♪ Where nature's running wild ♪

♪ Coming to the rescue ♪

♪ Is a very special child ♪

♪ Talking to the animals ♪

♪ And swinging from a vine ♪

♪ This rough and tough adventurer ♪

♪ Is working all the time ♪

♪Ahi viene, diego ♪

- ♪ Diego ♪

- ♪ Diego ♪

All: go, diego, go!

- ♪ Alicia's on the mission ♪

♪ We're all going for a ride ♪

♪ Diego's on the run ♪

♪ With baby jaguar by his side ♪

♪ Discovering together ♪

♪ Yeah, we're always having fun ♪

♪ Helping out each other ♪

♪ Is good for everyone ♪

♪ And there goes diego ♪

- ♪ Diego ♪

- Whee!

All: go, diego, go!

- Today we're in borneo, over here.

Hola, I'm diego.

Do you want to see some wild animals?

Great, because today, I'm in the rainforest

On the island of borneo, where there are some

Of the wildest animals in the world.

Ooh, there's a sumatran rhino.

There are only about of them, and they only live in borneo,

And here's a picture of a bay cat.

They're the rarest cats in the world,

And you can only find them in borneo,

And they've got lots of birds,

But they also have flying squirrels,

Flying foxes, and flying lemurs.

Whoa!

I don't think that was a flying animal.

Is it a flying animal?

No, he's an orangutan, and he's just a baby.

We've got to find your family.

- [Grunting]

- Look, baby orangutan's playing follow the leader with me.

Orangutans are really smart.

There's my friend, burgin.

Burgin's an animal rescuer like us.

I bet he can help us find baby orangutan's family.

- Hi, diego.

Welcome to borneo.

- Burgin, this little guy dropped out of a tree to play.

We've got to find his family.

- Well, I've been planting fruit trees for the orangutans,

So I know they're around here.

- Let's look for them.

If you see orangutans, say, "orangutans."

Yeah, there they are.

- It's baby orangutan's mommy and sister.

- They're so happy to be together again.

- Do you want to see more orangutans, diego?

- That would be cool.

- Orangutans love to play games.

- Like baby played follow the leader.

- [Grunting]

I think baby orangutan wants to play follow the leader again.

- Well let's play

And see if more orangutans come and join in.

- Come on, let's play follow the leader

To see more orangutans.

Do what we do. Ready? Here we go.

Touch your nose.

Yeah, come on, everybody.

Both: ♪ touch your nose ♪

All: ♪ like an orangutan ♪

- Look, the orangutan family are touching their noses too.

Cool.

Now wiggle your fingers.

Yeah, that's the way.

Both: ♪ wiggle your fingers ♪

All: ♪ like an orangutan ♪

- More orangutans are joining in.

- Now shake your hips.

Come on, really shake 'em.

All: ♪ shake your hips ♪

- Now stomp your feet.

All: whoo!

♪ I see you understand ♪

♪ We're playing follow the leader ♪

♪ Like an orangutan ♪

♪ Yeah ♪

[Both giggling]

- Wow, you're all really good at playing follow the leader.

- [Grunting]

[Grunting]

- Baby brother.

- Baby orangutan.

Oh, no, baby orangutan is floating away.

- Where is the river taking him, diego?

- My special camera, click, can help us find baby orangutan

And see where the river is taking him.

Say, "click."

- ♪ Say, "click" ♪

♪ Take a pic ♪

♪ Say, "click" ♪

♪ Take a pic ♪

♪Soy click la camara ♪

♪ I can take a pic ♪

♪ I can see and hear the animal in trouble ♪

♪ Zoom in through the forest and out to the sea ♪

♪ To find the animal, just call on me ♪

♪ Say, "click" ♪

♪ Take a pic ♪

Hi, I'm click the camera.

We need to find baby orangutan.

Let's zoom through the rainforest

And look for orange animals.

This animal is orange.

Is it baby orangutan?

No. What animal is it?

Correcto, a crab. Let's keep looking.

This animal is orange.

Is it baby orangutan?

No. What animal is it?

Correcto, a bird. Let's keep looking.

This animal is orange.

Is that baby orangutan?

Yes, it is.

Can you say, "orangutan?"

Great. Say, "orangutan."

Muy bien.

Now you tell diego you found baby orangutan.

- What did you find?

Baby orangutan?

- Yeah, that's my brother. That's my brother.

We've got to save him.

- To find out where he's headed,

We need to see more of the picture.

We can do that if click super-zooms out.

Say, "super-zoom."

Look, baby orangutan's heading for those giant rocks.

- We've got to go after him, diego.

- We'll get him.

