(Thunder rumbling )

Is the show over?

Yes, mother bear.

It was the greatest show in the world.

Well, come on.

Dinner's ready.

Thank you!

Here are some more flowers, mother bear.

Thank you, little bear.

Let's see...

You found some cornflowers...

Some queen anne's lace...

(Gasps )

Oh, my!

You found a four-leaf clover!

See?

One, two, three... Four leaves!

Most clover has three leaves.

Here, you hold on to it for good luck.

Thank you, mother bear.

It's very lucky to find a four-leaf clover, little bear.

Hmm...

(Giggles )

I'm lucky little bear.

I'm going to go show my friends my four-leaf clover.

Good luck, little bear.

Good-bye!

(Duck grunting and quacking )

(Grunting )

(Quacks )

Whoa!

Hello, duck.

What are you doing?

Oh, hello, little bear.

I'm trying to get across, but the stones are too slippery.

Well, today is your lucky day, duck.

It is?

Mm-hmm. I found a four-leaf clover.

Ooh... It's beautiful!

Mmm...

Ah... Oh!

Duck! You don't eat it.

It brings you good luck.

Watch.

(Grunting )

Ta-da!

Come on, duck, you can do it, too!

Okay, here I go, little bear.

(Grunting )

Ooh!

It worked!

See? I'm lucky little bear.

Me, too!

But how are we going to get across that?

Hmm...

By using our lucky four-leaf clover, that's how.

Come on, duck, follow me.

We are so lucky today!

Whoa...

Ooh...

Whoa!

(Quacks )

What happened to our luck?

Oh, no!

Where's my four-leaf clover?

There it is!

Hey, that's mine!

(Grunting )

Come on, duck.

We have to get it back!

Wait for me!

(Gasps )

Mmm...

Little bear: there it is!

Duck: stop, fish!

Shush!

You'll scare the fish away!

Duck: oops!

Sorry, cat.

What's all this racket about?

That fish took my four-leaf clover!

Well, maybe it will bring me some luck.

I haven't caught a fish all day.

Now, shh...

I see it!

There it is!

Whoa...!

Got it!

Got it!

I got my four-leaf clover back!

Little bear's lucky again!

Ah, mmm...

(Bird chirping )

My four-leaf clover!

Come back!

Not again!

Stop, bird!

Yow...

Ooh...

Oh!

(Meows )

(Bird chirping... )

(Duck and little bear panting... )

Hello, little bear.

(Panting ): hello... Owl...

Both: phew...

What are you chasing?

(Sighs )

That bird took my lucky four-leaf clover.

(Chirping )

Oh...

I don't believe in luck.

Now, if you'll excuse me

I have to find my hammer.

(Gasps ) there it goes!

Come on, duck.

Stop! Don't walk under the ladder!

Why not?

It's bad luck to walk under ladders.

I thought you didn't believe in luck.

I, I don't...

Except for walking under ladders.

That is bad luck.

Well, I know how to get our luck back.

You do?

Yes, I'll just walk back under the ladder.

There, now I have good luck again.

You try it, little bear.

Ta-da!

Whoa!

Um, I found your hammer, owl.

(Hoots )

Thank you, little bear.

Now I can finish

Putting this horseshoe above my door.

(Hammering )

(Chirping )

Look, little bear.

Here comes your four-leaf clover!

(Grunting )

Oh... Ooh!

(Gasps )

There goes my four-leaf clover again.

Oh, no!

Owl: looks like it's somebody else's lucky day.

(Clattering and munching )

Little bear: well, I lost my lucky

Four-leaf clover

But at least we get to have chocolate cake.

That's lucky!

(Slurps )

Would anyone like more cake?

All: yes, please!

Tomorrow I'm going to look

For another four-leaf clover.

And it will bring me lots of good luck.

How can it bring you what you already have?

You're right, mother bear.

I am a lucky little bear.

Both: mmm...

Group singing: * when the moon is bright

* We'll stay up all night

* By the fire's light

* And sing...

(All laughing )

Mmm... I love marshmallows.

