[Amy] There's this woman

in here, she's getting

att*cked regularly.

So much fear with this person.

Very scared.

I've been afraid

for my life here.

I've woken up many,

many times being strangled.

One's, like, on her face,

one's, like, on her chest.

They're very aggressive.

Any idea how many casualties?

It was a bloodbath.

I saw them holding them down

and assaulting this person.

[sobbing]

[Amy] I am pretty worried

about the living here.

It wants the person dead.

My name is Amy Allan.

I see dead people.

I saw a winged creature.

I speak to dead people

and they speak to me.

This person feels

like a monster.

But there's only one way to

know if my findings are real.

They are sucking the life

out of these people.

I rely on my partner.

I'm Steve DiSchiavi.

I'm a retired New York City

homicide detective.

So how many bodies

are we talking?

And I know every person,

every house has secrets.

It's my job to reveal them.

But Steve and I never speak.

We never communicate

during an investigation.

Until the very end.

[gasps]

-You're not

gonna like this.

-[sobs]

When we uncover if it's

safe for you to stay...

[crying] I'm sorry,

I need to take a break.

Or time to get out.

It wants inside the house

because it wants to k*ll you.

[gasps]

[Steve] So I'm in

Port Orchard, Washington,

it's a small, quaint town.

It's about a -minute

ferry ride from Seattle,

or you can just

drive it like I did.

Takes about an hour.

A desperate woman

named Caprice called.

Says there's

something evil

in her house

and it's going after her

and her -month-old

granddaughter.

The spiritual activity

in our house has reached

a level of v*olence that is

completely unspeakable.

I can no longer protect myself

or my family.

And the last person I want

to be k*lled or injured

is my granddaughter, Chloe.

[Steve] Whenever

a child is involved,

it gets my attention.

One way or another, we have

to help this family out.

[Amy] Oh, God.

Oh, God. This is bad.

I don't like this house.

I'm feeling this woman

crying in here.

I believe she's alive.

I'm worried about

this young female,

because I think there are

negative thoughts going on.

Like she feels trapped,

and she feels tortured

and tormented,

and she feels like nobody's

going to protect her.

Nobody's protecting her.

[Steve] I gotta tell you,

driving up here,

this is a beautiful

neighborhood.

But when we spoke

on the phone

you sounded terrified.

What the hell's going on here?

Uh... Um,

unfortunately too much.

We specifically found

this house to have my whole

family together, safe.

And instead I feel like I

brought them straight to Hell.

Okay. Who all lives

in the house now?

Four generations of women.

This is Jordi,

my -year-old daughter.

This is Chloe,

who was one at the time,

she's turning two soon.

And this is my

-year-old daughter, Tessah,

and then my mom.

What all's going on?

Who's getting

targeted the most?

Definitely myself

and my baby

granddaughter.

Okay.

It's gotta be scary

with the baby. I mean...

-Yes.

-What happened?

The hard part

is she can't tell us

what's going on.

So one night I was taking

her to the bedroom

and there was a human

bitemark on her stomach.

Okay. So, you know,

whatever's here,

if it's going after

somebody that tiny

and it can do that kind

of damage, it's a problem.

It's a big problem.

I'm terrified for her.

All right, so, Caprice, do me

a favor and give me a list

of what you guys

are experiencing here.

[Caprice] Shadow figures,

mood swings,

night terrors, for sure.

And physical att*cks.

Let's get into

the mood swings,

what are we talking about?

In the last six months,

very violent mood swings.

To the point where

a normal conversation,

say, between my older

daughter and I,

will turn into

a knock-down,

drag-out fight.

Are you only

experiencing rage,

as far as mood swings goes?

No. I would say,

now depression

or sadness.

Okay. When you guys are away

from here, how are you?

Peaceful, happy, nobody's

at each other's throats.

You're thoroughly convinced

it's a paranormal

doing this to you?

Yeah. I'm thoroughly

convinced.

What do you think

whatever's here wants?

I think the end result

is it wants to k*ll us.

[Amy] I'm just hearing

people, like, fighting.

So these are the living

people fighting,

there's a lot of

fighting going on.

I believe there's,

like, two females.

One female is more

just devastated.

Just...

feeling not protected,

not safe.

The other female feels

very frustrated.

Living people fighting.

Oh, my goodness.

[Steve] Okay, so what's

going on in here?

For starters,

I have really

terrible nightmares.

