Hola, I'm Diego.

And this is my sister, Alicia.

Hi.

And this is our prima, Dora.

Baby Jaguar.

( roars )

This is our first time at a dinosaur museum.

ALL: We love dinosaurs!

( Baby Jaguar roars )

Do you like dinosaurs?

Me, too.

And Alicia really loves dinosaurs.

She's a dinosaur expert.

Tell us about the dinosaurs, Alicia.

Dinosaurs lived a long, long, long time ago.

Even before there were people around.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

Some dinosaurs were super big and had really long necks.

Do you see the dinosaur with a really long neck?

Yeah, that one.

Right.

That's called a Brachiosaurus.

Wow!

Look how big he is!

And some dinosaurs were really small.

Which is the really small dinosaur?

Yeah, that one.

Sí, that's a Microraptor.

It's so small, it could fit in Dora's backpack.

Wow, that is small!

Do you know what kind of dinosaur this is?

ALL: A T.rex.

That's right.

ALICIA: The T.rex was one of the fiercest dinosaurs ever known.

Alicia, what kind of dinosaur is this one?

This is called a Maiasaura.

Can you say "Maiasaura"?

Say "Maiasaura."

Great.

Hey, Alicia.

What do you think happened to this Maiasaura?

We think that this was a very brave Maiasaura

who was the big sister in a happy family

that traveled together.

Come on, little Maiasauras.

Follow me.

ALL: We're coming, Maia.

The Maiasauras were looking for a place

to lay their dinosaur eggs, so they would be safe

from the Troodon dinosaurs.

Maiasauras are afraid of Troodons.

( sniffs )

I smell Troodon dinosaurs.

There they are!

Little Maiasauras, go catch up with Mommy.

I'll build a big wall to keep the Troodons away

and meet you later.

Thanks, Maia.

Gracias.

ALICIA: Maia needs to build a wall with a giant rock,

so the Troodons can't get by.

But the rock is really heavy.

Will you help Maia lift the rock?

Great!

Are you strong?

Really, really strong?

Great!

Put your hands out in front of you and lift the giant rock.

Lift! Lift! Lift!

Good lifting.

And the Troodons couldn't get by.

And all the Maiasauras were safe.

Maia went down the path to go meet her family,

but then, a big storm came.

( thunder rumbling )

It rained so hard that it washed away the footprints.

Maia was lost and couldn't find her family.

We've got to help Maia the Maiasaura

find her family.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

It will be our biggest adventure ever.

But we can do it, because...

I'm an animal rescuer.

I'm an animal scientist and I know a lot about dinosaurs.

I'm an explorer.

I've traveled all over the world.

And don't forget about me.

( roars )

I'm a jaguar.

And I can growl really loud, if we need it.

Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!

Now we're ready to go help Maia the Maiasaura.

But there's one more person we need on our trip.

You! You! You! You!

Will you help Maia the Maiasaura find her family?

Great!

We all need to jump back to the time of the dinosaurs.

We have to stand up to jump back to the time of the dinosaurs.

Stand up, please.

Now get ready to do a super jump.

We're back in the time of dinosaurs.

Now we can help Maia the Maiasaura

get back to her family.

But I don't see Maia.

Hey, where'd she go?

Look there are dinosaur footprints on the ground.

But we don't know which ones are Maia's.

Diego, my dinosaur book says

that Maiasaura footprints have three toes.

So we have to look for the dinosaur footprint

with three toes.

Let's count the toes on this footprint.

To get to Egg Island, first you go through the muddy mud pits.

Then across the rocky rock cliffs.

Then past the volcano.

And that's how you get to Egg Island.

So remember...

Look, we made it to the muddy mud pits.

DIEGO: Mud ball!

Whoa, what did Maia use to bat away the mud ball?

Her tail?

Diego, Maiasauras have a long, stiff tail.

It's like a giant baseball bat.

That's so cool.

Maia can bat the mud balls with her tail

so we don't get muddy.

Okay by me.

We have to tell Maia to watch out for mud balls.

If you see a mud ball,

yell "mud ball!"

A mud ball.

ALL: Mud ball!

A giant mud ball.

Yell "mud ball!"

Yay! We made it past the muddy mud pits.

Wow, I never used my tail to bat mud balls before.

That was fun.

( rumbling )

My dinosaur book says Maiasauras

are plant eaters.

They eat leaves.

Lots and lots of leaves.

Do you see any trees?

DIEGO: Si, ahora senesos arboles.

Let's go!

Maia needs to reach those leaves way up there.

Maiasauras can stand on their back legs

and stretch up to eat leaves from trees.

Hey, let's all stretch like Maiasauras.

Put your arms in the air and stretch up high.

( gulping )

That sounds like my cousins, the honking Edmontosauruses.

Those silly dinosaurs are always causing trouble.

I can smell when other dinosaurs are around.

And I think I smell Troodon dinosaurs.

Oh, no. Maiasauras are afraid of Troodons.

Do you see any Troodons?

Yeah, here they come.

And they're heading for Egg Island.

That's where the Maiasaura family is.

They must've gotten past the wall.

Troodons are really smart dinosaurs.

They may be smart, but not as smart as us.

I know.

If we all stomp like big dinosaurs

they'll think there's an earthquake

and we'll scare them away.

But we better hurry, Diego,

'cause the Troodons are getting closer.

Come on.

Quick. Let's all stomp like dinosaurs.

You have to stand up to stomp.

Stand up, please.

Stand up!

Now stomp like a dinosaur.
