- ♪ Alicia's on the mission

♪ We're all going for a ride

♪ Diego's on the run

♪ With baby jaguar by his side

♪ Discovering together

♪ Yeah, we're always having fun ♪

♪ Helping out each other

♪ Is good for everyone

♪ And there goes diego

- Today we're going to the grasslands

Of south america,

Over here.

Hola. I'm diego.

And I'm at the animal rescue center,

Where we help animals that are lost or hurt.

A windy rainstorm blew through the rain forest,

And now we've got lots of animals that need our help.

Do you like helping animals?

Great!

Come on, let's go inside.

Mami's helping the emerald tree boa

That hurt his tummy.

- Hiss, hiss.

- And my sister alicia is taking care of the bump

On baby spectacled bear's nose.

- Growl! Growl!

- There's papi.

He's helping a quetzal that hurt her wing

Flying in the windy storm.

- Squawk! Squawk!

- Abuelita would rub the juice of this plant

On my scrapes and scratches when I was your age, diego.

- And we still use it today.

- Yow!

Ayudame!

- That sounds like an animal in trouble.

My special camera, click,

Can help us find the animal in trouble.

Say, "click."

- Say, "click."

Take a pic.

Hi, I'm click the camera.

We need to find the animal in trouble.

The animal in trouble sounds like this.

- Yow!

- Let's zoom through the forest

And listen for the animal that goes...

- Yow!

- Ummm! Ummm!

- Does that sound like the animal in trouble?

No. That's a llama.

- Yow!

- Does that sound like the animal in trouble?

Yes, it does.

What animal goes...

- Yow!

-Correcto! A cat.

That's a special kind of cat called a pampas cat.

Can you say, "pampas"?

Great!

Now, you tell diego

You found a pampas cat.

- What did you find?

A pampas cat.

To find out what's wrong,

We need to see more of the picture.

We can do that if click zooms out.

Say, "zoom."

The windy storm blew pampas cat into that prickly tree,

And now she's stuck.

Come on, amigos.

We've got to get to the grasslands

To rescue pampas cat from the prickly tree.

A rescate, amigos!

- ♪ Go, diego, go

- We made it to the grasslands.

Pampas cat should be nearby.

- Yow!

I'm stuck!

- Don't worry, pampas cat.

I'm diego, and we're animal rescuers.

We'll get you out of that prickly tree.

- Thanks, diego.

I really need to find my kittens.

- Let's tell pampas cat to reach out to us.

In spanish we say, "alcance."

Can you say,"alcance"?

Perfecto!

Say,"alcance."

Louder!

Alcance!

We got her!

Great spanish speaking.

- Thank you, diego.

Now I've got to find my kittens.

- We can help.

What happened to them?

- The windy storm blew my kittens into the river,

And I have to find them.

-No te preocupes.

We'll help you find your kittens, pampas cat.

[Electronic beeping]

Alicia, we're looking

For the pampas kittens.

The big storm carried them into the river,

And we need to find them quick.

Do you see the pampas kittens, alicia?

- I do, diego, and they're in trouble.

The kittens are in a log,

And it's headed for the waterfall.

- ♪ We're pampas kittens

♪ We love to play

♪ We love to laugh and jump and sing all day ♪

- My little kittens love to play.

They don't know that they're headed for a waterfall.

We've got to help them, diego.

- Come on, amigos.

- Diego, I need to let my kittens know that I'm coming,

But they're so far away.

- Let's call out to the pampas kittens

So they can hear us.

Say, "meow!"

Louder!

Meow!

- Meow!

-Excellente. They heard us.

Come on!

- [Sniffing]

Uh-oh, diego.

I smell a fox.

- Pampas cats are afraid of foxes.

When pampas cats are afraid,

They fluff up the hair on their back and tail

So they look bigger.

We all need to make ourselves look big

To scare away the fox.

Can you make yourself look big?

Great!

Really big?

Whoa!

Okay, so when you see the fox,

Put your hands up like this and look really, really big.

Ready?

Look, there's the fox.

Put your hands up and look big.

Put them up high.

He stopped.

It's working.

We've got to scare him away.

Put your hands up and look really, really, really big.

Hooray!

The fox ran away for good.

- You're great at fluffing up and looking big.

Uh-oh, diego.

The path is blocked.

- We have to go over those wobbly rocks

To get to the kittens.

- I'm really good at balancing.

See?

-Fantastico!

Pampas cats can use their tails to help them balance.

We need to balance like a pampas cat

To get back to the path on these wobbly rocks.

Can you crawl like a pampas cat?

Great.

Get down on your hands and knees, please.

Get down low.

Awesome!

Now get ready to get down low

To crawl and balance like a pampas cat.

♪ Get down low like a pampas cat ♪

- ♪ Wave your tail high in the air ♪

- ♪ We've got to crawl over the shaky rocks ♪

Both: ♪ to get to the other side over there ♪

- ♪ Now get down low

♪ And crawl real slow

- ♪ And always be ready

♪ To use your tail to keep steady ♪

- ♪ Crawl under the branches

♪ Crawl over the logs

- ♪ If all else fails

♪ Wave your tail

- ♪ Get down low like a pampas cat ♪

- ♪ Wave your tail high in the air ♪

- ♪ We've got to crawl over the shaky rocks ♪

Both: ♪ to get to the other side over there ♪

- Yay! We got to the other side.

And look. There's the path.

- You're great at acting like a pampas cat.

[Cats meowing]

My babies!

- We've got to call back to them.

Say, "meow!"

Louder!

[Together] meow!

[Cats meowing]

- Great job.

They heard us.

Look. A skunk.

Shh.

Skunks are afraid of pampas cats.

And we don't want to scare the skunk.

- Yeah, or he'll use his stinky spray.