Okay,

if you can remember them,

describe what's going on.

Usually, it's something

or someone chasing me

as I'm collecting up

my children and

my grandchild

and try to get out of

the house before it gets us.

What is getting you?

Something very, very ugly,

creepy, demonic-looking.

And how often are you

having these dreams?

Several times a week.

Okay. All right.

[Amy] What the [bleep]?

This person's looking

out the door

and seeing these two little

things, like, floating in.

Maybe feet tall?

Like, maybe feet tall?

What the [bleep]

are these things?

These things are giving

the living nightmares.

They honestly just look like

little shadowy things.

I can definitely make

out arms, though.

But I can't like

make them out,

they're, like,

completely in shadow.

But these two things

are not good.

[Steve] All right, so

what else is going on in here?

I go to bed,

and I'm perfectly fine.

Take a shower before bed,

wake up the next morning

and I have huge bruises,

scratches and burns

on my legs,

on my back,

places I can't reach.

And what do they look like?

There you go.

Wow. Is that a burn

or a bruise?

It is-- It's what they

thought was a chemical burn

and a bruise.

It was very painful.

-They ever figure out

what it was?

-No.

What else is going on?

I've woken up many,

many times being strangled.

-So--

-Does it feel like

hands choking you?

It does, but the weird

thing is, is it's cold.

What's touching me is cold.

That's scary. Any other

physical att*cks going on?

There's physical as*ault

that's... hard to talk about,

That's essentially

every woman's nightmare.

Can you describe

how an att*ck happens?

The first one that I recall

that was really vivid,

I was asleep on this

side of the bed.

I was on my back.

And something grabbed my right

shoulder that had claws to it,

and in one fell swoop,

flipped me over, face-first.

That particular scenario has

happened at least ten times.

All right, so basically

you're getting sexually

assaulted in bed.

-Yeah.

-By something

you can't see.

It isn't just sexual as*ault.

It's violent

and extremely painful.

Whatever's here,

that was it exerting its

complete dominance.

I gotta ask you why

you haven't ran out

of this place and

just never looked back?

[voice breaking]

I've wanted to.

I know.

I want to.

[sniffles]

But I have my whole family

counting on me.

I mean, I found this house,

I brought everybody here.

And that's why I think

it's attacking me.

And I'm hoping that

I'm the only one it's

attacking like that,

because I couldn't live

with myself if it did that

to somebody else.

[Amy] There's this woman

in here, she's getting

att*cked regularly.

And it's from

these two little things.

She's having, like,

ugly nightmares,

sleep paralysis.

So she's laying down

and these things

are on her.

One's, like, on her face,

one's, like, on her chest,

forcing her down,

so she can't even

like sit up or anything.

They're very aggressive.

Having these things

att*ck her, also then

staying awake,

trying not to fall asleep,

because she's scared.

So much fear with this person.

Lots of fear. Very scared.

Mmm-hmm.

[Matthew]

So what's the worst thing

it might be able to do?

[Amy] Drive people crazy.

[Steve] Jordi, talking

to your mom earlier,

I gotta tell you,

I'm really concerned about

what's going on in this house.

-This is out

of control.

-Yeah.

She also told me that you guys

are at each other's throats

to the point where

it's getting crazy.

-Is that right?

-[sighs]

Yeah, unfortunately.

We've never been like this.

There has been such

a change in my mom that,

like, I've never seen.

I've grabbed her

by the shoulders

while she's in this rage

and, like, her eyes

are literally black.

So, one of the big reasons

that I took this case

is because...

sounds like whatever

she has is going after

your less than two-year-old

daughter, Chloe.

-Your mom is convinced

she's in danger here.

-Mmm-hmm.

-Do you feel

the same way?

-I do.

Can you tell me

about an experience

that's made you worry

about Chloe?

The worst would be

I was carrying my daughter

down the staircase

and I was pushed from behind.

Tell me what happened.

So, I got pushed so hard

that I cleared the first

set of stairs and landed

with one knee down,

kind of like to the side.

I had even rolled with her,

but she was fine.

That was a lucky...

Yeah.

That you didn't get k*lled,

or something happened

to the baby.

All right,

so what else

is going on?

Well, I've been waking up

with strange marks on my body.

Puncture marks and bruises.

I do know that when you have

a low white blood cell count,

-you get bruises.

-Yeah.

So, is that a possibility

that's what it is?

