♪ Let's think it through

- [Blue barks] - ♪♪

- Oh, hi. - [Blue speaking]

- You came to the right address

because today we're playing mail carriers.

We're delivering the mail just like Mailbox.

- [Blue speaking]

- Hey, would you like to be a mail carrier with us?

- [Blue speaking]

- Great! Check this out. Come on.

- [Blue speaking]

- See, we made our own post office.

Now, all we need is a letter to deliver.

- [Blue speaking]

- A letter.

Thanks, Blue. - [Blue speaking]

- Aww, look what Blue drew.

Okay, let's seal it back up and see where it's going.

Ah, it has everything a letter needs.

A stamp in this corner.

The post office won't deliver it without a stamp.

It says who the letter is from in the other corner.

This one's from Blue.

And it says who the letter is for and where it goes

right in the middle of the envelope.

That's called the address.

Ah-ha, and it looks like this letter is addressed to you.

So, here you go.

One letter delivered.

- MAILBOX: ♪ Mail time, mail time ♪

♪ Mail time, mail time

♪ Mail time - Whoa, the mail's here already?

Come on.

♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me want to wag my tail ♪

♪ When it comes, I wanna wail ♪

- [Blue speaking]

- Hey, Mailbox. You're really early today.

- Hi, Josh and Blue. - [Blue speaking]

- I have an extra super special letter to deliver today.

But I can't deliver it.

- Can't deliver it? - [Blue speaking]

- Why? - Take a look.

See, the address got smudged.

Now I can't tell who it's for or where it goes.

- [Blue speaking]

- It's a real mystery.

- A mystery letter. Well, don't worry, Mailbox.

We'll help you find out who this letter is for.

- [Blue speaking] - Aww, thank you, mail carriers.

Carry on. - [Blue speaking]

- Ooo, I wonder who this mystery letter is for.

- [Blue speaking]

- We'll play Blue's Clues to figure out

who this mystery letter is for.

♪ We're gonna play Blue's Clues ♪

♪ 'Cause it's a really great game ♪

Yes. Now remember, Blue's paw print will be on the clues.

Oh, right the paw print.

Ah-ha.

Wow, Express Mail.

Hey! You know what we need for Blue's Clues?

Our handy dandy--

- CHILD: Notebook. - Notebook, right.

- Blue's Clues. I'm so excited.

Special delivery.

- What is this?

A package for me.

- Yeah, open it.

- Okay.

You know, this is exactly what I needed.

Thanks, Side Table. - You're welcome.

- You know, I can tell I'm really gonna

need your help today

figuring out who the mystery letter is for.

Will you help me?

Terrific!

To play Blue's Clues we gotta find a, oh...

- KIDS: Paw print. - Right, a paw print.

'Cause that's our first...

- KIDS: Clue. - Yeah, a clue.

And we put it in our...

- KIDS: Notebook.

- ♪ Put it in our notebook

♪ 'Cause they're whose clues?

♪ Blue's clues - KIDS: Blue's clues!

- ♪ We gotta find another paw print ♪

♪ 'Cause that's the second clue ♪

♪ Put it in our notebook

♪ 'Cause they're whose clues?

♪ Blue's clues - KIDS: Blue's clues!

- ♪ We gotta find the last paw print ♪

♪ That's the third clue

♪ Put it in our notebook

♪ 'Cause they're whose clues?

♪ Blue's clues - KIDS: Blue's clues!

- You know what to do!

♪ Sit down in our thinking chair ♪

♪ And think, think, think

♪ 'Cause when you use your mind ♪

♪ Take a step at a time

♪ You can do anything

♪ That you wanna do

Alright, mail carriers. Let's go find some clues.

- ♪ We're looking for Blue's clues ♪

♪ I wonder where they are

- KIDS: A clue, a clue. - Oh, yeah.

We are mail carriers, tried and true.

- CHILD: [laughs] No, a clue.

- Oh, a clue.

Where?

- CHILD: There, on the flag.

- There it is!

Oh, our first clue is a flag.

Hey, we need to put this clue in our handy dandy...

- KIDS: Notebook. - Notebook, right.

Okay, so, a flag.

