I'm Hubba Hubba, talking

to you from Hoobland.

And I'm about to send

four of my favorite Hoobs,

down to Earth to find

out all about you

for my great Hoobopedia.

Here they come!

(Hoob poofs)

(intergalactic music)

♪ You know who the Hoobs are ♪

♪ Iver, Groove, and

Tula, were Hoobs ♪

♪ And their ready to go ♪

♪ Now the wheels are turning ♪

♪ We can all get learning ♪

♪ All the things

we want to know ♪

♪ Hubba Hubba's in Hoobland ♪

♪ And Roma's

somewhere far away ♪

♪ Ooh, ooh, ooh ♪

♪ The Motorettes are singing ♪

♪ We keep the engine spinning ♪

♪ Hoob Hoob hooray ♪

♪ The Hoobmobile is

coming your way ♪

♪ The Hoobs are here

so what do you say ♪

♪ Hoobs ♪

(children music)

- There. Look bird.

(mumbles)

(sneezes)

- Nearly spilled my

Hoob juice all over you.

Sip?

- Uh no thanks, you

hold on to it. Right?

Look, I've made Hooby

holders to keep things in.

- Oh! Now we won't have to

worry about losing stuff.

I mean how Hooby groovy is that.

(drink spills)

(gasps)

(fast talking)

(yelling)

- Ah! Ow!

- Are you all right Iver?

- Yes I'm fine.

Oh no I'm not, my Hooby paws

are all wet with Hoob juice!

Oh! You're always spilling

your Hoob juice, Groove!

Why can't you be more careful?

- Oh! I'm sorry Iver.

I'm gonna get you something

to make you feel better.

- Aw Iver.

- Guck! I hate getting

my Hooby paws wet.

And not only that, we

don't have a question

for today's Hoob news!

- Here you go Iver,

a nice cool cup of.

(yells)

- You've done it again Groove!

I need to dry off my

Hooby paws quickly.

- But--

How?

♪ How, how, how ♪

♪ How, how, how, how, how ♪

♪ How ♪

- Oh!

- Well, you could try

bouncing up and down.

That's a good way to

dry your Hooby paws.

(bouncing)

- Oh Tula, I don't know.

You know, I think this

might take forever.

(bouncing)

Groove why did you have to

go and spill Hoob juice?

- Well, sometimes the juice

just gets loose, Iver.

- You know what you need?

- You need something to

keep your Hooby paws dry,

when Groove spills his Hoob

juice in the Hoobmobile.

- Hm? What does Iver need

to keep his Hooby paws dry?

- [Spaceship] Hubba, Hubba.

- [Tula] Its Hubba Hubba!

- What does Iver need to

keep his Hooby paws dry?

That's a very good question,

just the sort of thing

Hoobs need to know!

- Too right Hubba Hubba!

- I'll see what I can

find out on Hoob net

to start you off. All right.

Yeah, here we go!

(poofs)

- [Hubba Hubba] Now, there

is some Tiddlypeeps running,

I wonder what they're

wearing on their feet?

Oh I see! Tula, I think you've

made your Hooby holders,

out of peeps running shoes!

(laughing)

Well, they seem to

help you run very fast,

but would they keep

your Hooby paws dry?

Or they seem to

help you jump too!

I'd like to get

a pair like that.

(Hoob language)

(poofs)

- Certain peeps wear Hooby

holders like yours Tula,

when they want to run.

- [Everyone] Weird!

(laughs)

- Okay, none of the peeps

were wearing Hooby holders

in a puddle of Hoob

juice were they?

So, if I wore a Hooby holder,

would it keep my Hooby paws dry?

- There's only one

way to find out.

- Hm?

- Try it.

- What stand in the

puddle you mean?

- Well, of course!

If you don't get in the puddle,

how will we know

if the Hooby holder

will keep your Hooby paws dry?

- Oh, right!

(grunts)

(laughs)

There we are.

Here goes.

(clears throat)

(children's music)

- Well,

- So far, so good.

So far, so good.

So far, so--

(whines)

It's soaking through,

it's soaking through!

(heavy breathing)

- Oh.

Aw! Tula, oh!

Now my Hooby paws is wet again!

- Hm, which means

the Hooby holder,

lets in the Hoob juice.

But why?

♪ Why, why, why, why, why ♪

- I know why! Cause

if you look closely,

you'll see it has

little holes in it.

That's why.

(bounces)

- [Spaceship] Hubba Hubba!

- Don't worry Iver, look.

I found a story that I

think might have the answer.

- Well I do hope so Hubba Hubba.

(bounces)

(poofs)

- [Narrator] There once

lived a sad old man,

called Mr. Cramp.