So, I checked that as well,

my labs were normal.

Well, your mother

thinks whatever's here

wants to k*ll someone.

I've been afraid

for my life here.

But it's one thing

to mess with me,

but when you're messing

with my child, it's hard.

[Amy] These things

are interacting with

the person in the bed.

And I believe it's physical.

I don't know if they've

been hit on their back

or pushed or what,

but they've definitely

had issues with things...

You know,

with feeling things

on their back.

But they are being like,

physically [bleep] with,

that's not good.

So, Tessah, I talked to your

mom and your sister, Jordi.

I mean, this place

is out of control.

Yeah.

Your mom thinks whatever's

here is pretty dangerous.

I mean, you agree with that?

Yeah, I believe that.

Tessah, what experiences

are you having here?

I have seen shadow figures

in various places

around the house.

Okay, so where have

you seen these?

In the living room,

in my bedroom.

One in particular

got me very emotional.

Out of nowhere

I was bawling

my eyes out.

Two minutes later

I felt perfectly fine.

Okay, so anything else?

One night I was sitting

in my bed doing homework

and, all of a sudden,

my bed started shaking

really violently,

like somebody

had grabbed

the bedframe,

but nothing else

in my room was shaking.

We're in Washington, could

it have been an earthquake?

I go on my phone,

checked the earthquake

map or whatever,

make sure it's not

an aftershock

-from a different

earthquake...

-Right.

-Nothing.

-Okay,

so you basically

researched and saw that

it couldn't have happened,

-as far as

earthquakes go.

-No.

This is a pretty serious case.

That's why I don't understand

why youse is still here.

This has been my mom's dream

since I was a little girl.

I don't wanna see

your mom's dream get crushed,

so hopefully we'll figure out

what the hell's going

on and how to fix it.

[Amy] Those little

floaty shadow things

come in here too.

[Matthew] Is it the same two?

I'd say there's

about five of them.

[Matthew]

They were all together?

They don't

all huddle together, no.

Feeling something on the bed,

something jumping

around the bed.

Living person's crying,

'cause these things

are jumping around the bed.

So, are those things,

like, tricksters?

They're definitely tricksters,

okay, okay.

Very draining energy,

like both from the [bleep]

little trickster guys,

but the living's

energy in there

is like a [bleep] nightmare.

They're definitely feeding

into the whole [bleep] thing.

And that's just bad.

[Steve] I was driving around

Caprice's neighborhood

and drove right

by a huge casino.

Turns out it's run by a tribe

that's native to the area.

I'm on my way to meet

a local historian

who says the Suquamish

suffered a lot

of deaths here.

But it wasn't all

at the hands

of the settlers.

Well, Josh,

thanks for meeting me,

I appreciate that.

So, before we get

to the bad time

these people had,

what do we know about

the Suquamish tribe?

Well, the Suquamish tribe were

really an incredible people.

Go back thousands

of years here,

one of the most powerful

leaders of the Suquamish

was Chief Kitsap.

In fact, the county

that you're standing in

right now is named for him.

On the phone you mentioned

that the Suquamish tribe

had a tough time but it wasn't

from settlers in this case.

What happened?

In the s, Kitsap

and the Suquamish

faced a problem from what's

known as the Cowichan tribe.

They were up on what we

now call Vancouver Island

in Canada.

The Cowichan peoples

were coming down in canoes

that looked a little like that

and burning, pillaging,

and going through

the Suquamish's villages,

really terrorizing

the Suquamish people.

And that put Chief Kitsap

in a crisis.

They fight back at all?

You bet, yeah. Kitsap,

when faced with this crisis,

he decided to paddle

some canoes

across what's now

the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

And they went through

each village

and, of course,

did roughly the same thing

that the Cowichan

had done to the Suquamish.

Burning villages,

k*lling the elderly,

going through

and kidnapping many of

the women and children,

but there was

one thing missing.

The Cowichan warriors

were nowhere to be found.

Where the hell were they?

The Suquamish come back

wondering where are

the Cowichan warriors,

and lo and behold

they find them

in the Suquamish's village.

What did they do?

Kitsap immediately

orders all of their captives

from the Cowichan k*lled

and the Cowichan tribe

does the same.

That's pretty brutal.

And that is right before

the big battle begins.

Okay, so now

we've got this big battle.

Any idea how many casualties?

We don't know exactly

how many people d*ed,

but we do know that

it was a bloodbath.

