and I'm about to send four

of my favorite Hoobs down

to earth to find

to keep you warm on a cold day.

Is it just me or

is it really cold

in this Hoobmobile.

- Yeah, it is.

It's really cold.

Do you wanna cheese

sandwich to warm you up?

- No, I think I might get warm

if I just turn the

hoobie heater up.

(swoop)

Where's Tula?

- I'm not really sure, Tula.

- Tula.

- Tula.

- Tula.

- I'm up here

but not for long, it's cold.

- I wish Tula would

hurry up Grove

we need a question

- Iva, Grove.

There's all this white stuff

falling out of the sky.

- Is that what the

Peeps called snow?

- I think so.

It's who hoobly

groobly, isn't it?

- Yeah.

I wonder what it tastes like.

- I don't think snows

for eating, Grove.

- What's it for then?

- Well I have no idea.

Peeps must use it for something.

- But Hoobs aren't

they're skiing.

They put those things

called skis on their feet.

the snow to ski on.

- Yeah, just looking

at it makes me cold.

It's a good thing I've got

another sandwich to warm me up.

Do you want a bit?

- Oh, no thanks no.

Oh, Tula I can see

you're doing something.

I'm making us a pair of skis.

Peeps use snow to ski on.

So why can't Hoobs?

- Good thinking Tula.

Right let's try some skiing.

First, I will turn around

there.

(yells)

(thud)

- Iva are you are right?

This is no good.

If I can't even stand

up in these skis,

how will I whiz

around on the snow?

- You won't.

- How's it going Hoobs?

Iva, what are you

doing down there?

- Trying to ski.

- Well at the risk of

sounding discouraging,

I don't think you quite have

the hang of it yet you see,

you need to stand up

and then whiz down.

- It's the up part

that's really hard.

- Well perhaps skiing isn't

the best thing a Hoob

can do with snow.

Why don't you go and

see some Tiddly Peeps

if there's anything

to be done with snow

they'll know what it is.

- Hoobacious idea, Hubba Hubba.

Groove.

- Yeah.

- Do you want to go?

- Me see the Tiddly

Peeps in this cold.

- Take the sandwich with

you, you'll be fine.

- Let's get those

- Hi Grove.

- Want to do a hoobie Hello?

- Yes.

♪ Woo, woo, woo ♪

- (chuckles) Do you know

anything about snow?

- Of course we do.

- Like what?

- Well, we know that snow

is made up of snowflakes

that fall from the clouds.

- Out of the clouds.

- That's right but only

when it's really cold.

Snowflakes are raindrops

that turn all icy.

- We can make some

for you if you like.

Shall we show you how?

- Oh hooby groovy, yes please.

- [Girl In Pink] You fold

up the paper like this

and cut this out

like this.

This is what a snowflake

looks like up close.

(gasp)

(gasp)

- Hooby galooby, it's beautiful.

Are snowflakes really that big?

- No Grove, they're tiny.

- [Girl In Red] And

everyone is different, look.

- Oh Tula, Iva.

- Yes.

- Yes.

- We have to make

some snowflakes.

- Yes.

- I better get back

to the Hoobmobile.

Hooble toodle doo.

- Hooble toodle doo.

- Hooble toodle doo.

(chuckles)

(bloop)

- Think of that

no two snowflakes are the same?

- I know.

Look.

- (chuckles) I'm glad I went

to see those Tiddly Peeps,

because now we know what

Hoobs can do with snow,

make snowflakes.

- Do you know there's

something about that answer

that's not quiet right?

- What?

♪ What, what, what ♪

♪ What ♪

- I know what.

These snowflakes are

made out of paper.

They are not made

out of real snow.

- Exactly.

Making snowflakes

isn't something a

Hoob can do with snow.

It's something a Hoob

can do with paper.

- You're right.

Time for another

cheese sandwich.

♪ Hubba Hubba Hubba ♪

Hooble doop Hoobs.

Aw, those are hoobacious.

Do they have something

to do with snow?

- They're snowflakes,

but they're made of paper.

So making snowflakes

is something a Hoob

can do with paper.

- But not with snow.

Have you heard from

Roma yet Hubba Hubba?

- No, but a Tiddly Peeper

sent in a story to Hoobnet

which might help you.

Take a look at this.

(bloop)

- [Narrator] once upon a time,

there was a sledge

called Slippie.

He lived in a garden shed

that he shared with lots

of gardening tools.

It was lovely and sunny outside

but slippy wasn't happy

because he never got

taken out of the shed.

- I hate being stuck in here.

- [Narrator] He moaned.

- You're only stuck in here

because you have no use.

- [Narrator] Said

the lawn mower.

- Whereas I'm always being

taken outside to mow the grass.

(motor revs)

- [Narrator] Then

the shears boasted.

And I'm always

being taken outside

to keep the hedge

snip, snip, snip, snip.

- I do wish I had a use.

- [Narrator] Slippie sighed.

