- Hi, I'’m Calvin.

Welcome to Mutt & Stuff.

Today'’s the Mutt & Stuff open house.

We'’re giving a tour to kids who want to see

how cool our school is.

And the best part... [dog barks]

That'’s right, Zippy,

and the tour ends with a huge Mutt & Stuff party.

[dog barks]

[upbeat music]

[shutter clicking]



Marco, what brings you to Mutt & Stuff?

- Hey, Cousin Calvin,

I'’m here for the Mutt & Stuff tour.

- But you'’ve already seen Mutt & Stuff

like a million times. [shutter clicks]

- I know, but it just keeps getting better and better

every time I see it. [shutter clicks]

- Well, save some pictures for the tour,

because it'’s gonna be awesome.

[dog barks]

Oh, yeah, thanks for reminding me, Zippy.

Hey, Marco, be right back.

It'’s time to start school.

- No worries, cousin.

I got a lot more pictures to take.

- Okay, Zippy, let'’s do it.



[alarm sounds]

Thanks, Zippy.

[bells tolling]

Good boy. Whoo-hoo.

Calling all--whoa!

Are you guys here for the Mutt & Stuff tour?

kids: Yeah!

- Oh, boy. That'’s a lot of kids.

- Excuse me, pardon me.

Uh, big yellow dog coming through.

Pardon me, '’scuse me, '’scuse me.

Whoa!

Um, Calvin, is Mutt & Stuff a school for kids now?

- No, Stuff,

today'’s the Mutt & Stuff open house

and everyone'’s here for the tour--

and I still have to start school!

- Don'’t worry, Calvin, I got you covered.

I'’ll watch the kids while you get school started.

- That'’d be awesome, Marco. Thank you.

- No problem, that'’s what cousins are for.

- Calling all dogs! Time for school!

Use the side door today.

It'’s kind of crowded out here.

Time to start school.

[excited music]



Good morning, everyone!

Let'’s do role call, so we can help Marco with the kids.

We'’ll start with my dog, Zippy.

- And now, will everyone please follow me right over here?

Our next stop on the tour

is this big box of squeaky toys.

Everybody grab one.

[toys squeaking]

- Oh, Marco. [laughs]

I'’m kind of in the middle of role call.

- Oh, sorry, Calvin.

The kids were so excited about seeing Mutt & Stuff.

I thought I should start the tour.

- Good idea.

Just let me finish role call, and I'’ll take over.

- [whispers] Calvin'’s doing role call,

so squeak after me-- I mean, follow me.

[toys squeaking]

- [exhales] Okay.

Now I'’ll start role call with my dog, Zippy.

[toy squeaks]

I'’ll never get through role call.

Quick, is everyone here?

[dogs barking]

Good, everyone'’s here. I got to think fast.

Hm, we'’ve got a bunch of kids

and I need to keep them together

and give them a tour of Mutt & Stuff.

- Chug, chug, chug, whoo, whoo.

- Only if there was something these kids could ride on

so they could stay together.

- Chug, chug, chug, whoo, whoo.

- Something that could, like, roll through Mutt & Stuff.

But what? - Ooh, hey, Calvin!

I know something that rides and rolls and tours.

- What, Stuff?

- One of these! Only bigger.

- Stuff, that'’s a great idea! We'’ll build a train!

Marco!

- Hey, what'’s up?

- Can you take the kids back outside

so we can build a train? - Sure, no problem.

It'’ll be easy-peasy, doggy-squeezy.

[toy squeaks]

Come on, kids! Let'’s go outside!

- Get ready, class. We'’re gonna build a train.

- Yeah!

- How would you guys like to hear a song while we wait?

kids: Yeah!

- ♪ We'’re going on a tour of Mutt & Stuff ♪

♪ See the dogs woof and ruff ♪

♪ All excited in my brain ♪

♪ I want to ride that choo-choo train ♪

♪ Choo-choo train

[kids cheering]

kids: More, more!

- More? Oh, boy.

Uh, let me go see if the train'’s done yet.

Is the train done yet, Calvin?

- It'’s chugging along.

But I need more time.

Okay, Zippy. Bring in the crane!

- Calvin'’s not done yet.

kids: Aw...

- So next I'’ll juggle.

[kids cheering]

[fast-paced circus music]

[kids laughing]

Just remembered. I don'’t know how to juggle.

I'’ll go check on Calvin again.

How about now? - Almost done.

Lower the train engine, Pixie!

- [exhales]

Calvin needs a little more time,

so next I'’ll show you my imitation of a chicken...

[clucking]

A ninja chicken...

[clucking battle cries]

On a roller coaster.

[clucking fearfully]

I'’ll go check on Calvin again.