But Kitsap did ultimately

defeat the Cowichan.

And any subsequent time

that the Cowichan did

att*ck the Suquamish,

Kitsap was victorious.

After these battles,

Kitsap became one

of the most powerful chiefs,

not only in

the Puget Sound area,

but in the Pacific Northwest.

Someone or something was

buried in that little hill.

It was buried by people.

[Matthew] Can you tell

anything about why it

was buried or who did it?

I don't know who did it.

It's very possible that

it all kind of goes back

to Native Americans.

I believe it was because this

thing was causing problems.

It's, like, trying to get out,

so it starts digging.

And then it stops

and it goes back.

And then it starts

digging again

in a completely

different direction.

The influence that

this radiates out

is kind of like a nuttiness,

so the energy that

it's emitting is crazy.

[Steve] When I'm in

the Pacific Northwest,

I always check in

with my good friend,

author Jeff Davis.

He did some digging and says

one of the original owners

of Caprice's property was a

guy who lived a charmed life.

That is, until he set foot

on the land.

[Steve] Well, Jeff,

it's good to see you again.

All right. So, this guy, what

can you tell me about him?

His name

was Charles Kittinger,

and he came from Delaware.

And he came at the age of

to open a private bank

with a friend.

Okay, so, when does he acquire

my client's property?

In , he married

a woman named Amy Whitney.

And about a month

after the marriage,

he started buying up land,

including your client's

property.

Okay, so it sounds like

he's doing okay with the bank.

Exactly.

He's highly successful,

he's on the Chamber

of Commerce.

I'd like to think of them as

Seattle's young power couple.

You told me that once he

acquired my client's property,

everything went to hell

for him. What happened?

It wasn't long after that that

they both turned on each other

and started accusing

each other of infidelity.

Okay.

To the point that,

according to rumors,

one time he actually pushed

her down the stairs.

And when she got up,

he went and slapped her.

[Steve] Did they stay

together or she split?

Surprisingly,

they stuck together.

They even had a daughter

in . Her name was Emma.

Okay.

And here

the tragedy continues.

One day,

after her second birthday,

she d*ed of meningitis.

Aw, that's a horrible death.

It is.

Soon after

their baby d*ed,

she left.

She went first

to the world's fair

and then she made

her way to New York,

where she got a job acting.

Charles, here.

How's things going for him

while this is all happening?

He was about

as successful

in business

after all of this

as he was in love.

He defaulted on loans

and the bank started after him

and he started getting sued.

Finally, ,

the bank wins the lawsuit

-and the property

is foreclosed on.

-Okay.

Leaving Charles with nothing.

So, what happened to Charles?

He went to Niagara Falls,

which was kind of a spa town.

And he d*ed at the age

of of meningitis,

like his

two-year-old daughter.

Really?

Here's his death certificate.

Wow.

So even though

he came from something,

he d*ed with nothing.

Exactly.

This female came in.

She's tall, thin, blonde.

She's in a bathing suit,

probably in her s,

and she was standing

by a tree,

And a man comes up

that she called,

I believe, Charlie.

I'm getting...

I believe it's the male

who's completely over it,

like, just done.

And he hits her in the back of

the head and she goes down.

[Matthew] Any idea

why he did that?

Psycho?

[Steve] So far,

I have a client who thinks

something evil

is going after her

and her -month-old

granddaughter

on a property where

a deadly Native American

battle took place.

But I wanna see

if there's anything else.

Searching through old records,

I find the tragic story of

a teen who committed su1c1de

just over a mile

from Caprice's property.

What could make

a teenager with his whole life

ahead of him k*ll himself?

I've got a private

investigator looking

into this case

and I'm hoping she might

have some answers for me.

Well, Leigh, thanks

for meeting with me

and helping me out

with this case.

This victim, what'd you

find out about him?

So the victim in this case

was a -year-old boy

named Freddie Jenkins.

Well-liked,

active in Boy Scouts.

Aw, he was a good-looking kid.

Now, was he an only child?

No, he had three other

siblings.

He was the eldest

in the family.

[Steve] The eldest, okay.

Do me a favor,

walk me through what happened.

So, on August th, ,

it was sort of

a family night out.

The parents went off

to go to a meeting

-at the veterans' club.

-Okay.

And the kids were planning

on seeing a movie.

The three younger kids

saw their brother drive

by in a bike.

