PINKALICIOUS (voiceover):
Today is one of my favorite days
of the year!

It's Pinkville's Flowerfest!

That's where everyone plants
flowers in Pinkville Park.

I love planting flowers.

(chuckling):
Me too.

Me three.

Me four.

♪ ♪

Welcome, welcome,
welcome,

to our annual Flowerfest!

(cheers and applause)

Are you ready to plant
some flowers, Pinkville?

ALL:
Ready!

Yes!
Let's go!

(truck horn honking)

(back-up beeping)

All right!

Oh!

Here comes the flower delivery
truck now.

♪ ♪

I can't wait!

I'm going to plant
all pink ones.

Wait...

Those aren't flowers!

Eh... that's yarn!

Yep.

Yarn balls from the Yarn Barn,
just like you ordered.

But I didn't order yarn
from the Yarn Barn,

I ordered flowers
from the Yard Barn!

Uh, sir?

I'm afraid we have
a big yarn problem!

Don't fret,
I'll be along

with the rest of your order
real soon!

(honking)

No!

We don't need more yarn!

(crowd groaning)

You mean there's more?

I'm so sorry everyone.

What about the flowers?

There's no place
to plant them--

all this yarn
is in the way.

No problem!

We can just move it
and make room for the flowers.

Right?

Right!
Right!

Okay.
Sure.

You want us to pick up
all this yarn?

Come on!
We can do it!

Let's load up the wheelbarrow!

♪ ♪

This is impossible!

There's too much yarn.
Look!

(sighs)

There must be something
we can do with all of it.

CRUNK:
Don't mind me,

I'm just going to head
to my office

and knit up
some hats and scarves.

I didn't know you could knit,
Mr. Crunk.

Neither did I.
Neither did I.

Had no idea.

Oh, yes.

I see a ball of yarn,

and I just have to make
something.

If everyone made things
out of yarn,

we could use it all up
in no time.

But I don't know
how to knit.

Me either.

We don't have to know
how to knit.

There's lots of things
we could make out of yarn.

Like what?

Pom-pom garlands...

(gasps)

Pom-pom bunnies!

(giggling)

(cheering)

(all kids whooping)

Yup!

We've got to use up that yarn.

Don't worry,
Pinkalicious.

I'm using up lots of yarn
for my-- uh... you'll see!

I've made like
a gazillion spiders.

Can I stop now?

You're doing great, Kendra.

Everyone's doing great!

We'll have this yarn
finished off in no time.

Then we can plant flowers!

(trunk horn honking)

(back-up beeping)

Oh!

The truck!

They must be here
to pick up the yarn!

(door opens)

Oh, am I glad you're here.

I told you I'd be back.

Uh! No!

But we don't want more yarn!

More yarn?

I don't know where you're going
to put it all but... okay.

Be right back!

(groans)

Okay.

This is ridiculous.

What are we supposed to do
with all this yarn?

Any more ideas, Pinkalicious?

Um...
let me think...

I wish I knew how to knit.

Me, too.

Then we could make
a lot more things.

Yeah, but we don't know how.

But Mr. Crunk does!

I bet he could teach us
how to knit!

I'll go ask him.

Better ask him fast--

before that guy
delivers more yarn.

Don't worry, Knitman will
get you there super quick!

Knitman?

I didn't know you could knit.

Excuse me, Mr. Crunk?

Yes?

Sorry to bother you,
but we need your help.

Our yarn problem
is out of control!

Do you think you could teach us
how to knit?

Oh, so you and your brother
want to learn how to knit, eh?

Uh, actually, Mr. Crunk,
I meant the whole town.

Ooh!

I'll get more
knitting needles!

(chuckling)

Now we can plant flowers.

(groaning)

Oh, man!

Uh, that's it!

I give up!

We'll never use up
all this yarn!

We can't give up!

We just need to knit a bazillion
more sweaters and hats!

(everyone groaning)

I can't.

Ugh!

I am knitted out!

Yeah, me too.

