maintain a positive attitude

'cause if he doesn't
have a positive attitude,

that starts affecting me.

And we all know, if I don't
have a positive attitude,

it's not... not a good outcome.

- I'm sorry, baby.
- Juan was super fast.

- That's what I was going off of.
- I was just like,

"damn. What? You finished?"

Babe, you did good.

I-I can tell you're getting frustrated.

- It's gonna be on your right.
- It's coming up here.

It's got to be coming up here.

- We got...
- Do not enter. It says "do no enter."

- That's still a cemetery.
- Okay.

- Rihanna's...
- Rihanna's what?

I just saw something Rihanna's.

It said, "follow the yellow wall."

Okay, what's this?

- What do you think?
- I don't know.

You want to turn around or keep going?

- The yellow wall's done.
- Yeah.

- We passed it.
- Yeah, we did.

All right.

My god.

I didn't see any route markers.

- Me neither.
- Dude, calm down, man.

- Just breathe. We're okay.
- Yeah, yeah. You're right, you're right.

"long bay beach to
search for your next clue."

- All right, we have a map. Okay.
- Let's ask. Let's ask.

Where's, long bay beach?

Long bay is somewhere over here.

Okay.

Where's the route marker?

We-we need to keep going.

Shane.

- For real?
- Yeah. Let's go.

- Freights bay is south.
- Yeah, I know.

- It's the southernmost part of the island.
- Yup.

Okay.

All right, buddy. Hey,
we're good. We're good.

There's the bridge that we started at.

So I'm gonna need you to turn right.

Okay, I'm waiting for our crew.

Turn right, mom.

I am, but I got to get
on that side of the street.

Left side, yep.

And then stay straight.

For this leg of the race,

we had two people in our crew

one camera operator, one sound person.

We were in a Jeep.

Crew's behind us, and so

mom and I kept looking behind us

to make sure that we
didn't lose our crew.

It's a rule that you can't continue

until you are with your crew.

Stay in this middle Lane.

- Okay.
- Yep.

- This is perfect.
- Is that our crew back there?

- Don't worry about our guys.
- Okay.

They'll tell us on the radio.

Yep.

Thank you. I appreciate the assurance.

Now what are we doing?

We're gonna come up to a roundabout.

- We're gonna hit two more roundabouts.
- Good.

Love those roundabouts.

We're gonna want to get
off at the two o'clock exit.

- You want that one.
- Nope, I don't want that one.

You don't want that one?

Want me to go round again?

Yeah. One more time.

- Henry Ford roundabout.
- Keep going.

- Why are people honking at me?
- Keep going.

That's fine. Keep going
around in the roundabout.

Okay.

'Cause you need to be
in the right-hand side.

- Do I go?
- Yep, go.

I'm on the right-hand side.

Go to the left.

- We're going to the left?
- Yeah, go out there.

- Do I turn right?
- Yep.

Yep. You're right here. You're good.

- Sorry about that.
- I lost our crew.

- Really?
- Yeah, I did.

It's okay.

- Don't worry. They'll tell us to stop.
- Okay. All right,

all right, I just don't
see their Van anywhere.

It was nerve-racking
because we just lost our crew.

They had taken a left at the
roundabout when we went right,

and you're not supposed
to lose your crew.

Hey, crew, can you hear us?

This is Danny and Angie checking in.

Wow.

Hey, crew, can you hear us?

This is Danny and Angie checking in.

- Wow.
- No, keep going.

- We have no crew right now.
- I know.

- I have got nobody behind us.
- That's fine. That's fine.

Danny, I really feel like
we need to find them.

No.

They'll find us. Mom,
we're almost to chancery.

We're right here.

They'll just meet us at the next stop.

I'm gonna assume we lost you.

We're gonna catch you at the next place.

- My goodness.
- No, it's... mom, it's okay.

Wow!

My god.

Ooh, the breeze.

"Seaweed clearing or fish pot building?"

More than a million people
visit Barbados every year.

And one of the primary reasons

the more than 80 white-sand beaches

that this island has to offer.

Teams will perform both sides
of the detour here at this one

long bay beach.

Barbados is home to an
abundance of marine life

that local fishermen catch
with traditional pots like this.

This detour requires teams to build one

using tamarind sticks, wire mesh

and thin pieces of wire

to hold everything together.

If this fisherman decides their fish pots

are sturdy enough to bring a good catch,

teams will receive their next clue.

