Valley Island behind them, our heroes now make their way

to Twinleaf Town.

ASH: Once we hit the seaport,

we'll be close to Twinleaf Town, right?

BROCK: Yeah, if I remember correctly, you first came to

Sinnoh through the seaport there!

PIKACHU: [NOSTALGIC]

DAWN: So, what're you gonna do when we get there?

ASH: I'm going home! I need a little time to think about

what's up next.

BROCK: I'll do the same. I haven't seen my family

in Pewter City in a while!

ASH: And you?

DAWN: Home for me too! Mom will be cooking up a storm, and boy

will I eat! And figure out what's next...

ASH: So, I guess it's goodbye when we reach the seaport.

ASH: Soon as we get there.Brock and I are catching

a ferry to Kanto!

BROCK: Right! And once we get there, we'll be going our

- separate ways. - ASH: Yeah.

DAWN: You know. I'll miss you guys.

DAWN: I know! Why you don't you come to my house before

But, the problem is, they all have a mind of their own and

don't want to listen to me at times!

BROCK: Well, patience is the key! It seems to me as long as

you're loving and honest with them, while not backing down,

I'm certain they'll come back around...

NORMAJEAN: Wow! You sound exactly like a

Nursery School teacher!

DAWN: Actually, Brock isn't a

teacher.he's really a Pokémon Breeder!

POKEDEX: Tentacruel. The Jellyfish Pokémon, and the

evolved form of Tentacool. Tentacruel uses its tentacles to

capture prey and holds it until it is weakened by poison.

BROCK: So, what are these Tentacruel doing here?

BROCK: Of course, and they went back into the sea!

DAWN: That's great!

ASH: Thanks for healing Pikachu!

NORMAJEAN: Brock! Please help me!

NORMAJEAN: The Pokémon have been poisoned and they're sick!

BROCK: They're all sick?

TEDDIURSA: [GROANING]

ASH: How are they, Brock?

BROCK: Looks like Pichu took in more poison than the rest.

NORMAJEAN: That must be because Tentacruel's

Poison Jab struck Pichu.

BROCK: I guess so.

DAWN: Brock, do you think you can help them all?

BROCK: I want to help them,

but I don't have any more Pecha Berries!

ASH: [SHOCKED] CREWMAN: You there!

ASH: [SURPRISED]

CREWMAN: What happened to all of these Pokémon?

NORMAJEAN: They were poisoned by Tentacruel!

BROCK: And they need medical attention as soon as possible!

CREWMAN: I see. What to do.

This ship doesn't have an infirmary.

ASH: No way!

BROCK: I know! Would it be all right if we search the ship's

cargo? Maybe there are some Pecha Berries on board that

we could use.

CREWMAN: Let me think. I do recall seeing some Berries being

delivered. All right, follow me!

CREWMAN: I'll contact the island and try to get in touch

with Nurse Joy!

BROCK: That's great. Thanks!

BROCK: Hopefully, one of these boxes is full of Pecha Berries.

DAWN: Let's look!

BROCK: Happiny, come out and give us a hand!

HAPPINY: [APPEARING]

HAPPINY: [HAPPY]

ASH: Hey Brock, what about using this?

BROCK: A Kelpsy Berry won't work.

DAWN: Here's a Durin Berry!

BROCK: That won't work either!

HAPPINY: [EXERTION] [NOTICING]

ASH: Wonder what's through that door?

BROCK: Yeah. Let's go check it out!

ASH: Pecha Berries!

DAWN: But why are you eating them?

ASH: We've got a bunch of sick Pokémon, you know!

DAWN: And those Pecha Berries are the only

thing that can help!

JAMES: Let's make a deal! You give us Pikachu and these

Berries are all yours!

BROCK: This is no time to be making a deal!

MEOWTH: It's the perfect time, 'cause we're keeping it real!

JESSIE: Considering we're crooks, it's a steal!

WOBBUFFET: [PROUD AFFIRMATIVE]

JESSIE: We're blasting off again!

BROCK: It looks like this is the only one left.

DAWN: Brock, do you think that maybe one of the passengers

might have an Antidote that would help us?

BROCK: Yeah!

ASH: Great! Let's split up and ask around!

BROCK: Any luck?

DAWN: I managed to find one Pecha Berry.

ASH: Me too.

BROCK: I was able to get a little Heal Powder.

BROCK: ...but it won't be enough.

ASH: And they're all feeling so sick.

OLD LADY: Excuse me.

OLD LADY: Have a look at this! When I was a youngster, I would

grind it up and use it as a poison antidote!

BROCK: I know this. It's a Lava Cookie! It can neutralize the

poison's effects! Thank you so much!

OLD LADY: My pleasure! Just please help those poor Pokémon!

BROCK: Right!

BROCK: There! That should do it.

ASH: Awesome, Brock!

DAWN: Let's go give it to them,

- right now! - BROCK: Yeah!

ASH: They'll be better in no time!

DAWN: I'm sure of it!

BROCK: Here.

BROCK: Maybe if we make it a little easier to drink.