(overlapping chatter)

Me too.
...my index finger!

There goes the Flowerfest.

(sighs)

I'm sorry, Pinkalicious.

We tried.

Hey, what did you do
to your scooter?

I thought my knit-mobile
needed a sweater.

So I wrapped yarn
all around it.

Like it?

I love it!

Peter, you just gave me
a pinkerrific idea!

(gasping in awe)

Sweaters for the trees!

Sweaters for the benches!

Sweaters for the lamp posts!

Sweaters for
the whole park!

Just look
at Pinkville Green!

the flowers delivered.

I think the park looks
so colorful the way it is,

don't you?

It really doesn't
need flowers.

(crowd agreeing)

It really does
look pretty.

Instead of Flowerfest,
this year can be Yarnfest!

We can plant flowers next year!

Yarnfest it is!

(all cheering)

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover):
Today was one
of my favorite days.

Because we made Pinkville Park

the pinkaprettiest
it's ever been!

♪ ♪

KIDS:
That's pinkatastic!

(giggling)

I'm London Kaye,
and I'm a yarn artist.

♪ ♪

So this is where
I make everything.

And I make crazy things
out of yarn,

and leave them on the street
for people to enjoy.

All you do is wrap the yarn
around the hook,

and pull it through,
and it's just a chain of knots.

Do you guys want to go and see
actually some of the stuff

that I've made outside?

KIDS:
Yeah!
Yay!

LONDON:
Let's do it.

Check it out!

We've got some crochet
leaking out of a water pipe.

Have you guys ever seen
anything like this before?

No.

♪ ♪

We've now found
our second piece of crochet art.

Do they remind you
of anybody?

BOY:
Two grandpas.

LONDON:
That's exactly what they are.

They're supposed to be
two funny old grandpas.

Neat.

These peace signs and hearts,
they bring joy

to these kind of like

grungy and concrete streets
that we're on.

But now I want to show you
how I put it up.

We have a girl...

It looks like Rapunzel!

And then the final one
down here.

(excited chatter)

Great!

I use yarn to make
my neighborhood pretty.

Let's see what you can do
to make your neighborhood

more beautiful, too.

PINKALICIOUS:
"Above the Clouds."

PINKALICIOUS (voiceover):
A windy day...

The pinkaperfect time
to fly a kite!

♪ ♪

♪ Peter ♪

Peter, come quick!

What is it, Pinkalicious?

Look.

PETER:
The trees...?

No-- the wind!

We can't let all that
pufftastic wind go to waste!

We've got to use it!

Yeah!

Uh, use it for what?

For kites, of course!

Yay!

But we don't have kites.

Not yet!

C'mon, let's go get
the Make Things Box.

♪ ♪

What are you guys doing?

We're making kites!

Really?

I used to love making kites.

I once made one shaped
like an octopus.

(giggling)
(imitating octopus)

But it didn't fly very high.

Well, I want my kite
to fly really high--

all the way up to the clouds!

(gasps)

That's it!

I'm going to make a cloud kite!

And I'm going to make...
a pig kite!

I've always wanted
to see a pig fly.

♪ ♪

PINKALICIOUS:
Wood will help our kites
keep their shape.

A cloud kite should be
nice and fluffy.

I'm going to make my pig pink.

I'll add some raindrops...

I'll give him a hat!

Wow, your kite
is pigerrific!

I'm going to call him...
Mr. Oinky.

And I'm going to call mine
Cloudia:

the most pinkaperfect
cloud kite

for going up to the clouds.

Wow!

Oh no!

That's not supposed
to happen.

Let's try again.

(groaning)

Come on Mr. Oinky,
why won't you fly?

Looks like these kites
need some more work.

Hmm...

(plane flying overhead)

How come airplanes
fly so high?

Maybe it's because
they're really big

and can catch
lots of wind.

Or maybe it's because
they have wings.

(imitating airplane)

I'm going to try to make my kite
a lot bigger

so it catches more wind.

And I'm going to give
Mr. Oinky some wings.

Come on, Peter.