Nothing ruins the look

of a pristine white-sand beach like this

than one that is covered in seaweed.

But perhaps more importantly,

this sargassum makes
it almost impossible

for turtles to lay their eggs.

This detour requires teams
to take part in a cleanup effort.

Once they have cleared and collected

one blue barrel full, they'll receive a clue.

- Seaweed clearing.
- Seaweed clearing.

Just be careful.

- It's gonna be slippery.
- Yes. Yes.

My god. This is so cool!

So it might be all the way over there.

Is that a flag?

- Should we just see the-the...
- Yeah, come on.

Let's see how the fish thing is.

'Cause I cannot really
run, Ricky, in this...

Okay.

I think we can do this a little faster

- I think we could do this fast.
- Okay.

- We're gonna switch.
- We've decided to switch.

- We're just gonna build...
- We're gonna do fish pot building.

Looking down the beach,
we realized, like, "wow.

That's a really far gap."

And to run on sand is not the easiest,

so we opted to do the fish pot.

Okay. So now we need
to do the cone -the cone.

- To put in the middle.
- And cut a hole.

And how are we gonna put it inside?

We have pliers... We have cutters here.

- We need to put the support on top.
- Yeah.

You do the cone and I
start doing the support?

Yeah.

So, I'm trying to make a cone

out of the chicken wire

so the fish are gonna
swim into the widest part,

and then they get stuck
down at the bottom.

This is brains, and we've got it.

We're the first ones here.

We were able to pick the closest one to,

- the example.
- To the example.

That's an advantage.

We made the right choice
on our wardrobe today.

Yeah, look at that. We're
on the beach. Feeling good.

Hopefully, we can be fast
enough to get out of here before,

like, all the physical teams.

This detour is gonna be
make or break, ma'am.

It is. Let me make sure we're
still going the right direction.

Yeah, we're going
southeast, which is good.

You're good. You're good.

Okay, stay straight.

Perfect. There's the water.

Hell yeah. All right, I think we're good.

- Come on, buddy.
- Come on.

- Come on, buddy.
- He's walking extra slow.

Come on buddy, buddy.

He's on that island time.

Where does it say we're going?

Long beach or long... Something beach.

Yeah, I'm just a little
frustrated right now. Let's hope

we didn't take a way that
was too ridiculously long.

Stop worrying about the race.

Just drive.

And you know what, maybe
there is one clue left. Who cares?

Stressing about it isn't
gonna make anything better.

Completely right.

Where are we? I'm gonna get...

Are we going north
or are we going south?

Which way are we going?

Baby, I bet you're stressing out right now.

I am, 'cause I hate just
not knowing where I'm at.

This would be the
hardest thing in life for me

not having a clue where I'm at.

But doesn't that seem
to be a lot of the race

not knowing where you are?

Yeah, but that don't make
it any more less frustrating.

The most challenging
part about navigating is rod

he just freaks out. He
needs to calm down.

We had no clue where we was going.

The street signs weren't matching up.

We couldn't find the highway.

So that part of the drive
probably is when I got

on my wife's nerves the most.

It can be very frustrating,
but at the point I'm just like,

I'm tapping out.

Why in the world is this not on here?

Lord, we don't know
what's happening right now.

We're just driving straight.

We don't know the name
of the street we're on.

We can't figure out nothing.

Lord, we don't know
what's happening right now.

We're just driving straight.

We don't know the name
of the street we're on.

We can't figure out nothing.

I need to ask somebody.

- Excuse me.
- Hi.

Can anybody tell us
how to get to long beach?

What's the fastest route?

And we're right here.

So is it better keeping
straight and then turning down

and coming here? Or
we should take the red?

Go right at this. Right.

Then go around. Go make a left.

So we need to go left

- to chancery. Okay.
- You're right.

I feel better about these directions.

We're gonna try to
jump onto the interstate.

Lord Jesus.

I think we done made up some ground.

Figure out where we going.

We're here. Christ church.

That's the one.

That's the Juan.

How are you doing, Ricky?

Doing pretty good. I
think I've got the cone.

- What? You got it?
- Which end are you working on?

- Are you gonna start cutting?
- Yeah.

Okay. I'm gonna need
to put these two here.

So if you can cut from this side.

This side.

Being next to the example,

we can go back and forth
as many times as we need.

So I think that has been part of
our strategy from the beginning.

