All: go, diego, go!

- ♪ Deep inside the jungle ♪

♪ Where nature's running wild ♪

♪ Coming to the rescue ♪

♪ Is a very special child ♪

♪ Talking to the animals ♪

♪ And swinging from a vine ♪

♪ This rough and tough adventurer ♪

♪ Is working all the time ♪

♪Ya viene, diego ♪

- ♪ Diego ♪

- ♪ Diego ♪

All: go, diego, go!

- ♪ Alicia's on the mission ♪

♪ We're all going for a ride ♪

♪ Diego's on the run ♪

♪ With baby jaguar by his side ♪

♪ Discovering together ♪

♪ Yeah, we're always having fun ♪

♪ Helping out each other ♪

♪ Is good for everyone ♪

♪ And there goes diego ♪

- ♪ Diego ♪

- ♪ Diego ♪

- Whee!

All: go, diego, go!

- Today we're going to the mountains of china,

Over here.

Hola, I'm diego.

- And I'm baby jaguar.

Mreow-mreow!

- We're in the mountains of china.

And we're looking for some very special animals.

They're really big...

- And really furry--

- And they're black and white.

What animals are these?

- Right, pandas, giant pandas.

- Yeah!

There used to be a lot of pandas on this mountain,

But most of them left.

- Because they couldn't find any food here,

Right, diego?

- Right, baby jaguar.

Giant pandas only eat bamboo,

And there's hardly any bamboo left

On this mountain.

- Rarrr, help me!

- Diego, that sounds like an animal in trouble.

- What animal is it?

Right, a panda.

He's a giant panda.

He's reaching for the last piece of bamboo

On the mountain.

- Whoa. I'm falling.

- We've got to tell the giant panda to hang on.

Say, "hang on, giant panda."

Louder!

Hang on, giant panda.

Whoa!

- He looks really heavy, diego.

- I need your help to pull the giant panda.

Are you strong?

Are you really strong?

Great. Help me pull the giant panda.

Put your hands out in front of you and...

Pull, pull, pull!

[Giggling]

You're safe now, giant panda.

I'm diego,

And we're animal rescuers.

-Ni hao, my name is pan pan.

[Chomping]

I was really hungry.

And this is the last piece of bamboo on the mountain.

- Don't worry, pan pan. We're here to help.

We've got a new home for you

Where there's lots of bamboo for you to eat.

- Really?

- Yeah, we're gonna take you to bamboo mountain.

- Ooh, I can't wait.

- My friend yang is waiting for us there.

He's a giant panda rescuer.

In china, they try to take very good care

Of all the pandas.

- That's because giant pandas only come from china.

- Let's call yang on my video watch

To let him know we're on our way.

[Electronic beeping]

-Ni hao, diego.

- Hi, yang. We found pan pan.

- Great job, diego.

But some other giant pandas are still missing.

- I bet the missing pandas are looking for bamboo.

But there isn't any left around here.

- They must be really hungry.

- Diego, you've got to find the pandas.

- Don't worry, yang.

We'll bring all the hungry pandas

With us to bamboo mountain.

- How are we going to find the pandas, diego?

- My panda tracker can find them.

My tracker is programmed in spanish.

In english we say, "find the pandas."

In spanish we say, "busca los pandas."

Can you say, "busca los pandas"?

Muy bien.

Say it with me: "busca los pandas."

- Oh, that's grandpa panda.

He's really nice.

We've got to help him, diego.

- He's in the snowy field looking for bamboo.

- Diego, we've got to see

If there are any more missing pandas.

- Say,"busca los pandas."

- Ooh, that's mommy and baby sister.

- They're at the tall trees.

- Ah-choo.

- Aww, baby panda has the sneezes.

To see if there are any more pandas,

Say,"busca los pandas."

- Those are the panda cub twins.

They're really funny.

- We can find them at the rocky caves.

That's all the missing pandas.

We've got to go to the snowy field,

The tall trees, and the rocky caves

To get them to their new home on bamboo mountain.

- But, diego, giant pandas are giant.

We're gonna need something really big

To carry all of them to their new home.

[Train whistle blows]

- We can take everyone in the giant panda express.

[Train whistle blows]

- Yay! - A train!

- Yipee! - We're going on a train ride.

- Here it comes.

- All aboard the giant panda express!

- Whoa.

You've got really sharp teeth, pan pan.

- That's so I can eat my favorite food.

What's my favorite food?

[Giggles]

Bamboo, right.

Uh-oh. Now I'm all out.

- We better get you to your new home quick,

Before you get hungry again.

- Yeah.