We'll go through the swinging bamboo

And past the river caves,

And then we've got to stop him from crashing into those rocks.

- We'll get there in time, right, diego?

- Right.

Come on,amigos.

Let's go rescue baby orangutan.

- I can go faster if we swing from the trees, diego.

- Great idea.

Orangutans are really great at swinging through the trees.

Let's all swing through the trees like orangutans.

Put your arms way up high in the air like this and...

Swing your arms with me.

♪ Swing, swing, swing ♪

♪ Swing, swing, swing ♪

♪ Swing, swing, swing ♪

♪ Swing, swing, swing ♪

Great.

Now let's cheer for the orangutans.

Say: ♪ orangutan ♪

♪ Orangutan ♪

All: ♪ go, diego, go ♪

♪Vamos, diego, vamos ♪

♪Al rescate, amigos ♪

♪ To the rescue, my friends ♪

♪Al rescate, amigos ♪

- We made it to the swinging bamboo.

- Whoa, a lot of the rainforest trees have been cut down here.

It's too far to swing to that tree over there, diego,

But we've got to get baby orangutan.

- I know what we can do.

We can jump onto the bamboo to get across to the tree.

- Great idea.

- Let's help big sister orangutan jump.

When that bamboo moves close to her, say, "jump."

Jump.

Now it's my turn.

When the bamboo gets close to me, yell, "jump."

Jump.

Yay.

Now we're going to jump together.

When the bamboo comes close, yell, "jump."

Not yet.

- Not yet.

Both: now! Jump!

- We made it through the swinging bamboo.

Thanks for helping.

- [Grunting]

- That sounds like my brother.

I don't see him yet.

- If you see baby orangutan, say, "orangutan."

Both: orangutan!

- There he is.

- [Grunting]

- Look, the canoe is headed for that low tunnel.

- Baby orangutan, watch out.

- Watch out for the tunnel behind you.

He doesn't hear us.

- But we've got to warn him, diego.

If we don't warn him, he'll bonk his head.

I wish he could hear us.

- I've got an idea.

Baby orangutan loves to play follow the leader.

We can play follow the leader to show him he needs to...

Duck under the tunnel.

- That's a great idea, diego.

- First, wave your arms in the air

So baby orangutan can see us.

Put your arms in the air and wave your arms.

Wave your arms.

Wave your arms.

- He sees us. He sees us.

- Great.

Now let's get him to play follow the leader.

Duck your head to get the baby orangutan

To duck under the tunnel.

Duck your head.

Duck your head.

Duck your head.

- It worked. He's ducking his head.

- Good job.

He didn't bonk his head,

And he made it through the tunnel.

- But there's another tunnel.

- And it's lower.

We've got to keep playing.

Duck your head lower.

Duck your head.

- He ducked.

- And didn't bonk his head.

- All right.

He made it through the second tunnel.

Both: whoa. This tunnel's even lower.

- We've got to duck really, really, really low this time.

Both: duck lower, lower, lower.

- Baby orangutan didn't bonk his head.

Good job.

Come on.

Big sister orangutan, we've got to hurry.

- I'm not as fast running, diego.

I can get there faster if I somersault.

- Awesome.

Let's help big sister get to the tunnel fast

By yelling, "somersault."

Yell: ♪ "somersault" ♪

Again. ♪ Somersault ♪

Come on,amigos.

Let's give her a hand.

♪ She's fast in the trees, but she's slow on land ♪

♪ To get through the field, she can roll up in a ball ♪

♪ Come on, everyone, yell, "somersault" ♪

♪ Yell, "somersault" ♪

♪ Somersault ♪

♪ Come on, big sister ♪

♪ Roll up in a ball and somersault ♪

♪ Somersault ♪

♪ One more time now ♪

♪ Everyone yell, "somersault" ♪

♪ Somersault ♪

Yay!

- Look, diego, baby orangutan.

- He's headed down on the far river.

- I've got to get him.

I've got to get him.

- Big sister orangutan, wait.

That river is too...

Deep.

- I can't swim, diego. Help me.

- She's headed for that elephant.

We've got to save her.

We need something to zip me over the river to that tree

So I can save sister orangutan.

My rescue pack can turn into anything I need.

To activate my rescue pack, say,"activate."

Louder.activate.

All: ♪ yo, rescue pack ♪

- ♪ I'm rescue pack, comin' to the rescue ♪

All: ♪al rescate ♪

- ♪ Rescue pack, comin' to the rescue ♪

♪ I'm rescue pack ♪

♪ I got your back ♪

♪ I can turn into a parasail or a kayak ♪

♪ A zip cord, a snowboard, whatever ya need ♪

♪ We can do it ♪

♪ Nothing to it ♪

♪ I'm rescue pack, comin' to the rescue ♪

All: ♪al rescate ♪

- ♪ Rescue pack, comin' to the rescue ♪

♪ I'm rescue pack ♪

Yo. Rescue pack here.