Staying at the front.

So we have more
resources to work with.

- Careful. 'Cause it's...
- Okay. Okay.

- I'm working with very sharp... okay?
- Sorry. Sorry.

It's been challenging, as well,

being by ourselves. Although we...

Mostly, all the time, we have noticed that

we are on the front.

You never can let your guard down.

Just take your time. Right
now we're by ourselves.

The moment that we start seeing people,

we start getting worried.

- Can I just go right here?
- Yup, just park right...

And we'll tell 'em we don't have our crew.

- Hey, we don't have our crew.
- We have lost our crew.

Let's just go back to the car and wait.

All we could do was
wait until our crew arrived.

That was hard for me,

sitting there going like,
"this is out of your control."

Bummer. I'm gonna play the what-ifs.

- No. No.
- But I can't do that.

Yeah, we're good, hon. We're good.

The hard thing was
watching the time go by.

- I think it's a...
- I mean, ultimately, it was on us.

- We lost our crew.
- Yup.

- It's not over till it's over.
- Yup.

This is pretty.

"Seaweed clearing or fish pot building?"

- Seaweed. Seaweed.
- We're doing seaweed.

- Okay.
- Gonna do some seaweed!

- Let's go, bobo.
- I'm coming, coming.

Look how big this barrel is.

They're all the same size, aren't they?

It's gigantic is what I'm saying.

- It's going to take a while.
- One, two...

- There's another team here.
- Okay.

That is gonna take us,
like, quite a bit of time.

It is. They're all gonna take time.

- Hello, hello.
- Hi.

Is it hard?

It's time-consuming.

Yeah, time-consuming.

You know where the other teams are?

- They're behind us.
- Right behind you?

- So, yeah, right behind.
- Got it.

- It's gonna take a lot of trips.
- They probably don't

I think they can muscle it faster than us.

- I think we need to do this.
- Yeah, I agree.

Okay, we're switching.
We're doing this one.

Yeah, puts a little pressure.

Nap time is over.

Yeah.

Feels great to be at a
challenge with a first-place team.

They're still ahead of us, so

let's not get ahead of ourselves.

We've got a couple
more branches to put on.

Feels like I'm trying to overachieve.

I want it to be sturdy,

but I need to start focusing
on getting us out of here.

And there's a... It's
only one stick around.

- On top?
- This, the middle one,

- it goes on top of everything.
- Okay.

- Let's do the fish pot building.
- Okay.

- Marked path. Ooh.
- Careful.

- There's a lot of mud.
- We made up time, babe.

Baby, you did so good navigating us.

Hello!

Hi, guys. Hello, hello.

Baby, this is good for us.

Gonna build a little fish basket.

We have one-one more team here.

And, at this point, we
were the first ones here.

We cannot be the
third ones leaving here.

Those guys have been down
there a long time... the boys, so...

Yup. Lord, just be with us,

be with the crew as
they're navigating here.

We made up some
time with our navigation.

I don't really know. I
don't know what happened

- to the other teams.
- Me either.

We made it.

"Detour. Seaweed
clearing or fish pot building?"

All right, let's do the fish
pot. Let's do the fish pot.

Yeah, baby.

- There's another team here.
- Okay.

There's rod and leticia.

The pressure is on right now.

I'm redoing one of my corners
'cause I think I did it wrong.

It's attention to detail, baby.

There's very small details that
some teams are gonna miss.

The hole. I think the
hole had to be in this side.

- No.
- Yes. This one has two.

This is why I asked you
when I was building it

- if it...
- Got it, got it. No. Now I know. I know.

- Okay, well, I have to patch the hole.
- Can you patch it?

Okay, that's fine.

This is bad.

I cut the hole on the wrong side.

Sorry, Ricky. My bad.

So now I'm patching,
which is going to be

- really, really, really annoying.
- Optimism, support.

So, right now, we're trying to build.

I guess this a cage for
some crabs or something.

I have no clue what it's for.

This reminds me of
when my dad and I used

to go fishing in the Philippines.

We'd do lobster fishing, crab fishing.

A crap trap is very similar.

They can go in, but
then they can't come out.

I was born in the
Philippines on ocean beach,

where it was, like, literally on the water,

all day, every day.

And so family showed me all the tricks

of being a seaman or ocean
man and knowing how to fish

and all those different things.

And so doing the same
thing today was just,

kind of reminded me of all
the things that we did as a child.

