♪ Hot sh*t, Whirl, Hoist, Medix, and Wedge ♪

♪ Their teamwork, together, will give 'em the edge ♪

♪ Rescue Bots Academy roll to the rescue ♪

♪ Roll, roll, roll! Roll out! ♪

-Hmm. -How's it going?

Ugh! Hot sh*t.

This is really, really hard,

and if I mess up now, I'll have to start all over,

so can you just... Shh!

-[alarm sounds] -[gasps]

Oh sure. You never tell the rescue drill alarm to shush!

Huh... Ah!

Yeah!

[grunts with effort]

Uh...

Can't be too prepared for emergency roll out practice!

♪♪

[action music]

[grunts]... Oh!

Tough Luck Chuck needs help.

Let's move, team! Stack and save maneuver. Hurry!

The most efficient stacking would require Hot sh*t

to exchange with...

[all shout] Get up here!

Ah!

Hey, watch your treads!

I gotcha, Medix.

[machine beeps]

Not bad.

Which means... good! Yes!

Your rescue response times are good.

But they could be better.

When that alarm sounds,

you have to drop whatever you're doing and move!

Isn't that what we just did?

There's still some room for improvement.

Wedge has been first to respond for practice

every time this alarm goes off.

Whatever he's doing, it works.

[chuckles]

We'll do better next time!

Desire for improvement, duly noted.

Yes sir!

But we still totally rocked that rescue, right?

I mean, look how happy Chuck is!

Alright, recruits. Take a break.

Wedge? A word?

I wonder what Heatwave wants to talk to Wedge about?

Maybe he wants to tell him a story.

Or needs a partner for miniature golf?

What?

It's like regular golf, but smaller.

-[alarm sounds] -Rescue alarm!

Roll to the rescue!

That was our break?

C'mon. That had to be faster than last time.

It sure felt faster.

♪♪

You'd better pick up the pace if you want to impress Heatwave.

He's not even here to see us!

Unless... [gasps] He's invisible!

Just to keep us on our toes.

[sighs]

[engines roaring]

Yes! I think we b*at Wedge!

Nope. But nice try.

Ah, Wedge. How did your day with my rescue drill alarm go?

The team's rollouts got better each time I used it.

Excellent work.

If I kept this for a few more days,

I know we could get really fast.

Alright. But remember,

don't use the drill alarm too often.

The idea is to practice-- not wear everyone out.

Sure, of course.

Who wants to help me clean the academy windows?

Sorry, Hot sh*t.

Boulder asked me to help with the tube system.

So... that's a no. Whirl?

I have flight practice. But after that, you're on!

Medix! You're not busy, right?

Correct. I just have no desire to squeegee.

Ahhh.

-[alarm sounds] -Huh?

You call that a "roll to the rescue," recruits?

Hey, who shrunk Heatwave

and put him in a Wedge costume?

You were . microseconds slower that time!

Is that Heatwave's rescue drill alarm?

It's mine now.

He put me in charge of it to help train you.

That explains the constant interruptions.

Emergencies don't wait around until you're ready for them.

It's "roll to the rescue,"

not "get to the rescue when you feel like it."

And we'll keep practicing until you understand that.

Um, can we get a little break first?

I need time to help Boulder with the tube system.

It's been seriously acting up.

Sorry. Heatwave's orders are to improve

our "roll to the rescue" times.

Starting... now!

-[alarm sounds] -We're already here!

[grunts with exertion]

-[alarm sounds] -Whoa!

-Ohhh... [grunts] Ow! -[thud]

That was not my fault! My tube malfunctioned!

[alarm sounds]

Uh-oh.

[out of breath] I had to... take the... stairs.

[alarm sounds]

Whoa!

[grunts with exertion]

We really need to get that tube system fixed.

After your time improves.

[all groan]

It's like that alarm device has taken over Wedge's brain!

He can't stop pressing that button.

It has been minutes since our last alarm.

So the probability of one right now is percent.

I don't get it. With each roll to the rescue,

you're getting slower!

We want to improve our times, but we need a break.

We're burning out.

Yeah, and I'm way behind on my maintenance work.

Did I mention we need a break?

Shh! Anybody hear that?

[all] Huh?

Roll to the rescue!

Make that percent.

♪♪

Hey! What's going on?

Team? Guys... Hello?

Anyone?

Where's Wedge? [gasps]

Did we actually, finally b*at him?

Or maybe Mr. Button Crazy

is just making us roll to the rescue,

and not bothering to show up.

Nah! Wedge wouldn't do that. Would he?

-[alarm sounds] -We heard you the first time!

Perhaps the alarm device is malfunctioning.

Well, we already rolled to the rescue.

It's not our fault if he isn't here to see that.

[alarm sounds]

Grr! Why aren't they coming?

-[alarm sounds] -Fine. I'll rescue myself!

Uh... Uh-oh. Whoa!

Whooooaaaa!

[grunts]

That's not good.

Whoa!

And that's even worse.

Thanks, guys. With your help,

maybe we can fix the tube system before there's another alarm.

Ooh, is that a new feature?

No. That's a coolant leak.

Good thing no one was in Wedge's tube when it happened.

Wait. Wedge's tube?

Hey, where is Wedge?

-Oh no. -You don't think?

Oh, Primus.

-Wedge? -You down there, buddy?

-Remain calm. -Can you hear us?

[Wedge muffled] Help!

Now this is a roll to the rescue that I care about.

-Let's move! -Wait!

First we must assess the situation!

That's him! Wedge is wedged!

-We have to pull him out. -Quick!

I need a fishing pole, ten coils of rope, and a karaoke machine.

What's the karaoke machine for?

How else are we going to sing

the rescue theme song I just wrote?

Ahem!

The coolant in Wedge's tube could freeze him in place.

The odds are certainly stacked against us.

Stacked! That's it.

The stack and save maneuver... But in reverse!

Grab my feet, Medix!

Probability of full tube destruction is imminent.

-Finally. -Good to see you too, buddy.

[grunting]

Our stack is a bot short.

Maybe not.

What?

Hey, I heard you need a hand.

Aghhhhh!

-We got ya! -Hold tight, buddy!

[Medix] Maximum effort!

Pull!

Ahhh... Oof! Thanks.

I was worried you didn't hear my alarm.

Oh, we heard it! We just thought you were messing with us.

You have been using it an awful lot.

To be precise, twenty-seven and a half times.

I guess that does make it hard to tell

when there's a real emergency, huh?

[alarm sounds]

-Seriously? -That wasn't me!

My tube's still working. Everyone in!

Ooof!

A little awkward... but very fast.

That's a new speed record.

-Yay! Woo-hoo! -That's how it's done!

Here, Wedge. I think you dropped this.

I don't think I should have that, sir.

I disobeyed your orders and used it way too many times.

I see...

All I cared about was making the team faster.

So I didn't listen when they told me they needed a rest,

or that the tube system needed fixing.

Which is why it broke... and I got stuck in it.

I'm lucky they even showed up to rescue me.

Hmm.

Please don't expel him, sir!

Yeah, Wedge's spark was totally in the right place.

We're glad he's part of our team.

And we did improve our roll times... eventually.

I... agree.

Huh?

And now that you're all so good

at responding quickly to emergencies,

I believe there's a tube system that needs fixing.

[alarm sounds]