Diego needs something he can use

To zip over the river to save sister orangutan.

Can roller skates zip diego over the river?

No.

Can a beach ball zip diego over the river?

Nope.

Can a zip cord zip diego over the river?

Yes, it can.

Now you tell diego he needs a zip cord.

- What do we need?

A zip cord.

Al rescate.

We've only got one chance.

We've got to reach out to her.

Orangutans have really long arms,

So we should be able to grab her.

Stretch out your arms to grab sister orangutan.

Stretch. Stretch. Stretch.

We got her.

Uh, oh.

The zip cord is slowing down.

- [Trumpeting]

Hop on, diego.

I'll give you a ride.

- Thank you, elephant.

- Yeah, thanks.

- We have to save my baby brother.

- He's on the other river.

Do you see him?

There he is.

- Hold on tight.

- Thanks, elephant.

- Thanks.

Look, there's my baby brother.

- Baby orangutan is moving fast toward those rocks.

- [Grunting]

- [Grunting]

- We've got to get him out of that canoe

Before it hits the rocks, diego.

- Maybe if I run really fast, I can catch up to him.

His boat's going too fast.

I don't know if I can make it.

- [Grunting]

- Diego, grab on.

- All right.

Orangutans are really strong.

Now we've got to rescue baby orangutan.

- Go, diego, go!

- Help me get baby orangutan to follow the leader.

Lift up your arms with me.

Lift up your arms.

Lift up your arms.

Lift up your arms.

We got him!

- Ready, diego?

- Ready.

- Hurray! You're safe, baby brother.

- [Grunting]

- I think baby orangutan is really, really happy

That we saved him.

- [Grunting]

- [Chuckling]

I think he's pretty hungry too.

Baby orangutan, are you hungry?

- [Grunting]

Both: oh, yeah, he's hungry.

- There's no fruit here, diego.

- You're right.

Too many of the fruit trees have been cut down

In this part of the forest.

- [Grunting]

- But back home, burgin planted lots of fruit trees for you.

- Oh yeah, that's right.

- Let's get you back home to your forest.

Do you see baby orangutan's mommy?

Si, alli esta.

- I'm home. I'm home.

- Baby orangutan's family is so happy to see him.

Good job, diego.

- Yum-yum. - [Chuckling]

It looks like baby orangutan found his favorite fruit.

All: [grunting]

Yay!

- Thank you for rescuing my baby brother, diego.

-De nada.

- [Grunting]

- [Chuckling]

Hurray.

We rescued baby orangutan

And brought him back home to his family.

♪ Orangutans ♪

- Come on, say it with us.

All: ♪ orangutans ♪

- ♪ Say it louder ♪

Both: ♪ orangutans ♪

- ♪ Everybody scream ♪

All: ♪ orangutans, yay ♪

- ♪ They have orange fur ♪

- ♪ And they're really super-smart ♪

- ♪ And we can swing through the branches ♪

♪ That are real far apart ♪

- Come on, let's swing through the trees like orangutans.

Put your hands in the air and swing.

♪ Swing, swing, swing, swing ♪

All: ♪ swing, swing, swing, swing, swing ♪

- ♪ They're good at follow the leader ♪

- ♪ That's what we love to play ♪

- And when we want to call them, we know what to say.

All: [grunting]

Both: say: [grunting]

- [Grunting]

- [Grunting]

All: [grunting]

[Grunting]

- [Grunting]

All: [grunting]

-Mision cumplida.

Adventure complete.

- You helped us rescue baby orangutan.

- You're great at helping animals.

What do orangutans do?

Both: let's review.

- Does an orangutan have orange fur or purple fur?

That's right.

They have orange fur that helps them hide in the trees.

- To move safely through the forest,

Does an orangutan swing through the trees

Or skip across the daisies?

Correcto, they swing through the trees.

- Does an orangutan eat jellyfish or fruit?

Yeah, it eats fruit.

- We've almost finished the puzzle.

- Did diego take the orangutans to a place with lots of fish

Or lots of fruit trees?

Right, to a home with lots of trees.

- Yay! We solved the puzzle, and look.

What's this a picture of?

Right, it's a picture of an orangutan.

Look, here's a picture of burgin and me planting trees

For the orangutans,

And there are good things we can do to help animals everyday.

- Like planting trees

And flowers in your neighborhood.

- Remember, we all share the same world

And we can all help take care of it--