They assumed that

Freddie was headed

to the movie theater too,

but he never showed up.

So what happened?

The kids come home

from the movie,

wander around the house trying

to figure out what's going on.

And that's when they see

their brother, Freddie,

hanging from a rafter

in their mother's bedroom.

Freddie was found

dressed from head to toe

with his mother's clothing on.

You're kidding me.

And we also have two water

glasses in the kitchen,

that the siblings did not use,

that were there

when they came in.

All right, so it indicates

more than one person

was in the house.

Right.

Here's an article about it.

All right, so did they deem it

a su1c1de at that point?

Well, the coroner

felt very strongly that

it was not a su1c1de.

We know that he found some

bruising on Freddie's stomach,

and we also noted that

he found two puncture marks

on Freddie's neck.

Really?

Which have never

fully been explained.

-The local sheriff was in

charge of the investigation.

-Okay.

-But he was never able to find

anybody linked to the case.

-Okay.

And his final verdict

was su1c1de by misadventure.

What the hell is that?

I'm not quite sure,

it doesn't make sense to me.

All right, so it's ,

how did the town

react to all this?

Town was completely

freaked out by this.

-Okay.

-By this death.

The townspeople raised

enough money to hire

their own private investigator

to look into the case.

-Okay.

-And at the same time,

the State decides

to get involved too.

-Okay.

-And together,

they decided they were going

to exhume Freddie's body again

and look for new evidence

with a second autopsy.

Did anything come out of that?

Nothing came out of that

that we know of.

So basically, it sounds like

this is still an open case.

It is a completely

unresolved case.

[Amy] Weird, I feel,

like, a death. Huh.

Definite death vibe.

I feel like there's

a dead male

and I think he's young. Hmm...

He's like in his teens.

I do believe that

he k*lled himself.

[Matthew] Any idea

how they're seeing him?

I think they're seeing him

like a shadow person.

This is where

the living woman

goes to cry.

I'm worried about this dead

male who k*lled himself,

and I feel like he's putting

that on to this living girl

wanting to k*ll herself.

[Matthew] Does he seem

to have any intent?

He's lonely, so he may want

somebody to join him.

[Amy] I saw several

horrifying things

on my walk,

but two stood out.

First, the teenager

who committed su1c1de.

Silhouetted, you know,

in the doorframe

is this male figure.

No defining anything

because it's all in shadow,

more like just what you

could see as outline.

Next, the tricksters attacking

a living woman in bed.

So these things are like

kind of ball-shaped,

so they have like little arms.

Make them

a little bit smaller.

The hands look like hands of

a really elderly person.

Amy, is this what you saw?

Yes, that's what I saw.

[Steve] Now that Amy

and I have completed

our investigations,

we're ready to reveal

our findings to each other

and our clients

for the first time.

So, guys,

I'd like you

to meet Amy,

she's gonna be

doing the reveal

from another room

so she can focus

on your case and the dead

without any distractions.

Amy, this is Caprice

and her daughter, Jordi.

Now, it's a big house,

a lot of people live here.

As a matter of fact, it's four

generations under one roof.

This is Jordi's baby,

Chloe, in the photo.

Next to her is Caprice's

other daughter, Tessah,

who's what, ?

.

And that's Grandma

in the middle

of both of them.

The main reason we got

called in is because of Chloe.

Caprice is convinced

that whatever's here

is after the baby.

And she doesn't even wanna

think about what could happen

if we can't fix things.

Now that Amy knows

a little bit about you guys,

she'll either have

some questions,

if not, she'll tell us

about her walk.

[Amy] The first dead person

that I encountered

during my walk is

in and out of the house.

To me, he came off, his vibe

was that of a young male,

possibly in his teens.

And he appeared to me

as more or less

a shadow person.

He's very, very sad.

Extremely depressed

individual.

At one point I saw him

through the eyes

of a living female,

and because of him,

she was crying and feeling

this extreme depression.

And so, I am pretty worried

about the living here,

because his energy...

he does push it out,

this depression.

[Steven] Caprice, we talked

about mood changes, tell Amy.

In the last six months or so,

we've experienced real

significant mood changes.

You also mentioned

that you had a lot of sadness

and depression, right?

[Caprice] Yeah.

I almost classify it as grief.

Amy mentioned that you may see

this kid as a shadow figure.

Tessah told me about seeing

a shadow figure

that made her depressed.