- Come on,amigos.

Let's chugga-chugga choo to bamboo mountain.

[Train whistle blows]

Can you say, "chugga-chugga choo?"

Great.

Can you say, "got to get bamboo?"

Awesome. Say it with us.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo ♪

♪ Got to get bamboo ♪

- Again.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo ♪

♪ Got to get bamboo ♪

- Faster.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo got to get bamboo ♪

- Even faster.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo ♪ got to get bamboo ♪

♪ A train, a train, we're gonna take a train ♪

♪ We'll take a train to bamboo mountain ♪

♪ Bamboo, bamboo ♪

- ♪ We pandas need bamboo ♪

All: ♪ there's lots of it on bamboo mountain ♪

♪ We'll pick up all our friends ♪

♪ And when the journey ends ♪

♪ We know we're gonna get, know we're gonna get ♪

♪ To bamboo mountain ♪

♪ Chugga-chugga choo, got to get bamboo ♪

[Train whistle blowing]

- First stop, the snowy field.

- Grandpa panda should be here.

- Grandpa panda, where are you?

- Let's look for him.

What color are giant pandas?

Right, their fur is black and white.

- Our white fur helps us hide in the white snow.

- My spotting scope will help us look

Through the snow for black-and-white fur.

Make a spotting scope with your hands

To look for grandpa panda.

Look, there's black and white fur.

Yeah! Great spotting!

- [Snoring]

- Grandpa panda's sleeping.

Giant pandas love to sleep.

We can sleep over half the day.

[Wind whistles]

Whoa. It's getting windy.

[Wind whistles]

- Uh-oh.

That falling snow

Is turning into a giant snowball.

- And it's headed straight for grandpa panda.

Grandpa panda, wake up.

- We've got to wake him up so he can get out of the way.

- Yeah.

Say, "wake up, giant panda."

Louder!

All: wake up, giant panda!

- [Grunts and yawns]

[Snowball swooshing]

Phew! Thanks for waking me up.

- Grandpa panda, are you okay?

- Oh, yeah, I'm okay.

Heh-heh. That was a close one.

I was nearly a panda snow bear.

[Laughter]

Who are your friends, pan pan?

- This is diego and baby jaguar.

They're animal rescuers,

And they're going to take us to our new home

On bamboo mountain.

- Ooh, I can't wait to get there.

I'm getting hungry.

- We found grandpa.

- Now we've got to find mommy and baby panda

In the tall trees.

- All aboard the giant panda express.

Let's find all the hungry pandas

So we can take them to their new home.

- So they can eat lots of...

Both: bamboo! Bamboo!

[Steam hissing]

- Second stop, the tall trees.

-Miren, there's mommy panda.

- Pan pan.

- Mommy!

- But where's baby panda, pan pan?

- I don't know.

Mommy, where's baby panda?

- She went looking for bamboo, and now I can't find her.

- We'll help you find her, mommy panda.

If you see baby panda, say, "baby panda."

- Ah-choo!

- Yeah, there she is.

Baby panda has a cold.

- Ah-choo!

- Mommy panda.

- We've got to get my baby down.

Pandas are really great at climbing,

But if I climb that thin little tree,

It'll break.

- I can climb up the tree for you.

Giant pandas use their super sharp claws to climb.

- But how are you going to climb, diego?

- My sharp panda gloves will help me climb up the tree.

Here, you can use some sharp panda gloves too.

Will you climb with me?

Excelente.

Put your hands in the air like this and...

Climb, climb, climb.

Climb, climb, climb.

- Ah-choo!

- Keep climbing with your panda claws.

Climb, climb, climb.

I've got you, baby panda.

- Thanks for saving me.

I was stuck.

- No problem, baby panda.

I'm diego, and we're animal rescuers.

We'll bring you down to your mommy.

- Mommy. Mommy.

- Hold on tight, baby panda.

- Okay.

- What were you doing up there?

- I was looking for bamboo, but I couldn't find any.

- Don't worry.

We're taking the giant panda express to our new home,

Where there's lots of...

All: bamboo.

- Yay, bamboo!

And yippee! We're going on a train ride.

A train ride.

- We found grandpa.

And we found mommy and baby panda.

Now we've got to find the panda twins.

- Let's go, diego. We're getting hungry.

- Come on, amigos.

Let's find the panda twins

So we can take all the hungry pandas to their new home...

- Where they can eat lots of...

All: bamboo! Bamboo!

[Train whistle blows]

- Say it with us.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo, got to get bamboo ♪

- Again.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo ♪

♪ Got to get bamboo ♪

- Faster.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo got to get bamboo ♪

- Even faster.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo ♪

♪ Got to get bamboo ♪

Yay!