Now, Mr. Cramp had on

the same pair of shoes,

for years and years.

They had more holes in

them than he could count.

Every time he looked at them,

he felt even sadder than usual.

- Its time I got some new shoes.

- He said.

The shoemaker, brought him

some strong leather boots.

Mr. Cramp tried them on,

he walked up the street,

then he walked back down.

- Ouch!

These boots are too stiff,

they hurt my feet!

- So the shoemaker went away,

and came back with a pair

of pink and green sandals.

Mr. Cramp tried them on.

He walked up the street,

then he walked back down.

- Brr!

- He said shivering.

- I love the color, but

they're ever so drafty.

My feet will freeze.

- So the shoemaker went away

and came back with a pair

of huge fluffy slippers.

That looked just

like monsters feet.

- They look just

like monsters feet.

- Cried Mr. Cramp

as he put them on.

He walked up the street,

then he walked back down.

- Oh! These are perfect!

They're lovely and soft,

and they keep my feet

as warm as can be.

Yippie!

- Mr. Cramp skipped up the

street with his new shoes.

When he sat in his chair

that night by the fire,

he looked down at

his monster feet.

And smiled.

Not only were his new

shoes comfy and cozy,

but they also cheered him up.

From that day on, he

was never sad again.

(poofs)

- Wow! I loved those big,

fluffly, furry monster slippers.

They looked fantabby Hooby.

- They kept out the cold,

but will they keep out the wet?

- Well, there's only one

way to find out that, Tula.

Try them in the puddle test.

Look,

(laughs)

I found this in my collection

of fluffy and furry things.

- Oh really.

- Yeah, come on over.

Try it.

- Hurry up Iver, get

in the Hoob juice.

- Whoops! Right,

yes! Here we go.

I'm getting into the puddle.

- Now.

(childrens music)

- Well my Hooby paws

aren't getting wet yet.

- [Iver] I think these slippers

might be just what I need

to, to.

(yells)

Oh they are soaking

through, there,

its soaking through.

(whines)

- [Spaceship] Hubba Hubba!

- [Iver] We've tried

Hooby holders and

slippers Hubba Hubba,

but nothing keeps

my Hooby paws dry.

- Hm.

Peeps run in Hooby holders

and as far as I can tell

they only wear slippers indoors.

I've got an idea though.

What about talking

to the Tiddlypeeps.

- Oh gracious

thought Hubba Hubba.

- I'll drive.

- And I'll bounce, and I'll be

dry by the time we get there.

- And I'll um, I'll um.

I'll check for the puddle,

that's what I'll do.

- Seatbelt,

- [Hoobs] We're off to

see the Tiddlypeeps!

(magical music)

- Oh hello Tiddlypeeps!

- [Tiddlypeeps] Oh it's Iver!

Hello Iver!

- Would you like to

do a Hooby hello?

- [Tiddlypeeps] Yes!

- [Iver] All together then!

- [Everyone] Hoobledoo,

Hoobledoo, woo, woo, woo

(laughs)

- I'm so glad I found you,

because I need to know

about what to wear,

on my Hooby paws.

- [Tiddlypeeps] Shoes!

- Shoes? Let me see.

- Look at those!

- They look like Hooby holders,

- [Groove] We tried that.

(shoes tapping)

(laughs)

(giggles)

- Ooh.

- Well now, the question is,

which shoes would be

the right shoes for me

to wear on my Hooby paws?

- Can I see your shoes please?

- Oh! They're Hoobacious,

what are they called?

- They're called sandals.

- Sandals

- They're very neat.

(laughs)

- Groove, Groove,

Groove, Groove ,

Groove, Groove, Groove.

- Do you think

they're very neat?

(overlapping speech)

- They wouldn't keep my

feet dry though would they?

Well, no, no, no.

(gasps)

Wait a minute, what about

the black ones here?

- Do you like them?

- I certainly do!

I think I'd like to

try a pair like that.

Tula, Groove would you

order me some of those shoes

on the Hoob net?

I want to try them out!

- Mmhm.

- You think they'll

keep my Hooby paws dry?

- They might, it's worth a try.

(Hoob language)

- Thank you all very,

very, very, very much.

But I must be getting along now,

because I have to test,

my new, slipper, shoes.

(laughs)

- Hooble toodle doo!

- [Tiddlypeeps]

Hooble toodle doo!

(laughs)

(childrens music)

- Wow! These are

Hooby groovy Tula.

- [Iver] Hoobledoo!

- Here comes Iver.

- Hey, Iver. Are these

Hooby groovy or what?

- Oh perfect.