Mmm... Me, too.

Mmm...

I loveroasting marshmallows.

Mmm... Me, too.

I love roasting marshmallows...

And eating them!

Duck!

Mmm...

Sorry.

(Laughs ) (laughs )

Hmph!

(Rustling )

What was that?

What?

Did you hear that sound?

I heard it.

Me, too.

It was probably

A squirrel.

Or a rabbit.

Or a fox.

(Gulps )

Or... A monster.

(Growling )

(Both gasp )

(Gasps, hoots )

(Rustling )

Maybe it's...

Monster bear!

Monster... Bear?

Who's monster bear?

He's the biggest bear of all.

Bigger than father bear?

Bigger than any bear.

Oh... That's big!

Oh, there's no such thing as a monster bear.

Oh, yes, there is.

There once was a little bear who was walking in the woods...

The woods were very quiet.

And suddenly...

Whoa...!

Ooh!

Little bear fell to the ground!

Hen: oh, dear...

Duck: my, my...

Little bear: and then he saw...

Owl: what?

Duck: what?

Shh...

What did he see?

Footprints.

(Both gasp )

Footprints?

Monster footprints.

From the monster bear?

Then what happened?

Little bear followed the monster footprints

While, in another part of the forest

There was an owl sitting in a tree.

Who?

Oh, yes...

Well, uh, yes...

Owl was sitting in a tree...

Trying to take a nap.

He was just about to fall asleep

But he felt something breathing on him.

He opened his eyes, turned around...

And what did he see?

Monster bear...!

(Duck and hen gasp )

...as tall as the trees

Was staring him right in the face.

Monster bear blinked.

Owl gulped.

(Gulps )

And then...

Monster bear leaned closer...

Closer...

Closer...

Hen: well, what happened?

Um...

Uh, monster bear plucked him

Right out of the tree.

Like an apple.

My goodness!

What did owl do?

He did what anyone would do.

He started crying for help.

"Help! Help!"

But nobody heard him.

Hethought nobody heard him.

But there was a duck...

There was?

Oh, yes... Yes!

There was a duck who was minding her own business

Swimming in the pond...

Swimming, swimming, swimming...

(Quacks )

Owl: help! Put me down!

Help!

Duck heard owl crying for help

But before she could do anything...

There he was, right in front of her...

Monster bear!

Duck, help!

(Quacks angrily )

(Boom )

Now, look here, monster bear.

That's my friend owl and he's very frightened

And you better let him go

Right now or else!

(Growling )

Or else...

I'll have to... Get you!

(Laughing loudly... )

(Father bear laughing )

Monster bear laughed so hard the ground was shaking!

It seemed that no one could stop monster bear

Until... He came upon a hen's house.

(Squawks )

A hen? What hen?

Oh, oh, and, uh...

Hen's house was shaking!

Everything was shaking!

Hen thought the sky was falling!

And then, she saw him...

As big as a mountain...

Monster bear!

Owl: help!

(Duck quacks loudly )

Oh dear, oh dear me!

(Squawking )

Hen didn't know what to do.

She'd never seen a monster bear before.

(Clears throat )

Excuse me, mr. Monster bear.

Good afternoon.

Would you please let my friends go?

(Laughing )

(Squawking and clucking )

Oh, dear!

(Clucking... )

Little bear: and when little bear caught up with monster bear

He could see owl and duck and hen!

And they were scared!

Monster bear, let my friends go!

I'm hungry!

What do monster bears eat?

Owls?

Hens?

Ducks?

Little bears?

Uh-uh.

Marshmallows.

Huh?

Monster bears love to eat marshmallows.

(Laughing )

Mmm...

And the monster bear

Ate lots of marshmallows

And they never saw him again.

The end.

(Growls, laughs )

Mmm...

(Rustling )

Is that monster bear?

It was probably just the wind.

(Rustling )

Maybe it's...

Monster duck!

Monster duck?

Oh, yes.

A scary monster duck!

(Scary quack )

(Others laugh )

Well, I guess we're going to need some more marshmallows.

(Laughs )