- Third stop, the rocky caves.

- Look, there are the caves.

But where are the panda twins?

- Do you see the panda twins?

[Both giggling]

Si, alli estan.

Both: whee!

[Both giggling]

[Leopards growl]

- Uh-oh. Leopards.

Panda cubs are afraid of leopards.

- I can help, diego.

I can scare the leopards so they go away.

- Great idea.

We can all scare the leopards away

If we growl like giant pandas.

Put your arms up

And make yourself really, really big, like this.

Now open your mouths really big and get ready to growl.

Now growl with grandpa panda.

All: growl!

- Louder.

All: growl!

- Whew!

- Yay! You made the leopards go away.

You're great at growling like a giant panda.

- Nice job.

- Are they gone?

Both: don't worry, panda twins.

We scared them away.

Both: thank you.

And thank you, grandpa panda.

- That's okay.

But, panda twins, what were you doing

Around those leopard caves?

Both: we were looking for bamboo.

- But there's no bamboo left around here.

- Nope. No bamboo.

- Don't worry, panda twins.

Diego's taking us to our new home,

Where there's lots and lots of--

All: bamboo!

- Look, we found grandpa and mommy and baby panda.

- And now we found the panda twins.

- We found all the missing pandas.

Yay! So bamboo mountain is our next stop.

- Yipee! - Yipee!

- [Giggles]

Come on, amigos.

All aboard the giant panda express.

Let's take all the hungry pandas to their new home.

- Where they can eats lots of--

All: bamboo! Bamboo!

[Train whistle blows]

- Look! There's bamboo mountain.

- Almost there.

- Almost there.

- Can't wait. - Can't wait.

- I can't wait for bamboo. - Yummy bamboo.

- Ooh, yummy.

- Come on, amigos.

Let's get up the mountain.

Say it with us.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo, got to get bamboo ♪

- Again.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo, got to get bamboo ♪

- Faster.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo, got to get bamboo ♪

- Even faster.

All: ♪ chugga-chugga choo, got to get bamboo ♪

Yay!

- Last stop, bamboo mountain.

-Ni hao, diego.

Welcome to your new home, giant pandas.

We've planted lots of bamboo here,

And it's all for you.

All: bamboo! Whoa!

Both: is all that for us, diego?

- [Giggles]

Si, you can have all the bamboo you want.

All: yay!

We brought all the hungry pandas

To their new home on bamboo mountain.

- Mreow-mreow. Yay!

- Giant pandas.

- Say it with us.

Both: giant pandas!

- Say it louder.

Both: giant pandas!

- Everybody scream.

All: giant pandas! Yay!

- ♪ They've got sharp claws ♪

Just like me.

- Our claws help us climb up the tallest trees.

- Come on, put your panda claws out

And climb with the pandas.

Everyone climb, climb, climb.

Climb, climb, climb.

Climb, climb, climb.

- ♪ We really love to sleep ♪

- ♪ And we really love bamboo ♪

- To scare away the leopards--

- What do pandas do?

- Pandas growl.

- Come on, let's all growl like giant pandas.

Growl! Growl!

All: growl! Growl!

- Growl! Growl!

All: growl! Growl!

Yay!

- Yay! We brought all the hungry pandas

To their new home on bamboo mountain.

Mision cumplida.

- Adventure complete.

- Mmm.

- I love bamboo. - Yummy.

- Yum, yum, yum, yum. - Tasty.

[Chomping]

- Now they can eat lots and lots of...

All: bamboo! Bamboo!

[Laughter]

- What do giant pandas do?

- Let's review.

- Do pandas only live in the jungles of africa

Or the mountains of china?

Right, the mountains of china.

- Does a panda's white fur help it hide in green grass

Or in the snow?

Right, white fur helps it hide in the snow.

To eat bamboo, does a panda need sharp teeth

Or smooth teeth?

Yeah, it needs sharp teeth to eat bamboo.

- Hey, we've almost finished the puzzle.

- Did diego take the pandas to a home with lots of bamboo

Or lots of sunflowers?

Right, to a home with lots of bamboo,

Their favorite food.

- Yay. We solved the puzzle.

What is this a picture of?

Excelente!

A giant panda.

Here's a picture of me taking the giant pandas

To bamboo mountain,

Where there's lots of food for them to eat.

And there are good things we can do to help animals every day.

- Like, you and your friends can get together

To make a panda club.

The more you learn about pandas,

The more you can do to protect them.

- And we can all help take care of it...