What do we do, diego?

- I know.

Pampas cat can hide in one of those holes

Until the skunk goes away.

-Mira,diego.

I'll use my whiskers to feel which hole I fit into.

-Buena idea.

See?

Pampas cats have whiskers

As wide as their body.

If her whiskers touch the sides of the hole,

That means she can't fit inside and hide.

Her whiskers are touching the side of the hole.

Is the hole big enough for pampas cat?

So is the hole big enough for her to fit inside?

Yes!

The skunk is going by the first hole.

He still doesn't know pampas cat is around.

He's going to the second hole,

But he still doesn't see pampas cat.

Uh-oh.

He's going to the third hole.

Tell pampas cat to back up so the skunk doesn't see her.

Say, "back up."

Back up.

Does the skunk see pampas cat?

No, he's walking away.

It's safe to come out now.

Say, "come out, pampas cat."

-Gracias por ayudarme.

[Electronic beeping]

- Hey, that's my video watch.

It must be alicia.

- Diego, you have to hurry.

The kittens still don't know

That they're headed for the waterfall.

- ♪ We're pampas kittens

♪ We love to play

♪ We love to laugh and jump and sing all day ♪

- We're almost there, alicia.

- We've got to get to them quick, diego.

- Come on, amigos.

We've got to rescue the kittens.

- Before the log goes down the waterfall.

Wow, it's super foggy up here, diego.

[Cats meowing]

Diego, I can hear my kittens, but I can't see them.

- Don't worry, pampas cat.

We'll help you find them.

My anti-fog goggles can see through the thickest fog.

Make goggles with your hands to find the kittens.

Pampas cats have black rings around their legs and tail.

Let's look for an animal with black rings.

If you see black rings, say, "black rings."

Black rings.

Is that a pampas kitten?

No, that's a snake.

Remember, if you see black rings,

Say, "black rings."

Black rings.

Is that a pampas kitten?

Si, correcto.

You found the pampas kitten.

And the fog is going away.

- Meow!

- Thanks for finding my kittens.

- Those pampas kittens sure love to play.

- ♪ We're pampas kittens

♪ We love to play

♪ We love to laugh and jump and sing all day ♪

- Diego, we've got to get to them now.

- We need something to help us surf in the water

So we can rescue the pampas kittens.

My rescue pack can transform into anything we need.

To activate my rescue pack, say,"activate."

Louder!

Activate!

- Yo! Rescue pack here!

Diego needs something he can use to surf in the water.

I can turn into...

A bicycle...

A shovel...

Or a kite surfboard.

What can diego use to surf in the water:

A bicycle, a shovel, or a surfboard?

Correcto! A surfboard!

Now you tell diego he needs a surfboard.

- What do I need?

A surfboard. Right.

A kite surfboard. Cool.

- We're coming,gatitos!

- Meow!

- Whoa!

This waterfall is strong.

- They've got to jump.

- Help the pampas kittens jump onto my surfboard.

To get them to jump, we say, "salta, gatito."

Say,"salta, gatito."

Again!

Say,"salta, gatito."

Uh-oh, the third kitten must be behind the rock.

Hurry. Say it with me.

Salta, gatito!

We got all the kittens.

- Hooray!

You helped my kittens jump.

- Let's get you back to the rescue center

To make sure you're all okay.

Kittens: wee!

- We've got to open the top of my mobile rescue unit.

Say,"abre."

Abre.

- You made it, diego.

-Hola,pampas cats.

-Hola. - Hola.

- Meow. - Purr.

Purr, purr.

- We're so happy to see all of you.

- Purr, purr, purr.

- The pampas kittens are just fine.

-Fantastico!

- We've helped all of the animals

That were hurt during the storm.

- Come on, everyone.

Now we can fix the rescue center.

- Can we help you, diego?

- Sure, you can.

All: we want to help too.

Queremos ayudar.

- All the animals are helping us.

- Even the bobo brothers are helping.

- And look, diego.

We can use our big paws and sharp claws

To clean up these branches.

- The rescue center is as good as new.

- Thanks to all our animals friends.

[Together] gracias.

[Together] de nada.

- Hooray!

We rescued the pampas cat and her kittens.

Pampas cats!

- Come on. Say it with us.

[Together] pampas cats!

- Say it louder!

- Pampas cats!

- Everybody scream!

[Together] pampas cats!

Yay!

- ♪ Their whiskers are long

- ♪ Can't you see

- ♪ And they dig with their paws ♪

- ♪ Come on and dig with me

- Put your hand out in front of you

And get ready to dig.

[Together] dig, dig.

Dig, dig, dig.

Dig, dig.

Dig, dig, dig.

- ♪ She can fluff up her fur

♪ Just look at her now

- ♪ And when my kittens want their mommy ♪

♪ They say, "meow"

- Say, "meow!"

[Together] meow!

- Meow.

- Meow!

Meow!

- Meow!

Mision completa.

- Adventure complete.

- Yay!

We helped the pampas cat find her kittens.

- You're great at helping animals.

- What does a pampas cat do?

- Let's review.

Or in the grasslands?

Correcto.

The grasslands,

Because pampas cats stay safe by hiding in the grass.

To look big, does a pampas cat fluff up

Or scratch its head?

Right, it fluffs up to scare away animals.

- Does a pampas cat have whiskers or a beak?

Excellente.

It has whiskers.

We've almost finished the puzzle.

To help the pampas cat,

Did diego take her kittens to the swimming pool

Or to the rescue center?

- Yay, we solved the puzzle!

Correcto!

It's a pampas cat.

Here's a picture of my family.

We're making sure the pampas cats are okay

After the storm.

And there are good things we can do

To help animals every day.

- Like collecting rainwater during a storm

And using it to water our plants and flowers.