Jordi, how about you?

They just look whimsical

and it's black,

and it's a shadow person.

Basically st*lks my daughter

and I around our bedroom.

I had a sketch of what I saw.

Okay, so you really didn't get

a detailed look at him.

[Caprice] Wow.

That's your bedroom.

[Jordi] That's my bedroom.

How do you know

it's your bedroom?

[Jordi] This is literally

what I see, often.

I'll sense him, I wake up,

he's usually standing over

the side of my bed,

I mean I've lost

so much sleep over this.

So, Amy, did you get any

idea on who this kid was

when he was alive?

I did get that

he was a su1c1de.

I could tell that

he's slight build.

I felt that he was young,

I would think teen.

I did come across a su1c1de

of a teenager in my research.

This kid's name

was Freddie Jenkins.

Actually found

a picture of him.

So, in August of ,

-year-old Freddie

was supposed to meet his three

younger siblings at a movie,

but he never did.

So when the kids

got back home,

they found Freddie

hanging from a rafter

in their parents' bedroom.

It was a strange scene

because he was wearing

his mother's clothing,

and hung himself

with his mother's scarf.

There was an article

about him.

Wow, that's sending

a message, okay.

Yeah.

Now, the coroner

thought he was m*rder*d

because he found

two suspicious puncture marks

on his neck

and bruises on his stomach.

But the sheriff was convinced

that it was a su1c1de,

so to this day the case

remains basically unsolved.

You... It made me think about,

didn't you tell me about

puncture marks on your neck?

Yeah, on my neck

and then on my lower back.

[Amy] Oh, boy.

[Steve] All right, so,

Amy, what else happened?

I also saw there's

some activity

being created

by the living

in the house.

When I walked in,

I heard people fighting,

so I think there's a lot

of fighting going on?

And the energy in the house...

Oh, my gosh, like,

the tension and frustration

is physically consuming

and draining.

I felt that one female,

I believe, in particular,

is feeling trapped,

and tormented.

And the other female feeling

frustrated and angry...

Well, it's one of

the main reasons

we were called in, Amy.

Jordi thinks her mother

has become a totally

different person.

[voice breaking]

She's literally no one that

I even know anymore sometimes,

and I can't get

through to her.

It'll be something so small

and she just snaps,

and it's like her eyes

go black,

and then she'll just blink

and nobody's home.

And she's possessed

or something,

I mean, the stuff

that comes out of her mouth,

like... are just really

not her, and they're hurtful.

And I don't remember

what is said.

It's a burst, it's like

an expl*si*n of angst

and anger and then it's over.

[Jordi] I need to take

a break for a sec.

[Amy] Okay.

I'm sorry.

[Jordi sniffling]

Do you wanna go see

if she's gonna be okay?

She wants to be away from me.

It's just she gets

highly emotional.

-[Jordi exhales deeply]

-You okay?

-[sniffling] Yeah,

I apologize, I just...

-[Steve] It's all right.

...needed a second.

[Steven] Amy, any idea

on what's making Caprice

so angry?

[Amy] So, during my opening

I was shown a hill,

where something was buried by

people from a long time ago,

because it was

causing problems.

I think that it's tied

to Native Americans.

What I would see is

this thing in this hill,

trying to dig itself out.

The influence that

this radiates out

is kind of like a nuttiness,

so the energy that

it's emitting is crazy.

[Steve] So, Amy,

a tribe called the Suquamish

used to live here

for thousands of years.

As a matter of fact,

they had villages all up

and down the Puget Sound.

In the s,

they were terrorized

by a warlike tribe

called the Cowichan.

This tribe used

to paddle down the river,

from the north,

to come over here

and kidnap or k*ll

whatever they found

-on the Suquamish villages.

-Whoa.

I mean they destroyed them.

Fortunately, the tribe

had a chief named Kitsap.

Now, he led a w*r party

against the Cowichan villages.

They att*cked

the Cowichan tribes,

camps they could find,

they k*lled the elderly,

took the women

and children c*ptive.

These two sides fought it out,

but Kitsap and his men

ultimately won.

So that bloodshed

happened where we live.

Yeah, in the s, yeah.

Amy, did you pick up

on anything else?

[Amy] The next things

that I encountered,

which are

the biggest problem...

Little shadow things that

were, like, maybe feet tall.

Oh, God.

It took me a while,

and I'm like "Oh, look,

they're tricksters."