But are they what I need

to keep my Hooby paws dry?

- We'll soon find out.

Now, for the puddle test.

- Oh yes, the um, puddle, test.

Yes, eh, yes.

- Oh come on Iver, come on,

just get in the puddle,

it'll work this time.

(coughs)

I hope.

- Aw, just jump

in the juice Iver.

- Yeah come on.

- Oh.

(laughing)

(juice splashes)

- All right, come on

move it back, step in it.

(juice splashes)

- Did it work?

- Ugh, no!

It soaked through

into the shoes again!

(groans)

Now my feet are

wetter than ever!

♪ Walking through

the Hoobmobile ♪

♪ is like wading

through the sea ♪

♪ When Groove had a

spillage on the floor ♪

♪ Paddling through a puddle ♪

♪ Is not the thing for me ♪

♪ 'Cause I end up with

a soaking Hooby paw ♪

♪ There must be a pair of shoes

to stop from getting wet ♪

♪ We'll soon all sing ♪

♪ In a pool of drink ♪

♪ 'Cause we haven't found

the right shoes yet ♪

♪ We don't like having

soggy Hooby feet ♪

♪ We need to keep

the Hoob juice out ♪

tried have failed the test ♪

- Maybe there isn't

anything I can wear

to keep my Hooby paws dry.

- [Spaceship] Roma, Roma, Roma.

- [Tula] Here comes Roma!

Hoobledoo Roma!

- Hoobledoo Hoobs.

Now, as you can

see, I'm by the sea.

- [Hoobs] Careful you

don't get wet Roma!

- Oh don't worry, I'm wearing

this Hoobledooble duper

diving suit, which

doesn't let the water in.

- [Hoobs] Why?

- Because the suit is

made out of rubber,

which is very good for

keeping out the water.

- Hooby groovy!

- But what I'm really

here to talk about

are the Hoobacious

rubber shoes that peeps

sometimes wear in the water.

- What are they called Roma?

- They're called flippers!

As you know, unlike

Hoobs many peeps

actually like to move and

play around in the water.

Now, I set the Hooby cam

under water with some peeps,

so we can see how

these flippers work.

And here they are, the big,

rubbery, flapped wide shoes

help push the peeps

through the water.

Ugh, this is Roma Hoob, signing

off to try out her flippers.

Hoobletoodle doo!

(grunts)

(laughing)

- [Hoobs] Hoob Hoob hooray!

- If the peeps use

flippers in water,

they must keep their feet dry.

- [Spaceship] Hubba Hubba!

- Hubba Hubba, we think

we've found the answer.

Flippers!

Flippers will keep

my Hooby paws dry

when I step in the

puddle of Hoob juice.

- Yeah, but how are

we gonna test it out

we don't have any flippers.

- Well that's no problem,

I'll just order some up

for you off the Hoob net.

Back soon!

(poof)

- Oh, but its nearly

time for Hoob news.

- Don't worry Iver, the

flippers will arrive.

- But when?

♪ Oh when oh when oh when ♪

- They're here, they're here.

- Hooby groovy, I

said they'd be here

in a shake of a twizzle top.

- Quick, try them on Iver,

and then get back in the

juice there's good Hoob.

- Oh yes, yes!

You know, I think,

I think we've got it this time.

There, right.

Oh dear.

(laughing)

(clears throat)

There.

(Yells)

No! They don't have

a back on them!

Ah, the heels all wet!

Oh, oh!

The rest of my

Hooby paw is fine.

They've been covered

by the rubber flipper.

Its dry!

(gasps)

- Yeah, that's good!

That's really good Iver!

- Now that we know the

rubber keeps Hoob juice out.

All we have to do is find

a shoe made of rubber

that has back to it.

- Ah, I don't know

where we should look.

- Lets ask Hubba Hubba.

(bouncing)

[Spaceship] Hubba Hubba!

- Hubba Hubba, is

there a such a thing

as a shoe made of rubber?

- Hm. I'm not sure.

Why don't you ask

the Tiddlypeeps?

They'll know.

- Brilliant idea Hubba Hubba!

(bouncing)

I'll drive again.

- And I'll bounce.

- And I'll stay here

and look after the,

puddle, puddle, stay.

(magical music)

- [Tiddlypeeps] Up here Iver!

- Oh hello there Hoobledoo.

- Hoobledoo!

- Hoobledoo again Iver.

- Actually I'm so

glad I found you

because I need to

ask you a question.

Um, do you know what these are?

- Yes, there flippers.

- I thought as much, you see.

I got my Hooby paws

all wet in a puddle.

Groove spilled Hoob

juice in the Hoobmobile.