Hey, Cal--

Calvin?

Calvin? Where are you?

[train whistle blows]

- All aboard!

The Mutt & Stuff Express is ready to roll!

[kids cheering]

- It'’s awesome, Calvin!

- Thanks, Marco.

Okay, guys.

There'’s one last thing before we start the tour.

Who wants to be the whistle dog?

It'’ll be your job to toot the whistle while I drive the train.

[dogs barking]

- I do! - Oh, no!

I'’ve got five dogs, but only one can be the whistle dog.

Maybe they'’ll figure it out.

[dogs barking]

Or not.

Looks like I'’ve got a big choo-choo challenge.

- [mumbling]

- Hey, Davenport. - What are those thing--

- Davenport! - [screams]

Oh, hi there, Zoe. - What are you doing?

- Why, I'’m giving a tour of our tree, of course.

See, over there, there'’s a branch

and up there are some leaves

and right here, there'’s a...

[grunts] a shoe.

- Has that always been there? - Yeah.

It'’s it boot-iful?

[muted trumpet blows]

[both laughing]

I'’m okay - Meow too.

- [sighs] Okay...

I know all of you want to toot the train whistle,

but only one of you can do it

and I have to start this tour.

So to make this fair,

we'’re gonna play "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe."

Eeny, meeny, miny, moe,

chugga, chugga, choo, choo, go!

Zippy!

And here'’s your official whistle dog cap, Zippy.

[dog barks]

- Chugga, chugga, boo-hoo.

I wanted you to choo-choo-choose me.

- Don'’t worry, Stuff.

I'’ve got great jobs for everyone.

- Huh?

- Stuff, you can give a tour of your dog house.

- [gasps]

- Rocket, you'’re in charge of the playground train crossing.

Princess Pickles,

you get to show everyone dress-up time area.

Grumbles, you can help Stuff with his house tour.

Marco, you'’re in charge of setting up Mutt & Stuff

for the big party at the end of the tour.

- Yes! I love parties.

- Let'’s give these kids a tour!

Let'’s go!

[dogs barking]

- Yeah!

- [sighs] Now we'’re ready!

All aboard the Mutt & Stuff Express!

[kids cheering]

Welcome to the Mutt & Stuff open house!

My name'’s Calvin and I'’ll be your tour guide today,

showing you all the things that make Mutt & Stuff so awesome.

[kids cheering]

Please keep your hands and tails inside the train at all times,

as we will be hitting speeds of up to two miles per hour!

Remember, flash photography is okay.

Just be sure to take pictures of my good side!

[shutters clicking]

[train whistle blows]

[steam hisses]

[upbeat harmonica music]



Coming up on your left side is Melvin, the fire hydrant.

- Hi there, kids!

kids: Hi, Melvin!

- Say, what kind of train loves bubble gum?

kids: I don'’t know.

- A chew-chew train!

[kids laughing]

- Thank you, thank you!

Enjoy your tour!

Bye now!

kids: Bye!

- I want to thank you for riding the Mutt & Stuff Express.

We know you can tour any dog school,

so we appreciate you for choo-choo-choosing us.

[kids laughing]

You may be wondering

how we keep our carpets so clean in a school for dogs.

Well, our secret is, we sham-poodle it twice a day.

[kids laughing]

Next stop, the Doggy Everything Closet.

We were gonna call it the Kitty Everything Box,

but that would have been a big meow-stake.

[kids laughing]

And now, open the Doggy Everything Closet!

Now you can see how we do dress-up time.

Okay, Princess Pickles,

show us the latest in doggy fashion!

Marco, I thought you were setting up for the party.

It'’s Princess Pickle'’s job to do dress-up time.

- I know, but she didn'’t like her job

so I'’m doing it for her.

- Well, if she'’s not here, where is she?

[dog barks]

Oh, no!

It looks like Princess Pickles is doing the wrong job.

Sorry, Princess Pickles,

but being whistle dog is Zippy'’s job.

You were supposed to show everyone

the Doggy Everything Closet, remember?

[dog whines]

Glad we solved that little problem.

And now, I give you doggy dress-up time,

starring Princess Pickles.

[upbeat xylophone music]

[shutters clicking]

[barks]



[train whistle blows]

[steam hisses]

[upbeat harmonica music]

Coming up next, prepare for a total cuteness overload.

We'’re gonna check out the puppies in the puppy play pen.

[train whistle blows]

And we'’re wrapping back around Mutt & Stuff

to meet our neighborhood cats, Zoe and Davenport.

- Hi, kids. kids: Hi, Zoe.

- Hey, help me wake up Davenport.

Davenport! kids: Davenport!

