- [Alpha Q] I am deep

within a dense, dark cloud

of cosmic matter.

I am at the core.

All that remains of the

planet-sized Transformer

known as Unicron.

- [High-Pitched Voice] Wait

a second, hold everything!

Something is missing here!

Give me a moment to think!

- [Rumbling Voice] The energy

core is seriously depleted.

- We scan the universe

for a new source.

I am Alpha Q, one of the

many victims of Unicron.

He's probably back online,

to prevent him

from going offline.

(maniacal laughing)

- Must awaken

Unicron, must release

energy eating Terrorcons.

He hungers for the most

powerful energy in the universe.

Energon, it is in

abundance on Earth

and nothing will

stand in the way.

(roars)

(dramatic music)

- [Demolishor] It has been ten

Earth years since our leader,

Megatron, and Unicron

disappeared into deep space.

For ten years, I have

had to suffer through

working alongside the

incompetent Autobots

and these pathetic humans.

We, the Decepticons,

destined to rule the galaxy

have no choice but to

follow Optimus Prime.

(metal clashing)

We have joined forces

secretly with the humans

to search for energon and

to rebuild what was lost

both on Cybertron and Earth.

(triumphant music)

Hey, what's going on here?

Nobody told me we

were surfacing.

(motorcycle engine revs)

Oh, it's only you, Kicker.

What are you doing out here?

- I came out for a

little fresh air.

Do you mind?

- You're not supposed

to be out here!

(Kicker laughs)

(electronic music)

(tires skid)

- Aren't you supposed to

we're not enemies anymore.

(groans)

(Kicker laughs)

(motorcycle engine revs)

a pain in the rear bumper.

(Kicker laughs)

(motorcycle engine whirring)

- Okay, wise guy, who

gave you permission

to surface the city?

- I am so sick of being

trapped in this stupid city!

And besides, who made you king?

- I'm in charge here so don't

push your luck, you got that?

- You think you're the boss but

I've had enough of

you bossin' me around!

- Better watch

(tires screech)

(heart thumps)

(Kicker laughs)

(birds cawing)

- Check it out, Skyblast.

(low thrumming)

(both gasp)

- [Rad] This is Earth's

Extraterrestrial Research

and Development Center

here on planet Cybertron

and if it has to do

with Earth, these guys

are the ones to talk to.

(computers beeping)

- (gasps) Are you serious?

- Yeah, I'm serious.

And can you tell my dad I'm

gonna check things out, Rad?

- You got it, kiddo.

- Thanks.

- [Dr. Jones] Rad,

was that Sally?

- Yeah, and she's got

big news from Earth!

- (groans) Please don't tell

me Kicker did something again.

- No, no Doc, Kicker's just fine

but Sally said the Omnicons

hit a huge deposit of energon!

- What am I gonna do with him?

Huh, what?

Down at Ocean City?

- [Rad] She said our

Earth station has detected

molecular activity at

the precise coordinates

where you suspected

energon to be.

- Very interesting, has Hot Shot

been informed about this?

- Not yet.

- Optimus will be pleased.

All the material I've read

on energon says it's a

clean energy source and the

answer to Earth's energy crisis.

But more importantly,

the Transformers

need it for themselves to

power up and repair Cybertron.

This may well be the

discovery of the millennium!

(elevator rises)

- Hey Tidal Wave, did

you hear the good news?

They found energon!

We better get our butts

in gear and get some!

- Oh boy, Decepticons

are so uptight!

- Yeah, when they were

programmed, they forgot

to put in the relax chip.

(laughs)

- Hey, look up there!

- [Tidal Wave] What's

going on up there?

- We just saw something, sir!

(expl*si*n)

- Tidal Wave!

(machines cawing)

(machines roaring)

(laser blasts)

(dramatic music)

- Tidal Wave will

defend Cybertron.

Tidal Wave will attack!

(yelling)

(grunts)

(both grunting)

(yelling)

- So, anyone else?

- Yeah, I'll go

again, I'm ready!

Whenever you are!

- (laughing) I

like you, Ironhide.

You remind me a lot of Hot Shot.

- You really think so, sir?

(alarm blares)

- All right, that's enough

training for today, men.