No, I'm bleeding.

Yeah, these things are
sharp. Be very careful.

All these wires. Cutting the hands a little.

At this point, my fingers
are starting to bleed.

Yeah, I've got a bunch of cuts.

This is b positive blood.

The vampires will love this.

Honestly, I just need
cry, so I can say, like,

"Phil, this was made with
tears, blood and sweat."

Yeah, right?

Everyone's working hard right now.

Our crew showed up.

Go. Let's go.

Mom, wait for me.

To go from, like, a top-three,
we're in a really good position

to, "hey, we're racing for last right now."

The last.

- I want to do fish pot building.
- Seawee...

And I was like, "okay,
let's make up some time."

Yeah.

"We're in this. Let's go."

All right, here we go.

- The check. Let's take it.
- Grab the front.

- Good job, guys.
- Thank you.

Hello.

Okay, secured.

All the corners, all that.

- Well done. -Thank you!
- Yes!

Thank you so much.

We got an image. It says "welcome

to 'hasting' rocks."

This pit stop has all the ingredients

for a bajan good time...
a great view, a tuk band

and stilt walkers.

It'll be like a small carnival
when teams arrive here,

except for the last team,
who will be eliminated.

- Pit stop!
- Let me hide it.

- Good luck, guys.
- Thank you. Good luck.

- Good job.
- Good job.

Hey, y'all.

- Hey.
- Hello, hello.

Hey, which one was better?

The wheelbarrows are really far away.

- Okay.
- Yeah.

- Seems really physical...
- But be careful.

- Okay.
- You got it, guys.

There's still one team missing.

Danny yeah, I know.

We see, team walla walla showing up.

All right, here we go.

Hey, man, we over here working hard.

We need to connect
these in the middle here.

Not on the side, just the ends.

- On the front and back.
- No, no, no, no.

- Not on that side.
- Okay.

They just all right here.

Kind of feels like we're
at another roadblock

because he's handling most of it.

I just need you to pay attention.

Make sure I got everything right.

So far, I think you're doing amazing.

I don't know what you call this,

but I'm working on the
thing that goes in the middle.

I think that's where you catch the fish.

Yeah, baby.

What's rod over there doing?

You got to stop worrying about
what other teams are doing.

I need all your focus
where we're at, baby.

It's you and me, right?

It's not over till it's over.
We're not gonna quit.

Long bay beach, right.

Boom. Long bay
beach. When you're right,

- you're right, Shane.
- Yeah. Gonna see where

these cards ended up falling.

- Last one? All right.
- Yup, last one.

What do you think?

I think seaweed cleaning, right?

We got to go quickly

and get this seaweed under control.

All right, which one do
we pick? This one it is.

Yeah.

- All right, all right.
- Come on, let's go.

There's still a lot of teams here.

- We can still... We can make this time up.
- Yeah.

I think this is the right
challenge 'cause, even though

the other one's more methodical,
people are already starting it.

- I see a red flag all over there.
- All the way over there?

- Yeah.
- Let's do it.

- All right.
- Let's go, baby.

Do you want to build this thing?

Do you think you could build it quicker?

- No, 'cause they already started.
- Are you sure?

I think we do it. I think we can.

We just got to grab it
here and take it back.

We're gonna fill this wheelbarrow with,

as much seaweed as we can.

We saw all the other teams,

so, we got to be quick.

I'm bleeding.

I'm bleeding everywhere.

It's like I got, like I stuck myself at work.

- With a needle?
- Yeah.

We are not unsavvy
with a little bit of blood.

- Let's go check it.
- Let's go check. Well, come on.

Let's go.

They're getting a check.
They're getting theirs checked.

Come on, babe. We got to hurry.

Hopefully, we get
this right on the first try.

- He's saying no?
- It's no?

Lord. Come on, let's go.

This is our first time being
in the back of the pack.

Yes.

So it's a little, like, defeating.

But it's humbling. I told her, you know,

we just gonna take it in
stride. I'm trying to teach her...

He calls it humbling. I call it defeating.

That check did not go well.

- Is anybody not here?
- No, everyone's here.

You're doing great, mom.

Hopefully gonna make
up some time right now.

I think it's gonna be definitely close.

I think with our penalty, that put us back.

And we got Juan and Shane doing

a physical task, and
that's what they're good at.

Grab the dry seaweed so it weighs less.

