[ Hen clucks]

[ Owl hoots...]

[ Hen squawks]

Cat: boo!

[ Squawking]

All: whoa!

[ All laughing]

[ Wind blowing]

The scarecrow waved at me.

Oh?

I think he was just waving goodnight.

Now, into bed.

There you go.

[ Giggles]

It's so bright outside.

Yes, that's the harvest moon.

It's so big I can almost touch it.

It's the biggest moon we'll see all year.

I remember your father and I dancing under a harvest moon.

Father: I remember it well.

That was a wonderful night.

It was the first time

Your father and I danced together.

There is something special about a harvest moon.

[ Father humming]

Now it's time to go to sleep, little bear.

We'll see you in the morning.

Good night, mother bear.

Good night, father bear.

[ Door squeaks]

The moon is so bright.

[ Sighs]

[ Gasps]

You arewaving at me.

Now, where did you go?

There you are.

Hey, come back here!

Hey, stop!

[ Giggling]

I didn't know scarecrows were such good dancers.

I know.

Let's go to the top of that hill and we'll dance under the moon.

Come on.

[ Croaking...]

[ Giggling]

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

[ Grunts]

[ Giggling]

[ Mice squeaking]

Hello, mice.

I'm sorry, did we wake you up?

We're going to the top of the hill

To dance under the moon.

Would you like to come with us?

[ Squeaking]

Hello, pumpkins.

Of course, you can come with us, too.

I never knew pumpkins were such good dancers.

[ Gate creaking]

Thank you, rake.

Thank you, shovel.

[ Hooting]

[ Meowing]

[ Chirping]

Hmm...

Come on, the moon's getting higher!

Let's hurry!

[ Grunts]

Come on, pumpkin.

You can do it, pumpkin.

[ Mice squeaking]

[ Grunts]

Whew!

Wow!

The moon is huge.

♪ The sky's so bright, come dance tonight ♪

♪ To a merry tune.

Whoa!

♪ We'll sing a song, dance all night long ♪

♪ Beneath the harvest moon.

[ Giggling...]

[ Mice squeaking]

You can't touch the moon, scarecrow.

It's too far away.

I know, it seems so close.

There must be a way.

Maybe...

We could fly to the moon!

If one of the pumpkins sits here.

And shovel and rake

Lie across there.

And I stand here.

Come on, scarecrow.

Now, big pumpkin

If you could jump on the other end, please.

Whee!

[ Giggling]

We're flying to the moon!

[ Wind blowing]

Hmm.

[ Slurping]

[ Giggles] duck...

You're supposed to chew on it, not eat it.

But it's good and I'm hungry.

[ Slurps]

[ Gulps]

[ Chuckling]

Stop.

[ Chuckling]

Cut it out.

[ Chuckling...]

No tickling.

[ Screams]

Get off!

Get off me!

[ Screams]

Little bear! Help!

That sounds like no-feet.

Little bear!

No-feet?

[ Yells]

Are you all right?

Of course I'm not all right.

I'm being att*cked by them.

Oh... Caterpillars.

Yum-yum.

Don't eat them, duck.

They're friendly.

Hello, caterpillar.

[ Giggling]: that tickles.

See?

I don't think it's very friendly

To come into someone's garden and eat it all up.

[ Gasps]: oh, no!

You're right.

The caterpillars are ruining mother bear's garden.

We better get them out of here.

[ Door squeaks]

[ Grunting]

[ Grunting]

Do you think this is enough water to wash them off?

I hope so.

There are a lot of caterpillars.

They're not moving.

We need more water.

More water!

[ Grunting]

Hey!

[ Laughing]

Um... Little bear

Are you forgetting about the caterpillars?

Hmm...

I guess they like water.

Interesting... They follow each other.

Maybe if we act like caterpillars they'll follow us.

Hmm...

You can ride up here.

Come on, caterpillars.

Follow us.

[ Both giggling...]

You're a good caterpillar, no-feet.

You're not so bad yourself.

I can go the fastest.

Race you to the field.

I won!

I didn't!

[ All laughing]

Did the caterpillars come with us?

Just one.

Mmm...

Little bear: duck.

But they look so good to eat.

Hey, it likes this plant.

I bet the other caterpillars would like it, too.

But we can't get them to follow us.

Well... Maybe there's another way.

Come on, caterpillars, these taste good.

Here, you show them the way.

It's working.

Aw, they're so sweet.

[ Giggling]

Have we got all of the caterpillars?

I don't see any more.

Come on.

[ Bird chirping...]

[ Nibbling]

I thought the caterpillars would like it here.

And they're out of the garden.

I'm glad the caterpillars are happy.

Thanks for your help, little caterpillar.

[ Birds tweeting]

They can really eat.

All this eating is making me so hungry.

Me, too.

It must be dinner time.

Do you want to come home with me?

Are you comfortable?