We'll pick this up tomorrow.

- [All] Sir!

- Oh wow, can't believe

Optimus said that!

Just to be mentioned in

the same breath as Hot Shot

is probably the greatest

compliment in the universe.

I am the greatest!

(stomping)

- What's up?

- There's big trouble, Optimus!

- One of our satellite cities

has been hit by asteroids

blasted by some unknown force.

They stole some energon.

- What?

- [Rad] Carlos radioed in that

our Mars depot was under attack.

(computers beeping alarmingly)

- All stations,

this is not a test!

Enemy attack has

been detected coming

from unknown

mechanical lifeforms!

- [Deep Rumbling Voice] A very

interesting turn of events,

don't you think,

Commander Prime?

Who would have thought energon

would have been detected

on planet Earth?

- It's strange.

- [Deep Rumbling Voice]

But what's even stranger

is we don't know

who our enemy is

and if they plan on

attacking us on Earth.

- Then I'll assemble

a Recon team at once.

- [Dr. Jones] No, wait!

- Huh?

- I have something for you.

- So what's the scoop, sir?

Me and my boys are

startin' to rust away

because it's been

so slow around here.

- (laughs) You always

crack me up, Jetfire.

Well, we've got a mission and

that includes you, Inferno.

- I heard there's a

situation on Earth, sir.

- That's right, but first

we have to make a stop

at our space bridge on Mars.

- To assess the enemy, sir?

- Yes, now let's move out.

- [Ironhide] Hang on!

What now, Ironhide?

- (panting) You

gotta take me, sir!

I wanna go on this mission.

- Wanna learn from

the best, huh?

Well I hope you understand

this isn't just a game.

- Okay, I know I'm a rookie,

Optimus, but I wanna see some-

- You uploaded your spark

of combination, Ironhide?

- Uh, no, not yet.

But I can!

- It's your decision, Jetfire.

- (groans) Okay, come on.

- Sir!

- All units, transform!

Rad, open the gates!

(electric whirring)

Dr. Jones, is Ironhide

going with them?

- It looks like it, yeah.

(dramatic music)

- [Ironhide] Man, this is great!

(ominous mucis)

Well men, here we are, Mars.

- Is that our Cybertron City?

- Hello, can anybody hear me?!

- I'm not detecting any signs

of life on this planet, sir.

- But I thought there

was supposed to be

loads of transformers

workin' down there.

- Me too.

- You think they were wiped out?

- We've got to get to Earth!

(dramatic music)

(birds cawing)

(electric zapping)

- Is that energon?

- Yes, it's the

energy source that all

life forms need

to survive, Sally.

- I'm not sure I get it, Mom.

Do you, Kicker?

- (groans) You think I care?

- What is with that boy?

- He's just going through

a phase, that's all.

- Well.

(sad music)

(Kicker grunts)

- Humans don't need to

rely on Transformers.

(growls)

- Look!

- Well, here we are, Kicker,

this is planet Cybertron.

(mechanical stomping)

(gasps)

they're our friends.

They're called Transformers

and they're here to protect us.

- Yeah, well I don't need

anyone to protect me.

(electric humming)

- [Hot Shot] Are

you serious, Carlos?

Our base on Mars was hit?

- Yeah, Hot Shot, and

according to our reports,

it was destroyed by

some kind of asteroids.

Oh and supposedly, a huge

amount of energon was stolen.

- Boy, it sure is lucky that

nothing's happened here yet.

- Hot Shot!

Hot Shot!

You gotta submerge the city!

(pants)

And make it quick!

- No can do, Kicker,

we're right in the middle

of an energon mining op.

And besides, it was

you who raised the city

in the first place.

- Listen, we're under attack!

(mechanical shifting)

(engine revving)

We don't have time

for this, now move!

(mumbling) I just

hope he isn't lost.

(high-pitching humming)

- [Primus] So, you're the

one who discovered me.

(electric zapping)

(Kicker grunts)

- [Primus] You humans

are interesting creatures

and I'm curious what type of

energy source you rely on.

- Kicker!

What's going on here?

(Kicker whimpers)

(low electric thrumming)

- That's when it all started,

that's when I realized

I had some weird ability

to perceive things.