We were in last place all day today.

There was certainly some,

"hey, this might be it. Like,
we might be going home."

You still feel comfortable
with the wheelbarrow,

- the weight?
- Yeah. Yeah, it's fine.

- You ready?
- Yeah.

We don't think about going home.

We just think about doing what we can.

I mean, we're always gonna try our best.

Probably three or four
of these, if I had to guess.

Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

They're taking a risk
'cause they're physical.

Taking that risk to try to catch up.

- Yeah, smart. Smart.
- Smart move.

- You're doing great, buddy.
- You're doing great.

'Cause you know that they were behind.

- It's all good. It's all good.
- Hey.

Here, I got it. Move,
move. I got it. I got it.

Go to the middle. Go to the middle.

- Shane, I'm thinking two of these.
- Good job.

We got through the first wheelbarrow,

- and it was like, "god."
- Thank god.

That was a breath of fresh air.

First wheelbarrow, we were
halfway filled on that thing,

and I was like, "this was the one."

Don't drop any of 'em.
Don't drop any of 'em.

I know.

And then I looked, and all
the teams were still there,

and I was like, "we're gonna do this."

- Let's go. You got that?
- I got it. I got it. Come on.

We see the Avenue of success.

And we're just gonna keep burning.

Come on.

I don't get this.

Need to cut a little bit
more from the bottom.

They got muscles. They could do it.

Let's go.

Right now, we're just

making sure all the corners
are wrapped tightly together.

The squadron bros are gonna call me

the biggest wuss under the sun.

- Yeah.
- But right now,

all that matters is getting
the seaweed into a barrel.

The seaweed gets a
lot heavier with the sand.

Yeah.

I still feel good about this detour.

I just feel like we got to
switch this wood around.

Just correct this piece over here,

and then we should be ready
to go for our second check.

Just have to get it done.

We got this. We got this.

Yeah, we got it.

All right, you got it.

Just a typical Thursday in Barbados.

Just making a fish pot.

Okay, I think this is done.

I just got to tighten some stuff right now.

Hey, come on, come on.
Push, push, push, push.

Keep going.

- Wait, wait. Be careful, be careful.
- I know, I know.

Okay.

Dude, this is it. This is it, Juan.

This is it, bro.

I got it. I got it. Catch your breath.

That's it. This is gonna do it, Juan.

This is gonna be it.

- This is gonna be it.
- This is gonna be it.

This is it. That's got to be it.

- Yeah.
- Don't worry about it.

- Let's go.
- All right.

We got to do one more.

We're close. Very close.

Phil is waiting.

I know for sure

this thing is gonna be sturdy
by the time I finish with it.

This is it.

We're in this fight, bro.

We're in this fight.

- I think that's good, man.
- Bro.

- All right, all right, all right.
- Don't lighten up.

Everybody else is still here,
Shane. We got a chance.

We have about four more
main ties to do up top,

and then it's just going
to be the fish traps.

If anybody can make
up time here, this kid can.

It needs to be on the same side, so, left.

We're doing good, babe.

Baby, we're battling for
second place right now.

Come on. Come on.

Come on, please. Please.

All right.

- Thank you so much.
- Thank you.

- Thank you.
- What's it say?

- "Hastings rock."
- Okay. I know where that is.

- You do?
- I know where it's at.

Pilots just finished their
detour super quickly.

We got a big, big fat lead.

- Pilot boys just left.
- Damn it.

But all the other teams are still here.

- They're done. Ooh.
- Damn, that was fast.

Okay, bro, I know where we're going.

We're heading to ha... Hastings rock.

- To find Phil.
- To find Phil.

Come on, come on, come on!

Come on, come on, come on.

Phil!

- Coming!
- We made it!

Come on!

- Done.
- One, two, three.

We have our shirts on.

Welcome to Barbados!

- Thank you!
- Thank you!

A little in the front, a little in the back.

We love it.

Ricky and Cesar, you
have had quite a run.

Once again, another first place finish.

- Congratulations.
- Yes!

- Thank you.
- Yes, Phil!

Is that crazy or what?

And I have some good
news to share with them.

You have won $7,500 each.

Yeah!

You've been so consistent. I mean, is it...

Are you getting more
nervous as time goes on?

I think we're a little nervous,

but I think being a little
nervous is good -yeah.

To keep us on our toes. We're just gonna

keep doing what we're doing.

