Let's take the Hooby
rope downstairs,
so we can lay it out
properly, and then wind it up.

- Isn't it obvious Iver?

- It's Hooby sort out day, tada!

- Thirsty work.

Yes, Hooby sort out day,
when collecting Hoobs
across the universe sort
out their collections,
and swap them all around.
Today's the day when
my little toy duck here
might move from
my squeaky things
that go squeak collection,
to my "things that
look like a bird,
"but can't fly" collection.
(laughing)
Alternatively, it might be
moved into my collection
of things over here
- Yes, yes, all right.
- We get the picture.
- But we need to wind
up this Hooby rope.
- That's fine by me.
- Well come on then, Tula.
Let's try.
Now, if we just do.
(snapping)
Oh dear.
I've trodden on this.
- Oh, Iver.
That's one of my things you
can peep at peeps through.
- I'm sorry, Groove.
- I think it would be
a good idea to tidy up.
- Ay, tidy up.
I've only just got
everything out, Tula.
It's Hooby sort
out day, you know.
Why is it a good
idea to tidy up?
- [Echoing Voice] Hubba Hubba.
- Why is it a good
idea to tidy up?
That's a hooble-dooble duper
question for today's Hoob News.
- Yeah, but it won't actually
involve any tidying up,
will it?
- Who knows, Groove.
It might.
- It's Hooby sort out day
you see, so I'm a bit busy.
- And I'll email Roma.
She's bound to have
an idea or two,
and here's a story that
a Tiddlypeep sent me
that might start you off.
(upbeat music)
- [Narrator] Squeak,
the cheeky chimp,
always played her violin
at the chimp supper.
Each evening while
Squeak played,
the chimps slurped mango jelly
(chomping)
They gobbled mango sandwiches.
- Nice.
(laughing)
(chomping)
- [Narrator] And
washed it all down
with a cold mango milkshake.
(mood music)
Of course, this meant
lots of messy mango peel,
which they all took
great care to clear up.
(slurping)
Except for Squeak, who said.
- Since I play such
beautiful music,
I shouldn't have to tidy up.
- [Narrator] It was true that
Squeak's music was beautiful,
because she had a
very special violin
made by Gary the Gorilla.
(mood music)
Now one night, after
Squeak had eaten
a particularly juicy mango and
thrown the peel on the floor,
she decided to show off.
She began to play her violin
and to dance at the same time.
Suddenly, she stepped
on the peel and whoosh!
She slipped up in the
air landing, crash,
on her precious violin.
- My violin, it's ruined.
- [Narrator] She wailed.
- How will I ever get another?
(mood music)
- [Narrator] Gary Gorilla said,
- I'll make you
another violin, Squeak,
if you promise to tidy
up my shop every night.
- [Narrator] Squeak
had remembered how
she lost her violin,
by not tidying up.
So she tidied Gary's shop and
got her beautiful new violin.
And from that day on,
when she had finished
eating her lovely mango treats,
Squeak always
remembered to tidy up.
- That story has given
me a hooby groovy idea.
- Ah, now you know why it's
good to tidy up, Groove.
See, then I wouldn't
have broken this thing
from your collection of things
you can peep at peeps through.
- I'm glad you broke it,
Iver, because now I can go,
tap tap tap with it, which
means that I can move it
to my tappity tap collection.
(tapping)
- Oh no.
(laughing)
- Now, I know I've got
a tappity tap collection
here somewhere, but where?

- It doesn't matter where.
What matters is that we find out
about tidying up this mess.
- Mess?
This isn't mess.
It's Hooby's sort
out day, and nobody
is going to spoil

your Hooby sort out day, Groove.
We wouldn't dream of it.
- I've been thinking,

Tiddlypeeps sometimes have

You see, the great thing
about Hooby sort out day is,
whole new collections just
appear before your very eyes.

collection; soggy wet things.

- I don't need to find my
tappity tap collection anymore,
so we don't need to tidy up.

to untangle the Hooby rope.

- Now today Hoobs, I've come
here to a Tiddlypeep school.
Hubba hubba emailed me,
asking me to find out
about tidying up,
and I've asked some
of the Tiddlypeeps here
if they could help me.
- What did the say, Roma?
- Well Iver, apparently
some tidying up
is about to happen in here.
There should be some Tiddlypeeps
arriving at any moment.
Ah, in fact, here they come now.
(acoustic melody)
- What's happening, Roma?
- Well Tula, these Tiddlypeeps
were in here earlier
before they went to
have their lunch.
They were sitting
in all these chairs
while their teacher
read them a story,
but some other
Tiddlypeeps are going
to be in here very soon.
- Are they going
to have to stand up
to listen to their story, Roma?
- No, Groove.
The next group of
Tiddlypeeps are going
to have a dancing lesson.
So these Tiddlypeeps are
tidying away the chairs
so there's room for
their friends to dance.
The other Tiddlypeeps
will be here any second,
so they need to get
it done very quickly.
- They're doing a great
job together, Roma.
- They certainly are, Iver
This room will soon
be hoobaciously tidy,
which is just as
well because ha!
I'm teaching the dance class,
and I'm going to be showing
the other Tiddlypeeps
some big, up and
down kind of dancing.
So they're going to
need lots of space
to run up and down.
- It looks like
they're almost done.
- We're finished Roma.
- All chairs are tidied away.

The room's tidy just in time,
and there's plenty of room
for the next lot of
Tiddlypeep's dance class.

- Yes, I haven't been

- It began when I accidentally
trot on Groove's thing

- Hubba Hubba found us a
story that made us realize
it is very easy to break things
when the place is in a mess.
- But it didn't bother me,
because now I had two sticks,
and I wanted to put them in
my tappity tap collection.
- Except Groove
couldn't find it.
Then the Tiddlypeeps showed
us that when you tidy up,
you can often find all sorts
of things that you've lost.
- But I didn't need to find
my tappity tap
collection anymore,
because I'ver spilled Hoob
juice all over everything
and made me a new collection
of wet and soggy things.

us a report from a school
where all the Tiddlypeeps
were tidying up
so that other Tiddlypeeps
could have a dance class.
- And that's when I
realized I was stopping Iver
and Tula from doing
what they needed to do,
but I still didn't
really want to tidy up.
- [Iver] Then Hubba Hubba
showed us some pictures
of peeps doing lots
of tidying up together
- So Iver and I
promised to help Groove.
- Which was very kind.
- [Tula] Then some
Tiddlypeeps showed me how
to play Hoobly
Groobly tidying up.
- [Groove] And I realized
that putting things away
can be as much fun as
getting everything out.
- [All] Hoob, hoob, hooray!
- Hooble dooble duper.
So, all you collecting
Hoobs out there,
