- Sorry, I'm done.

- All right, now let's make leis for the luau.

I got coconut leaves

So we can make baskets and hats and stuff.

- Nice.

- Baskets and hats and leis? - Oh, my.

- Guys, we have a lot to do.

- Hey, don't worry, marina.

We'll all work together.

- Cool beans.

I'll play the uli uli rattle.

- Hey, maybe I can play these rocks.

- They're not rocks, twist.

They're the ili ili stones.

You tap them together to make a sound.

[Clicking]

- [Laughs]

Because I guess, you know, they're rocks.

Hey, but I'd rather play the pahu drum,

If that's all right.

- Give it a go. - Cool.

- Ah, well, that just leaves you, marina.

What will it be?

- Actually, I'd love to play that dru--

- You want the what?

- Ooh!

Ooh!

- I think she said the "dru-ha-ha."

- Hey, marina?

- Hey, where'd she go?

All: marina?

- Um.

I was trying to say "drum,"

And then my hips started moving.

- Weird.

- Ooh! Just like that.

- Ah, marina, what's going on?

- I don't know.

First my hands were moving in the park.

Now it's my hips.

It's like my body's trying to tell me something.

Whoo!

- Whoa. - Easy.

Easy, now.

- Hey, maybe your body's telling you

You want to play the pahu drum.

- Ooh!

- Oh, hey.

Or, um, the uli uli rattle?

- Could be, but I really want to play the--ooh!

- Um, the ukulele?

- Um, well--

- Actually, what I really want to play

Is that ipu hand drum.

- Oh, take it away.

"Aloha" is how you say hello and good-bye in hawaiian.

And my hips stopped moving.

- Aloha, melody.

- Doesn't the park look groovy?

- It looks super cool, melody.

- Oh, and I can't wait to hear you guys

Play hawaiian music.

- We can't wait either. We're all set.

- Yeah, we got some coconut leaves and some seashells.

- And kukui nut leis.

- And have some baskets we made together.

- And our hawaiian instruments.

- And I'll have

Some hawaiian smoothies waiting for you

When you want to take a break.

- All right.

- I've got polynesian pineapple

And cool coconut.

- Let me help pass out these leis.

- Thanks, melody. Thank you.

- All right, guys, let's get this luau started

And play some hawaiian music.

- Hey, marina, count us in, will you?

- You've got it.

My hands are moving again.

- Yeah.

- Oh!

- Easy. Just head back that way.

- Marina?

Um, do you think that maybe we should, um...

My hands are really moving now.

- Kiki, coming your way.

I can't play the drum like this.

Maybe if I hold the drum under your hands, you can play.

- Brilliant.

- All right. A lot of rhythm.

- Oh, this is kind of...

My body just won't stop.

- Whoa, she's coming at you, twist.

- See, I for one am a little--

- Is it safe to come back yet?

You got the, you know, the thing.

Obviously I cannot play the drum like this.

- Well, we don't want to play at the luau without you.

- Hey, don't worry. We'll figure out something.

- Hey. I know.

Wouldn't it be cool if

We went to the yo-yo store

And we got this big giant bouncy yo-yo

That went up and down and up and down

Every time it was yo-yo?

Except that at the end of the string

Instead of a yo-yo,

We'd put marina's ipu hand drum

So then marina could play the ipu yo-yo any time she wanted,

Wherever she was, whatever her hands were doing.

Ha!

- That would be cool,

Or we could just try to figure out what my hands and hips

Are trying to tell me.

- Sure.

If you want to do it the easy way.

- Hey, guys.

[Together] aloha, reed.

- Hope I didn't miss any music yet.

- Not yet.

- I mean, we were starting to play,

And then every time we did, marina's hands were doing this.

- Yeah, yeah, and her hips started doing this.

- Oh, and then she started knocking us around like this.

- Ooh!

- And this.

- By accident, but it's true.

- We think her body is trying to tell us something,

But we don't know what.

- If I can't play music,

I don't know what I'll do at the luau.

- That's a problem.

- Yeah, I've been trying--

- Wow, marina, you're an amazing hula dancer.

- And I didn't even know it.

- Well, now we know what you can do at the luau.