We'll draw a line for the flagpole

and a rectangle for the flag.

There, a flag.

Hmm, so, who could the mystery letter be for

with a flag?

Oh, good thinking.

But I think we should find two more clues just to be sure.

- MR. SALT: Postal emergency in the kitchen.

- Whoa, let's go.

- [Blue speaking]

- Hi, Mr. Salt.

- Oh, Josh, you're just in time.

I'm baking a very special cake.

But I need Mrs. Pepper to help me right away.

Can you deliver a letter to her in the front yard?

- Oh, of course we can.

We can, right?

Of course we can!

- [Blue speaking]

- Aww, merci, I hoped I addressed it correctly.

- [Blue speaking]

- Oh, it looks like something is missing from this letter,

but I can't tell what.

What's missing from Mr. Salt's letter?

- CHILD: A stamp.

- Oh, yeah! A stamp in this corner.

Can't deliver it without a stamp.

- [Blue speaking]

- Ooo, thank you postal people.

I need it delivered right away.

- No, problem Mr. Salt.

We'll deliver this letter, lickety split.

- [Blue speaking]

Sing it loud, mail carriers!

- JOSH, KIDS, & BLUE: ♪ Mail

- [Blue speaking]

- Oh.

Here you go. - [Blue speaking]

- Ooo, thank you, mail carriers.

That reminds me.

I have a letter that needs to be delivered, too.

- Hmm, there looks like something's missing here.

What's missing from her letter?

- CHILD: Who it's for.

- CHILD : The address.

- Yeah!

You need to put who it's for and where it goes in the center.

- [Blue speaking]

- Oh, of course! Silly me.

It's for Slippery Soap.

He's in the bathroom.

But he needs to meet us in the living room very soon.

- Don't worry, Mrs. Pepper. We'll deliver it lickety split.

- [Blue speaking]

- Merci.

- ♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me want to wag my tail ♪

♪ When it comes, I wanna wail ♪

- JOSH, KIDS & BLUE: ♪ Mail

- [Blue speaking]

- For you, Slippery. - [Blue speaking]

- Thanks. I've got a letter to deliver too.

- Really?

- It's for Shovel and Pail in the art nook.

I need to remind them to draw something very special today.

Whoa!

Here you go.

- Wait, I think this letter is missing some things.

Oh, what goes in this corner?

- CHILD: A stamp.

- A stamp! Exactly!

Can't deliver it without a stamp.

- [Blue speaking]

- Oh, and the other corner should say?

- CHILD: Who it's from?

- Yeah.

It should say who it's from. - [Blue speaking]

- Oh, right. Thanks.

Whoa!

Can you get it to them right away?

- We'll deliver it lickety split.

- [Blue speaking]

- Oh, come on. - Thanks.

- ♪ Here's the mail, it never fails ♪

♪ It makes me want to wag my tail ♪

♪ When it comes, I wanna wail ♪

- KIDS, JOSH & BLUE: ♪ Mail

- Thanks, mail carriers.

I hope it wasn't too much trouble.

- No trouble at all.

- [Blue speaking]

- Coming, Blue! Bye. Come on.

- Bye. - Bye.

- KIDS: A clue, a clue.

- Yeah, phew is right.

Being a mail carrier is tiring.

- CHILD: [laughing] No, a clue.

- Oh, a clue! Where?

Hmm, I don't see a...

[gasps] Here it is!

Our second clue is on that splotch of purple.

Hey, we need to put this clue in our handy dandy...

- KIDS: Notebook. - Notebook, right.

Okay. Alright. Ahem.

So, oh, I think we'll use our purple crayon

for this purple clue.

We'll draw a squiggly line and then fill it in

with the color purple.

There, the color purple.

So, oh, what was our first clue again?

- CHILD: A flag.

- A flag, right!

And now our second clue is purple.

So, who could the mystery letter be for

with a flag and the color purple?

[gasps] Interesting.

But let's find our last clue just to be sure.

- Help, I fell off.

- What was that! Come on.

- [Blue speaking]

- Whoa, Blue just skidooded into the post office!

Come on!

♪ Blue skidoo, we can too

- [Blue speaking]

- Whoa!