So I need a pair of shoes

that'll keep my Hooby paws dry

- Flippers won't help

they don't have a back.

- That's what I've

discovered you see,

when I wore them though,

the rest of my Hooby

paws stayed nice and dry

just my Hooby heel that got wet.

So, I was wondering,

are there any other

shoes made of rubber

like the flippers.

But which have a back on them.

- Yes, rubber boots.

Like these on my teddy.

- Oh Hoobacious, what are they?

- They're boots

made out of rubber.

We sometimes call them

Wellington boots or Wellings.

Here Iver, you can have them.

- Oh, how kind.

- Oh, I can!

You Tiddlypeeps,

you're so helpful.

Hoobletoodle doo!

(thud)

- Iver! Are you all right?

- [Tiddlypeeps]

Hoobletoodle doo!

(overlapping speech)

(childrens music)

(humming)

- I've decorated the Hooby

studio, its all for good use.

- And I've just tidied up

the Hooby holder again.

- And I've got the

rubber boots, look!

(gasps)

- Wow, if the Tiddlypeeps

wear them to stay dry,

then they must work.

- Have a look!

- Oh yeah, they're made

of rubber all right.

And they go much higher

than the flipper feet.

(laughing)

- I think we just

need to test them out.

- Yeah.

- Oh no!

- What is it?

- The puddle is gone!

(sad music)

- Oh, that is too bad.

- Well is must've dried up.

Groove! You were meant to

be looking after the puddle.

- Oh I'm sorry, I was

decorating the Hooby studio.

Iver, Iver don't panic.

- Don't, don't,

don't, don't, panic.

I've got a Hoob news

to do in two seconds,

and we don't have

a Hoob juice puddle

to test the boots in!

He tells me not to panic.

- Yes Groove, how are we

going to test them out

without a puddle? How?

♪ How, how, how, ♪

♪ How, how, how, how, how ♪

♪ How, how, how ♪

- I'll put them on anyway, there

(grunts)

Tula!

- Groove to the rescue.

Here's how Iver.

- Hm?

What are you doing?

No, Groove, Groove, no!

- Well.

- These boots keep my

Hooby paws completely dry.

- [Hoobs] Hoob Hoob hooray!

- And just in time

for Hoob news.

Quick! Into the Hooby studio.

♪ Cobbler, cobbler

mend my shoe ♪

♪ Get it done by half past two ♪

♪ Half past two

is much too late ♪

♪ Get it done by

♪ Then I'll give

- We're ready!

Hoobledoo boop to all

you Hoobs out there.

Welcome to Hoob news.

The news show for

Hoobs everywhere.

I'm Iver.

- I'm Tula.

- And I'm Groove.

- And today we've been

asking the question.

- How can Iver keep

his Hooby paws dry?

- It all started

when I accidentally,

spilled my Hoob

juice on the floor.

And Iver accidentally

stepped in it.

- Iver was not happy about

getting his Hooby paws wet.

- [Groove] So we set out

to find what peeps wear

to stop their feet getting wet.

- [Tula] First, we

discovered that peeps

actually wear Hooby

holders on their feet

when they run.

- [Iver] So we

decided to test them,

to see if they kept

out the Hoob juice.

But they didn't work.

Because they had

little holes in them.

- [Tula] Next, we

tried fluffy slippers.

- [Iver] But they didn't work

because the fur soaked

up the Hoob juice.

- [Groove] So we

asked the Tiddlypeeps,

and found out that

there are all sorts

of different kinds of shoes.

- [Iver] I wanted to see,

if the black ones

would keep my paws dry.

But once again, they

let in the Hoob juice.

- [Groove] Then Roma told us,

that peeps wear shoes

called rubber flippers

in the water.

- [Tula] So Iver

tested the flippers,

but they didn't work,

because they didn't

have a back on them.

- [Tula] But they did keep

the rest of Iver's paws dry

because they were

made from rubber.

Rubber keeps the Hoob juice out.

- [Iver] So then we decided,

we needed some shoes

made of rubber.

- [Groove] So we went

to ask the Tiddlypeeps.

- [Tula] And we found

out, that when its wet,

Tiddlypeeps have

special rubber boots.

- And here they are.

- [Hoobs] Wellies.

- So it's thanks once again,

to Iver, Tula, Groove, and Roma,

for giving Hoobs

everywhere a little peep

into the world of peeps.

Have a Hoobledooble duper day,

stay dry and Hoobletoodle doo!

- [Hoobs] Hoobletoodle doo!

- All right, I wouldn't

mind having another go

in that Hoob juice now.

- Can I have ago Iver,

how about one boot each.

(overlapping speech)