Three second places
and five first places.

My god. Every single leg,
we're surprising ourselves.

Adaptability has been key.

Just being able to think on your feet

and try to solve the
problem... it's working so far.

- Very strong.
- Please, please, please.

Yes.

Yes! Baby, we got it.

Well done.

- Okay.
- Look at all this blood.

- Hurry up, come on.
- Thank you.

Thank you so much. Nice work, babe!

Okay, I think this is done.

I don't think fish are
getting in and out of here.

- Let's just go check. Let's just go check.
- Okay.

- Good job, you guys.
- Good luck, guys. You got it.

- Yeah.
- Yeah, that's good.

He's giving it a good shake.

Don't break it.

Yes!

- Thank you so much. Thank you.
- Sweet. Thank you so much.

- I think we look good.
- I think so, too.

Mom, we got this. We're in this.

That's amazing, right there.

That's sturdy. Yeah.

Lord.

- How?
- What are we missing?

I don't see what's wrong.

If you think you have what it takes

to win the amazing race,

go to CBS.Com/casting and apply now.

So right now it's just
us and chichi and rod,

and I really don't want to
go against them in a footrace.

And so, we're gonna just make sure

that we do this right... The first time.

- I don't know what I'm missing.
- We're missing the sticks.

We're missing two of 'em.

Two legs on the edge.

We're missing these two.

- Yeah.
- All four of 'em.

- Yeah.
- Damn.

We were missing the
pieces of wood that makes it

- sturdy up and down.
- Sturdy.

We had everything
on top and the bottom,

but we didn't have the
long pieces going vertical.

- Extremely frustrating.
- And that's what we was missing.

So we did two checks
and he sent us back

and then we finally figured
out what we messed up at.

But I'm saying we're missing
the whole edges, baby.

I-I... duh! That's the
only part that's missing.

Shh.

- But you didn't know it.
- That's what I keep telling you.

You want me to just keep

- running back and forth or what?
- No. These are missing.

Them lines are missing.

Yeah, those right there. That could go...

What am I supposed to do with that?

Yeah, but I asked you that earlier,

did we have everything,
and you said we did.

When I stuck it up before,
you were like, "no, this is it.

Those extra sticks aren't there."

Right now, I'm just doing
some clipping of some wires

to make it look a little bit nicer.

It's a little stressful.

But you know what?
We're not gonna give up.

- Here. Here.
- Yeah, do you want to do some? Yup.

Just take our time and do it right.

Let's go!

Let's go, Phil!

Let's go!

Juan and Shane, you've got big smiles.

I am pleased to tell you
that you're team number two.

- Whoa!
- Yeah!

Let's go, dude.

- Team number two, man.
- It all came down to that detour, Phil.

Today, you guys went
from last to second place.

Huge achievement.

There's a lot of today that
didn't feel so good because

of where we started,
but now we're both ready

to rock this next leg.

We're taking off in
the first group next leg.

We're not doing anything
dumb, dangerous,

or different at this point.
Those million dollars

- are getting closer and closer, so...
- More real

- and more real every day.
- Yeah.

Let's go!

So I think we back in action now.

This last part is the
most precision of it all

and so, just making
sure that it all looks good.

Yeah. Let's go see if we got action, baby.

It's frustrating, but we finna go.

We're not giving up. We'll
just get this judged and...

Take a breath. It's okay.

- Yup.
- Good play. We're doing great.

- Yes.
- Yeah.

- Finally. -Finally.
- Thank you. Yeah.

- Here you go.
- Appreciate that.

It is-it is hard to want to go fast

and know you're last and then

trying to know just like, "hey,
you're still potentially in it."

"Don't ever give up until Phil tells you

that you're 'philiminated.'"

we out here.

Come on, beautiful. We got to hurry.

Yeah, there's a team behind us.

Okay, go.

Run.

Go, go, go. Go, go, go.

Babe, come on!

What am I stuck on? Go, go, go.

What? Grab my thing. Grab my bag.

We saw y'all are behind
us and I was, like...

Awesome!

- Look at these guys, babe.
- Yes.

Wow.

I'd like to introduce you to Peggy.

- Hi, Peggy.
- Welcome to Barbados!

- Thank you.
- Thank you.

I'm gonna give you a whole... Hey!

A little Booty bounce. Did you see that?

I am pleased to tell you that
you are teams number three

and four.