BROCK: That's a good Pokémon.

HAPPINY: [CARING]

IGGLYBUFF: [WEAK]

BROCK: Feels like Igglybuff's fever has gone down as well!

NORMAJEAN: Quick, Brock! It's Pichu!

PICHU: [WEAK]

BROCK: Oh no! I guess the medicine wasn't enough to

neutralize Tentacruel's Poison after all!

NORMAJEAN: I'm so worried! Brock, what are we going to do?

BROCK: I'm sorry. I'm afraid I just don't know.

CREWMAN: Everybody! ASH: [SURPRISED]

CREW: I called Nurse Joy for help and a rescue boat is on its

way with her onboard!

BROCK: I'd like to speak to Nurse Joy if it's possible!

NURSE JOY: Pleasure to meet you, Brock. I was wondering if you

were able to find anything effective against the poison.

BROCK: I was! But because we didn't have enough, they haven't

fully recovered. Do you have any idea when you'll

be arriving here?

NURSE JOY: Not sure. I'm afraid it could be as

long as two hours.

BROCK: Pichu's in bad shape!

Its fever's up and it's having trouble breathing!

NURSE JOY: Please, Brock, try to stay calm. Until we reach you,

just do the best you can.

BROCK: But, Nurse Joy, I'm only a Pokémon Breeder. I honestly

don't know what else to do.

NURSE JOY: Think, Brock!

NURSE JOY: The truth is, you're on your own until we get there!

There's got to be something.

Something else you can do for them.

BROCK: Right! I understand! I'll do my best!

DAWN: All right, Piplup, use Whirlpool!

DAWN: Buneary! Ice Beam, let's go!

BROCK: Excellent. Let's see. What other than electricity will

help Pichu regain its strength?

Hey, the Durin Berries we found in the cargo!

HAPPINY: [CURIOUS]

BROCK: It's a special energy drink made by mixing and

grinding Durin Berries and Oran Berries. And it's ready to go!

BROCK: Here. Down the hatch!

HAPPINY: [EXCITED]

BROCK: You want to do it?

HAPPINY: [ENCOURAGING]

BROCK: Then here you go... PICHU: [RESISTING]

BROCK: I know you're not feeling well,

but try to drink it.

NORMAJEAN: Pichu, please?

HAPPINY: [INSISTING]

PICHU: [RESISTING]

BROCK: Pichu, you've got to drink, please!

DAWN: Yes, listen to Brock.

HAPPINY: [PLEADING]

ASH: Whoa, check it out!

DAWN: Brock, do you think?

BROCK: It's evolving! No doubt!

POKEDEX: Chansey. The Egg Pokémon, and the evolved form of

Happiny. Chansey is a kind Pokémon who shares its egg with

those who are sick or injured.

- BROCK: Dawn, may I see that? - DAWN: Sure!

BROCK: Great! Chansey knows Softboiled! Chansey,

use Softboiled on Pichu, quick!

CHANSEY: [SOFTBOILED MOVE]

PICHU: [STARTLED]

NORMAJEAN: Pichu! Look Brock, Pichu's waking up!

BROCK: Great! Thanks, Chansey. Good job!

CHANSEY, PIKACHU: [HAPPY]

BROCK: Thank goodness.

PICHU: [EXERTION] [HAPPY] / [REASSURING]

CLEFFA: [HAPPY]

ASH: Wow, Nurse Joy, everybody's feeling great!

BROCK: I can't thank you enough, Nurse Joy.

NURSE JOY: I should be thanking you, Brock! You and your

treatments were responsible for bringing Pichu and the other

Pokémon back to good health!

NORMAJEAN: She's right, and I will always be grateful, Brock.

BROCK: Well, I just did what I had to do!

PICHU: [HAPPY]

PICHU: [GRATEFUL]

BROCK: Glad you're better!

CLEFFA: [GRATEFUL]

BROCK: Yeah, you're all better. Great!

PICHU: [GRATEFUL]

NURSE JOY: You know, I bet you'd be a wonderful Pokémon Doctor

if you wanted to be.

BROCK: Who, me? A Pokémon Doctor?

DAWN: Well that means you'd always end up being with

Nurse Joy.

BROCK: To think, I'd spend all my waking hours with Nurse Joy!

CROAGUNK: [CROAKING] BROCK: Except now!

CROAGUNK: [EXERTION]

NURSE JOY: [SURPRISED]

DAWN: Brock can act a bit weird sometimes, but when it comes to

Pokémon, its obvious he cares!

ASH: Yeah! PIKACHU: [AGREEING]

PIPLUP: [AGREEING]

JESSIE: Meowth? I wanna go to sleep!

JAMES: They're probably already asleep.

MEOWTH: We'll never get a bite without any bait.

MEOWTH: Or not! It's a whopper!

JESSIE: Hold tight! Look at the pull on that pole!

JAMES: Assert your angler-ness!

ASH: Cool! I can finally see the seaport!

DAWN: Hi, Mom! PIPLUP: [EXCITED]

JOHANNA: Welcome back!

DAWN: I'm really home!