(tires screech)

(gasps)

Up there, Hot Shot!

Can you see it?

- (groans) I don't see a thing.

This better not be a joke.

- Yeah, whatever.

(g*n fires)

- Well, you missed!

Look, there they are!

- They look like some

kind of Recon bots

and there's lots of 'em!

- How do you know?

- [Kicker] Take a

look for yourself!

Transformers be attacking us?

- 'Cause they're

after our energon!

Come on, we gotta

evacuate the city!

- Kicker!

(machines cawing)

(laser blasts)

(expl*si*n)

This is crazy!

(Kicker laughs)

Kicker, don't be an idiot!

We're in trouble.

(machines roaring)

- What's goin' on?

What do you want?

(roaring)

Oh no you're not!

(g*n blasting)

(roaring)

You're not getting past me!

- Run for it, Kicker!

(machines growl)

- Somebody call for help?

Well it's Optimus and

his boys to the rescue!

- Transform!

(laser blasts)

- Transform!

Remember me, Kicker?

- Yeah, you're Optimus Prime.

(triumphant music)

- Hey, Skyblast, listen.

You hear somethin' outside?

- Who cares, I got enough

work here to keep me busy.

- Yeah, and besides, we're

not even battle bots.

(crashing)

- Oh no, where's my brother?

- Where's Kicker?

- They're swarmin' like flies.

Now they're in trouble.

- We'll hold them off.

You get out of here, Kicker.

- Yeah, like I stand

a chance if I run.

- I promised your father

I'd look after you.

- I'm not a kid

(engine revs) anymore!

- I can look after myself!

- [Optimus] Ironhide, stop him!

- Yes sir!

- Prime force, transform!

(rumbling crash)

(helicopter blades whirring)

(metal slicing)

(wind howling)

Hot Shot, time to use

the spark of combination

Primus gave me!

Here, it's coming your way!

(low humming)

- Awesome.

- Oh man, is that

Hot Shot up there?

- Okay, now combine

with Inferno and attack!

- Roger that.

Inferno, now!

Hot Shot!

- Inferno!

(electric buzzing)

- [Together] Power links!

(loud blasting)

(yelling)

(g*n firing)

- Prime force, this way!

(engines revving)

Optimus Prime super mode!

Power links!

Fire one combined.

Copter two, combined.

Digger three, combined.

Submarine four, combined.

- Optimus Prime, super mode!

(upbeat music)

Energon blast!

- Whoa, not bad!

- Are there any more intruders?

- [Jetfire] Yeah, they're

going for the bridge.

- What?!

- All right kid, pull over!

- Hey, would you

get lost, you freak?

Can't you see I'm trying to

create a diversion for Optimus?

- Sorry pal, but

I've got my orders.

Hey, what are you doing?

- Nine o'clock!

Come and get it, you freaks!

(expl*si*n)

(Kicker yelling)

- Kicker!

I'll save you!

(grunts)

- What happened?

- A gift from your father.

- Huh, him again?

- He realized you

wouldn't listen to anyone

so he wanted to protect you.

You're not a warrior, Kicker.

- What happened to those bots?

- We took care of them and

we didn't need your help.

- Give me a break, and what

about my mom and my sister, huh?

Or don't you Transformers care?

- Hey, watch it, punk!

Nobody talks to

Hot Shot like that!

- Take it easy, Ironhide.

- This is Earth, my planet!

I decide what I do and

nobody else, you got that?

(Optimus laughs)

What's so funny?

- Your father sure has

you pegged, Kicker,

and that's why he built

that suit of armor.

Those robots were Terrorcons,

they were after the energon

and they'll be back.

So if you want to

battle alongside us,

you'll have to wear that suit.

- [Alpha Q] Well

unfortunately for my side,

we didn't get our

hands on the energon.

That's the bad news.

The good news is

there are plenty

of other Cybertron Earth cities

but where will we strike next?

- [High-Pitched Voice]

We're gonna get it!

We're gonna get it!

- [Alpha Q] That should keep

those mindless Transformers

on their toes and if there's

one thing I simply adore,

it's the element of surprise.

(maniacal laughing)