That definitely tied in

with what I had gotten prior,

with the hill,

and all this kinda stuff

and I'm, like,

"This is totally

Native American".

And there was about five or

six of them around your house,

but there's two that

made me really nervous,

because they seemed

aggressive.

I'm feeling something

on the bed,

something jumping

around the bed.

Caprice, do me a favor

and tell Amy about

Tessah's bed shaking.

She said it felt like

something picked

the corner end of her bed

up off the ground

-about a foot off, and...

-Oh.

...let it go, and it

just slammed down.

Yeah, that would

be a trickster.

The ones that

were aggressive,

what I saw,

was that they were

causing nightmares.

Oh, I have very, very,

very intense nightmares.

I gotta assume

that these things cause

a lot more than just

nightmares, am I correct?

Yeah, they absolutely

can physically interact.

Like I felt somebody being

pushed or hit in the back,

being poked.

This person's in a great

deal of physical pain.

Tell Amy about

when you were carrying Chloe.

I was carrying her

down the staircase,

I got pushed from behind,

and went airborne,

but I tucked myself

into a ball to protect her.

[Amy] Wow. I got

that the tricksters

were interacting

with someone in bed.

Basically,

I saw them up

on this person,

holding them down,

and assaulting this person.

And I got that this person

was extremely terrified.

I'll wake up and I'll have

bruises on my inner thighs.

One of them,

in particular, I woke up

and I looked like acid burns.

Went to my doctor,

there's no explanation.

And this is the one

you were just talking about,

the burn and the bruise.

Tell Amy about being

strangled by cold hands.

Oh, yeah.

I've woken up choking.

It felt like ice-cold hands

on my throat.

Mmm-hmm.

I think we need to talk to Amy

about the other things

that are happening to you.

I know it's a tough

thing to talk about,

but she needs to know.

I've been grabbed

by the shoulder

with what feels like

either jagged nails or claws.

Flipped over,

then I'm assaulted

with something

that does not feel human.

I did have a sketch done...

of what I saw of these two

aggressive tricksters.

Wow, that's strange.

You're not gonna like

to see this, but...

[Caprice] Oh, God.

The hands.

Definitely the hands.

It's like a visual

representation

of the terror that you feel.

My biggest fear is that

these two weird tricksters

would get more

aggressive with you

and do severe physical harm.

[voice breaking] It's hard

to hear that my worries and

fears weren't just paranoia.

I utterly [sniffles]

felt like I was going crazy.

[sobs]

[Steve] So, the good news

is you guys aren't crazy,

but you got

a lot of stuff

going on here.

Now, to answer

the big question...

Can you make this place safe

for you and your family,

especially little Chloe,

or are you gonna have

to pack up and leave?

And for that answer,

I'm gonna turn it over to Amy.

So, there's a lot

going on here,

and the majority, honestly,

has to do with your family

and your family's dynamic.

I feel that you guys need

intensive family counseling

and I would highly suggest

a psychotherapist

for that counseling

for the family.

As far as

the paranormal's concerned,

I would get a shaman

that is associated with

the Suquamish tribe,

to come and to remove

the tricksters.

At the same time,

removing the dead male

who k*lled himself.

[Steven] What about the thing

buried in the hill outside?

Will the shaman

also take care of that?

Yes. Absolutely, yes. Yes.

I'm grateful

that it's fixable.

I was prepared

to burn it down.

You guys are gonna

take Amy's advice?

Hell, yes.

I mean, all of it,

the counseling...

Yes.

Knowing is the power.

Well, I'm glad we could help,

'cause you guys

were pretty desperate,

but you gotta feel good

knowing Chloe's gonna be safe.

Yeah, I just think

you guys are great.

You're amazing.

Thank you, Amy!

[chuckles]

[Amy] I really hope

Caprice and Jordi seek out

family counseling.

If they do that,

and call in a shaman

to clear out all of the dead,

all four generations of women

should be able to go back

to living a peaceful

and happy life under one roof.

Hi, Amy!

Hi, Steve!

Hi, guys! Well, we did

what Amy asked us to do.

[Jordi]

I contacted the Suquamish

tribe elders for assistance.

And the shaman came

and cleansed our house,

our land

and my daughter Chloe

actually now sleeps

through the night.

So we wanna thank you from

the bottom of our hearts.

We've seen % improvement

and all of the activity

is gone.

Bye, guys!

Bye!