- Strong work. Strong work.
- Good job, guys. Good job.

Well, what do you think it
is? I mean, 'cause you are

definitely most improving.

- What is it?
- We've stayed

in the middle of the pack and now

that the pack is getting smaller,

we can't stay in the
middle of the pack anymore,

so we're just bunching...
Inching up spot to spot, so...

Hello, good sir.

There you go.

- Well done.
- Thank you.

- Thank you.
- Yeah. Yes.

All right, we know where this
is, mom. Let's go. Come on.

We're going to Hastings rock,
which we passed on the way here.

All right, let's see. It's not over till,

the fat lady sings.

Well, right now, we're
heading to the pit stop.

It's just, it's right here somewhere.

Got to be down here somewhere.

I don't think this is right.

- It say, "private property."
- Okay, don't go here.

- So do we back up? I can't see.
- Yeah.

I think we need to turn around.

We've just left that stop last.

So I got all the
heebie-jeebies right now, but...

- There's always hope.
- And so, there's always hope

in the amazing race.

There's hope that rod and chichi get lost.

Be careful.

No.

My goodness, please don't be that.

I'm gonna push, you drive.

We're stuck in the mud.

It's a tight race between Angie

and Danny and rod and chichi.

Dan and Angie are
coming up from behind

as the underdogs right now.

- What do I need to do? Go...
- Just go forward slow.

- Okay.
- Go. Go ahead. Push the gas.

Dang it. That's what
being strong do sometime.

We are headed to Phil
at the pit stop right now,

but if we are eliminated,

this has been an experience of a lifetime.

- No crying on the mat.
- No.

- Ooh, man.
- We still in the race, baby.

Amazing race, we still here, baby.

Hey, we're close. We
are close, Phil. Come on.

Phil, where you at, Phil?

- Phil, we're trying to find you, Phil.
- Always...

Okay, I think I see something.

Hey! Hey!

Yeah, baby.

Phil, we made it, baby.

Tell us some good news, Phil.

- It's been a rough day.
- We got stuck in a ditch.

Rod literally had to
push the car to get us out.

I did.

And, Peggy, you know he
wouldn't have had any trouble

- pushing a car. Yeah. Yeah.
- No, no, all them muscles... no, no.

I appreciate that.

Rod and leticia, do you have any idea

- where you are right now?
- We have no clue.

- We're late in the pack.
- Phil,

I know you got something good to tell us.

I think we left Danny
and Angie back there.

Rod and leticia, I am pleased to tell you

that you are still in this race.

- You're team number five.
- Nice.

Thank you. Thank you. We're in the...

- You've never started last before, -ever.
- Never.

But you will be in the next leg.

It was a rough day, but
for us, to still be in the race,

- we'll take that.
- Yeah.

'Cause our best day's still is...

- Yet to come.
- You still ain't seen it yet.

- Hey! Hey, hey!
- Mwah.

Hey, baby, we dance to that thing!

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

- Hey. Hand in hand.
- Absolutely.

- Hey! Hey!
- Hey! High five!

Hi, Phil.

I know you poured absolutely
everything into this race.

Nothing has stopped you, though.

We did not quit.

- Angie and Danny...
- Yeah.

You've survived so
many legs of this race.

Unfortunately, this is the
end for you on this race.

- That's all right.
- You are the last team to arrive.

We've been "philiminated."

- You have been philiminated.
- Philiminated.

We took a wrong turn
in a roundabout today

- and lost our crew.
- Got lost.

Tough way to be eliminated.

This has been everything
I've ever dreamed of.

Yeah.

It's been so fun.

The roadblocks, the detours,
to travel around the world,

and to do it with one of your best friends.

I love you and I couldn't be prouder

and more privileged to do
this race with you, sweetheart.

I've always known I've
got a million-dollar kid here.

He made sure I was okay, constantly.

He was loving me and loving others.

It's just who he is.

I watched my mom
conquer fears this race.

To be able to watch
your mom continue to be

we tried.

The big hero that you
imagined as a little kid

that is something that...

So thankful the amazing race gave me.

Bye!

Next time on the amazing
race... Let's go, baby!

Melissa is stumped... I don't know.

Stay calm! You got it!

I still don't have it.

Amber and vinny get stressed...

You're acting crazy.

- This is no good.
- Yeah.

That's what I literally said back there.

And rod strikes out.

I can't throw right!

I can't throw right!