- I do wish you'd stop whining.

- [Narrator] Said

the old garden rake.

The weeks pasted and soon

it began to get colder.

So cold in fact that snow

started to fall from the sky.

Covering the garden

like a white blanket.

- I don't think I'm ever

going to get out of here.

- [Narrator] Thought Slippie.

But then a little boy

came into the shed.

The lawn mower got ready to go.

(motor revs)

Vroom.

The shears got ready to go.

Snip, snip, snip.

But the little boy

took hold of Slippie.

- Let's go and play outside.

- [Narrator] He cried

and carried Slippie

up a snowy hill.

The boy put Slippie on the snow

then sat on him and

pushed off down the slope.

- Weeee.

- [Narrator] Cried Slippie.

As he flew down the hill.

(boink)

It was the most

fun he had in ages

and at last Slippie

knew what he was for.

- Sledging is a hoobly

groobly thing to do with snow.

- Wasn't that fantabby

hooby story, Tula.

- Yes Hubba Hubba.

So fantabby hooby

that we'd like to

order a sledge.

- Of course you would.

I'd love to go slippery

sliding down a hill myself.

It'll would be with you in

two shakes of a twizzle tuft.

- Thanks Hubba Hubba.

- When our sledge comes,

we'll need so much try it out.

- But where?

♪ Where where where ♪

♪ Where ♪

- I know where the roof garden.

There must be Hoobloads

of snow up there by now.

- Yeah.

- The sledge is

here, I'll get it.

- I can't wait to push

off down the slopes.

Whoosh.

- Oh yes, whoosh.

- Oh excuse I.

Here it is.

- Let's take it up to

the Hooby roof garden

and try it out.

(carol music)

♪ Can you hear the pitter

patter of the snowflakes ♪

♪ As they flatter ♪

♪ Oh so gently all around ♪

♪ It's a magical sight ♪

♪ They twinkle in the light ♪

♪ There's a blanket of

white upon the ground ♪

♪ Now Hoobs need to know

what to do with snow ♪

♪ Snow is our new

Hooby mission. ♪

♪ We'll sit in a row ♪

♪ And get ready to go ♪

♪ Hold on tight now,

everyone in position ♪

♪ See us gliding,

see us sliding ♪

♪ See us skidding down the

the slippery, sliddy slope. ♪

♪ Watch us soaring ♪

♪ Watch us roaring ♪

♪ Watch me holding on

tight to the rope ♪

♪ The fields are

whizzing past us ♪

♪ As we hurl down the hill ♪

♪ There's no way

of stopping now ♪

♪ No way of staying still ♪

♪ The wind is in

my twizle tuft. ♪

♪ I'm wooshing out of sight. ♪

♪ We're about to turn a corner ♪

♪ All lean to the right ♪

♪ See us gliding,

see us sliding ♪

♪ See us bouncing along with

a bumpity, bumpity bump ♪

♪ Stop the sledge,

stop the sledge ♪

♪ We're heading for a hedge ♪

♪ Get ready for a

bumpity, bumpity bump ♪

♪ Bump ♪

- Oh that was hoobly groobly.

- Oh yes Tula, it was.

- Yeah, hooby groovy.

- But we haven't actually

gone anywhere have we.

- No.

- No.

- Sledging would be the answer.

If we had a hill to slide down.

- But we don't.

- But we don't.

- No.

- I need another sandwich.

♪ Roma, Roma, Roma ♪

- Roma's here,

I'm sure she'll know

what a Hoob can do with snow.

- Hooble doop Hoobs.

- Hooble doop Roma.

- Hooble doop Roma.

- Sorry it took me so

long to get back to you

but when Hubba Hubba

first emailed me,

I was in the desert.

- And there's no snow

in the desert, is there?

- No Iva, there isn't.

It took me a while

but I finally found this garden

that's absolutely

covered with snow

and very pretty it is too.

Now did you know that when

snow has settled on the ground,

it can be scooped up

and pressed into a ball.

- Pressed into a ball?

- Really?

- Yes, really.

And that ball made

out of snow is called,

wait for it,

a snowball.

- Hooby galooby.

- What do you do

with a snowball?

- Well, as you can see,

Peeps and Tiddly Peeps throw

them at each other in a game.

The Peeps tell me that

this is enormous fun

and can be played by as

many Peeps as possible.

And now armed with

my very own snowball,

I'm going to have a go myself.

Hey, bet you can't get me.

- Oh dear.

(laughter)

- [Grove] They got her.

- [Iva] They did.

- This is Roma Hoob,

reporting from a

game of snowballs.

Ready or not here I come.

- We've got the answer.

Playing snowballs.

- Let's go up to the roof

garden and try it out.

- The roof garden that

sounds cold to me.

Better take another sandwich.

- So what do we do now?

- We throw them.

(boink)

- My sandwich.

- We got you.

- Right.

- Let's do it again.

- Oh yes.

