Do you not remember
the conversation we just had?

Uh, hey, guys. Sorry, the door was open.

Barbie, can we talk?

I got your text.

You're not really quitting, are you?

It's just, I'm not very good and...

No, you're not.

,And no matter how much I practice

I'll never be as good as Svetlana.

Probably not.

I just want you to have
the best possible team.

I do. Or, I thought I did.

Barbie, you're the one who taught me

that we don't need to compete
all the time.

We just need to show up and be who we are.

It'll be great to have
a committed fourth person on the team,

whether you're playing or cheering us on.

Basketball might not be your game,

but supporting your friends,

that is quintessential Barbie.

Thanks, Renee.

So... what're you gonna do?

[sighs]

Are you here
to try and talk me out of quitting?

Nope. I know exactly how you feel.

Good. Then you agree, I should quit.

Sure. If you really hate something,

and you aren't having any fun,

and you don't want to get better,
you should quit.

But that's not
how you feel about soccer, is it?

No. I love soccer.
And I do wanna get better.

But what's the point of being on a team
if you barely play?

Renee just reminded me of something

that I already knew but somehow forgot.

Being on a team
isn't about being a star player.

It's not even about playing,
most of the time.

It's about making the most
of the time you play.

I'll make you a deal.
I won't quit if you won't.