This must be where the mail is sorted and sent off

to where it needs to go.

- [Blue speaking]

- Excuse me? - [Blue speaking]

- Can you please help me? - [Blue speaking]

- What's the matter little postcard?

- I fell off the sorting machine.

And I don't know where I'm supposed to be delivered to.

- Oh, no.

Can we help this little postcard get delivered?

Great!

We'll help you get to the right place.

- Oh, thank you! I fell off over there.

- [Blue speaking] - Let's go.

Now, I don't know which way to go.

- Oh, well, let's see how you're addressed.

A and a tall building. - Uh-huh.

And this stamp means I'm air mail.

- [Blue speaking] - Ooo.

Okay, if the little postcard is air mail,

should she be delivered by airplane, truck or ship?

- CHILD: That one. - KIDS: Airplane.

- [Blue speaking] - Yeah.

Here you go. - [Blue speaking]

- To the air mail section.

- [Blue speaking] - Come on.

- [Blue speaking] - Gotcha.

- [Blue speaking] - Thanks.

- [Blue speaking]

- Now, I need to figure out where I'm going by airplane.

- [Blue speaking]

- Well, let's see.

Looks like you should be delivered to a tall building.

Hmm, which one of these places

should she be delivered to?

The island?

The city?

Or the farm?

- CHILD: That one. The city.

- [gasps] Yeah!

Cities have lots of tall buildings.

- [Blue speaking]

- Off you go.

- Going to a city.

Just one more thing to do.

- [Blue speaking]

- You are city bound.

- Yep.

But how do I get to the right building?

- Ah, well, these slides deliver to different building numbers.

Let's look at your address again.

- Hmm, which one do you think will deliver her

to the right building?

- CHILD: That one!

The one that goes to .

- [gasps] Yeah.

She's addressed to building .

So, she goes on this slide. - [Blue speaking]

- Weee!

Oh boy, I'm being delivered.

Thanks so much for helping me.

- Have fun! - [Blue speaking]

- Now, she'll travel on an airplane and go to the city.

And a mail carrier will deliver her to--oh, someone's calling.

It's Rainbow Puppy.

- ♪ I just got a postcard

♪ I just got a postcard

♪ I just got a postcard

♪ I sure love getting mail

Hey, it's from my friend Periwinkle.

Thanks. Ta-ta.

- Ta-ta.

Wow, Rainbow Puppy.

- [Blue speaking]

- Oh, come on.

I am so happy that little postcard finally got delivered.

Woo.

- CHILD: A clue, a clue.

- Yeah, to building number .

- CHILD: No, a clue.

- Oh, uh, [gasps] there it is.

And it's on that, no.

- CHILD: Box. - Box, yes.

Hey, you know what we need now?

Our handy, dandy--

- KIDS: Notebook. - Notebook, right.

Alright, and there.

So, a box.

We'll draw a rectangle and then some lines

for the top and the sides.

There, a box.

We have all three clues.

We're ready to sit in our--

- CHILD: Thinking chair! - Thinking chair. Come on!

- [Blue speaking]

- Okay, now that we're in our thinking chair,

let's think.

So, we need to figure out who the mystery letter is for.

And our clues are, ahem, a flag,

the color purple and a box.

So, who could the mystery letter be for

with a flag, the color purple and a box?

Oh, maybe, maybe the mystery letter

is for a purple flag stuck in a box.

- KID: No!

- [Blue speaking]

- No, okay.

Well, hmm, who could the mystery letter be for?

Unless... [gasps]

What if the box was purple and had a flag?

Who do we know who is a purple box with a flag?

- KIDS: Mailbox.

- Mailbox. - [Blue speaking]

- [gasp]

The mystery letter is for Mailbox!

We just figured out Blue's Clues!

- [Blue speaking] - Let's deliver

this mystery letter to mailbox.

I sure hope you figured out who the mystery letter is for.

- We sure have.

The mystery letter is for Mailbox.

- [gasps] For me?

- [Blue speaking]

- It's a letter from your friends.

- [Blue speaking]

♪ He's always there in our front yard ♪

♪ He's a postal superstar

♪ He makes us laugh so very hard ♪