(laughter)

- No, no.

Wait a minute, wait a minute.

- What's the matter, Grove.

- What's my hooby fur

is getting all wet

where I've been hit

by the snowballs.

- Oh yes, my hooby paws are

getting wet rolling them.

- And mine.

- Hoobs can't get wet.

- Oh quick, let's get

inside and dry off.

Wow.

- Here watch that.

- Oh dear.

Brrrrrr, look at me.

- Do you know it's not

only wet, it's cold.

Can someone make me

another sandwich?

♪ Hubba Hubba Hubba ♪

(boink)

- Hooble doop Hoobs.

Oh I say you're all

covered in snow.

- Yes Hubba Hubba.

We've been throwing

snowballs, it was fun.

- Yeah, but being

hit by them wasn't,

our hooby fur got wet.

- Wet hooby fur,

not the kind of thing

a Hoob would like.

- Do you think we should can

see some more Tiddly Peeps?

- That's a fantabby

hooby idea, Tula.

They seem to know

quite a bit about snow

and they are sure to

come up with an idea

for what Hoobs could

do with the stuff.

- I'll go.

- And I'll drive.

- Hooby galooby,

what's a lovely snow scene.

But what is that?

It's a snowman.

You can make one

out of real snow.

- Oh,

Tula,

Grove.

Look at that snowman.

(gasps)

- Isn't he hoobascious.

So how do you make a snowman?

- You start by

making the snowball

and rolling it in the snow

until it gets really big.

That's the body.

Then you put a smaller

one on top for the head.

- Oh, well what do

you use for the eyes

and mouth and nose?

- You use stones

and small pieces

of coal for the eyes and mouth

and use a carrot for the nose.

- Oh, look at the

Hoobo fridge, Grove.

See if we've got something

to make a nose for a snowman.

I'm going to go back

to Hoobmobile now

to help Tula and

Grove build a snowman.

You're ever so clever, you know.

- Thanks Iva.

- Hooble toodle doo.

- That snowman is

definitely the best thing

for us to do with snow

and these Grove will be perfect

for keeping our hooby paws dry.

- Abso-hooby-lutely.

I have a collection of things

that don't let the water in.

But I'm sorry we didn't

have a carrot, Tula.

- Oh, nevermind.

I can think of

something even better.

- Oh yeah.

- A hoobnip.

(laughter)

- Let's build a snowman.

- Oo, Iva.

- Yes.

- You want to put these on.

- Oh, thank you.

- Oh yeah, that's heavy.

- Oh here Tula, I'll

give you a hand.

- Thanks Grove, thank.

- Wait a minute.

A snowman is a Peep

made out of snow, right?

- Right.

- Right.

- Well, that's not something

for a Hoob do with snow, is it?

- Oh, no, it's not.

We need to make a

Hoob out of snow.

- A snow Hoob.

- Yeah what could be more

who'd be more hooby groovy

than that?

Let's do it.

- [Iva] Right.

I'll take some of this.

- Yeah on top of

there, over there

♪ The north wind darth blow ♪

♪ And we shall have snow ♪

poor Robin do then ♪

♪ Poor thing ♪

♪ He'll stay in the barn ♪

- Well now Hoobs.

Welcome to Hoob news.

The new show for

Hoobs everywhere.

I'm Iva.

- I'm Tula.

- And I'm Grove.

- And today we've been

asking the question.

- What can a Hoob do with snow?

First of all, Hubba

Hubba showed us

that Peeps use snow as

something to ski on.

- [Grove] Tula made a

pair of hooby groovy skis

and Iva gave it a go.

- [Iva] But I found out I

couldn't even stand up in them.

That's a little zoom around.

- [Tula] Then groove went

to see the Tiddly Peeps

and discovered every

snowflake is different

and that they only fall

when it's very cold.

We made our very own snowflakes.

- But making

snowflakes is something

a Hoob could do with

paper and not snow.

- [Tula] Next Hubba Hubba

showed us a story about

a sledge called, Slippie.

- [Grove] We imagined

ourselves zooming down

a hill on a sledge.

Then we realized we

didn't have a hill.

- [Iva] But then Roma told

us all about snowballs.

- [Tula] So we made

snowballs and threw.

- [Grove] Yeah, but when

they hit us they broke up

and made my hooby fur wet

and Hoobs hate wet hooby fur.

- [Iva] Finally, I went to

see some more Tiddly Peeps

and they told us how

to make a snowman.

- [Tula] And this

led us to the answer.

- [Grove] Building a snowman

was something a Peep

could do with snow.

- But the answer to what

can a Hoob do with snow is.

- Build a snow Hoob.

- Build a snow Hoob.

- [Hoobs] Hoob, hoob, hooray.

- And what a hoobascious

looking snow hoob it is too.

So it's thanks once again

to Iva, Tula Grove and Roma

for giving Hoobs

everywhere a little peep

into the world of Peeps.

it's snowy or blowy