[ Sighs]

Good morning, caterpillar.

Caterpillar?

[ Weeping outside]

Oh... [ Sobbing]

What's wrong, duck?

The caterpillars.

They're all gone.

I didn't eat them, honest.

It's true, little bear, look.

What are those things?

Interesting.

Hello?

Are you in there, caterpillar?

[ Rustles softly]

Duck: what is it?

That's not a caterpillar.

No, it's...

It's a...

All: butterfly!

Wow!

There you are.

Beautiful.

Very beautiful.

Yes.

I'm glad I didn't eat them.

[ Giggling]

[ Little bear growling]

You goblins better watch out.

Tonight's goblin night.

[ Growls]

[ Growling]

My goodness!

It's a monster.

Help!

[ Giggling]

Did I really scare you?

You really did.

And I'm sure you'll scare

The goblins tonight, too.

Mm-hmm.

Father bear!

That was you.

But it could have been a goblin.

Remember, tonight they'll play tricks on anyone they meet.

Unless we can scare them away.

[ Growling]

[ Both growling]

Come here, you little monster.

[ Both laughing]

I think we have all the food for the bonfire.

Here's the corn for roasting.

And here's the pumpkin, full of seeds for toasting.

Mmm...

Corn and pumpkin seeds.

[ Meowing]

Happy goblin night, little bear.

Good costume, cat.

[ Purrs]: thank you, little bear.

Everyone knows that black cats are scary.

[ Scary meow]

Ooh, very scary.

We better get going, little bear.

Don't you want to come with us?

We're going to take a shortcut.

Cat?

What?

Oh, father bear.

[ Chuckles]

Lots of goblins out tonight.

We're not afraid, are we, cat?

Not a bit.

[ Growling and hissing]

[ Fierce meowing]

[ Mother and father bear chuckling]

All right, we'll see you at the bonfire.

[ Growling, meowing]

Little bear: goblins love to play tricks.

They like to pull your tail

When you are not looking.

And jump out and scare you.

But I'm fast.

They can't catch me.

And I'm brave.

They can't scare me.

[ Growling, meowing]

[ Soft thumping]

Look out!

What was that?

Acorns.

The wind knocked them out of the tree.

Or a goblin did.

Or a ghost did.

[ Spooky voice]: boo... Boo...

[ Little bear and cat scream]

Boo... Hoo.

Oh, it's just owl.

No, it's not.

It's a very scary ghost.

Boo! Hoo! Boo! Ooh! Oh!

Hey!

[ Laughter]

[ Both laugh]

Well, you didn't think it was so funny

When those acorns fell on you head.

[ Metal clatters]

What was that sound?

What sound?

[ Metal clattering, wind whistling]

It's coming from over there.

Maybe it's goblins.

They're heading this way.

Quick, let's hide!

[ Metal clattering]

Cat: owl, get your wing out of my eye.

I can't until little bear moves his tail.

Cat is sitting on my tail.

[ Metal clattering]

Boo!

[ All yell]

Oh, duck...

Happy goblin night.

[ Giggling]

Guess I scared you.

No, not me.

I don't think so.

Not me.

Who are you supposed to be, anyway?

Aw... Can't you tell?

I'm a thundercloud.

[ Rattles objects in can]

What's the can for?

My thunder.

Isn't it scary?

Well, I hope it scares the goblins.

Let's get going.

[ Growling, booing, meowing]

[ Wind whistles]

I hear whistling.

Do goblins whistle?

Only when they're calling other goblins.

Why do they need other goblins?

To scare you.

I'm already scared.

Boo!

[ All yell]

[ Yelling, meowing...]

[ Bushes rustle]

[ All grunting]

What was that?

A goblin.

[ Laughing]

Hey, scaredy-cats.

Who's a scaredy cat?

You are.

Nice goblin costume, mitzi.

Thank you, little bear.

[ Wind whistles]

Who's that whistling?

Goblins.

Ooh.

Real ones.

[ Wind whistling]

Duck down!

The goblins are all around us.

What are we going to do?

Hide?

Yell for help?

No, we've got to scare the goblins off.

We do?

No we don't.

Is everybody ready?

Okay.

Yeah. Yes.

Uh-uh.

Follow me.

[ Growling, meowing, hooting...]

[ Gasps]

Look.

There you are.

Where have you been?

We were scaring away the goblins.

They thought I was a ghost.

Whoa! Ooh!

I'm thunder.

[ Rattles can]

I'm a goblin, but not a real one.

Did you scare away all the real goblins?

Yes.

Good, then it will be safe to eat.

Mmm-mm, corn.

And...

Pumpkin seeds!

[ All cheer]

[ Munching and sighing]

Mmm.

Mm-mmm.

Hmm...

Hey.

Who was that?

A goblin?

[ Laughing]: yes.

A very big goblin.

[ Growling]

[ Laughing and growling]