Back to the kite workshop!

Now Cloudia's much bigger.

She should catch lots more wind
and fly higher.

And look at
Mr. Oinky's wings!

These will help him fly!

Let's go give them
another try.

♪ Here we go ♪

Look!

It's going up, up, and...

Around in circles?!

Cloudia, you're supposed to go
up to the clouds!

Come on, Mr. Oinky, go higher!

I need my kite to fly
less circle-y and more up-y.

And I need mine
to go more up-y, too.

Come on,
back to the kite workshop!

You're a cloud, Cloudia!

Don't you want to be
up in the sky

with the other clouds?

Hm...

The rainbow is making one side
heavier than the other.

Maybe that's why
she's going in circles.

♪ ♪

(gasps)

Peter, I think you're right!

Oh, but I don't want to take off
the rainbowlicious rainbow.

I'm going to make Mr. Oinky's
wings bigger so he flies higher!

Oh!

I could put another rainbow
on the other side!

That way both sides
will be even.

What do you think, Cloudia?

I think she likes it.

(giggling)

Here goes.

Hey look!
They're flying!

Look at Cloudia go
up, up, up to the clouds!

♪ ♪

Whoa!

(gasps)

Wow!

Look, Peter, I'm...
I'm flying!

(ratcheting)

(giggling)

Did you see...?

I thought I saw...
(chuckles)

Never mind,
I must be seeing things.

♪ ♪

Wow!

I can see the whole neighborhood
from here!

Cool!

(giggling)

Uh oh.

(thud)

Did you hear...?

Hear what?

(chuckling):
I guess I'm hearing things, too.

Hey, I'm going higher!

I guess losing my shoe
made me lighter.

Maybe I can go even higher!

(thud)

Whoa!

Look out clouds, here I come!

Hey, Peter,
you should see this!

It's pinkamazing!

Can I have a turn?

Okay!

I'll come down!

Uh oh.

How do I get down?

I know!

Peter,
fly your kite up to me

and you can pull me in
with your string!

Okay,
here comes Mr. Oinky!

♪ ♪

Come on, Mr. Oinky, go on...

Higher!

(wind blowing)

Whoa!

Looks like I'm going
on a kite ride.

Just...

Hang on, Pinkalicious!

I'm coming!

I feel like a bird!

Wheee!

(giggles)

I'm light as a feather!

But how am I going to get down?

I'm coming, Pinkalicious!

(Pinkalicious giggling)

Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Plum!

Did you just see
what I just saw?

A flying Pinkalicious?

Nah.
Nah.

♪ ♪

(honking)

Oh, hello there!

Oh, they must think
I'm flying south for the winter.

Don't follow me!

I'm not a goose, silly!

♪ ♪

(honking)

That's funny.

One of those geese looked
just like Pinkalicious.

Really?

Cool!

(gasps)

There she is!

♪ ♪

Here comes Mr. Oinky!

♪ ♪

Oh...

Why won't you
go any higher?

I don't think his wings are big
enough to fly as high as you.

What should I do?

What if you make your kite
lighter?

Lighter?

Yes!

When my shoe fell off,
I went higher.

Okay!

I'll just take off your hat,
Mr. Oinky.

♪ ♪

I hope this works.

♪ ♪

(gasps)

It's working!

The kite's going higher!

(straining)

Come on, Mr. Oinky...

(wind blowing)

Hm, losing my shoes made me
lighter and I went up...

(gasps)

Maybe if I make myself heavier,
I'll come down.

But where am I going
to get something heavy?

(gasps)
Apples!

♪ ♪

It's working! I'm going lower!

The apples are making me
heavier!

♪ ♪

(straining):
Just one more...

Got it.

All right, Peter, pull me in!

(straining)

Phew.

Whoo!

You know, Peter, the next time
one of us rides a kite

some apples.

Oh, really?

It's on the roof.

(crunches)

It's a long story.

Well, I was right.

to fly a kite.

I just didn't know
I'd go flying, too.

(geese honking)