- Louder!

all: Davenport!

- [screams]

Oh, hey there, Zoe.

[shrieks]

[kids laughing]

Hi, kids. kids: Hi, Davenport.

- Hey, Davenport. Have you ever been on a train?

- Oh, sure.

I once rode on the Cat-anooga Choo-Choo.

[laughs]

♪ Cat-anooga Cat-anooga ♪

♪ Cat-anooga Cat-anooga ♪

♪ Cat-anooga Cat-anooga ♪

Choo choo!

I'’m okay. - Meow too.

Choo choo!

- And we'’re ready to roll. Okay, Zippy.

Toot that whistle.

[train whistle blows]

[upbeat harmonica music]

[train whistle blows]

- And coming on your left-hand side of the train

is the Bowwow Chow Snack Machine.

[kids cheering]

It all starts with the push of the peddle,

releasing that balloon.

The balloon floats up, hits the ball,

and rolls back down and makes the bowling ball--

On second thought, I'’ll just show you.

[kids cheering]

It'’s snack time!

[excited piano music]



- Ooh, I'’m comin'’!

Ooh, snack time!

Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.

- Take it away, Grumbles.

♪♪

[kids laughing]

- Bowwow! Time to chow!

[dogs bark]

[calm string music]

Next stop, Stuff'’s doghouse!

[train whistle blowing]

[upbeat harmonica music]



Folks, now we'’re arriving at Stuff'’s doghouse.

You may be wondering how Stuff gets into his doghouse.

Trust me.

It'’s small on the outside,

but it'’s big on the inside.

Follow me inside.

kids: Wow!

- There'’s plenty of room for everyone.

- [laughs] Welcome to my doghouse.

kids: Hi.

- Now this is my chair,

where I hang out with my doggy buddies.

- Woof, woof!

Woof! [panting]

- Oh, okay. Um...

Here, play with Murray the Walrus.

It can make everybody feel better.

- You'’re not a doggy buddy.

It'’s supposed to be Grumbles.

[dog barking]

Grumbles is wearing the dog whistle hat!

I see the problem.

Grumbles, being Stuff'’s doggy buddy

was supposed to be your job,

not Marco'’s.

[dog whines]

- Hey, Calvin.

Speaking of jobs, I finished setting up the party.

Want to check it out while I finish the tour for you?

- Sounds like a plan.

Just make sure everyone does their jobs.

- It'’ll be easy-peasy, doggy-squeezy.

All right, everybody back to the train.

We'’re going outside.

[kids cheering] - Bye!

[upbeat harmonica music]

[train whistle blows]

- That whistle means

that the playground is the last stop on the tour.

Until we head back into Mutt & Stuff for the big party!

[kids cheering]

Just remember, the chew toys might be covered in drool.

So play with them at your own risk.

And now, let'’s see...

our dogs play!

- ♪ It'’s playtime ♪

- Why did the dog cross the road?

kids: Why?

- To get to the other slide!

This is one dog with great tunnel vision.

kids: Ooh!

- Everyone at Mutt & Stuff loves to have a ball

in the ball pit!

Okay, we'’re almost done with the tour.

Once Rocket raises the crossing arm,

we'’ll go back inside Mutt & Stuff for the big party.

[kids cheering]

Rocket?

Where are you?

You got to raise the crossing arm.

We can'’t get back into Mutt & Stuff!

Where could Rocket be?

Oh...

I think I know where he is.

Rocket, I know you want to be the whistle dog,

but if you don'’t do your job, we'’re gonna be stuck here.

[barks] Thanks, Rocket.

All right, we'’re ready to roll!

[kids cheering]

Make that, almost ready to roll. Oh, no!

Everybody wants to be the whistle dog,

but someone'’s got to raise the arm or--

or--or we'’re never gonna get to the party.

I think I need-- Calvin!

- What'’s up, Marco? - That!

Everyone wants to be the whistle dog.

- Looks like the tour'’s got a little problem.

And the train is stuck.

Okay, guys.

Come on in for a group nose-to-nose.

When you'’re part of a team, everyone has to do their job.

That means everyone'’s job is important.

What do you say?

You guys ready to make this tour a success?

[dogs barking]

I'’ll take that as a yes.

Okay, Rocket, go raise the arm!

Next stop, Mutt & Stuff party!

[kids cheering]

[upbeat harmonica music]

[crossing signal dinging]

Let'’s go!

And here we are!

Last stop, party central!

[kids cheering]

What a great tour.

Let'’s celebrate with a doggy dance party.

Come on. Wag it like you mean it.

[upbeat music]

everybody has to do their job to be a success.

And then we arrived back inside Mutt & Stuff

for a dance party!
