How about this for our nature collection?

A maple key.

Perfect.

[ Buzzing]

[ Buzzing...]

[ Laughing]

I guess not.

[ Buzzing...]

Hmm...

We need more nature for our collection.

Mushrooms.

Hmm.

This mushroom looks like a tiny umbrella.

That'll be good in case it rains.

[ Both laughing]

The fall colors are so beautiful.

Look at this one.

Amazing.

[ Sniffs]

[ Crunches]

Blah!

That pine cone will be good

For our collection.

Look at all this moss.

[ Sighs]

Wake up!

[ Laughs]

Little bear, where did you go?

Boo!

It's just a rock.

I know, but our nature collection might need

Something lumpy and bumpy.

I guess we can't add this to our collection.

Emily, look at this.

[ Squeaking...]

[ Squeaking]

Emily, watch me skip this one.

They're teasels.

Their flowers are like pincushions.

They're furry.

Perfect for our nature collection.

[ Laughing]

Oh, this flower looks like mitzi.

Call it a monkey flower.

How about a mitzi flower?

Emily: buttercups.

Little bear, see if I like butter.

[ Wind gusting...]

[ Panting]

I'm going to make a wish.

And if I blow all the seeds away in one puff

My wish will come true.

[ Blows]

I wish we could take all of this home

And put it in our nature collection.

That's a lot.

[ Makes oboe-like tune...]

Wow.wow.

[ Humming...]

Little bear: hello.

Hello, little bear.

Hello, emily.

Look what we got.

Look at this mushroom.

And p*ssy willows.

Oh, my.

It's all very lovely.

It's our nature collection.

And listen to what I can do.

[ Blows tune]

[ Birds screeching...]

Well, the big bird liked it.

I can show you an interesting bit of nature.

This little vine wants to hang on to something

So it can grow more beautiful flowers.

Emily, hold out your finger.

Me too?

Now be very still, and watch what happens.

Oh.

Now loosen the little vines carefully

And let them grab on to the trellis.

Isn't nature wonderful?

Perfect.

[ Gasps]

Emily, look at the rock you found.

It's all sparkly inside.

[ Clock ticking...]

Here's your new year's hat, duck.

Is it new year's now?

Not yet.

When the clock strikes times.

[ Clock strikes]

All: one, two...

Three, four, five

Six, seven, eight.

[ Striking stops]

Happy new year, grandfather bear.

New year?

Is it midnight already?

Not yet.

The clock only struck eight times.

Grandfather bear: hmm...

We still have a bit of a wait, then.

Father bear, can you stay awake till midnight?

[ Yawns]

I think so.

Do you think you can stay awake that long, little bear?

Sure I can.

[ Both laugh]

I'm sure you can, too.

We're all staying up until midnight!

All: hooray! Yeah!

[ Quacks]

[ Quacks]

[ Barking]

[ Clock ticking...]

[ Clock strikes]

[ Striking stops]

Not yet.

The clock has to strike .

[ Ticking...]

[ Duck sighs]

Then it will be midnight.

Then it will be the new year.

[ Yawns]

What are we going to do until midnight?

[ Loud yawn...]

We could use a little music.

All: yay!

Good idea.

This looks like a good one.

[ Piano playing...]

Uh-huh!

Amazing!

That's nice music.

It's a waltz.

What's a "waltz?"

Come on, old bear.

Let's show the youngsters how it's done.

Clear the dance floor.

[ Quacks]

[ Record playing...]

[ Clucking...]

[ Striking stops]

[ Dance music ends]

It's never going to be midnight.

[ Quacks]

[ Squawks] there's nothing green on me

[ In a deep voice]: oh, I've got a big fish.

[ Grunting]

That's a good day's fishing.

[ Yawns]

Now it's time for bed.

[ Snoring]

Cat's right.

It's father bear.

[ Emily giggles]

[ All laugh]

That's a funny way to move around.

Well, it's someone who thinks a lot.
